Hello and Dubai

Last time on the Ridoncolous Race, our teams took a blistering stroll through Hawaii. The Surfer Dudes showed some love as they took first place, Joseé found a new good-luck charm, and LeShawna got over the Daters' elimination, realizing it wasn't her fault.

But the eyes were on the Mother and daughter team. After losing the leg, Kelly told Taylor she wasn't that chiplote after all, creating an ugly rift between them, which was pretty funny when we told them it was a non-elimination round, you must have seen the joy on their faces. Let the madness continue. This is The Ridoncolous Race.

Yesterday chill zone is today's starting line. The teams say aloha to Hawaii and go to their next destination, departing in the order they finished yesterday, so the Reality TV Pros would start in third.

"I wish we could finish the leg away from the Ice dancers," said LeShawna, trying to ignore the glares from Jacques and Joseé. "These last placements, we're always one after the other."

Tyler looked behind them and waved at the Olympic team, the ice dancer scoffing at him. "I don't think that's a bad thing. It just means we're two of the best teams. We probably will be fighting against them for the prize money."

LeShawna just chuckled at her teammate's optimism just as Don started the leg. After a moment, the sista pushed the button and read the tip.

"Go to the airport and take a flight to Dubai. Once there, make your way to the Burj Al Arab, the only 7 stars hotel in the world, to find the next Don Box," LeShawna smiled, "Oh yeah baby, we're going to Dubai."

"Dubai?" asked Tyler rubbing his chin. "Is that a place in Saskatchewan?"

The sista blinked a couple of times. "Sugar, I don't know what you're talking about. Let's go!"

The teams went and took different cabs toward Honolulu's airport. Once there, the ice dancers and the Real Reality TV Pros elbowed each other on the way to the ticket counter.

"Get out of our way celebrity has-beens," said Joseé glaring at LeShawna.

"YOU get out of MY way," replied the sista, elbowing the ice dancer so hard that she winced in pain.

Jacques intentionally hit Tyler on the shoulder. "Sorry, I didn't see you."

"No problem bro just be careful. Because you may end up hurting yourself against my steel body," said Tyler, winking. The Ice dancer didn't know how to reply.

Both teams arrived at the front desk, where other teams were already waiting for their tickets.

"Flight leaving now has twelve seats, the rest will have to leave on the next flight," said the airport employee, making all the teams cheer, including Father and Son, who were the last teams in the queue.

"Hahaha, We made it!" shouted Dwayne enthusiastically.

But Junior was looking at the ground, frowning. "Count again."

The father then counted the teams in front of him, "Two, four, eight, … darn it." He added, facepalming.

"Already tied for last, yay," said Junior, his voice filled with disappointment.

"Don't count us out yet kiddo. Last time, we were also in the last plane and still saved it," said Dwayne, laughing nervously.

The following six teams: Real reality tv pros, Ice dancers, Surfer dudes, Best friends, The sisters, and the genius, boarded the first plane. Geoff and Brody, for winning first place in the last leg, got first-class tickets, which included a hot tube and freshly baked cookies.

Brody looked at LeShawna, but the stewardess hurried the other teams out of the first class, which especially annoyed the ice dancers.

"Ugh, that hot tube should be ours! How did we end on fourth?" shouted Jacques in an angry voice.

Tyler looked at him while sitting next to LeShawna. "Those ice dancers are always so energetic."

"Be careful with them. They're playing dirty," said the sista, getting comfy in her seat.

Suddenly both tv pros were startled by the sounds of heavy objects hitting the floor and groans of pain. It seemed one of the bins over the seats opened and let all the contents fall over Jacque's head.

"See! I told you bins may open and hit you just like that," said Tyler smiling proudly.

"And I thought those things only happened to you," said LeShawna, blinking a couple of times, not believing what had happened.

The flight to Emirates was long, and without the surfer dudes, the Real Reality TV Pros didn't have any team that would want to talk with them. So LeShawna and Tyler slept most of the trip.

But other teams did talk among them. For example, the sisters had a discussion, the Genius sitting in the row behind them.

"I'm telling you they're nice people," said Kitty in a high-pitched voice, "Why you don't believe me?"

"Because you're too naïve, those two scoundrels play dirty to get the best placements," said Emma rolling her eyes. "Like in Paris or in Brazil. You just want to justify them because you like how they did in a tv show."

Kitty rolled her eyes. "Even if I liked LeShawna and Tyler since they were in Celebrity Stunt Driving, I'm not being partial. Tyler saved me from a shark in Hawaii!"

"Are you sure? Maybe you imagined it," said Emma, frowning,

"Of course I'm sure, it was a SHARK, and he headbutted it," said Kitty crossing her arms.

Emma scoffed. "Ok, let's say that guy hit a shark. We can't be sure he did it to save you."

