"Today's the day." Izuku said, tapping his feet as he waited for the train. He was reading the latest hero news to pass the time as he looked around to see many people going to work, some of them frustrated which showed in their quirks activating.

On the train ride to UA, he thought about what the training will be as he rubbed his black wristbands before he gazed out of the window, his eyes widened as he saw the spectacular sight that is the city of Tokyo during sunrise, the place covered in an orange hue. 'I keep forgetting how beautiful this city looks in the morning.'

Izuku lifted his phone to the sight of the city, taking a photo of the scenery as he smiled. Reaching his college campus, he looked around for where his course was taking place which was at the northern section of the campus. After a few minutes, he found himself in front of a huge building with the word 'Omega' on it colored in red.

"I guess this is it." Izuku said as he entered the place, seeing a huge spacious gym, exercising and training equipment lined up at the side of the building before he noticed some of them are sports equipment. He then noticed that everyone was looking at him, seeing seven other teenagers sitting around the place which made him uneasy. "Uhh...good morning. I'll just...go over there..."

"Hey! You're that dude with the spiky bat!" One of them said, approaching him. Izuku quickly and involuntarily stepped back and lifted his arms to defend himself before he felt an arm around his shoulder which surprised the verdette before he noticed it was the dude with the lightning quirk that helped him during the test. "You were so cool out there! You saved my bacon!"

"T-t-t-thank you. I-it was you that saved me...and was the cool one. I just ran out there like an idiot. Thank you by the way. Ummm...what is happening?" Izuku asked to which the blonde turned to everyone. "Well, we're waiting on our teachers to start the course."

"Ohhh. I thought they would be here by now."

"Exactly but they aren't tardy. However, some of the people here are a bit...irate to say the least." He said as Izuku looked at some of them, seeing a girl with short, black hair who was dressed like a goth attire having an annoyed expression as she periodically checked her phone. What caught Izuku's attention where her elongated earlobes that look like a pair of headphone jacks before he noticed two other teenagers, one of them being an extremely short teenager with grape-like hair and the other being a male with curly purple hair and a tired look on his face. "Ohhh."

"Well, yeah. I hope that we can be fri-"

"Welcome to UA, you Lillie land lovers!" A voice which echoed through the area, everyone surprised by the loud tone. They all turned to see two men by the entrance of the gym. "Sorry, I didn't know my mic was on! We are your teachers for this course."

One of the teachers is dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt, pants and along with a pair of pitch-black combat boots and a tape-like scarf around his neck while the other is dressed in a brown and black cowboy outfit with a red scarf. Izuku could not shake it out of his head when he looked at the two teachers in front of him with a scrutinizing glare. 'Why do they look awfully familiar? It's at the tip of my brain. Why do I have the feeling I know them?'

"Welcome to the UA Remedial Exams. Don't worry about the place being quiet. We always start the remedial course a month earlier than the actual hero course. Think of today like a pre-first day of the college. My name is Shouta Aizawa." The teacher in black, Shouta Aizawa, stated that as he gestured to the gym around them with a bored and tired expression. "And this is Gym Omega. Your training grounds for the next four months."

Izuku looked around the place in awe before he heard the other teacher in the mask clearing his throat.

"My name is Touma Hikigane. I am also your teacher and don't you expect us to babysit you. We're going to train you hard so be prepared." The other teacher spoke. Everyone was surprised by the two new mentors, some of them whispering their opinions and thoughts.

"Our teachers. They look...much different than I expected..."

"So we're getting taught by a hobo and cowboy? Really UA?"

"This looks like it's gonna be a snoozefest."

"I dunno. The one in the cowboy suit looks familiar. There may be more than meets the eye."

Meanwhile Izuku's eyes widened and sparkled as he realized who they are. "Wait! You're the Pro Heroes Eraserhead and Snipe?!"

The two men were caught off by the enthusiasm of the teen when he took out a red notebook from his bag and ran up to them. "Is it possible that I can get your autograph?"

Despite being baffled, Touma shrugged as he took the book and gave the teenager his autograph which made Izuku excited before he turned to Shouta who was a bit taken back by his energetic behavior.

"You want my autograph?" Shouta asked to which the teen energetically nodded to before he let out a smirk. "Alright. Pass this course and I'll give you one."

