Last time:
Hey guys, I'm Agumon-X and last time on Digimon Data Adventure Squad, Leo and Keramon were in the Digital World looking for Thomas when I, as Koromon, came running to them while being chased by an Eater. Both Leo and Keramon helped me escape the Eater as I explained to them what was happening in the Digital World. The Eater then found us and as Leo and Keramon were starting to lose, I came to the rescue and digivolve into Agumon-X.
The Eater was too busy assessing the situation as Leo used his DNA Charge to digivolve Keramon. Together we defeated the Eater and went back to the real world where Leo's commander let me stay after Leo explained what happened. I've never been so happy, and I hope that I will be able to stay with Leo forever.
Now:
The light of the full moon shines down on the city below as we focus on a certain area where we see both Agumon and Agumon-X running towards the edge of a roof. Both then jump as we see a huge Digimon, with a spiked shell, chasing both Marcus and Leo, who are in their normal clothes.
"Pepper Breath!"
"Baby Flame!" Both Agumon's shouted as their attacks landed on the Digimon's head. Both then landed on top of another roof as they gave each other a fist bump.
Keramon then appears behind the Agumon's and gives the Champion Digimon a taste of his own attack. "Bug Blaster!" Keramon's attack landed scare on the Champion's face, causing it to cringe in pain.
Both Marcus and Leo turned around and smirked as Marcus charged at the Champion while Leo complimented Keramon. "Nice shot on the Tortomon there Keramon."
Keramon smiled as he gave a thumbs up to Leo.
The Tortomon then turned at his attackers and roared at them, not noticing Marcus charging at him.
Marcus then jumped at the Digimon, with his fist ready, while yelling. "I'm not done with you yet!" He then punches Tortomon on the cheek and uses his feet to kick himself off the Champion while his fist is surrounded by orange data.
Agumon notices the DNA Charge and exclaims it out loud. "Yeah, DNA!" Tortomon's tail then smashes part of the roof under Agumon's feet, causing Agumon to fly backwards while Agumon-X and Keramon dodged it. Tortomon, dazed from the punch, accidentally smashes a container behind him with his foot.
Marcus landed back next to Leo, who had his partners behind him, and called out to his partner. "Agumon! You, ok!"
Agumon finished clearing the cobwebs out of his head as he responded to Marcus. "Yeah, I guess."
"Good, cause it's fighting time!" As Marcus pulled out his Digivice.
Leo then yelled out to both. "Be careful Marcus and Agumon!"
Tortomon then focused on Marcus again. "Bring it on you human!"
Digivolution: (Play the Digimon Data Squad digivolution theme)
Marcus Digivice is held up with EVOLUTION popping up onto the screen.
"DNA Charge!" Marcus yelled, as he put his hand over the top of his Digivice.
The screen lights up as He points it towards Agumon.
"Agumon Digivolve to…"
Agumon is then covered in data as his body begins to morph. He starts to grow; his tail becomes longer and both arms and legs begin to become bigger and more muscular. When the data retreats it shows a big orange, blue striped dinosaur with a brown skull helmet with horns and red markings on it, he also has the same red arm bands around his claws.
"GeoGreymon!"
End Digivolution: (Keep the song playing)
GeoGreymon roars behind Tortomon, who is surprised at seeing the Champion appearing behind him. GeoGreymon then grabs onto the spikes that are on Tortomon's shell and lifts the Noisy Digimon, throwing the panicking Digimon through a building leaving the Digimon's unprotected belly facing GeoGreymon.
"Mega Burst!" GeoGreymon's skull helmet begins to gather energy before transferring it to his mouth, which he fires the blast at Tortomon's unprotected belly. Tortomon then dissolves into data before forming into a Digi-Egg.
(End Song)
GeoGreymon's attack could also be seen by both Thomas and Yoshi, who have just arrived to see the attack. This also leaves Yoshi annoyed with the two other members of their team.
"Ugh. I explicitly told both to wait until we caught up with them but do, they wait? Of course not! Leo might wait but not 'mister reckless!"
