"Theres no way to tell, but Silver seems like a good trainer." Matt explained.
"After the next two battles, were gonna have to go against eachother." Makuson said.
"Yeah, I hope you've improved since our last battle." Matt teased
"Last time we fought, I just got my Squirtle, this time will be different." Makuson said.
"We'll see. I'm a bit worried about Garrus though," Matt pondered.
"Why? Silver seems like a normal trainer." Makuson asked in concern.
"Well, I did some research on him last night. He has come in second place three tournaments in a row." Matt replied.
"Damn.. Should we tell Garrus?" Makuson asked.
"I think It'd be best if we didn't." Matt answered.
"Alright..." Makuson agreed. Two hours have passed, and Makuson and the others are sitting in the audience waiting for the battle to begin.
"Will both competitors please get on the battlefield, the match is about to begin!" An announcer yelled. Someone walked out from the right side, walking towards the Trainer Box.
"That must be Silver," Bolt said.
"Yup." Matt agreed. Silver stood in the Trainers Box waiting for Garrus. He had a red shirt, blue pants, and a black coat with only one arm through a sleeve. About as tall as Matt, with black boots,
and spikey black hair. He had an Eevee standing near him, eagerly awaiting its opponent. Finally, Garrus stepped out of the other entrence, and walked up to the trainer box.
"Each side has two pokemon each, once both pokemon on either side have fainted, the other side wins. Let the battle begin!" The announcer yelled.
"Go, Pikachu!" Garrus yelled. He threw a pokeball, and an Electric Mouse came out of a white light.
"Eevs." Silver said. Eevee ran onto the battlefield, prepared.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Garrus yelled.
"Sand-Attack!" Silver ordered. Pikachu used thunderbolt, but didn't make contact due to the Sand-Attack.
"Quick attack!" Silver commanded.
"Pikachu Dodge it!" Garrus yelled. Eevee ran at top speed towards Pikachu, and before Pikachu could move, it was sent back flying.
"Its speed is incredible." Matt said.
"This battle won't be easy.." Garrus said to himself.
"Pikachu, Iron Tail!" Garrus commanded.
"Dodge it and Tackle!" Silver ordered. Pikachu charged towards eevee and swung its tail. Eevee jumped out of the way and tackled Pikachu without anyone being able to see the speed.
Pikachu landed infront of Garrus, unconcious.
"Good Job Eevs." Silver said.
"Pikachu Return!" Garrus yelled.
"One pokemon down already," Makuson said.
"And Eevee doesn't even have a scratch." Matt added.
"I hope Garrus has a plan." Bolt said in worry.
"Pidgeot, Go!" Garrus yelled. Garrus threw out a pokeball, and a large bird came out of a white light.
"Eevs, Quick Attack." Silver ordered.
"Blow it away with gust!" Garrus commanded. Eevee charged at Pidgeot, but Pidgeots gust sent it flying away.
"Eevs Bite!" Silver ordered.
"PIdgeot, fly up higher!" Garrus commanded. Pidgeot flew up into the sky, but Eevee was still charging. When Eevee got below Pidgoet, it jumped straight up into the air and bit Pidgeots wing.
"Pidgeot!" Garrus yelled.
"How can an Eevee jump that high!?" Makuson asked in shock.
"He must've trained it well," Matt repleid. Due to a damaged wing, Pidgeot fell to the ground, but stood up shortly after.
"Crap, with that damaged wing, Pidgeot cant do much." Garrus said.
"Wait a minute," Garrus thought to himself.
"Crap, now what. Theres no chance of him winning!" Bolt said.
"Looks like its over. Eevs, Tackle!" Silver yelled.
"Pidgeot, Roost!" Garrus yelled. Pidgeot raised its wings, and began to heal itself. After it healed, it flew up in the air and dodged Eevee's tackle.
"This'll be interesting." Silver said.
"Pidgeot, Gust!" Garrus yelled. Pidgeot blew a gust of wind towards Eevee, and sent it back towards Silver.
"Are you alright Eevs?" Silver asked. Eevee stood in reply.
"Pidgeot, Quickattack!" Garrus yelled.
"You too Eevs." Silver ordered. Both pokemon charged towards eachother at top speed. When they collided, Pidgeot fell back towards Garrus, and Eevee barely had a scratch.
"That Eevee is so powerful." Misty said.
"Garrus will lose at this rate," Matt said.
"Pidgeot, are you alright?" Garrus asked. Pidgeot tried to get up, but fell back down. Pidgeot had fainted.
"Pidgeot has Fainted, Silver wins the match!" The announcer yelled.
"Good Job Eevs." Silver said. Eevee ran over to Silver and walked out of the arena with him.
"Damn, he lost," Makuson said. The 4 head towards the gate where Garrus would be, and eventually met him.
"Garrus, you did well." Matt said.
"Well, not well enough." Makuson added.
"Shut up Makuson." Garrus said. "I lost, but I'll still cheer you on Matt.
"Matt and?" Makuson asked.
"I'm hoping you lose." Garrus replied. Someone suddenly walked up to the group, and put out his hand to Garrus.
"Good Match." Silver said.
"Yeah," Garrus agreed, shacking his hand.
"After the next battle, aren't you two fighting?" Silver asked, looking at Matt and Makuson.
"Yeah, we've fought once before, but that was when I first started my journey." Makuson replied.
"I see, Good luck to both of you." Silver said. He then walked away with Eevee at his side.
"Well Matt, Lets give it our all." Makuson said.
"Alright." Matt agreed. The Six than split up and went to their own rooms, awaiting Matt and Makuson's battle.