"Deal!" Izuku said without hesitation, much to the everyone's surprise. "So quick!"

'This child either has a lot of self-confidence or he really wants that autograph. Nevertheless, he's gonna be a headache.' Shouta scratched his head before he looked back at everyone, seeing some of them snickering. "Well, apart from the...shining interference, let's start. Show me what your quirks can do."

Everyone looked at each other with confused expression before the blonde kid voiced a question. "Wait, really? Now?"

"Of course. We need to know what we're working with if we're going to make you all pass this course and be great heroes. The first thing a hero must learn is to control and weaponize their quirks. A quirk has its various daily uses but what we're focusing on here is what your potential is and to make you grow." Aizawa said as he leaned on a wall while Snipe gestured for them to start. "It is alright to go all out. We want to see the full extent of your quirks. If your quirk goes haywire, don't worry. We're here to stop ya!"

Meanwhile, Nemuri was on the roofs of one of the rest houses near the gym, looking at the students who are using their quirks. "So it begins...Aizawa is early with the training as usual."

"Yeah!" Present Mic grinned while adjusting his glasses before he shrugged. "That's how he likes to teach. He likes to be a step ahead. He wants to get a good grasp of their quirks especially since some of these kids might end up in his class. Less work for him. Plus, he doesn't have to worry about sharing the field and facilities with other teachers."

"I completely forgot about that. He and Vlad always butt heads about who uses the facilities." Nemuri said with a slumped shoulders before she looked at the candidates using their quirks, one of them shooting lightning from his hands. "Well, it's better than if people are here."

'Yeah. If things go south, Aizawa can either erase it or Hikigane can shoot them with a tranquilizer bullet to knock them out.' A blonde, skeletal man said as he walked towards the window of the house and looked down at the class. The blonde man then noticed Izuku, his eyes widened in shock before he smiled a toothy grin. "Interesting."

The two heroes silently observed the teenagers using their quirks, Aizawa nodded while making notes on his phone until he noticed Izuku going into his bag and taking out a metal bat, also surprising the blonde man. 'What is he doing?'

"What's wrong, Shouta?" Snipe turned to his fellow teaching companion before he followed his gaze to see Midoriya practicing his swings with his bat. "Hmm. Why isn't he using his quirk?"

"Dunno. It could be situation-based quirk."

"Let me check." Shouta walked towards the teen, a confused expression on his face as he tapped the teen's shoulder and gestured him to a section in the corner. "Midoriya. I have been wondering. Why don't you use your quirk? You can use it despite being unable to control it. Snipe or I will help you. Or is it something that you can't talk about?"

"O-oh! Umm..." Izuku had a conflicted look on his face before his eyes lowered to the ground. He looked around the place to see some of the students staring at him which made him feel very self-conscious. Aizawa's eyes widened when he suspected something which he hoped is untrue. "You don't have a quirk, do you?"

"N-no, sir. I...I d-don't have a quirk." Izuku said with a dejected expression which surprised the raven-haired underground hero before he squinted his eyes at the green-haired teenager in anger. "You don't?"

"N-no, sir." Izuku looked away in embarrassment and frustration, unaware of the shocked expressions on the faces of the two teachers. The blonde skeletal man looked at the class that was using their quirks, some of them looking at Izuku with differing expression. 'Here comes the hard part.'

'With the way he fought in the exam, I thought that he had a dangerous quirk, an intelligence quirk or one that needs to be used under certain conditions but to think that he has no quirk.' Shouta thought before he put his fingers on his chin, his expression going grim as he glared at the verdette. "Do you think being a hero is a joke?"

"Huh?" Izuku looked up in shock and confusion before he spoke up. "N-no! I'm very serious about this!"

"Then you should know that this is not a child's game. How can you, a quirkless person, be able to get through this? You're weak and will only end up being dead weight!"

'I know.' Izuku gritted his teeth. He hated that word. That damn word that has been plaguing him his whole life.

"Shouta, I think you should stop." Touma tried to stop his partner but failed as Shouta continued as he approached the teen. "How do you plan on practicing, Midoriya?"

