"So do you think this is enough?" Matt asked holding up six Super Potions. Makuson shrugged
"I dont know, your the one who keeps track of this stuff," Makuson said
"Its fine, lets just get going," Misty said annoyed
"Fine, lets go." Matt said. He then paid for the Super Potions and they began to walk towards the gym.
"So, what type of gym is this one Matt?" Makuson asked
"Thunder. Your in luck, you can use your geodude," Matt said
"Thats great!" Makuson said. The three finally reached the Thunder gym. They all walked in and saw a one on one match going on.
"Pidgeotto, Use Gust!" The trainer ordered
"Raichu, use Thunder punch!" The gym leader commanded. The pidgeotto began to flap its wings, but before it could create any winds, Raichu jumped up and punched it in its face. The pidgeotto then fell to the ground.
"Looks like I win." the gym leader said. The trainer then ran out of the gym to the pokemon center.
"Are you my next challengers?" The gym leader asked
"Yup," Makuson said confidently
"Me too," Matt said
"So how does a Double Battle sound," The gym leader asked
"Fine to me," Matt said
"Sounds good," Makuson answered
"What are you names?" The gym leader asked
"Makuson," Makuson said
"Matt" Matt said. Misty then jumped up in between them.
"And im misty!" Misty exclaimed
"Hey, your not the one getting the badge!" Matt said
"Matt, I wouldnt argue with her" Makuson whispered into Matt's ear
"Ill argue with her all i want!" Matt said. Out of nowhere Matt was hit with Misty's hammer and went flying outside the door.
"Warned you!" Makuson yelled
"Your Lt. Surge right?" Matt asked
"No, hes my dad, Im bolt!" Bolt answered
"How did you get back here?" Makuson asked confused
"Pokemon Logic!" Matt said. Makuson and Misty just looked at him confused.
"Go Electabuzz!, Go Raichu!" Bolt yelled
"Go Geodude!" Makuson yelled
"Go Ninetales!" Matt yelled
"This is a two on two battle, the rules are the same as Pewter and Cerulean's rules." The referee said
"Geodude, Rock throw!" Makuson ordered
"Ninetales FLamethrower!" Matt commanded. Ninetales and Geodude then launched their attacks, Raichu dodged them both. But they both ended up hitting electabuzz.
"ELECTABUZZ! RAICHU! THUNDER!" Bolt yelled. Both of the electric pokemon shot lighting from their body's one hit geodude and one hit ninetales. Geodude wasn't at all affected, But ninetales was hurt badly. Bolt then made a grin.
"Both of you, Get that ninetales!" Bolt yelled
"No!" Matt yelled
"Thunder!" Bolt yelled. Both of the pokemon used their thunder attacks on ninetales. Shortly after, Ninetales fainted.
"AWW MAN!" Matt yelled
"Then its up to me," Makuson said
"Geodude, rock throw!" Makuson ordered. Geodude then threw rocks at both Electabuzz and Raichu. Electabuzz just barely dodged it while Raichu got hit by Both. Raichu then fainted.
"Good job geodude!" Makuson cheered. All of the sudden, Geodude began to glow a bright, white light.
"Its evolving!" Matt yelled. The geodude then completely dissapeared in the light. After a few seconds past, the light began to disapear.
"Whats that pokemon?" Makuson asked himself. He then pulled out his pokedex and examined it.
"A Graveler huh, this is too good!" Makuson yelled in joy.
"Electabuzz, Firepunch!" Bolt yelled. Electabuzz began gathering fire in his right fist. He then ran towards the newly evolved graveler.
"Graveler, Dodge it, and use Rollout!" Makuson yelled. The graveler began to form into a ball, soon enough it started to roll faster and faster towards Electabuzz.
"Electabuzz!" Bolt screamed. The fire punch and the Rollout collided, all of the sudden, smoke covered the entire arena making it impossible for anyone to tell who one.
"Uh oh!" Bolt and Makuson yelled. Soon enough the smoke cleared, Both pokemon were standing, after a few seconds, Electabuzz began to collapse. Electabuzz Fainted.
"Both of Bolt's pokemon are down, therefore Matt and Makuson win the match!" The announcer stated
"Good job Graveler!" Makuson cheered
"Graveler!" Graveler said
"Return!" Makuson said. A Red light began to form and took graveler back into his pokeball.
"You fought well Raichu, You too Electabuzz, Return!" Bolt said. A red light appeared and took Both the electric pokemon back into their pokeballs. Bolt then walked up to Matt and Makuson and held out a case.
"These are yours!" Bolt said. Both of them then took the badges and jumped in joy
"We already have three!" Makuson said
"Were getting closer and closer!" Matt said
"Good job," Misty said
"Now lets get going," Makuson said
"Wait a minute, Stay there for a minute!" Bolt said. He then ran into the other room, and in what seemed like seconds, he ran back out with a suitcase and a different outfit. He had a blue jacket over a black undershirt, with black jeans. His hair was spiky and yellow, He had a black belt with chains hanging around it. His shoes were plain and black.
"And if we say no?" Misty asked
"Ill follow you anyway," Bolt said
"Dont you have to watch over the gym?" Makuson asked
"Actually me and my dad Surge had a deal, if i lose three matches in a row its his turn to be the gym leader again, So i really have no where to go!" Bolt said
"Fine you can come," Matt said
"Great!" Bolt said. Makuson Matt Misty and Bolt then headed off to the next town, Celadon city.
