"Great, we made it," Bolt said.
"Finally..." Makuson complained.
"The boats supposed to arrive in fifteen minutes, so what should we do until then?" Matt asked.
"Lets get some food," Makuson said.
"Hey look, theres a Deli over there," Garrus said. The four had made it to the Deli. It had brown walls, not many windows, and not a single customer in the store.
"Sandwiches!" Misty said.
"They look great," Matt added. The four walked over to the counter and ordered five sandwiches.
Nine minutes have past, and the four are at the docks waiting for the boat. The five the heard a loud horn, and looked toward the direction. There they saw a giant cruise ship heading towards them. It had atleast twenty floors, and was about as long as a football field.
"Whoa..." Garrus said.
"Its huge," Bolt added.
"Come on, lets get on!" Matt said. They had made it on the ship, and were lead to a room. Each room only two beds, so they settled with two rooms. Garrus and Bolt slept in one, Matt, Makuson, and Misty were in the other.
"Your sleeping on the couch!" Misty yelled.
"No you are!" Makuson yelled back. Matt was already asleep in one of the beds, so Makuson and Misty fought over who gets the bed. Misty then pulled out a mallet, and threatened Makuson. After a lot of fighting, Makuson ended up sleeping on the couch.
"Goodnight..." Makuson said angrily. After a while, everyone was asleep.
"So, what should we do with him?" Someone asked.
"Lets just drop him off here, he's of no use to us." Someone else answered.
"What?" A Familiar voice said. The boy then opened his eyes, to see he was being carried to the door of a helicopter by two people.
"we're dropping you off Makuson, Your too dangerous to keep around Team rocket." The second man said.
"Let me go!" Makuson yelled. He eventually struggled his way out. The second man tried to tackle him, but he was too quick and dodged the attack. The first man then ran at Makuson from behind, and tackled him to the ground. He picked him up, walked over to the side of the helicopter, and threw him out.
"AHHHH!" Makuson screamed. He was on a couch, in a cruise ship.
"WHATS GOING ON?" Matt yelled. He jumped up holding all of his pokeballs in his hand.
"Nothing, just a dream..." Makuson said.
"Oh, I thought we were being attacked..." Matt said.
"By Pirates?" Makuson asked.
"Dont put those thoughts in my head..." Matt said. The two then fell back asleep, and after a few hours, woke up. It was 6:30 in the morning and Matt and Makuson had just woke up. Misty woke up a few minutes after them. After a while, they left their room and knocked on the other door. Matt used one of his room keys to open it, and when he had, he found Bolt and Garrus sleeping in their own beds. Garrus was face down into his pillow, and Bolt was heavily snoring. Makuson and Matt eventually woke them up, and after waiting in the hall for a few minutes, everyone was ready to leave.
"So, what time do we get to cinnabar?" Makuson asked.
"Ten minutes I think," Matt answered. After the time had passed, they had made it off the cruise ship, and onto Cinnabar Island.
"Lets get to the gym!" Makuson yelled.
"We should get to a Pokemon Center first." Matt said. After a bit of looking, they found the Cinnabar Island Pokemon Center. The five handed all of their pokeballs to Nurse Joy, and sat at a nearby table.
"So, what type of pokemon does this leader use?" Bolt asked.
"I'm pretty sure he uses Fire Pokemon," Matt answered.
"Great, Squirtle and Vaporeon will be great!" Makuson said.
"Hmm, I dont really have a good type, ill just stick with Aerodactyl." Matt said.
"Ill use my Pidgeot," Garrus explained. The nurse then called them to the desk, they recieved their pokeballs, and they headed to the Gym.
"Here it is!" Makuson said. He then rushed towards the doors. When he arrived, he opened them, and there they saw a man standing at the opposite side of a Pokemon Battle field.
"Are you three challengers?" The man asked. He had a White lab coat, a white moustache, glasses, and not much hair.
"Yes, Me, Makuson, and Garrus have come for a Gym Battle!" Matt said.
"Very well, I am Blaine, the Cinnabar Island Pokemon Gym Leader. We will have a three individual matches. One pokemon each." Blaine explained.
"Ill go first," Garrus said. He then stepped up to the Battlefield, and threw out his pokeball.
