"Thank you, Your pokemon will be healed in a moment," Nurse joy explained, taking the pokeballs away.
"So, who's gonna challenge the leader first?" Matt asked.
"I will!" Makuson exclaimed joyfully.
"Fine, i'll view the leaders stratedgy while you fight." Garrus said.
"You think you can beat him that easily?" Bolt asked.
"How hard can it be?" Makuson asked. The five recieved their pokemon, and headed to the Viridian Gym. Once they arrived, Makuson opened the door, and their he saw a man with an orange suit, sitting in a chair, petting a persian.
"Are any of you challengers?" The man asked.
"We are," Makuson, Matt, and Garrus answered.
"Very well," The man said. He stood up, and headed towards the three. Misty and Bolt sat in a bench that was nearby. The man introduced himself as Giovanni, and placed three gym badges on the near table.
"Ready?" Giovanni asked.
"Me first," Makuson said.
"No, all three of you at once." Giovanni said.
"Are you sure? Thats not even fair," Matt said.
"Dont worry," Giovanni said confidently.
"Whatever, Go, Pidgeot!" Bolt yelled.
"Go, Wartortle!" Makuson ordered.
"Go, Ivysaur!" Matt Commanded.
"Go," Giovanni said, throwing three pokeballs into the air. A Kingler, a Rhydon, and a Arcanine appeared.
"Wartortle, use Water gun on Arcanine!" Makuson ordered.
"Ivysaur, use vinewhip on Kingler!" Matt commanded.
"Pidgeot, use Gust on Rhydon!" Garrus commanded. Watertortles watergun hit Arcanine straight on. It fainted Instantly. Ivysaur's Vinewhipe picked up Kingler and threw it on the ground. It had also fainted instantly. Pidgeot's Gust took out Rhydon with one hit also. The three thought this was too east. However, Wartortle and Ivysaur both began to glow a bright light.
"They are Both Evolving!" Matt said. After a while, a Blastoise and a Venasaur appeared. Both of the pokemon said their names in Confidence.
"That was TOO easy," Garrus said.
"Now!" Giovanni yelled. A Cage fell around Makuson, Garrus, and Matt. Another smaller cage fell around Misty and Bolt.
"What is this!" Makuson yelled.
"Well, your pokemon appear to be very strong. We would like to have them." Giovanni explained.
"Never, why would we give you our pokemon!" Matt yelled.
"I thought you'd say that." Giovanni said. He then snapped his finger, and about sixty Team Rocket with guns ran into the room. All the guns were pointed directly at Makuson, Matt, and Garrus' cage.
"What should we do...?" Garrus asked.
"Crap, We're in a bad situation." Matt said.
"We'll use our pokemon," Makuson said. He threw out his Golem, and ordered it to break the cage, It quickly began to open the cage bars with its strength. All of the Team Rocket agents began to shoot the golem rapidly.
"Don't worry Makuson, he's made of pure rocks, he won't be affected by the bullets" Matt said.
"Great, Golem, Protect us from the bullets!" Makuson ordered. The three proceded to hide behind Golem, quickly running to Misty and Bolt's cage. Graveler easily broke the metal bars, and the five proceded to run for the exit. A team rocket member with an uzi jumped infront of the door and aimed the gun at Makuson.
"I have an idea, Makuson Use those powers!" Matt said.
"Right!" Makuson said. He put his hands infront of him, and a ball began to form. He launched it at the Rocket, and he went flying through the exit.
"Wait, our gym badges!" Garrus said.
"we can't leave without those!" Makuson yelled. He then ran out into the fire, and glew a bright light. Many bullets hit him, but they simply deflected and hit walls.
Makuson then screamed, and a Giant ball was launched at the entire rocket army. All of the team rocket members, including Giovanni, went flying in all different directions.
Makuson ran up to the table with the badges, Grabbed the three badges, and Ran for the door. They had made it outside, and slammed the door shut. But when they turned around, they saw more rockets aiming guns at them.
"Crap!" Makuson yelled. All of the rockets shot rapidly at them, right when the bullets were about to hit, Makuson screamed. A bulletproof ball appeared all around them.
"What happened!" Misty asked.
"Looks like I have more powers" Makuson said.
"Sweet, that could come in handy!" Matt said. Makuson then jumped up out of the ball, and launched a wind ball straight towards the army, They all went flying in different directions. Makuson then landed safely inside the ball, and it began to fade.
"Oh yea," Makuson said. He then handed each Garrus and Matt a Gym Badge.
"Do you think we earned these?" Matt asked.
"Of course, it was a three on three, we won" Garrus said.
"True," Matt said.
"So, where should we go now?" Makuson asked.
"I dont know, the Pokemon league is still a month away." Misty said.
"How about we go back to Pallet Town?" Matt asked.
"But where?" Bolt asked.
"I live in Pallet Town, we could stay at my house until the Pokemon League Starts" Matt said.
"Sounds great, and we could do some training while we wait" Makuson said.
"Lets get going," Garrus said. The five began to walk to Pallet Town, waiting for the Pokemon League to begin.