"I-I'm...planning to do some physical training...and I was wondering...are you able to teach me close quarters combat?" Izuku decided to speak up. The two teachers were not expecting that question, Izuku looking at his hands with a serious expression. "I know that I'm asking for a lot but there is not much that I could find on my own."

His eyes glanced at the scar on his arm before he lifted his gaze at his teachers. "I was trying to find videos online about martial arts lessons or find a dojo or gym near my home to use as training but nothing. I at least was able to pick up some basic self-defense techniques. And I can't get courses or go to gyms because I'm...you know."

Izuku heard snickers around him, ignoring them which made him unaware of several stares that he has gotten from some of his fellow candidates. Aizawa stood in front of Midoriya with glowing red eyes, his scarf and hair floating in the air. "Midoriya."

"Y-yes, sir." Izuku shook when he saw his glare, looking to the ground as he caught the attention of some of his classmates.

"What's going on?"

"What do you think they're talking about over there?"

"Maybe Mr. Aizawa's asking him about his quirk? I've never seen him use his quirk ever."

One of them was a purple-haired dude with a tired look on his face, a conflicted expression etched on his face as he saw Izuku's expression. 'He doesn't use his quirk? I wonder why.'

"As you are, you don't have the capabilities to be a hero. You don't have the talent to be a hero. Quit this course." Shouta said, the glow in his eyes intensifying as he glared at Izuku. The verdette felt frustrated as he balled his fists and shook in anger when he heard the words of his teacher. There it is again. The same sentence. He has no talent because he is quirkless. They do not allow him to prove himself. Not once.

'Every...time...no matter where...I go...'

Izuku could not hold back the burning rage inside of him as he remembered all his failed interviews. His failed auditions. Every failure in his life.

"I know..." Aizawa's blinked in confusion when he saw the glare Izuku gave him. "I know!"

Gritting his teeth in anger, Izuku felt the urge to hit something before he calmed down and kept his composure and glare at his teacher. "I know that I don't have the skills or abilities to be a hero but that's why I'm here! That's why I took this course! I won't know unless I try! Teach me what I need to know in order to be one! I don't care how hard I have to train or what I have to compensate for this!"

Izuku made one step before he patted himself on the chest. "I'll do whatever it takes! I'll prove all of you wrong!"

Everyone was surprised by what they could hear before Touma made them continue their training. Meanwhile, Shouta looked at the expression on his green-haired student's face before he stopped glaring which made his hair and scarf fall down and made a small smile. "Alright then, problem child. How about a bet?"

Within the intercom room, Nemuri and the others were surprised as Shouta went in front of Izuku who did not falter. "If you fail this course, I want you to relinquish your goal of being a hero. However, if you pass, you can get my autograph and I'll pay for the cost of this course and admission fees for you. How does that sound?"

"Yes! I'll show you!" Izuku said defiantly.

The two stood silently before Shouta let out a sigh as he turned around and leave. "Ok. Show me the extent of your abilities. Your circumstance is...unique so your training needs to be different than the others. Just exercise for now. I'll make you experience hell tomorrow, Izuku Midoriya."

Izuku nodded before he went to his section of Gym Omega as the two teachers inspected their students, the teen was surprised by his own outburst. 'Woah! I wasn't expecting to explode like that.'

The verdette was unaware of the people that were eyeing him from his outburst. As the exercise continued, there are students that caught the teachers' eyes, one of them was a blonde student, identified as Denki Kaminari, who let out a blast of lightning from his body that went everywhere, destroying the rocks around him but it has a side effect with it turning him to a mumbling idiot when he reaches his limit. Another student that caught their eye was a short, raven-haired girl, identified as Kyoka Jiro, who was pushing her elongated earlobes into rocks and destroying them with a sonic wave from them before they saw a male, identified as Awase Yosetsu, who could fuse things together. Another student that caught Shouta's eye was a purple-haired teenager who was using the weights. 'Hmm...another problem child. Why isn't he using his quirk?'

The whole day continued with the teacher inspecting their students' quirks, the two finding a few that piqued their interest before they dismissed the class.

"I hope you all know that tomorrow is when everything starts. Since we have info on your quirks, abilities and limits. We can proceed." Shouta spoke, getting nods from everyone before he concluded. "Class dismissed. The real training starts tomorrow so rest up."

