"Hey, look over there!" Misty said pointing to a large mountain.
"Where theres a mountain, there are pokemon" Matt said.
"Lets go!" Makuson yelled. He ran off and entered the cave of the mountain. The other three soon followed. When they had all made it inside the cave, they started to explore all different directions. After a few hours, there was only one tunnel left. They all entered and wondered what was inside. They had made it to the ending of the tunnel, and saw a normal stone. Makuson picked it up, and the floor began to move down.
"Whats happening!" Bolt asked.
"Maybe we'll find some treaasure..." Matt said.
"Who would keep treasure in a place like this?" Misty asked.
"Who would build an elevator in a place like this?" Matt asked.
"Point taken" Misty answered. The "elevator" Suddenly stopped at a wooden door. Makuson opened it, and the four went through. They saw buttons everywhere, and holes in all of the walls. Across the hall was another wooden door.
"Lets find the treasure!" Makuson yelled. He began to run towards the other door, but Matt stopped him.
"Makuson, this place could be filled with traps" Matt said suspiciously.
"That would explain the buttons" Bolt wondered.
"Then i'll test it" Makuson said. He began to walk confidently onto the buttons. The first button he stepped on, an arrow shot out from a wall. It barely went through Makuson's head.
"Exactly" Misty said. Makuson glared at Misty, but soon enough began to run through the buttons at full speed.
"What are you doing?" Matt yelled.
"Bumrushing!" Makuson yelled. He had barely avoided each arrow by inches. Once he had finally made it, he called to the others.
"Coming?" Makuson yelled.
"I guess," Matt decided. He began to run as fast as Makuson, and barely dodging each arrow just as Makuson did.
"We'll stay here," Misty said.
"If you want" Makuson said. Matt and Makuson walked into the door, and saw pits of Lava everywhere.
"Be careful" Matt warned. They both got near a wall and slowly walked towards the next door. When Makuson was one step away from the door, the stone beneath him broke,
and he began to fall.
"Ivysaur, Vinewhip!" Matt yelled throwing a pokeball. The plant pokemon appeared and quickly used its vines to grab Makuson.
"Thanks," Makuson said. Once he was up, they headed to the next door.
"Makuson, you might want to keep a pokemon out for help. This could get pretty dangerous" Matt warned.
"Good idea, Come on out Wartortle!" Makuson yelled throwing a pokeball. A Blue turtle pokemon appeared infront of Makuson.
"That'll do," Matt said.
"Wartortle, think you can help us get through this cave?" Makuson asked.
"War," Wartortle nodded. The four walked through the next door, and they saw two pokemon. An onix and a Graveler.
"We have to get passed these pokemon." Matt whispered.
"Wartortle, Watergun!" Makuson ordered. The turtle pokemon launched a stream of water towards the Onix, and it fainted.
"Good thing water is super affective against rock." Matt said.
"Ivysaur, vine whip!" Matt yelled. The Ivysaur grabbed onto graveler with vinewhip and smashed it into the stone floor. Both of the pokemon were knocked out. They continued into the next door when they saw a treasure chest. Makuson ran over and tried to open it, but it was locked.
"Aww, we need a key." Makuson complained.
"Maybe theres one hidden around here," Matt said. After a while of searching, Makuson finally found something.
"Matt, over here!" Makuson yelled. He opened a patch in a wall and found a key lying there.
"Perfect," Matt said. Makuson carried the key to the chest and unlocked it. He then slowly opened it, and he saw a Water stone.
"What is that?" Makuson said.
"A water stone... We wasted our time and risked our lives, for a stone you can buy in a store for 50 Pokedollars?" Matt yelled.
"This is how you save money," Makuson said. He picked up the stone, and got an idea.
"Go, Eevee!" Makuson yelled while throwing a pokeball. A fluffy brown pokemon appeared.
"I get it," Matt said.
"Take this," Makuson said handing eevee the waterstone. Eevee happily accepted it and began to glow a bright white light.
"Its evolving," Matt said. after the light dissapeared, and blue fish-like pokemon appeared.
"Vaporeon!" The fish like pokemon exclaimed.
"Return vaporeon!" Makuson exclaimed. He then held out a pokeball and his vaporeon vanished into a red light that went into the pokeball.
"Now lets get out of this cave," Matt said. After a bit of walking, they had made it to where they left Bolt and Misty. They ran threw the arrows again, and walked to the elevator. Once they got in, it began to go up. Once it reached the top, they walked out of the cave and towards the city. They had made it to Fuschia city, and they were ready to challenge the gym leader. They made it to the Fuschia Gym, and challenged the leader.
