Tigger groaned as the sunlight shown down on his face, disturbing his slumber.
"Ugh…too early for sun.", he grumbled as he rolled over onto his front.
"ACK!", Tigger gasped, jolting into wakefulness as salt water filled his mouth and nose.
He splashed about in shock, his eyes darting this way and that as he tried to get his bearings.
"Water.", Tigger said, looking about at the vast expanse of water he now floated in. "Water."
He grabbed a board as it floated by, resting wearily on the makeshift flotation device.
Tigger scanned the flotsam-filled area about him, searching for the others.
Finding himself alone, he began swimming forwards, hoping to come across his friends.
After a few minutes of paddling along, he spotted Rabbit seated atop a crate as it bobbed up and down in the gently rising and falling waves.
Hey, its longears, Tigger thought excitedly as he pulled himself up into a bouncing position. I'm comin' for ya bunny boy!
Boing!
Crash!
Splash!
"TIGGER!", Rabbit exclaimed as he resurfaced after being bounced into the water. "There you are!"
"Hi ya bunny boy.", Tigger said as he floated next to Rabbit, each happy see each other.
"Have you seen anyone else?", Rabbit asked as he and Tigger climbed onto the crate.
"Owl!", Tigger replied loudly, pointing at the sky behind Rabbit, causing him to turn about.
"Ah, there you are.", Owl said as he hovered over the two of them. "We've been wondering when you would arrive."
"You've seen the others?", Rabbit asked and Owl nodded.
"Yes, they're right over this way.", Owl said, turning to his right. "Or was it that way?"