As the students left, Touma looked at Shouta who had a smirk on his face before they came across Nemuri and Present Mic in the teacher's lounge. "Sup, Shouta? We saw your little battle with the teen."

Shouta sat down by one of the computers and made his report with a tired expression. "Don't even talk about it."

"I'm surprised that you made a bet with the kid." Nemuri adjusted her glasses while Touma checked on the notes he made. "You like him, don't you?"

"Izuku Midoriya. He's an interesting one. There are not many students who could do a stare down with Sho like he did. The kid got guts." Present Mic said when he looked at the paper showing Izuku's information. Shouta snatched the paper out of Present Mic's hand before he continued typing on the computer.

"Interesting or not. Quirk or no quirk. He needs to work if he wants to get into the hero course. Plain and simple."

The next day, everyone gathered by Ground Alpha, Shouta checking through the group before he decided to assign each student with a task. "You are all going to be taking ways in learning control over your quirk to better help you in situations. Power is important but it is best to learn how to control that power first before strengthening it."

"Think of this as a revision on your quirk. Learn how to control them to get the best out of them for the time period that you have." Touma chimed in.

"Alright! Everyone with emitter quirks go with Mr. Hikigane. The people with physical and touch-based quirks, come with me." As Shouta stated that, the class divided itself into two groups. As Izuku was about to take out his bat, Shouta appeared in front of the teenager with a glare. "Problem child, we will be doing something different today. Everyone, gather one."

They all did as told, Shouta led Izuku some distance away from them before he straightened himself and made a battle stance. "We will be doing a sparring match today. Show me what you all got. I need to know the best martial arts that fits your bodies and take notes."

Izuku made a serious expression as he took a deep breath as they both braced themselves, the other students stood by and watch the battle. Meanwhile, Touma was teaching Denki to shoot his electricity in one point instead of all around by providing him with a taser. "Come on, Kaminari! Think of yourself as a soldier in one of them Call of Duty games and you only have one gun. You need to learn to control all of electricity into a singular point, the point being that taser."

Denki got excited before he turned to his teacher. "You play COD too, teach?"

"Focus!"

"Yes sir!"

Both Shouta and Izuku stood in silence, the teacher lifted his hand.

"Come."

Izuku nodded, took a deep breath and dashed towards the man, going for a punch which Shouta dodged. 'Powerful but wild. He needs control.'

The teenager continued with his strikes which the teacher expertly dodged until he grabbed Izuku by the collar and slammed him to the ground. "Ow..."

"Again." The raven-haired teacher retreated while Izuku lifted himself from the ground.

"Yes!" Izuku sprinted again, this time going around Shouta and then went for a strike which surprised the teacher before he smirked, grabbing the teen's arm and sent him spinning into a wall. "Good approach. Too predictable."

Some of the students were surprised when Izuku got up, wiping his mouth and dusting off his clothes before he watched his teacher's moves. 'Man, this is tough...but I can't lose. If I can at least get one punch.'

The verdette continued on the offensive, this time going for two punches that missed before he resorted to kicks which Shouta dodged. Batting away the teenager's punch, the man retaliated with a quick jab that Izuku barely evaded, the teen losing his balance and falling on the ground. As the sparring match continued, some of the students hissed uncomfortably when they saw him take a punch to the stomach.

"Ooh...that's gotta hurt."

"Woah! That bat dude isn't half bad."

"What are you talking about? Mr. Aizawa is just toying with him."

As the teen was knocked back by a kick, he panted while wiping the sweat off his face as he raised his hands below his chin.

"Try again!" Shouta commanded, seeing his student getting up from the floor and dashing at him. Going around his teacher again, Izuku swung his arm which the teacher was about to block until he noticed the strike did not come. "What?"

Izuku grabbed his scarf before he went for a punch which was blocked, Shouta kicking him which sent him back. The teacher was about to go for another kick which Izuku managed to dodge by bending backwards. 'Adequate reflexes but he is surprisingly flexible.'

Shouta landed a heavy blow to Izuku in the stomach, the teen falling on his knees. "Is that all you got, Izuku Midoriya?"

