Kyoko tried to hide her laugh when she saw Gokudera and Haru in matching outfits at a competition between their schools. It was a science competition and of course the two could not dress like the rest of their teammates instead both were in their school colours with black leather jackets, Haru had on a light blue corset with darker blue butterflies in the lace, black leather pants and a pair of blue stilettos; Hayato had his own jacket on with a light blue shirt on and black jeans and dark blue shoes.
She had to condemn them for being able to pull off their school colours but next to the 3 others on their team in simple t-shirts with their school logo and simple pants and shoes, they looked ridiculous. However it also seemed to be having an effect on her school's team.
She could not help noticing Haru wore her hair down more often and had on some light makeup. Nor could she ignore the small looks they gave one another, small looks that most people would not pick up on. Most people, their group was not most people.
The competition between the schools began when Kyoko considered cheering her own school on but her friends were more fun and more aware of her and everyone else who came with her, which made the two on stage more aware of their actions.
"Does anyone understand what is happening?" Yamamoto asked after a while, rounds of shrugs and no were said in response.
"I think Tokyo U is winning though." Tsuna said after his own shrug.
"X=8.9654" Haru's voice brought their attention back to the stage where they noticed Hayato trying to hide his hand on her knee under the table with no cloth.
"Correct." The mc said.
By the end of the competition Tokyo U won by a landslide. Kyoko and the others went to hunt down their friends to congratulate them.
"Come on Haru, we won. I should get a congratulatory kiss, or maybe something more."
"In your dreams Rinsuke." Haru responded before trying to walk away, Rinsuke grabbed her arm though, but before any damage could be done his arm was snapped in half by Gokudera. Who looked out of blood.
"She said no."
Rinsuke held his arm close to him before responding.
"Dude you aren't even dating her. What's your problem?"
Hayato glared at him in response.
"He was helping me before you broke my arm. I'm a gymnast, you idiot." Haru seethed.
Gokudera wrapped an arm around her waist protectively before walking away the other two members of their team glaring and shaking their heads.
"Rinsuke, even if they aren't dating. Haru is Hayato's, you don't try to come between them unless you have a death wish." The shorter girl said.
Kyoko at that moment chose to call out to Haru causing the two friends to separate like a bullet suddenly went between them.
