3. Chapter 02: Chaos Through Central City

Well folks I been busy with working on some new and exciting ideas for this Sonic story, especially with the new Sonic stuff that's been going around: the comic, TV shows, and film, you name it. And now here's something I hope many will get the chance to enjoy, I gotta be honest, when I was coming up with something to catch one's attention, I really pulled out all the stops. If you got a wild imagination to picture what's about to happen, then just ENVISIONING it will be a wild and crazy experience.

And as an extra bonus, there will be more Sonic character introductions. And I think we'll have quite the time of who's making an appearance. Until then, kick back, relax, and enjoy yourselves for a real treat…

Chapter 02: Chaos Through Central City

SOMEWHERE IN THE SKIES

The scene slowly shows something moving through the cloudy skies, it was in truth a large warship that was currently invisible to all. This was the Egg Carrier which was flying while being in a cloak state. The scene zooms in to find Leo within another area aboard the warship that became his own. It was a new chamber station recently redesign that was once the lab chamber that was meant to perform robotic tuning upgrades. Only now it was made into a larger assemble line with some repair table or capsule chamber for any robots in need of repairs. Leo was by a computer monitor with some control keys for typing that was currently displaying sorted data. Most of which had data on previous robot enemies that Leo took down: E-Series, GUN Series, even Gizoid Series. The specs were all there, Leo had some area of taking certain parts and trying to piece together new images, followed by a customization program.

"Hello Leo…" Nicole appears virtually to find Leo's current location. "Might I ask what you're doing?" Nicole asked as the lynx noticed that Leo was busy with some work.

"Ah yes, I was just finishing up some new robot designs. I could use someone else's opinion on how it looks?" Leo stated on needing help with what he was trying to create as his first robot unit.

"It appears to be worked very well detail. Shall I begin the construction line?" Nicole looked over the digital layouts while pondering if one should start constructing such helpers around the ship.

"Yes, the sooner the better." Leo replied from wanting to get started, it'll take more then him and a holographic AI to run a warship this big by themselves.

Nicole began to access the now dubbed Robot Assemble Factory, and the robotic arms began to move and take in components of metallic sheets, bolts, wires, and a few other parts. The assemble was slowly having the parts made while going through a traction while taking the finish products to begin putting them together and constructing robot body parts. When they were finished, the robot grapple arms reach to place each new bot in a line-up.

The first of these robots looks like a Gizoid model except in a more King Lion design feature. Had yellow exoskeleton limbs, orange armor, brown chest, knees, and wrist with red shooter blasters. A light blue visor, white antennas sticking from the backside areas: back knee-joint, shoulders, and backhead.

The first of Leo The Lion's new robot series: the L-Series. The exo-frame structure of the earlier Gizoid models were the first portion design for the body layout. The wheel addition was an inspired part from the E-100 Series for land mobile ability: even a Vehicle Mode four paw wheels for speed. This model version: Leo Bandit, was given range weaponry from a redesign Laser Blaster weapon from E-102 Gamma, allowing for rapid-fire rifle shots.

Next up, another robot resembling a Gizoid model except a more Saber-Tooth Tiger design feature. Had dark blue exoskeleton limbs, tan yellow armor, yellow knees and wrist with some white bolts on them. Had two blue claw blades on the right wrist and a small fist wrist on the left hand, wore a blue belt, and had a green visor.

This model version: Leo Hunter, was given close melee weaponry from redesign Gizoid Laser Claws and E-100 Alpha's powerful fist, wielding a sword in the right hand for slicing and a hammer wrist fist on the left hand.

"Looks like I just acquired some rewards." Leo stated from what the pop up screen revealed to him for having perform this task. "Hmmm…Display Status?" He rubs his chin to request seeing what his current strength is at now.

That's when the GUN Scouter that Leo carried on him projected a holographic image of Leo's current stats:

"A small boast to my stats, it's not bad? And I'm nearly at Level 45, I'm almost to the Level 50 gap. I wonder what happens when I reach it?" Leo held his chin from seeing how much stronger he's become after performing a special task.