Both Yoshi and Thomas arrived at where the others were and saw Marcus spinning the Digi-Egg on his finger like a basketball with Leo sitting on a pile of rubble laughing at what Marcus said before stopping when Thomas and Yoshi arrived.
Yoshi saw the damage and was furious with Marcus. "Look at this place! You guys totally wrecked this place! Did you both even think for a second about the damage! Well, say something!?"
Leo looked down in guilt at Yoshi's scolding while Marcus had a smug grin on his face. "How about… we won." Marcus arrogantly says back with Agumon agreeing. Leo looks at Marcus with a smirk thinking at how Marcus is always cocky but can back up his words.
Thomas deadpanned at Marcus before walking off. "You mustn't be so impulsive. We must get the job done right, not just quickly." Marcus smirked smugly at Thomas while responding. "What's wrong? Are you jealous?"
Leo watched the two with a smile as he's happy that Thomas and Marcus are finally getting along. Leo then thought back to the time in the Digital World when he and his partners were attacked by the Eater and couldn't help but think on what Agumon-X said about their being more than one Eater.
He was shaken from his thoughts when Marcus asked him something. "Sorry Marcus, what were you trying to ask?"
"I was asking if you want to come over at my place for dinner since my little sister kept pestering me about inviting you over this morning."
Leo thought about it and smiled. "Okay! I'll just let my Mom know and then we can head over." Marcus gave Leo a thumbs up as the younger boy took out his phone and called his Mum.
Time Skip:
Location - Damon Residence
Inside the house we see Marcus and his family, along with Leo and the Digimon eating at the dinner table. Kristy kept looking at Leo with interest, as he ate with his Digimon next to him, and decided to start a conversation with Leo.
"So, Leo, what school do you go to?" Leo looked at Kristy before smiling at her, causing her face to heat up a little.
"I don't go to any school because I'm home schooled." Leo answered. "Why'd you wanna know?" He asked back to Kristy. Kristy blushed again before turning her head to the side. "No reason."
Sara saw Kristy's blush when Leo smiled and smirked at her daughter with a knowing look on her face. 'Looks like my daughter has a crush on Leo and he doesn't even know.'
Marcus then interrupted them with a smile. "Mom I just can't get enough of your fried eggs." Agumon also agreed and complimented Sara, which annoyed Marcus since he kept telling Agumon not to call his mom by her first name.
Leo and his partners smiled at the friendly banter Marcus and Agumon were having before going back to finish their food. When they finished eating, they then heard both Marcus and Agumon having a heated argument about the last fried egg that Agumon ate.
Leo began to look worried and went to calm the two boys. "Hey, stop fighting you two! It's just food, nothing to fight each other over!" But it was for naught as both boys ignored Leo and continued arguing.
Sara and Kristy were watching this with sweat drops on their heads.
Agumon then glared at Marcus before turning around. "Fine! Don't count on me to bail you out anymore!" This surprised Marcus and Leo as Agumon continued. "Face it, you'll be totally lost without me!"
Leo had a concerned look on his face and was about to speak up before Marcus retaliated. "What! Give me a break! Without me you couldn't digivolve! Without me this team would be nothing!"
Agumon gasped and jumped out of his seat and faced Marcus. "That's it! I can't take this! I don't want you to be my boss!" "That's fine by me! I don't want to be your boss either!"
Leo then yelled out with tears in his eyes. "Can you both shut up! Neither of you can't do anything without the other, but if you both don't want to work with each other then don't expect me to help either of you out anymore!"
Leo then ran out of the room with his partners going after him. Marcus and Agumon looked at where Leo left before glaring at each other. "We're through!" They both yelled before going their separate ways.
Sara and Kristy looked at each other with worry, with Kristy worrying about Leo more than worrying about her brother.
Time Skip:
Location – DATS HQ
In the control room the DATS team, excluding Leo, were just told by Marcus as to why Agumon won't leave his Digivice.
"So that's why you're in there Agumon." Lalamon said as Yoshi was holding Marcus' Digivice. Agumon though just kept his back to them and tried to ignore them.
"This is the worst." Yoshi deadpanned knowing something like this might've happened sooner or later.
"They're acting like kids and poor Leo had to be dragged into it."