"Really? The shark was chasing me, Tyler hit it, and you say it wasn't to save me?" said Kitty, putting a hand over her chest. "What would he win from attacking a shark that was ignoring him?"

"Maybe it was an accident," Emma shrugged.

Kitty let out a groan of frustration before both sisters were interrupted.

"I hate to intrude into your debate, but I have some new information that can help elucidate this conundrum," said Ellody, adjusting her glasses.

Emma and Kitty looked at each other before looking at the genius, not sure what she wanted to say.

"During the preceding challenge, Mr. Tyler took his time to succor me while I was tussling to arrive at the bay. And he did it without me appealing to him in any way or form," said Ellody adjusting her glasses.

"Well, maybe your deplorable visage during the ordeal woke up his protective instincts, and he decided to assist you in order to quelch his evolutionary predisposition," said Mary, rubbing her chin.

Ellody nodded. "Your theory is correct, then I correct myself. I didn't appeal to him in any conscious or voluntary way. But the result was the same, he assisted me without any plead or asking any restitution."

"Maybe it was a coincidence. We don't have enough evidence to prove he is a good person," said Emma, crossing her arms.

"But either way, we don't have enough data to probe the antithesis," said Mary nodding. "We need to keep watching their behavior before making a decision."

Emma nodded while Kitty looked at the geniuses and her sister with wide eyes.

Team confessional: Another language

"Wow Emma, I can't believe you understood them," said Kitty, her eyes sparkling.

"It's not that hard, they use big words. In Law school you find a lot of sources that also use technical language so I already knew most of them," said Emma nodding.

Kitty laughed. "I can't believe you talk nerd that fluently."

"I didn't, and I'm not a nerd."

"Hahaha, of course not Emma."

" .NOT!" repeated the older sister, frowning.

Kitty kept laughing as Emma stood up and left the confessional room. "Oh my gosh, she would be happier if she accepted her nerd side."

While the first six teams were on their way to Dubai, the seven remaining ones had to wait 1 hour to depart.

"I can't believe those reality TV losers and the Ice duncers are in the first flight, and we're in the second," said MacArthur, lying on some seats at the airport. "Sanders, we need to improve our game."

"I know," said Sanders rolling her eyes. "And please use only 1 seat. This place isn't made to lie like that." She then put her hands on her hips. "And didn't you say that Tyler wasn't that bad? Why do you keep calling them Reality TV Losers?"

MacArthur laughed aloud, holding her stomach. "Because it sounds funnier."

While the younger police cadet deadpanned at her partner, they were interrupted by another team.

"Greeting kingdom guards," said Leonard waving.

Tammy played a melody on her ocarina, nodding toward the cadets.

"Are you high?" asked MacArthur, Sanders elbowing her. "Ouch, can you share some with me?" Sanders elbowed her harder. "Ouch!"

"Eh, no, we don't do drugs, mundane or magical," said Leonard crossing his arms.

Tammy nodded. "Drugs ruin your mana and can affect your magical circuit."

"And also cause addiction, may cause health problems, and overdose can be dangerous," said Sanders, frowning.

"Yes that too," said Tammy, playing her ocarina again.

Leonard talked while his partner played. "We came to propose you a guard-mages alliance to control this game and arrive together to the finale!"

"Hahahaha," MacArthur laughed so much that she fell from her seats, holding her sides. "Hahahahaha."

"I don't think what I said was that funny," whispered Leonard to Tammy.

"Maybe she found the alliance name amusing," replied Tammy, shrugging.

Sanders gave her teammate a death glare. After 30 seconds, the chubby cadet stopped laughing.

"What? Are you serious?" asked MacArthur.

Now the Larpers were also giving her a death glare.

"Ok, ok," The older police cadet raised her hand and cleared her throat. "What's for us in this alliance?"

"Well, we can use our magic powers to help you advance in the game," said Leonard, covering half his face with one of his robe's sleeves.

Sanders deadpanned. "Ok, show us some magic."

"Of course," said Leonard smiling. "Tammy, can you confirm if there is anything in my sleeves?"

"No, there is nothing hidden in your sleeves," said Tammy, smiling.

Leonard took out his wand and waved in the air.

"Mysticus Magicus Appare!" shouted Leonard, pointing at Sanders. He then took a coin from behind her ear.

"Wow, that was kind of cool," said Sanders, clapping.

MacArthur made a wide smile. "Can you make a wad of bills appear?"

"MacArthur!" shouted Sanders, crossing her arms.

Leonard rubbed his neck. "No, sorry, I can't appear wads, but maybe a ring."

"A diamond ring?" asked Macarthur, looking serious.

"No, a brass ring," said Leonard looking at the floor.

Tammy walked in front of the wizard. "But it's a pretty cool ring."

"Ok, forget about appearing things. Can you shock people with your magic?" asked MacArthur, scoffing.