"Go, Pidgeot!" Garrus yelled. A Brown bird pokemon then appeared.
"Pideot!" Pidgeot yelled.
"Go, Magmar!" Blaine yelled.
"Mag..." Magmar said.
"Let the battle begin!" Blaine yelled.
"Pidgeot, Gust!" Garrus yelled.
"Magmar, counter and use Fireblast!" Blaine yelled. Pidgeot launched powerful winds at Magmar, but Magmar simply moved to the side and launched a line of fire straight towards the now unguarded Pidgeot. It was a direct hit, Pidgeot fell to the floor, but soon after, stood up.
"Pidgeot, Try a whirlwind attack!" Garrus yelled.
"Fireblast," Blaine ordered. Magmar quickly launched another line of fire at Pidgeot. Pidgeot then created a whirlwind and launched it at the fire. The whirlwind consumed the fire, and it was headed straight towards Magmar.
"QUICK DODGE IT!" Blaine yelled. It was too late, the Flaming Whirlwind hit Magmar.
"Magmar!" Blaine yelled. He ran over to his pokemon, and put it back in its pokeball.
"I won!" Garrus yelled.
"Yes, you have won the match, Here is your gym badge." Blaine said handing Garrus the Cinnabar Gym's Gym Badge.
"Who will be next?" Blaine asked. Matt stepped up and answered.
"I will," Matt replied.
"Go, Aerodactyl!" Matt yelled. A Purple dragon pokemon then appeared out of a bright red light.
"Go, Arcanine!" Blaine yelled. A Flaming Tiger pokemon was revealed.
"Let the match begin!" Blaine yelled.
"Aerodactyl, Bite!" Matt ordered.
"Arcanine, Flamethrower!" Blaine commanded. Aerodactyl flew towards the Arcanine, and Arcanine launched a Flamethrower attack. Aerodactyl simply flew around the attack,
and when it reached Arcanine, bit down hard on its nose.
"ARRRRRR!" The tiger pokemon screeched. It then fell to the floor, with the aerodactyl still biting on its nose.
"Aerodactyl, thats enough." Matt said. The dragon pokemon let go of Arcanine and flew back towards Makuson.
"Arcanine..." Blaine said. He then recalled his Arcanine, and walked over to Matt.
"That is an amazingly strong pokemon," Blained Complimented. He then pulled out a badge and handed it to Matt.
"Thanks." Matt said. He then recalled his Aerodactyl and headed towards where the others were.
"You will be my last challenger," Blaine said pointing at Makuson.
"Right," Makuson said.
"Go, Rapidash!" Blaine yelled. A Flaming horse pokemon was revealed from a bright red light.
"Perfect, Go Wartortle!" Makuson yelled. A Blue Turtle pokemon appeared out of its pokeball, and stood strong.
"Let the match, BEGIN!" Blained yelled.
"Wartortle, watergun!" Makuson yelled.
"Rapidash, Agility!" Blained ordered. The turtle pokemon launched a spray of water at the Rapidash, but it quickly dissapeared and reappeared near wartortle.
"Flamethrower!" Blaine yelled.
"Jump up, Quick!" Makuson yelled. The horse launched a powerful flamethrower, while the turtle pokemon barely dodged it.
"Try it again!" Blaine yelled.
"Use Hydro pump!" Makuson ordered. The Rapidash launched a powerful line of flames, while Wartortle launched a powerful steam of water. The two attacks collided at once,
and smoke clouds appeared all around the stadium. Eventually, the pokemon were revealed, both barely standing, but still in the match.
"Rapidash, Tackle!" Blained yelled.
"Dodge it, and use a Watergun!" Makuson yelled. The Rapidash quickly sprinted towards the Wartortle, but when it reached, Wartortle jumped in the sky. The turtle pokemon then released a strong stream of water right at Rapidash. The Rapidash quickly fell to the ground and had fainted.
"Good job, return!" Blaine yelled.
"Nice one wartortle, Return" Makuson yelled. The two pokemon were returned into their pokeballs, and Blaine walked over to Makuson.
"Here, you have earned this." Blaine said, handing Makuson a gym badge.
"Thanks," Makuson said. The five then left the gym and headed to their next destination, Viridian City.
