Chp. 37: Guys Night/Girls Night

It had been over a week after the students of the U.H.L. returned from their missions. They had all returned to their academies to continue their education a couple days later. After a week had passed just after, it was now sunset and Teams RWBY, JNPR, OBSA, GRMA, JAAR, and CFDT were all in the dining hall eating their dinner.
"Glad you're starting to feel better, Jacob," Robert said.
"Yeah, I've had people to look out for me," Jacob said, turning his head towards Britney.
"You're my boyfriend. It's my job to be there for you. Plus, it helped even more that your mom was there too," Britney said.
"So you and Jacob's mom got along?" Ren asked.
"Yep. She got along well with Winter as well right after she and Jacob's brother showed up," Britney answered.
"Something tells me his mom and my mom would get along just fine if they were to meet," Weiss said.
"They probably would," Jacob nodded.
"So... any you all have for tonight?" Watson asked.
"No," Ricky answered.
"I've got nothing," Kendra spoke.
"Zero things to do," Jacket said.
"No schedule," Weiss said.
"Nothing," Oscar said.
Everyone else either said no, or shook their heads in response.
"Hey! I've got an idea. Maybe we should all go out to Vale tonight," Yang suggested.
"Not a bad idea. But let's twist it up a bit," Azumi answered
"How so?" Rebecca asked.
"All guys and all girls split off from each other. and go off to do what they want," Azumi explained.
"You mean like guys only and girls only going out sort of thing? Watson asked.
"Yeah," Azumi answered.
"To be honest, it's been a while since I've gone out on a girls night," Britney said.
"Sure, we can do that," Jesse replied.
"Guys night!" all the boys in the group exclaimed.
"Girls night!" all the girls in the group exclaimed.
City of Vale
Commercial District
Later at night in the commercial district, Pyrrha, Nora, Britney, Rebecca, Kelly, Ilia, Emerald, Azumi, and Team RWBY were all walking down the sidewalk, looking at the shops around them, while drinking their cans and bottles of soda.
"I still can't believe Ilia actually gave you a rim job, Rebecca," Kendra said as the chameleon Faunus blushed in embarrassment.
"We were both drunk from the wine. But then again, I did enjoy it," Rebecca said.
"Don't forget that Blake, Yang, and Sun were mistken to have had a three way," Emerald said, making Yang and Blake blush in embarrassment.
"Oh yeah. And Ghira tried to murder the two blondes for supposibly deflowering his daughter," Nora said.
"It's okay, when it's in a three-way. It's not gay, when it's in a three-way," Azumi sang.
"Shut up, Azumi! We didn't actually do it! It was a misunderstanding!" Blake said as her cheeks turned more red.
"So new rule when we get back; No alcoholic drinks. Because apparently, alcohol equals sex," Britney said.
"At least Jaune and I didn't have sex back in Rwanda. We wanted to be together but not for sex," Pyrrha said.
"You know what? Good for you two," Weiss said.
"Hey Azumi, what's up with you and Genji? Are you to together-together?" Nora asked.
"No. I haven't talked to him about it yet," Azumi answered.
"You should if you want to," Blake said.
"Hey Ruby, what about you? Anyone caught your eye?" Britney asked.
"What about Oscar? You two turn into nervous wrecks when you interact," Kelly asked.
"Ummmm..." Ruby turned her eyes away as her cheeks turned red, while she twiddled her fingers.
"Oh my God! You like Oscar don't you? I always knew you did!" Kelly squealed.
"Well... he's cute... and he tries to look out for me and seems to care for my well being," Ruby said.
"Aww..." Kelly, Nora, Rebecca, and Azumi cooed.
"Just remember, you can't do it with Oscar for at least a couple years since he's still under aged," Yang said. "But I am still keeping my eye on him."
"Yang!" Ruby whined with a blush.
"Hey Weiss, you've been hanging around with Ricky a lot lately. Care to talk about it?" Kendra asked.
"We've been... playing video games lately," Weiss answered.
"Admit it. You like him, don't you?" Britney asked.
"No! Just because he got me hooked on video games and junk food, looks out for me, especially when he stood up to my father, and somehow makes me feel safe whenever I'm around him doesn't mean I like him," Weiss explained.
"So you love him?" Azumi asked with a smirk.
"Shut up, you dolts!" Weiss shouted with a slight blush.
"Emerald, what about you? Anyone that caught your eye? What about Mercury?" Yang asked.
"Fuck no! Not Mercury!" Emerald answered with a deadpan look on her face.
"Anyone at all?" Blake asked.
"There... might be one," Emerald answered.
"Who? Tell us everything!" Kendra said.
"Watson," Emerald relied.
"Why him?" Weiss asked.