"MACARTHUR!" shouted Sanders in a louder tone.

Leonard began to sweat profusely. "You mean like the shocking grasp spell?"

"Yes, I guess. For example, shock one of the twins," said MacArthur, pointing at the adversity twins. "The one with the helmet, for example. If he falls unconscious, he won't hurt his head."

"I'm not sure. They seem fragile," said Leonard, gulping.

MacArthur patted her foot impatiently. "Then one of the loud brothers. The brunette one seems strong. Give him a good shock."

"Sorry, I can't use my magic to hurt other people," said the wizard lowering his arms.

"You can't?" asked MacArthur, raising an eyebrow.

Leonard and Tammy both shook their heads solemnly.

"You know what… I think it's not that you don't want but that you can't, so no magic, no alliance. Let's go Sanders," said MacArthur, leaving the Larpers looking sadly at the ground.

Team Confessional: Unbelievable.

"First LeShawna and then this police officer. Why they can't understand magic need they believe in me to work," said Leonard throwing his arms into the air.

"Yes, asking you to shock other teams was very chaotic evil. Getting shocked hurts," said Tammy folding her arms.

Leonard nodded, hiding his hands on his sleeves. "But sadly, with them, most teams have refused our offer to form an alliance."

Tammy took off a notebook and a small pair of glasses. "We still have to ask the Ice dancers and Mother and daughter," she read from the notebook.

"And you want to form an alliance with any of them?" asked Leonard.

"I rather not," replied Tammy, closing her notebook.

Both Larpers sighed, looking at the ground.

"I guess we need to try the unbeliever again," said Leonard, Tammy nodding next to him.

Team Confessional: Hocus pocus isn't real, right?

"Hahaha, those two nerds were pretty funny," said MacArthur, laughing loudly.

"Yes, their tricks were entertaining. Why did you ask them to shock another team?" asked Sanders, raising an eyebrow.

MacArthur stopped laughing, looking seriously at Sanders, "because I didn't want to refuse their offer if they could shock me."

"Excuse me?"

"Yes, what if they could use real magic, and we refused their offer? We would be at the wrong end of that weird magic wand," said MacArthur with wide eyes, but then she smirked. "Luckily, they said they can't use their magic to hurt people. Hahaha, idiots."

"You know magic isn't real, right?" asked Sanders, raising an eyebrow.

"And even if it's real they can't use it against people, so it's a win/win for us," said the police cadet, chuckling. Sanders looked at her with a worried expression.

The second flight to Abu Dabi departed with the remaining teams. Inside, Mother and Daughter having some issues.

"I can't believe all my trophies are a lie, Mom. You ruined my life," said Taylor, looking out of the plane's window.

"Honey, I feel terrible about this," said Kelly, frowning.

Taylor crossed her arms and glared at her. "Mom, I need some space. I'm giving you a time-out."

"I'm not sure it works like that," said Kelly.

But Taylor, instead of replying, began to hold her breath like a 5-year-old kid.

"Ok, sure," said the Mother, walking the aisle and looking for a free seat. After some steps, she found one next to Dwayne and Junior.

"Hi there, is this seat taken," said Kelly, smiling.

"Oh no, hehe," Dwayne chuckled nervously. "The seat isn't taken but I am. I'm married."

Junior sighed. "He isn't into you, Dad."

"Oh, sorry," said Dwayne looking at the floor.

"No problem," Kelly smiled and sat next to him. "I'm just having some family issues. Right now. It all started back when Taylor…"

Team confessional: Alliance

"Play our cards right pal, and this could be our first alliance," said Dwayne, rubbing Junior's chin. "great, eh?"

"Ah? Have you seen them?" Junior groaned, not happy with the alliance idea.

The worst part was that Kelly kept talking about Taylor's issues for most of the 17 hours the flight took to arrive in Dubai.

While Dwayne and Junior suffered, the first plane arrived at Dubai Airport, and the 6 teams boarded a shuttle bus to the Burj Al Arab. They rushed down and pressed the button of the Don Box.

"Either/Or serve or squeegees: teams can either return one serve each from the world's toughest ball launcher the Tennis Menace at the roof. Or wash an entire column of windows from the top-down of the Burj Al Arab," read LeShawna, smiling.

"YEAH! Let's go for serve!" shouted Tyler raising both arms.

"I'm not sure," said LeShawna rubbing her chin. "But again, I HATE cleaning windows, so serve it is."

The genius and the Sisters went to the squeegees while the other 4 teams went to meet the tennis menace. Brody held his racket with confidence, being the first to challenge it.

"Go Brody, you got this!" shouted Geoff, supporting his teammate.

"No pro bro, I got this."

"YOU GOT THIS!"

"YES I GOT THIS!"

However, the tennis machine began to shoot balls like a machine gun. Brody, terrified, covered his head and ran away from the court, "I don't got this!"