The two continued with their brawl, everyone watching the teen being knocked around by Shouta which made some of them starting to snicker. The verdette tried again and again, only to be faced with failure but despite this, the teen was tenacious as he got up. Sporting a determined expression on his bruised face, Izuku stood up which caused some to be confused, including the purple haired boy. 'What's making him go this far?'

'To think he's still standing.' Shouta thought before he noticed Izuku sprinting towards him at full speed which caught the man off guard. 'He's also fast.'

Izuku attacked the man with quick jabs which he managed to avoid before he wrapped his scarf around Izuku's neck, the teen thinking quickly as he put his arms beside his neck that gave him space to breathe.

'He has a decent knowledge of basic combat and he has definitely trained his body as hard as he could. He's not joking...he really did all he could find to push himself.' Shouta smiled before he tightened his hold on Izuku who was trying to get out of the bindings. 'However...'

"You need to try harder, Midoriya. Think smarter. What will you do in this situation?" He asked, pulling his scarf tighter as Izuku struggled against the binding. During this, Izuku's head started to turn red as he pulled with all his might. 'Damn it. I gotta get out of here.'

The raven-haired underground hero loosened his scarf, granting Izuku the ability to breathe before he saw the teacher searching through his phone. "Take a break, Midoriya."

Izuku lifted a brow as the man looked at him and sat down before he checked his phone. "I got the lowdown of your skill. Your body is surprisingly fit but you will need more training. However, martial arts wise, you're stiff, predictable and very amateur. After your break, I will be teaching you the fundamental and basics of martial arts."

The verdette's eyes gleamed, holding his back his smile before he got up and bowed. "Yes, sir!"

"Alright, go! Shinso, you're next!" The teacher said as the next student came to the field. During this, Izuku decided to get a bottle of water from the vending machine before he sat down and watched the rest of his classmate, taking mental notes of their quirks. After his break was finished, Izuku quickly approached Aizawa who looked at the teen, smiling at the verdette's confident expression. "Alright, let's get started."

Izuku nodded before the teacher yawned. "Throw a punch."

"Huh?" The teen blinked in confusion before he did as told and swung his arm with all his might. Seeing the punch, Shouta nodded before he spoke. "Today, you're going to learn how to throw a punch properly."

Izuku was surprised by this as the teacher went in front of him, put his feet apart and lifted his arms to his head. Taking a deep breath, the man let out an exhale as he went for a punch, Izuku surprised at the speed of the strike. The teacher repeated the motion several more times before he turned to Izuku. "That is what you will be practicing for the day."

Izuku looked at his hands before he nodded and tried to mimic Shouta's stance. The teacher readjusted Izuku's body to get into stance which made the teen a bit uncomfortable as he tried holding the stance which did not go unnoticed by his teacher. "You need to learn how to use your body more effectively. The way that you're fighting now is causing you to use too much unnecessary energy. We will need to forge your body to not have to resort to too much unneeded movement."

Shouta unleashed a barrage of punches in the air before he went for a flurry kicks, Izuku noticing the difference between him and the underground hero. What made the teen surprised is the fact that his teacher was not tired.

"As a hero, every step counts. You're going to have to be prepared to fight multiple times with no breaks. This is your assignment and homework." He explained, Izuku getting a nod before he turned to the rest of his students. "That includes you all as well. Unlike Midoriya, I will need to train your bodies to make you all more versatile in using your quirks."

Practicing his punch, Izuku noticed the other students training hard with their quirks, the teen making mental notes of their powers before he focused back on his training. For the rest of the day, Izuku trained his body to throw a punch properly, his diligence and willingness keeping him on despite as his arms started aching him. After the day was done, Shouta made him continue this for the rest of the week, Izuku doing the exercise during his own time in his room and in the Kawasaki park.

After a week of training, everyone went on to do their training, Shouta assigned his students to do weightlifting before he went over to Izuku. "Alright, problem child. Show me the results of the 'punch'."

Izuku nodded before he put his body in a stance and then threw a straight jab, Shouta surprised when he saw the strike. 'It needs work but good. He's gotten the hang of it in a week.'

"Alright, good execution. You're going to continue with that until your body remember how to do the punch like that. At least fifteen every day." Shouta said with his arms folded. Izuku smiled at that before he bowed in gratitude. "Got it, sir!"

