Makuson, Misty, Bolt, and Garrus sat on the couch watching television, while Matt was upstairs reading a newsletter from the pokemon league.
"AHHHH" The four heard from upstairs. They quickly ran up the stairs to see Matt staring at a piece of paper.
"What happened?" Makuson asked concerned.
"Well, it says that you need six pokemon to compete in the Pokemon League" Matt explained.
"WHAT? But we only have three each!" Makuson screamed.
"I know..." Matt said.
"Well then we have to catch three pokemon each within the next few hours" Garrus said.
"Right" Makuson and Matt agreed. The three quickly ran outside of pallet town and ran into the forest.
"They'll never learn" Misty said.
"Nope..." Bolt agreed. The two went back inside and continued to watch Television.
"Ok, lets split up" Makuson said. The other two agreed, and they all went seperate ways.
"Well, where can I find a pokemon..." Makuson wondered. While he was thinking, a butterfly pokemon flew over his head.
"Whats that..." Makuson asked himself. He then pulled out his pokedex.
"Butterfree, the Butterfly pokemon. This pokemon evolves from a cacoon at a low level" A computerish voice explained.
"Butterfree eh?" Makuson grinned. "Go, Blastoise!" Makuson commanded. Blastoise appeared out of a bright white light.
"Blastoise!" The turtle pokemon said.
"See that butterfree over there? We have to catch it. Try to weaken it, but dont go all out" Makuson explained. Blastoise nodded and shot a small watergun at the Butterfree. It fell from the tree and landed on the ground.
"Go, pokeball!" Makuson yelled. The ball landed on the Butterfree and began to shake. It continued to shake until it finally stopped. Makuson had caught a Butterfree.
"Great, that leaves only two more to go" Makuson said. He then began to wander off with blastoise at his side.
After a few minutes, Makuson spotted another pokemon.
"What pokemon is that..." Makuson questioned himself, pulling out his pokedex.
"Spearow, the bird pokemon. This pokemon gets very angry very fast, unlike pidgey" A robotic voice spoke.
"Blastoise, Watergun!" Makuson ordered. The turtle pokemon fired a gun of water at Spearow, the pokemon was knocked out with the first hit. Makuson then threw a pokeball and waited for it to click. After about 10 seconds, it did.
"Great, only one more to go." Makuson exclaimed in joy.
"Blastoise!" Blastoise yelled.
"I wonder how the other two are doing..." Makuson wondered. "Ah nevermind that, I have to catch that last pokemon" Makuson had been wandering for hours now. It was beginning to get dark.
"I can't find any pokemon..." Makuson said. Immediatly after saying that, a pokemon ran up to Makuson and hid behind his leg. Two rocket grunts ran towards Makuson and stopped about 5 feet away.
"Hey, ITS YOU!" One of the grunts screamed.
"Do I know you?" Makuson asked confused. The other grunt pulled out a wanted poster with Makusons Name and Picture on it. The prize for capturing him was 100,000 Poke-Dollars.
"Thats a lot of money..." Makuson said.
"How did I get wanted for so much?" Makuson asked. The rocket grunt pulled out 2 more posters of both Matt and Garrus Matt had the same bounty as Makuson, and Garrus had 90,000.
"What do you guys want?" Makuson said.
"We want that pokemon behind your leg, and since your worth a 100,000 bounty, we want you also" One of the grunts spoke. Makuson looked behind his leg to notice a tiny pink pokemon standing there. Makuson pulled out his pokedex and examined it.
"Clefairy, the space Pokemon. This pokemon is believed to come from another planet. It is one of the only pokemon to use a Moon Stone to evolve." The pokedex spoke.
"A Clefairy, What do you want it for?" Makuson asked.
"We want it to show us the location of the Moon Stone." The grunt said.
"Well if thats what you want, I'm afraid I can't let you have it." Makuson said. He then threw a pokeball with butterfree inside.
"Butterfree, Confusion!" Makuson ordered. The butterfree confused the two rocket grunts, Makuson picked up clefairy and began to run. Before he could get far, a third Rocket Grunt jumped infront of him with a rhydon by his side.
"Rhydon, Horn Drill" The grunt commanded. Rhydon attempted to attack Makuson with its horn, but he moved out of the way. He then placed clefairy on the ground, moved both of his hands infront of him, and fired a great blast of wind. Rhydon and the grunt were sent flying away.
"Clefairy, do you want to join my team?" Makuson asked.
"Clefairy!" It exclaimed. Makuson then tapped it with a pokeball, and he had caught 6 pokemon. He began to walk back to Matt's House. By the time he got there, it was pitch black outside. He knocked on the door, and Matt opened it.
"What took you so long?" Matt asked. Makuson looked into the room to see Garrus there also.
"When did you two get here?" Makuson asked.
"A couple of hours ago." Garrus said.
"WHAT? How did you catch 3 pokemon so fast?" Makuson asked.
"Skill, something you dont have" Garrus said.
"Shut up Garrus." Makuson said.
"So, what pokemon did you catch?" Matt asked Makuson.
"A Butterfree, a Spearow, and a Clefairy" Makuson said.
"A Clefairy? Aren't those etremely rare?" Garrus asked.
"Yup, found it running away from a couple of rockets" Makuson exclaimed.
"Well, I caught a beedrill, a Rhydon, and a Growlithe" Matt said.
"What about you Garrus?" Makuson asked.
"I caught a Gloom, a Victrebell, and a Machoke" Garrus explained.
"Great, so we're ready for the pokemon league" Makuson said.
"Pretty much" Garrus said.
"The Tournament begins tommorow at 4:00pm" Matt said.
"Great, I'm gonna win the hole thing" Makuson said.
"No way" Garrus argued.
"You'll both lose since I'm in it" Matt said.
"No way, I'm definetly gonna win this!" Makuson said.