The best friends looked at them with wide eyes.

"I know it's a bit scary, but whatever happens, I believe in you," said Devin pushing Carrie gently.

The blonde girl smiled confidently, waiting for the machine to serve the ball.

Sadly Devin continued talking. "Anyway, Shelly hangs out with her tennis instructor like ALL the time. And she says tennis is a mental game."

The sole mention of Shelly distracted Carrie, and the machine hit the racket off her hands.

"This machine difficulty seems just right," said Tyler, twirling the racket in one hand. "I'll go first."

"Yes, show us how good you're," Jacques said while discretely tripping the jock.

Tyler fell into the court face first, the machine shooting at him. But he accidentally waved his racket and hit one ball to the other side of the net.

The Ice dancers' jaws dropped while the surfer dudes and LeShawna celebrated.

"How? Why?" shouted Jacques, blinking.

"Those has-beens are pretty lucky," said Joseé, kissing her lava rock. "But just wait."

Of course, Joseé didn't suspect that Tyler's performance was probably influenced by her 'lucky' charm.

While the teams struggled in the field, the second flight was about to arrive at Dubai's airport. Junior had his headphones on, hearing music, and ignoring the adults at his side. Dwayne listened to Kelly's complaints.

"And after she crashed her third sports car, I wanted to cut up her credit cards but, y'know, I just knew she'd steal mine! That's parenting, right?" said Kelly, smiling at the memories.

"Oh, I guess parenting teenagers is more challenging," said Dwayne, shrugging, already tired of the endless anecdotes about Taylor's rude behavior.

Kelly chuckled nervously. "Oh, no, no, no, this happened when she was ten. The real drama started when she was twelve."

Dwayne gasped in shock. "Kelly, the problem here is that Taylor doesn't have proper boundaries. You need to show her there are limits."

"But, then she would hate me. I entered the race to become closer to her," said Kelly, lowering her eyebrows.

The father shook his face. "You can be her mother and her friend, but if you don't stop her now, she'll become spoiled rotten, and then she won't be a good daughter or friend…"

"How dare…" Kelly lashed out but then stopped. "I mean, let me think about it."

And saying this, she ran away, not hearing what Dwayne had to say.

Team confessional: Alliance

"Maybe those girls aren't the best team to make an Alliance with," said Dwayne, rubbing his chin.

"Yeah," said Junior, still hearing music.

As this happened, the genius and the sisters looked at the column of more than 100 windows they had to clean. The wind was so strong that it pushed the girls a little. The sisters were already washing while the Geniuses were making some calculations in a notebook.

"Maybe we should stop and think how to clean these faster," said Kitty, wiping a window. Then a gust of wind made both sisters hold tight to the platform.

"While they make their useless plan, we have already cleaned three windows," Emma rolled her eyes while reading the scaffold manual. "So now focus, we need to pull these levers at the same time to lower the platform, ok?"

"Why would they design it like that?" asked Kitty, still holding to the platform.

"Why would they put a tennis court on the roof?" asked Emma in a sarcastic tone. "Now pull it at the count of three: one, two…"

The platform started to lower slowly, but suddenly Emma's side lowered more, titling the platform and making both sisters hang off the edge.

"I gonna say this is your fault," said Emma, looking at her sister.

"Of course you are," replied Kitty, deadpanning at her sister.

As they struggled, the 7 remaining teams arrived at the hotel and began to take their tips. The 14 people then watched Emma and Kitty hanging on the platform.

"Serve!" decided all the teams at the same time, running to the tennis court on the roof.

However, things on the roof weren't going as smoothly as expected. So far, only Tyler has returned the machine service.

"Well, at least here we don't have to deal with life-threatening nose bleeds," said Mickey, chuckling.

"Yeah, I have the feeling we can beat this challenge," Jay proudly added.

However, the tennis menace shot a barrage against Geoff, who couldn't hit any. A wild ball hit Mickey in the nose knocking him down.

"Does someone has tissues?" asked Jay. Tammy gave him a pack of paper tissues while the ball that hit Mickey crossed over the net.

"We now have two people who hit the ball back," narrated Don.

The new teams cowered in front of the ball barrage. Well, most of them.

"Wow, cool!" said Junior, looking at the machine.

"We'll go clean the windows," said Dwayne, smiling nervously, while Junior groaned.

Kelly nodded. "Us too."

"Mom, why?" asked Taylor rolling her eyes. "I win like a bazillion tennis troph…"

The spoiled girl stopped talking after realizing the forced smile on Kelly's face.

"Bwuhuhu, you ruined my life," said Taylor, glaring at her Mother.

"She only ruined your life until now. The rest depends on what you choose," said Tammy, playing her ocarina.

Leonard nodded. "Heroes aren't those who fight against fate but those who create it. And we're cleaning windows too."