Marcus grunted in annoyance to Lalamon's comment. Thomas though decided to finally speak up. "I'm surprised."
Marcus then assumed that Thomas was on his side. "Yeah, I know. I mean can you believe Agumon and besides it was him that pushed Leo away."
Thomas though continued. "I meant you Marcus. You're being immature, even for you." That caused Marcus to yell back at Thomas. "You're being immature!"
Agumon took this opportunity to aggravate Marcus even more. "Ha! He's right boss!" This of course made Marcus to yell at Agumon. "Quiet! I already told you I'm done with you!"
Yoshi then pointed the screen of Marcus' digivice at him, letting Agumon talk towards Marcus' face. "Oh yeah? Let's see how you defeat a Digimon without me or Leo!"
"Ha! It'll probably be easier without you just you wait and see!" Marcus back talked as he left the room.
Everyone stared at the door where Marcus left through while Agumon acted smug. "Good luck, because you'll need it."
Meanwhile:
In the city, there is a traffic jam that is caused by the traffic lights going on the fritz. During the midst of the chaos, a Digital Gate appeared with an outline of a Digimon inside the portal but not fully exiting the portal.
"Hehehehehe, so many toys to play with." Laughed the Digimon.
Also, amid the chaos, another Digital Gate opened in an alleyway showing two more Digimon. One being a bipedal canine with long claws and another being like frog-like with saw-like spikes on its back.
"So, this is the human world? Hmph, don't look any special to me." The canine Digimon said.
"Yeah, but the humans here might be fun to mess with!" Said the frog-like Digimon.
"I agree, let's go mess with them!" Both laughed as they jumped away from the alleyway to ensue more chaos in the city.
With Leo:
At the Newbery's residence, Leo is getting changed into his DATS uniform while trying to deal with his anger towards both Marcus and Agumon.
'Why must they fight! Can't they see that they need each other to even fight Digimon!' Leo ranted in his mind as he finished putting on his shoes and jacket before going out of his room and into the dining room. As he enters, he sees both of his partners eating their lunch made by his mother while his mother and sister were talking to each other.
"Keramon, Agumon-X. You guys ready to go?" Leo asked, gaining the attention of his partners as well as his family.
The two Digimon quickly swallowed their food and got out of their seats. "We're ready when you are." They both said.
Leo nodded and unclipped his Digivice and pointed it at them making both Digimon to be transferred into the Digivice. Leo then clips his Digivice around his neck and waves goodbye to his mother and sister but not noticing both of their worried looks before he left.
Time Skip:
Leo arrived at DATS HQ and released both of his partners from his Digivice before entering the control room where he sees both Miki and Megumi trying to urge Agumon out of Marcus' Digivice but were unsuccessful.
"Hello Leo." Greeted Yoshi, sitting at her desk, as she noticed Leo entered the room.
"Hi Yoshi and how long have those two been trying to get Agumon out?" Leo asked, already knowing Agumon won't be coming out anytime soon.
"*sigh* They've been trying to convince Agumon to come out after him and Marcus had another argument this morning, which caused Marcus to storm out afterwards." Yoshi explained with a defeated look on her face.
Leo looked at the orange Digivice being surrounded by both Miki and Megumi before sighing and try to help Agumon to come out. "Agumon don't you think that you're being a bit harsh?" Leo asked. "You and Marcus fight a lot of times before, but you guys always made up afterwards." Leo reasoned to Agumon but was ignored.
"Fine be that way! But don't come crying to me if Marcus gets hurt cause, you didn't help him thanks to your ego!" Leo yelled at the Digivice, picking it up and throwing it to Miki before leaving. Keramon and Agumon-X looked at each other before apologizing to everyone else as they left to make sure their Tamer is alright.
Everyone else was surprised by Leo's outburst towards Agumon while Agumon himself thought on what Leo said before pushing the thought away, deciding to continue the silent treatment.
Time Skip:
Location – Park
After storming off and given time to calm down, Leo is now sitting on a bench with both of his Digimon sitting on each side of him watching the grey clouds above, each sparing a concerned look to Leo after witnessing his two outbursts.