"Now you're gonna a do a kick properly." He then let out a small smile on his face.

"Seriously?!" Izuku shouted out of shock.

It has been two weeks since the remedial course has started, UA going through preparations by fixing their equipment in order to get started for the official courses in the next two weeks, this shows as some of the students in the remedial courses prepared themselves to do other courses.

During this time, Izuku was training diligently on any free time that he had in order to catch up with the rest of his peers.

Today, Shouta has been doing combat training against his students, the man facing against a purple-haired student. "C'mon, Shinso. Try harder. Put some more strength in those punches."

During their spar, Izuku observed every movement that the teacher did, looking at the notes and drawing of the moves and techniques in his notebook, the teen mumbling to himself which caused his peers to move away from him. 'He's a bit weird.'

Lifting Shinso off the ground, Aizawa put his hands in his pockets before he glared at the teen. "Hitoshi Shinso. Your movements are too sloppy. You have a good head on your shoulders but you should focus on training your body more."

"Y...yes sir." Hitoshi said before he got up and left the field. Aizawa then turned to Izuku. "Problem child! Your turn!"

"Yes sir!" Izuku hopped up and went to his side of the field, the teen feeling a bit of an ache through his arms and legs. 'Just ignore it...and continue...'

As his teacher gestured for him to start, the verdette hopped in place before he sprinted towards the man. 'He's gotten faster.'

Bracing himself, the raven-haired man was about to intercept Izuku's strike but the teenager stopped and spun around and landed a kick which Shouta grabbed his foot before throwing him back. Izuku quickly caught his footing before he continued, everyone watched as the teen tried to hit the teacher. When Izuku went for a quick jab, Shouta was surprised by the power of the strike that sent him back before he noticed the look of discomfort on his student's face as he carefully pulled back his leg.

'Something's wrong. He's learning quickly.' The teacher stated mentally as he fought against the teenager who started to push him back, much to his surprise. 'But-'

Shouta then wrapped his scarf around Izuku's neck, the teen quickly grabbing the scarf and pulled the teacher towards him as he cocked back his fist. "Got him!"

The teacher quickly grabbed his arm and flung him over his shoulder but Izuku was able to recover quickly by rolling until he hopped off the ground. The two continued with their brawl, everyone watching in awe and some snickering when the teen was failing until Shouta wrapped the teen with his scarf. Grabbing the item, Izuku tried with all his might to get out of the bindings, his muscles aching. 'C'mon...I trained for this...'

"Adequate, problem child. You should take a break." Aizawa said as he tightened his hold on Izuku who started struggling. "No. I can still continue...I can still go on..."

Some of his classmates were starting to get worried as he struggled against his bindings, Aizawa tightening his hold. "Don't bother, Midoriya. You're not getting out of this. Just stop. Your body can only handle so much. You have a limit."

'C'mon. Get out of this. You gotta show him. You gotta show them. You have to prove them wrong.' Izuku's face turned red, his body starting to ache before the teacher let him go and went to test the other candidates. "Touma, take Midoriya to the infirmary please."

"Got it." Touma nodded.

Meanwhile, pain and exhaustion coursed through Izuku's body as he struggled to lift himself off the ground as his limbs started to ache. 'I can't rest...I don't have time to...I...have to try...harder than anyone else...'

Touma picked up the verdette who shrugged off his hold, his panting becoming heavier before he took a deep breath and pushed himself off the ground.

"It's ok, Mr. Hikigane. I can..." Izuku started wheezing as he clutched his chest which made his teacher worried as he patted the teenager's back. "No. You need to rest. Your health is no joking matter!"

"It's ok. It's just...a slight ache. I'm not...sick. I can...still keep going." The verdette gritted his teeth, getting to his feet as he shakily made his way towards Aizawa. "...steady...c'mon body..."

"You need to rest!" Touma said worriedly as he chased towards the teen, getting his gun out. "You need to rest."

Meanwhile, Aizawa was finished with another student before he saw Izuku coming towards him, the man bracing himself. Izuku straightened himself before he sprinted towards the teacher, his body immediately lost its energy which made him collapse to the ground, much to everyone's surprise. "Damn it...c'mon body...get up..."