"Sorry, I don't talk nerd," said Taylor, shooing the larpers.

On the court, Jacques was trying to take his turn. "SILENCE! I'm trying to perform."

"Oh yeah," said Devin in a snarky tone. "Good luck."

Jacques glared at the best friend and then at the ball. Using his anger, the ice dancer hit the ball, being the third contestant to do it.

"And I'll shut up," replied Devin, lowering his eyebrows.

"Oh, excellent idea," said Jacques, mocking the best friend. "Now watch it, you may learn something."

Joseé entered the court, kissed her lava rock, and held her racket.

Sadly, a seagull perched on her head before the machine fired the first serve. Joseé waved at it and missed her timing, the balls passing fast around her.

"What? Interference!" shouted Joseé, looking backward when a ball hit her head, knocking her down.

"Uhuhu, better look next time," said Devin, smiling.

Jacques ran toward his teammate's side to be sure she was ok.

"Joseé, we're quitting. We're never making podium waiting in line, let's switch to windows," said Jaques, carrying Joseé bridal style.

"Ok, but after we win, I'm throwing a massive tantrum," said Joseé, glaring.

As the Ice dancers went out of the court, it was LeShawna's turn.

"Don't worry Lesh, you can do it," shouted Tyler.

"YES LESHAWNA! YOU GOT THIS!" shouted Brody.

"Talking about pressure," said LeShawna, looking nervously at the machine.

"HAHAHA, C'mon, she would need a snow shovel to have a chance," shouted MacArthur, laughing.

LeShawna held the racket tighter, her eyes burning. "A snow shovel, eh?"

The machine fired at the sista, who hit the ball back, making a dent in the ground.

LeShawna raised her arms victoriously while some of the other contestants clapped.

"Wow, LeShawna, that was wicked," Tyler high-fived her.

"I know sugar. Now let's go," said LeShawna, winking. "Good luck Brody and Geoff."

LeShawna smiled mockingly at MacArthur after saying goodbye to the surfer dudes, the police officer smirking.

"Damn girl, she's good," said MacArthur cracking her knuckles. "Well, otherwise, it won't be so satisfying to crush her."

"Can you focus on the challenge? We can think about crushing other teams once we have survived this leg," said Sanders, crossing her arms.

Many teams were cleaning the windows, including the sisters, Geniuses, Ice dancers, Father and Son, Fashion bloggers, Mother and daughter and the Larpers. Of them, The sisters were the ones who were further away, and the Ice dancers were the ones doing the best job.

Dwayne was cleaning his window, chuckling.

"You know, son, the trick to use the squeegee is…"

"To wipe the window?" asked Junior, finishing cleaning his side of the window.

"Hehehe, yes, you're a fast learner," said Dwayne, smiling.

From another scaffold, Kelly looked at them with envy.

"How is it that they get along so well…" wondered Kelly, looking at them intently.

"Mom, keep moving. These windows won't clean themselves," said Taylor, glaring at her Mother.

"On it, honey," said Kelly, holding her squeegee. "But focus on cleaning your side."

Taylor rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me what to do."

Some windows below Tom and Jen cleaned the windows happily.

Team confessional: Cleaning windows

"I want to be clear, I hate like cleaning windows and that kind of stuff," said Jen, rolling her eyes.

"But we hate a lot more getting hit by tennis balls," Tom closed his eyes, winced and nodded.

Jen made a huge smile. "Not only that, but Tom here is pretty bad at tennis."

"I'm not bad, it's more a matter of principles," said Tom putting a hand on his forehead. "I don't like those tennis outfits. I mean the shorts are fine, but usually, their color doesn't match the rackets."

"So, no tennis for us," said Jen waving her hand.

Tom nodded. "Totally. And when I get famous, I'll design a racket and outfit match so people can learn to play tennis and still look good."

"That's so awesome! I'm sure that idea has more future than the fezes," said Jen, clapping.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Tom, frowning.

As the teams were cleaning, the sisters looked upwards with proud smiles.

"Ok, there are less than 40 windows, I think we can win this," said Emma, drying her sweat with her arm.

"I'm not sure, look," said Kitty, pointing upwards.

The ice dancers cleaned their windows quickly, but Kitty pointed at the Genius. They were going faster than any team cleaning and lowering the platform extremely fast.

"That's impossible," said Emma, her jaw-dropping.

Team confessional: There are no impossibles for science.

"It seems our opponents don't study the concept of planning to save operation time," said Ellody, smiling.

"It's obvious they don't, or their performance would be more efficient," said Mary, snorting and laughing.

"Basically, before executing the challenge, we calculated the optimal way to clean the windows," Ellody showed a notebook with a graph.

Mary enumerated with her fingers what they calculated. "Number of swipes per window, how much cleaning agent to use, the best way to pull the levers in the scaffold…"

"Basically, we can clean each window in under 10 seconds," said Ellody, offering Mary a fist bump.