Keramon then grew annoyed with the silence and decided enough is enough. "Alright Leo, I think you had enough time to think. What's bothering you?" Leo jumped a little at Keramon's sudden question but then gain a sad look.
"It's nothing to worry about Keramon." Leo trying to dodge the question, but Agumon-X joined in as well. "It didn't seem like nothing to me Leo if those two outbursts had anything to say."
Leo smiled a little at his Digimon's concern for him and decided to tell them. "It's just that I'm worried what might happen to Marcus and Agumon if they don't try and make up, like I get they get on each other's nerves but never to this extent."
Agumon-X gave Leo a side hug while Keramon crossed his arms with a smirk before continuing. "I don't think there is anything to worry about Leo, they'll sort it out soon enough, but if you're really worried, I can go ahead and hit them on the head so that they realise it sooner."
Leo sweat dropped as Agumon-X nodded in agreement with Keramon before chuckling. "It's alright you guys, no need to go that far and I think that might make things worse hahaha." Both Digimon smiled as they can see and feel that their Tamer is better now before laughing along with him.
After they calmed down, Leo hugged both of his partners who returned his affection before letting go. "Thanks, you guys I really needed that you're both the best Digimon anyone could've asked for." Both smiled in reply before they were interrupted by two sinister laughs.
"HAHAHA dude can you believe this!" A mocking voice called out. "BWAHAHAHA it was so sweet that I could puke!" Another laughed out to the first voice before they continued laughing.
Leo and the Digimon backed up against each other trying to find where the voices were coming from. As the laughter continues, Leo was fed up and took matters into his hands. "Stop laughing at us and show yourselves!" But the laughter and mocking continued.
Keramon then decided to take over for Leo. "If you don't show yourselves right now then you're nothing but cowards who hide and mock others to make themselves feel good!" That stopped the laughs and mocking as silence then took over.
Soon it was broken by the first voice. "Hey Gizamon, you heard what that guy just said." It stated, revealing the second voice's name. "Yeah Gazimon, I think this guy is some sort of big shot." Gizamon said, who revealed the first voice's name.
"I think they need to be taught a lesson Gizamon." Gazimon ominously replied. "I agree Gazimon, let's beat em' up." Gizamon replied sinisterly, this caused Leo and his partners to tense up more in preparation to defend themselves.
"Spiral Saw/Gazimon Claw!" Shouted both Digimon as they jumped from their hiding spot to attack, with Gizamon curled up and spinning like a sawblade and Gazimon's claws glowing bright.
The trio dodged the attacks and grouped up quickly to fight off the two threats who are now smirking in arrogance to them. Leo took in the appearance of the attackers and suspected both to be Rookie level Digimon. "What Digimon are you guys?"
Both attackers smirked smugly before Keramon answered Leo. "The dog looking Digimon is Gazimon, a Rookie Virus type Digimon whose special attacks are 'Paralyzing Breath' and 'Gazimon Claw'. The other one is Gizamon, who is also a Rookie and Virus type Digimon whose special attacks are 'Spiral Saw' and 'Water Shot'."
Before Leo could try to stop the fight, his earpiece started to ring which Leo quickly answered as Commander Sampson's voice came out. "Leo there are two Rookie level Digimon in your area designated as Gizamon and Gazimon, do you read me."
Leo kept his eye on the two Digimon that were just mentioned. "Crystal Commander, I have already contacted both Digimon, will attempt to calm them down or turn them into Digi-Eggs." Leo then shut off his communicator so he can focus and try to calm them.
"Look I'm sorry if we somehow offended you but if you both just calm down then we can help you back to your home." Leo sincerely offered, but both Digimon just laughed and gave them evil looks.
Agumon-X and Keramon glared back before stating. "Looks like they aren't coming in quietly." Leo nodded in sadness before stepping back. "Keramon, Agumon-X, do your thing."
Both Digimon nodded in reply before charging to their opponents, with Keramon facing Gazimon and Agumon-X facing the other. "Bug Blaster/Spitfire!" Both attacks were cancelled by the Virus types who retaliated. "Paralyzing Breath/Water Shot!" A gas of paralysis and a shot of water hit Keramon and Agumon-X attacks, cancelling both sides attacks.