"What is that metal bat dude doing?" A purple haired midget looked at the teen and snickered as the Izuku's face turning red as he tried to move. Shouta looked at the curly-haired teen, the man walking to the teen with a slightly concerned expression. "Midoriya, I believe that's eno-"

"No! I can't give up. I can't be a disappointment!" Izuku said, his vision becoming dizzy as he tried his best to move. Frustrated, Izuku weakly punched the ground as he gritted his teeth harshly as his body started to illuminate. 'I can't be useless...as long...as I'm not dead.'

"C'mon..." Izuku could barely word as a vein pulsed on his forehead. "...move..."

Suddenly, Izuku felt a spark of energy within his chest, the energy welling up inside as his body started tensing. More veins started appearing around the teenager's body, the teen's hand clutching his chest as he started coughing. Shouta started to run to the teen before he made a call. "Recovery Girl, come here now."

"Is it a heart attack?!" Snipe asked as they both grabbed the teenager's hands. The glow on Izuku's body started intensifying glowing before his eyes illuminated into a light green color, his hair moving wildly as he clenched his teeth tightly and squirmed on the ground. A trail of blood trickled down his nose as he grunted in pain. 'My chest...my chest feels like it's on fire. It's getting to be hard to breathe. I need to...breathe...'

After a while, he took a deep breath, his freckles started to give off a faint glow along with his scar which surprised the teachers. "What is this?"

"What's taking Recovery Girl so long? I don't want to move him if he's having a heart attack." Touma looked around in worry as the other students were worried, Denki channeling electricity in his hands. "I can probably be a defibrillator to calm him down."

"His heart is overworking itself, not beating irregularly. We need to get Recovery Girl." Touma explained.

"His body is glowing though. Shouldn't we be worried about that?" Kyoka panicked as she listened to her fellow classmate. Taking another breath, Izuku felt the burning feeling in his body starting to spread out around his body as he started coughing profusely. 'My body feels like it is burning. I need to stop it. I need to let it out. Just get out! Get the hell out!'

Izuku felt the energy leaving his body, Shouta surprised when he felt his hands levitating on air along with the pebbles being pushed away from the teen's body. "What on earth?"

Silence took reign as everyone watched Izuku, the glow on his body dissipated before he lost consciousness, the teen starting to breathe clearly.

"We're here! What happened?" An old woman in a nurse outfit came into the gym with a bunch of robots behind her. She then ran and inspected the kid as Snipe gestured everyone to give the woman space. "Symptoms please."

"I'm not sure...but it seems that he collapsed due to overworking...his breathing was irregular, he was coughing and wheezing too..." Shouta explained, much to the woman's concern as she continued checking by using the robots who checked his heart rate before she made them take the teen away. "His breathing is normal but it's still does not mean we're in the clear so I'm taking him to the infirmary."

As Recovery Girl took Izuku and left the gym, Snipe let everyone continue while Shouta wore a serious expression when he glanced at the green-haired teenager.

'This is weird. Was his body glowing?'

After the day was finished, the teachers were getting ready to leave, in one of the rooms was Shouta who was checking through the papers for the candidates. He then checked one of the papers while looking at the footage of the entrance practical exam, inspecting on each of the students until he saw Izuku's body glowing at multiple occasion which made him skeptical. "His quirk activates at multiple times however I'm unsure on its abilities or what it does. It seems to activate due to immense stress or a strong emotion. Hmm. Is he unaware of his powers or is he acting?"

He then looked at Izuku's papers, the section that shows Quirk showing 'N/A' which made him let out a sigh as he leaned back in his chair. 'A late bloomer? It can't be. This is just troublesome.'

"I'm going to need Recovery Girl to conduct a health inspection on the problem child tomorrow." He came to that conclusion as he turned off his computer. Sorting out his stuff, he heard the door to the teacher's lounge suddenly open, Recovery Girl showing to by the door. "Shouta Aizawa. I need you to come with me."

"Hmm?" The man said before he followed the elderly woman to the infirmary, his eyes widened when he saw Izuku still asleep. "What's wrong with the problem child?"

"His body is ok...for the most part." Recovery Girl stated before her expression turned into a grim one when she turned to the teen. "But the problem is...his quirk factor is resonating..."