"Brains win again," said Mary, who then attempted to fist-bump Ellody but failed to hit her fist

After 2 attempts, the Genius fist-bumped and laughed happily.

"Kitty, we need to hurry before those weird girls pass us. I want this first place," said Emma, who, in a moment, finished cleaning the window.

Kitty sighed, looking at the ground. "I really don't want to tell you this but…"

Emma then looked down and saw Tyler and LeShawna going out of the hotel and pressing the Don box's top.

"Darn it," said Emma, stomping her foot and making the platform shake wildly.

The TV Pros ignored this drama, instead LeShawna read the new travel tip. "Finding Gold: Find the Chill Zone inside the gold Souk."

"Awesome!" shouted Tyler, raising a fist. "Let's go to the gold Souk."

LeShawna blinked a couple of times. "Sugar, do you know what's a gold souk?"

"No."

"Figures."

"But it sounds awesome, so what are we waiting for!?" shouted Tyler, running toward the taxi station

LeShawna chuckled and followed him. "Typical Tyler."

Both boarded the taxi, getting dirty glares from Emma and the Ice dancers.

The Real Reality TV Pros took over 30 minutes to arrive at the Gold Souk. And it wasn't anything like they imagined.

The place was like a marketplace. The narrow streets had a lot of stalls and shops, with many tourists walking around. But the most surprising thing was what they were selling.

Most of the stalls and stores were selling gold items. From simple necklaces to elaborate tiaras. Clocks, earrings, rings, and clothes embedded with gold.

"Wow, this is the dream of an outlaw!" said Tyler, looking around with wide eyes.

"WHAT?" LeShawna quickly covered his mouth, looking at him with wide eyes. "Are you crazy? Is that the first thing that came to your mind?"

Tyler looked at the ground lowering his eyebrows. "Sorry, but it reminds me of those cowboys' stories in which the outlaws were always stealing gold."

"Well, keep that to yourself, at least until we're in the hotel, ok?" said LeShawna putting a hand on her hip.

"Do you think I can buy something for Linds?" said Tyler, looking around with a big smile. "I'm sure she would love a ring or a necklace."

LeShawna held him by the hand. "Oh no, you don't. Let's find the chill zone first, and then you can buy something for your lovely girlfriend."

"To be honest, I …" said Tyler, looking sadly at the ground.

"You said what?" LeShawna looked at him with wide eyes, feeling like she had just received a kick in her stomach.

"I-It's a long story," said Tyler sighing.

LeShawna had a bad feeling but didn't insist. "Let's finish this damn leg, and then tell me what happened."

Tyler sniffed and smiled. "Ok, maybe we can ask in one of the stores. What about the RR store over there?"

"Ty, you're a genius!" said Leshawna running toward the store. "Look, Don is inside!"

"Great, he will surely know where we can find the chill zone," said Tyler, running behind her.

Don looked at them and opened his arms. "Congratulations Real Reality TV Pros, you're in first place."

Both LeShawna and Tyler high-fived.

"C'mon Don give me five," said Tyler, raising his hand.

"I shouldn't…" but Tyler grabbed the host's hand and high-fived him.

"Awesome!" shouted Tyler, raising both arms.

Don rubbed his wrist. "Yes, but NEVER touch me again without my permission, ok?"

"Hehe, ok," Tyler made a sheepish smile.

"Now let's go. We need to find a quiet place to talk," said LeShawna, pulling Tyler away.

"But first I want to buy something," said the jock interrupting her.

While the first place was decided, the teams were struggling to not be the last. The sisters, Father and Son, Ice dancers, Fashion Bloggers, and Geniuses had already finished the windows. Mother and daughter just finished while the Larpers were struggling with the last few.

"All Done," said Kelly, visibly tired.

"Took long enough," said Taylor, who didn't clean as many windows as her Mother. She then screamed after looking at her boot. "Look! There is poop bird on my boots!"

The daughter took off her boot and cleaned it on her mom's jacket.

"There, that's better," added Taylor.

Kelly's expression went from shock to disgust and then anger. She walked toward her daughter. "Don't treat me like a doormat."

"You're already all sweaty and gross. Why should both suffer?" said Taylor, ignoring her mom's complaints.

The Mother clenched her teeth, stepped back, and pulled the lever that shut Taylor up. She ended up hanging up on the platform 6 floors over the ground.

"Don't keep staring like an old mannequin! Help me!" shouted Taylor, glaring at her mom

"NO! I'm giving you a time-out."

"You can't do that. I'm your daughter."

"Well, that's how it works," said Kelly, pointing at the ground. "I won't let you down until you apologize."

"You're in for a long wait."

As they discussed, the Larpers ended up cleaning their windows.

"See Leonard, those two are fighting … again." Said Tammy, pointing at them.