Gazimon and Gizamon then went on the offensive with close-range attacks. Agumon-X held his own against Gizamon 'Spiral Saw' attacks while Keramon dodged Gazimon's claw attacks by twisting and turning his nimble body away from the attacks. Eventually both sides backed away from each other with Keramon and Agumon-X standing in front of Leo.
Gazimon and Gizamon glared in anger at the trio before smirking as data start to surround them before fully covering them. Leo and his partners eyes widened in shock as they're enemy started to Digivolve.
"Gazimon digivolve too… Devidramon!" The now black Dragon-Demon roared out, spreading its black demonic wings as it glared its four blood red eyes at its foes and flexes its two red claws in preparation to maul them.
Gizamon digivolve too… Cyclomon!" The now one-eyed yellow monster roared, tensing its huge right arm of pure muscle while glaring at its foes with its one eye behind the brown bone helmet.
Leo and his Digimon stood in shock at the Digimon turned nightmares now glaring at them with Leo now shaking in fear. Keramon and Agumon-X felt Leo's fear and glared at the now huge threats that are now growling in hunger.
"Leo don't be afraid; we can take them down if only you have determination!" Agumon-X trying to raise Leo's spirit which became successful as determination now adorned his face. "You're right Agumon, we can take these guys down and we'll do it as a team!" Leo announced as red data surrounded his right hand. His Digimon nodded in agreement and glared at their foes with determination.
Digivolution: (Play 'Digimon Tamers Digivolution Theme English')
Leo's Digivice appears with the words 'Digivolution' appearing on the screen. "Digivolution." Says a robotic woman's voice as lines of red data flowed out of the Digivice and surrounded Agumon-X into an egg like shape.
"Agumon-X digivolve too…"
Agumon-X's skin then dissolved, showing a red grid and white lines underneath the skin. The camera zooms out to show the data surrounding Agumon-X shaking and moving as white sparks come out of the egg. The camera shows different scenes of Agumon-X's body growing bigger and stronger as he gets larger. More scenes appear showing orange skin with blue stripes replacing the red grid and a head, with a half complete helmet, looking towards the camera and glaring at it with red eyes. The camera shows the red data exploding and showing the new form to the world.
The dinosaur like giant skin is orange with blue stripes with an underbelly, its claws are curved like long sickles one both hands and feet. Its brown, bone like helmet has white bone spikes protruding from it like a triceratops head. The Digimon then spins around, swiping its long muscular tail at the camera, and roaring to the air.
"Greymon-X!"
(Stop music and play the Digimon Data Squad digivolution theme)
Leo's Digivice is held up with EVOLUTION popping up onto the screen. "DNA Charge!" Leo yelled as he put his hand on top of his Digivice. The screen lit up as he pointed it towards Keramon.
"Keramon digivolve to…"
Data covers Keramon and begins to change his form. He first curls up and a hardened blue exoskeleton then covers him. A red horn emerges from the head, six tendrils with huge spikes on the ends emerged from both sides of his body, and lastly a huge white spike emerges from the bottom of the shell. The data retreats again and reveals the new form.
"Chrysalimon!"
End Digivolution: (Keep the song playing)
Chrysalimon and Greymon-X glare at their opponents before roaring and charging at them. Devidramon and Cyclonemon returned the roar and charged in as well. Devidramon took to the air before dive bombing towards Chrysalimon who uses his tentacles to propel himself away from the attack, Devidramon quickly leveled itself before it hit the ground and flew to Chrysalimon with its red claws glowing crimson.
"Crimson Claw!" Devidramon roared out as it swiped its claws at Chrysalimon, whose shell took the brunt of the attack, chipping it, before capturing the dragon-demon hybrid with his tentacles and smashing it on the ground, which caused the ground to shake.
With Greymon-X and Cyclonemon, both champions are trying to use their superior strength to push the other over with no avail. Cyclonemon's mouth then began to show small embers before aiming its mouth at Greymon-X. "Hyper Heat!" A beam of extreme heat emitted from its mouth and hit Greymon-X, who couldn't react in time from the close-range attack and lost his concentration from the wrestle match.