"Most of you never really trusted me even after the Great Merging. Watson trusted me and wanted to give me a chance, despite having just met him," Emerald explained.
The rest of the girls paused for a moment. Team RWBY all had guilt ridden expressions on their faces, since despite Emerald helping them, they still had a hard time trusting her. Blake decided to change the subject and break the awkward silence.
"So Kelly, did anyone catch your eye?" Blake asked.
"Still figuring out who I want to be with," Kelly answered.
"I'm sure the one for you will come eventually," Pyrrha said.
"Hey Britney, quick question. When do you plan on sleeping with Jacob?" Kendra asked.
"I'm waiting for the right moment. So until then, I better prepare," Britney answered.
The girls all stopped walking and saw a shop with a large sign that read Victoria's Secret. The girls all turned their heads to face each other.
"What do you all say we do a little shopping here?" Britney asked with a smirk.
The other girls all smirked at each other then started to walk towards the lingerie shop.
Gun Range
Meanwhile at an outdoor gun range, Jacob, Allen, Ricky, Jaune, Ren, Robert, Oscar, Mercury, Jacket, and Jesse were all enjoying themselves, shooting at some targets that had been set up, and eating some fast food they had gotten from a McDonald's restaurant.
"A night out is what we all need," Jacob said as he then took a bite out of a Big Mac burger.
"You can say that again," Jacket said, raising his cup of Coca Cola.
"So how are you and Kendra doing?" Ren asked.
"She was really clingy to me a lot more ever since I got back," Robert answered.
"Yeah, our girls really missed us," Jacob said. "Well except for Jaune, since he and Pyrrha were with each other on their mission."
The boys turned their heads to see Jaune holding The Equalizer as Jacket points at a nearby target for him to shoot at. Jaune aims Jacket's shotgun at the target and fires. Upon firing, the force of the blast from the shotgun knocks Jaune to the ground and lands on his butt. Jacket points at Jaune and laughs at him.
"Allen, is there any girl that caught your eye?" Robert asked.
"I've been eyeing Kelly a lot," Allen answered.
"Somehow I can see that. In some ways you two are like Ren and Nora," Jacob said.
"Mercury, what about you?" Ricky asked.
"Nobody," Mercury answered.
"You gonna be lonely if you don't find someone," Jesse said.
"So Oscar, what's up with you and Ruby?" Allen asked.
"Well I... uh..." Oscar tried to answer.
"I'll take it that you like her, but are too bashful to ask her out?" Ren asked.
Oscar looks away from the others with his cheeks turning red.
"Grow some balls, dude! It'll help!" Jacket called out.
"Just try to ask Ruby out. It's worth a shot," Ren said.
"Ummm... Sure," Oscar replied.
"Anyone got your attention, Ricky?" Robert asked
"Weiss," Ricky answered.
"The ice queen? Good luck with that," Mercury said with a laugh.
"Hey! It could happen! I got her hooked on some video games," Ricky said.
Suddenly, almost everyone's phones and Scrolls beeped, catching everyone's attention. They all took out their Scrolls and phones to find a message on them.
"I've got a message from Professor Ozpin," Jaune said.
"Me too," Oscar said
"We all do. And I guess the girls got it too," Jacob said.
"He wants us to get back to Beacon as soon as we can," Mercury said.
"Whatever it is, it's got to be something important," Oscar said.
"Jesse, Watson and I didn't get it. So what gives?" Jacket asked.
"Don't know, but I guess it won't hurt bringing you guys along," Jaune answered.
Beacon Academy
Lecture Hall
Later inside the lecture hall, Teams GRMA, CFDT, RWBY, JNPR, OBSA, and JAAR had all just entered inside and were all sitting behind their desks, while Professor Ozpin, Glynda, Roman, Neopolitan, Keaton stood at the front of the down below looking up at the students. Roman was holding a large stack of papers in his hands
"Professor, why did you call us all here?" Ruby asked.
"What is Team JAAR doing here?" Glynda asked.
"They were with us when we got Professor Ozpin's message, and we decided to take them with us," Ricky explained.
"Okay, I'll allow it," Ozpin replied.
"What's this about?" Jesse asked.
"In two weeks, Rooster Teeth will start airing Volume 8, and they have sent us this," Keaton explained.
Roman walked up and started to pass stacks of papers to the students. They looked at the paper on top and saw what was on it, RWBY Volume 9.
"Scripts for Volume 9?" Britney asked.
"Yes. Like we had stated before when presented with the scripts for Volume 8, we thought it would be best for you all to see them," Keaton answered.
"The other headmasters and their groups are being made aware of this as well. It's best we go over this so we can come up with plans for the possibilities of what we could face," Glynda said.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's see what's up next," Ruby said.