"Ignore them, my loyal party member. We need to hurry and try to catch with LeShawna again," said the wizard.

At the same time, the teams on the roof have a hard time with the challenge.

Chet went to hit the ball, but it hit him in the forehead and the impact left a bump on his head.

"Hahaha, well done, you're soooo good," said Lorenzo, who also had a bump on his forehead.

"Yeah? It's funny you say so when the ball also hit you in the head," said Chet, glaring at his stepbrother.

Lorenzo rolled his eyes. "But after it hit me, I put the ball in the other court, so it counted."

"You didn't put it, it landed there by accident."

"Pffft, same thing."

"Shut up!" shouted MacArthur, holding her racket. "Someone is trying to do a challenge here."

The Tennis Menace shot a barrage toward MacArthur, who returned the service with a huge smash. "BOOYA! That's how you do it," shouted MacArthur, making a small dance.

"WOOO! Well done MacArthur, you're great!" shouted Brody in an excited voice.

The police cadet blew some kisses and bowed. "Thank you, thank you. Now I hope Sanders can return her service soon."

However, it wasn't Sanders's turn, but Jay's. The Adversity twin was shaking and sweating buckets.

"NOOO!" he shouted as soon as the machine began to fire, protecting himself with the racket. One of the balls hit it and sent him flying back, hitting the floor with a loud thud.

"Jay, are you ok?" shouted Mickey running toward his brother.

"I'm…" Before the older twin could answer, both heard the bell signaling they had completed the challenge, "pretty ok!"

"Wow, well done dude!" said Geoff, giving them some thumbs up.

As the twins ran down the building, Devin was coaching Carrie.

"You can do it," Devin rubbed her shoulders. "Just ask yourself, what would Shelly do?"

Carrie's smile turned into a frown, and she began to run to the hotel. "NO! I'M NOT SHELLY, and I'll never be."

"Carrie, wait!" Devin ran after her, not understanding what had happened.

As time passed, more teams began to finish the challenge.

"And the Genius enters in 2nd, Ice dancers, 3rd and The sisters 4th," said Don as the teams stepped on the carpet of completion.

"WHAT!? Bronze again!" shouted Joseé, lifting a golden vase.

"Calm down Joseé,. We at least made podium," said Jacques holding her hands.

Don looked at them, raising an eyebrow. "What podium? Anyway Father and Son are in 5th, Fashion bloggers in 6th, and Larpers in 7th."

"Hahaha, witness the greatness of our magic," said Leonard, laughing, as Tammy played the ocarina.

"I'm sure it's because the tennis challenge was a bit more difficult than cleaning windows. And talking about that, we have the Adversity twins in 8th."

"Yay! 8th is not that bad," said Mickey, making a shy smile.

"Maybe we're improving our game… better not jinx us," said Jay, his smile turning into a frown.

"AAAAnd the police cadets are in 9th, Surfer dudes 10th, and stepbrothers 11th," said Don, looking at the camera. "Only two teams remain trying their hardest … to be uncooperative."

Back at the hotel, Kelly was frowning at Taylor with the travel tip in her hand.

"Taylor I'll show you what your attitude is doing to us," said Kelly, putting a hand on her hip.

"Augh, it's 'tude mom, nobody says attitude anymore," said the daughter, rolling her eyes.

Kelly ignored her daughter, her eyes filled with tears. "I read the tip, and our next stop is a mall filled with gold. We could be shopping right now."

"I… I didn't know…" Said Taylor, her voice cracking. "I'm sorry Mom, I'm like so sorry."

"Do you really mean it?" said Kelly, moved.

Taylor shrugged with one shoulder. "Not really, at least for anything I did in the past." Kelly didn't look convinced, so Taylor continued. "look, you're lame and completely embarrassing. But as long as you take me shopping, I'll pretend you aren't."

"That's all I ever wanted!" Kelly caught her daughter.

Meanwhile, Carrie was still struggling on the rooftop, the balls were too fast for her.

"Carrie, just relax," said Devin, cupping his mouth.

The blond girl glared at the machine. "C'mon Carrie, you can do it."

And then she swung the racket.

Back at the mall, LeShawna and Tyler were in the gold souk, looking at some accessories.

"Mmm," said Tyler looking at some necklaces.

"Ty, you have been looking at those for five minutes," said LeShawna, raising an eyebrow. "Pick one, or let's go to another store."

Tyler sighed. "I want to buy something for Linds, but I'm not sure which one is the best."

"How about this?" LeShawna smiled and picked one. It was a small necklace with a sun. "it's only 300 bucks."

"It's perfect!" shouted Tyler, who immediately talked with the shop owner

However, LeShawna felt someone pulling the necklace. At her side was Taylor, looking at it with sparkling eyes.

"Sorry girl, I picked it first," said LeShawna, frowning.