Shouta was shocked by this information. His eyes widened as he racked his brain, wondering if he had gotten the wrong papers for the verdette before he decided to spoke. "Excuse me? Quirk factor? Isn't he quirkless?"

"That's the odd thing. His body composition is one of a person diagnosed as quirkless but he has a quirk that is resonating." The woman pulled out a piece of paper and gave it to him, the man seeing an X-ray examination of the teen's body, a small dot showing in his chest area. "Are quirk factors supposed to be this small? The usual size from what I've learned from biology is supposed to be the size of your fist."

"It shouldn't but it could be because it's starting to awaken." The elderly woman stated before she put a thermometer in the teenager's mouth. "There is also the fact that his body tends to increase in temperature and overheat when the quirk factor started surging. His muscles even start to contract as well."

"Why is that?"

"It could have to be with the nature of his quirk, it literally makes his body use all the muscles and organs in his body, including his heart as well. Also, his quirk is something his body is not used to. Because of its unfamiliarity with the quirk factor, it takes almost all the energy within his body just to activate the quirk which is something common in late bloomer."

"A late bloomer?" Shouta lifted a brow. "But that's impossible? Late bloomers don't have the body composition of quirkless people. This is the first that this has happened."

"I know, this is strange. I will need to make a report of this to the teachers tomorrow. Nezu needs to know so we can see what the next step is to take from here." Recovery Girl stated before she put her fingers on her chin. "But anyways, we need to-"

"Hmm..." Izuku slowly opened his eyes, sitting up slowly before his eyes widened when he came to realization.

"I can breathe!" Izuku celebrated, panting with a huge smile of excitement as he raised his arms into the air.

"That's your first reaction?!" Recovery Girl shouted in exasperation before she tapped the teen on his head with her cane. Izuku massaged his temples, a pained groan coming out of his mouth. "My head hurts."

"Are you ok?" Shouta said, Izuku nodded as he held his aching head. "Yeah. What happened? I was training but then my body started burning up and then...everything was black after that."

"It's ok then." Recovery Girl smiled, Shouta giving the verdette a glare. "Midoriya, you need to take a rest. You're overworking yourself too much. Have you been getting a good amount of sleep?"

"Umm..." Izuku shrunk in his seat when he saw the man's face before he answered meekly. "...no..."

"Go home and get your sleep. No training. Your body needs to be at 100% by the end of this week because your training regimen is going to have an upgrade from here." He said, much to Izuku's surprise. "Oh, ok. What will I be training on?"

"You will know when the time comes." The man stated before he turned around, Recovery Girl had a concerned look on her face before she whispered to the raven-haired man. "Are you sure about this? The quirk can be detrimental to the boy's health. It could kill him."

"Yeah. All the more reason for him not only to rest but learn how to control it so this does not repeat again. A quirk is like a muscle, the more it's used, the less strain it has on the body. Let's not inform him of this until Nezu gives the order." Shouta whispered, taking out his phone which was ringing before he let out a sigh and turned to Izuku. "You better be ready for hell on earth!"

"Yes sir!" Izuku nodded with a confident expression on his face. As Izuku left UA college, Shouta let out a tired sigh as he bought a can of coffee from a vending machine.

"That boy, Izuku Midoriya..." Aizawa mumbled while he went to his car which is a black Sedan with tinted windows. "He's already the odd one out of the bunch. Then there's this development. Honestly, this is gonna be a pain. He has heart but he overworks himself and now he has a quirk that seems to do more harm than good."

Aizawa looked out of the window as he drove off with some new goals now. He then let out a tired sigh as he massaged his temples. "My workload just got bigger. I don't get paid enough for this."

'But I can't allow for any failures if they should go into the hero course.' He thought as he drove into the night.

Chapter is finished. Izuku's journey to being a hero is gonna be a lot of harder than expected. He has a quirk. That does nothing. Super. Now the Remedial courses have started and a deal has been done, a quirk has awakened and Izuku is about to learn a new fighting style. Hope that you like this chapter. I enjoyed writing Aizawa and yes. Shinso, Kaminari, Jiro and Mineta is here. Don't expect everything to be the same. You might see some…differing choices from here on out. Enigma out!
