Chapter 2: Even if your life has changed, a loss can repeatedly strike

"Please, Please!"

"Excuse me! Sorry!"

"Please God! Please!"

"Please, Get out of the way!"

Izuku warned loudly yet apologetically to the few pedestrians, who were walking in front or behind him as he was running and avoiding them in a hurry.

The way that izuku was running isn't like the instinct to save someone from a villain that he had earlier, it's more of running in a hurry for an important loved one who got hurt and unconscious and got sent to the hospital.

God, Kami, or any Gods that may be true like the God Of Thunder Hero, Thor! Please, I beg of you not her! Anyone but Mom!" Izuku desperately thought with a terrified expression on his sweaty face.

Fifteen minutes ago izuku got a call from Mr. Wong, his mom's boss, informing him that his mom sacrifice herself to push a child's life from getting crashed by a car in the middle of the road. To that sacrifice, she was sent to masutafu hospital to be treated.

That was fifteen minutes ago that Izuku got the call and he never stopped running aside for the pedestrian signal that he has no choice but to follow since he has to be with his mom.

By the time Izuku finally arrived outside Masutafu Hospital, he immediately bent down to catch a breath from the long run. His glasses are fogged up, and his forehead to neck dripping from the sweat wanting a glass of water.

"What is the situation!"

"Inko midoriya, Female, green hair, weighs 140 pounds, a car ran into her with full force. From what I heard from her boss at the restaurant, she had to push a male child in the middle of the road to save him.

When Izuku heard his paramedic describing his mom, he immediately looked up and saw the ambulance car already parked at the same time the paramedics pushed the gurney with his mom on it, inside the emergency entrance. The doctor and nurses are with her.

"Mom!" Izuku cried out as he came running toward his mom. When izuku immediately went inside to stand next to her, he saw his mom bruised and bloodied from the incident causing him to want to tear up.

"Mom, it's me! Izuku! I'm here! Can you hear me, I heard what happened, alright!" Izuku cries out with tears starting to form then starts streaming down his cheeks before the female nurse with a cattle mutant quirk stops him from going further straight to the trauma bay.

"I am sorry, young man, You can't come inside the bay where your mom is" The nurse professionally said. "The doctors will be the ones helping her. In the meantime wait in the waiting room for a while until one of them will tell you what's going to about your mother"

"I understand," Izuku replied with a nod before clenching his hands slightly as he didn't want to argue back.

"also I advice that you have a glass of water, you look dehydrated since you came all this way." The nurse advised, seeing the green haired student looking all sweaty and dehydrated as well as his uniform was slightly dirty.

"I will" Izuku replied with a nod, seeing the nurse turn from him so she could head inside to the operating room where the doctor and nurses were there with his mom.

After the nurse went in, Izuku drank water as he was instructed.

It felt like an hour or two for Izuku as he sat on a comfy chair, silently while he was hugging his chair infront while avoiding people around him who were busy like the doctors, nurses or receptionist are busy. A few people less than four were there as well, sitting or talking on the phone.

Even though izuku was there, he hasn't napped, eaten snacks or used his phone for distraction but he was prayed. Prayed and pleaded for his mom to stay alive to whatever god that is alive out there in space or heavens and lose to the parent that he only had left in this world.

You see his dad, Hisashi Midoriya died seven years ago when izuku was just six years old. Izuku really doesn't know how his dad died but from what he was told by his mom his death was caused by an act of a heroic deed.

After his death, his mom decided to step up to become the breadwinner of the household and working her best to be an amazing mother to izuku as a single mother.

But now that his mom in the hospital, what would happen his mom died, what would happen to him? Would he get transfered to an orphanages or foster family that won't be nice or generous to him since he is quirkless. Will izuku stay with his mom's friend whose son will beat him up relentlessly.

Even though Izuku is intelligent, will he end up on the street with villains who might kill him or rape him? Or selling his family's belonging in order to survive in the streets

Those unsettling questions in not something that izuku wanted to think about right now.

"You're inko Midoriya's son, right"

Izuku heard a male voice talking to him then looked up to see a Doctor in front of him, who was wearing green scrubs.

"Yes! That's me, izuku Midoriya!" Izuku swiftly stood up from his chair.

"Are you one of the doctors that are helping my mom? Is the operation finally done, is my mom alive and alright" Izuku asked with a hopeful look that his prayers will be answered.

But the look that the doctor is giving to him is something that he didn't want.

"I am sorry, i truly am and we tried our best but your mom … "

Just like that, izuku felt time go so slow, and he couldn't hear the sound that surrounded him except the words that came from the doctor's mouth is.

"Died"