"Ex-cuse-you? I saw it first. Now let it go, you cow!" said Taylor, glaring a LeShawna.

The sista, with a simple movement, pushed the brat away, taking the necklace. "NO! It's a gift for a friend."

"MOM!" shouted Taylor.

"Sorry, but my daughter really likes that necklace," said Kelly, forcing a smile.

LeShawna shook her head. "Sorry ma'am, not happening, your daughter is too rude, and I don't want to."

"Really, well, too bad. MOM! Tell the clerk we're paying triple the price for that necklace," said Taylor, making a smug smile.

"Done Lesh, I already paid it," said Tyler, smiling, who then noticed Mother and Daughter. "Oh, hello there."

"Hello," said Kelly waving.

"Well, sorry brat, but the necklace is already ours, and if you excuse us, we still have some shopping to do," said LeShawna making a huge smile.

Taylor was red-colored, her neck filled with veins. "Mom! I don't care about the race! But we must at least go further than that cow!"

Kelly's eyes widened. "THE RACE!"

Both then realized their mistake: They went shopping before finishing the leg! LeShawna and Tyler leave Mother and daughter behind, not suspecting this encounter would change the end of the leg.

Mother and daughter run out of the store as fast as Taylor could, while the Best Friends' taxi arrived at the souk. Both teams were frantically looking for the shop.

In the end both find it almost at the same time, but sadly one team was closer to the store than the other.

Don made a strained smile. "Kelly and Taylor, I'm sorry but you're still in the race."

"YAY!" Mother and Daughter hugged each other.

Although Taylor quickly pushed Kelly away. "Ugh Mom, you're sweating."

Don sighed and then looked solemly at the Best Friends. "Carrie and Devin, you're the last team to arrive. You're out of the race."

Carrie and Devin both groaned sadly.

"Sorry Devin, it was my fault," said Carrie, sobbing.

"That's not true homie, we lost because it was a bad challenge for us," said Devin hugging her. "In fact we reach so far thanks to you."

Carrie was confused. "Thanks to me? But I didn't…"

"You helped me get over my fear of height in Toronto and Brazil, and also supported me during all the weird challenges," Devin made a charming smile. "I'm glad you accepted to enter the show with me Carrie, you're the best partner I could wish for."

"Oh Devin," Carrie hugged her best friend. Even if the race was finished for them, their relationship still had a chance.

The Real Reality TV Pros, ignoring what they caused, went to dine with Brody and Geoff again. After losing Steph and Ryan, they were basically their only friends in the race.

"And then I told Bridgette, It seems like Brody and your mother are in the police department for saving a cat," said Geoff, taking off his hat, as Brody, LeShawna, and Tyler laughed.

"Oh, that can't be true," said LeShawna drying a tear.

"It's totally true," said Brody smiling. "Luckily, all was resolved pretty easily, and they let us go with a warning and a fee for driving on the sidewalk."

Tyler then looked at the clock. "That's an extreme story, but it's already midnight, and I'm getting tired."

"Me too," said Brody stretching.

The four said their farewells and LeShawna and Tyler returned to their rooms, not suspecting someone was watching them.

"So that's her boyfriend," said the mysterious person. "This will be easier than I expect."

The real Reality TV Pros were resting in their room, Tyler looking at the necklace with a huge smile.

"I hope she likes it," said the jock.

"She will, don't worry," LeShawna smiled and winked. "I chose it, after all."

Tyler turned around and winked. "Thanks Lesh."

Then both went to sleep, Tyler hugging the necklace's box while sleeping.

"Wow, he really liked the present," LeShawna smiled.

The sista went to sleep, she wanted to ask about Lindsay and Tyler. What happened between them? But she didn't want to force him to talk, so LeShawna decided to wait. Their day in Dubai ended with a big success, so they just brushed away the negative thoughts and focused on rest that night.

And Dubai ended with Mother and Daughter being unexpectedly saved and a mystery around the TV Pros starts.

About Tyler and Lindsay, What do you think happened between them? I would like to hear your theories.

Also, why do I save Mother and Daughter? I notice not many people writes them and I wanted to give them a try, that's why they stood in the game, I'm not sure if there are fans of them out there but I hope you enjoyed it. I know I didn't mention explicity in the episode but the Best Friends were the ones that went home, probably in the future I will make all eliminations explicit ;)

And please, if you want to leave a review/comment with your thoughts about the chapter, I promise to answer them in the next chapter. Your thoughts help me a lot not only to improve the story but also to keep my motivation.

Now before closing let me answer the latest reviews:

bobomb33rd: I'm glad you liked it, I usually put some serious content in my comedies to help develop the characters.

Now Brody's situation is one of my fav, because he likes both but being Brody he will probably struggle a lot before finding his answer. Emma is an interesting character without Noah, but no spoilers here. And lastly, I hope you enjoyed the elimination.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