Cyclonemon took full advantage of this and increased its strength to throw Greymon-X back while preparing another Hyper Heat. Greymon-X regain his footing and began preparing his own attack.
"Mega Flame/Hyper Heat!" Both high temperature attacks collided with each other and began a power struggle, which in turn caused both attacks to become unstable and explode, blinding both titans from each other.
Leo watched in awe at the battle before noticing something. "They're all evenly matched in power and strength if this continues then they'll destroy each other! I need to find a way to help my Digimon!" Leo struggles to think of something before getting an idea. "Chrysalimon, Greymon-X swap your opponents with each other!"
Both Champions heard their tamers idea and nodded to each other before swapping places. When both Virus Digimon regained their vision and balance, they didn't expect to find that their foes swapped targets before ignoring it and charging in for round 2.
Devidramon again took to the air before facing Greymon-X and began to gather power to its mouth. "Demonic Gale!" A dark electrical storm was unleashed from its mouth, which began racing towards the X-Antibody holder dodged the attack but was then body slammed by the demon dragon, who began to try and get away.
Greymon-X quickly bit down on his foe and used his powerful neck muscles to toss Devidramon away and prepared his most powerful attack. Devidramon was dazed before refocusing on the battle but was unprepared for the attack.
"Mega Burst!" An ultra-high enhanced Mega Flame exhaled from Greymon-X's mouth and enveloped Devidramon in a jet of flames at ultra-high temperatures, which made the dragon demon Digimon to roar out in intense pain before dissolving into data and reforming itself as a Digi-Egg. Greymon-X stopped the attack and roared out in victory before turning around to help his teammate.
At the same time Chrysalimon has entrapped Cyclomon in his tentacles while the trapped Digimon tried to use its strength to break free. Chrysalimon tossed Cyclonemon into the ground before retreating his tentacles back to him. Cyclonemon, now enraged, charged out of its crater at high speeds towards Chrysalimon with its right arm glowing red and emitting steam.
"Arm Bomber!" Chrysalimon's shell again took a massive hit and began to crack before being tossed away. Cyclonemon, still enraged, charged again before being head slammed away by a charging Greymon-X, before helping Chrysalimon back up.
"Chrysalimon, try and keep it still while I prepare another attack to end it." The dino said. "I'll try but I won't be able to hold it for long." Chrysalimon replied as he went up to Cyclonemon.
"Data Crusher!" Chrysalimon's spiked tentacles stabbed and wrapped around the now struggling Digimon before lifting it up. Greymon-X prepared another Mega Burst before aiming at the muscle bound Digimon. "Chrysalimon, now! Mega Burst!"
As soon as Chrysalimon heard the signal, he tossed Cyclonemon towards the raging inferno before unleashing his own attack. "Misconnecting!" Deadly purple energy shot from the tips of his tentacles and raced to their opponent.
The combination of the two attacks was enough to destroy Cyclonemon, whose data reformed back into a Digi-Egg. The victors roared in victory before glowing brightly and turning back into Keramon and Agumon-X.
(End music)
Leo approached his partners with one of the Digi-Eggs, hugging them before picking up the second egg. "You guys were awesome and worked so well together, I'm glad to have such powerful and wonderful partners."
The Digimon smiled at each other as Keramon replied. "Yeah, we were awesome but without your idea Leo, we might not have been able to win." Agumon-X nodded his head before replying. "Yeah, so don't sell yourself short as you were awesome as well."
Leo gave a big smile before hearing a car park near them. Yoshi and Thomas exited the car as Leo and his Digimon came up to them with the Digi-Eggs. "You guys were excellent in taking on two champions at once, I'm extremely proud of you." Yoshi congratulated them before taking the eggs and loaded them in the car.
"I agree with Yoshi but next time try and wait for backup if you can, overall, you did well in controlling the situation." Thomas smiled and patted Leo's head before getting back into the car.
As the DATS members got in the car, they received a call from HQ. "Agents! Another Digimon has been spotted over at the broadcast station! Head over there as fast as you can!" All of them gained serious looks, with Yoshi already driving to the location while answering. "We're on it Commander!"