But such things would be put on hold as Leo heard the running system begin to cease operation on robot construction: most likely finished the order on the available materials, etc. After the factory assembly was finished making about 40 robot crewmembers, they all began to spread out to perform task that needs maintenance. As Leo and Nicole were leaving with a satisfied job, the holo-lynx yelped from receiving a signal through the warship.

"Incoming, there appears to be a strong energy readings, matching the power of chaos." Nicole stated on what the warship's system was helping her to detect. "The most logical assumption base on the carrier's old databanks suggest this may be an item called a Chaos Emerald." Nicole explains what this sort of energy was, and it's possible ties are from a famous jewel item.

"A Chaos Emerald!?" Leo looked to Nicole in shock at what she said, but tried to regain himself. "I expected things could be tricky, but to detect a Chaos Emerald upon the route we've taken when having left the island?" This was a lot for the lion man to take in: he expected the Chaos Emeralds exist in Sonic's world but to find one so soon? "How close are we?" He asked Nicole for a destination where the emerald can be found.

"We're on route now." Nicole stated that at their present course, the airship will be near the Chaos Emerald's location.

"Hmmm, acquiring a Chaos Emerald is a very rare event, but…?" Leo started to pace around and rub his chin from thinking about this logically then rushing in. "The question might be not where the emerald is, but who has it? And can I even find out if I can obtain it?" Leo knew that if the Chaos Emerald is in the city, someone might be the current owner so they might not just give away such an important object willingly.

"I can imprint a tracker program in your Gun Scouter. That might help you if you're ever in the presence of emeralds that give off energy." Nicole suggest a means of what can help Leo along the way to find the Chaos Emeralds.

"Yes, that could help in the long run for future events. But there's another problem." Leo stated on agreeing to Nicole's idea but his attention was focus elsewhere. "This ship will draw too much attention. Followed by my appearance." Leo knew that if the cloak ship is exposed or folks see an animal species similar but different from Sonic's pals then they stick out like sore thumbs. "Being that I'm some kind of Ultimate Lifeform, and there might not be humanoid lionmen around, I'll get too much attention? Worse, I might get the wrong attention?" Leo was very concern that his appearance draws in others wanting to find, or worse, capture him for studies since technically he was an experiment of being an Ultimate Lifeform.

"You don't need to worry, the ship has a stealth function to be unseen to every radar, and to the public eye." Nicole calmly smiles and rest her hand to Leo's large hand for safe assurance. "As for your appearance, you could go in a disguise." She offered another advice on how the lion man can go without attracting unneeded attention.

"A disguise?" Leo repeated that suggestion, before realizing there were no other options. "Well, I suppose if there's not much choice. Maybe it's best if I transfer some SP to acquire some new abilities? It's been a while, I might gain new things." Leo exclaimed from thinking what can best help him grow even stronger then his current self.

"Searching…" Nicole stood by as her eyes flashed before a few seconds passed. "The scouter will display the current new abilities you can purchase." She stated on how Leo will be able to see and acquire some new feats.

That's when the Gun Scouter started to show digital holographic images of many things any RPG fans love. There were many things one can acquire if they have enough SP to spend and gain new Abilities and Skills.

"Nicole, some of these say that I can now evolve my current skill sets, even Combine them?" Leo mentions what he stumble across that sounds very surprising.

"Correct, some of them are capable of combining to unlock new abilities." Nicole nods her head to smile with assurance.

"I wonder?" Leo held his chin to think about this,; perhaps he may gain new things that can help him out. "Transfer some SP to evolve all my old Passive Abilities and combine those most susceptible. And to acquire new Skills to help me fight." Leo declared on what he wished to do so that his path will be easier.

That's when Leo and Nicole went through on finding those that could be perfect matches to make something new. And that's when the procedure began to appear on the holographic screen.

"Alright, let's review what I've gain?" Leo exclaimed from deciding to see the newest assembled bunch that'll be apart of his stats.

PASSIVE ABILITIES:

*Matador Lv.1: A low rank job focused on evasive dueling from combining eye Reception and Dodge passive skills together. It has skills that increases the user's status when they dodge their opponent's attacks.

*Great Hunter Lv.1: A high rank job from combining Woodcutting and Crafting. Has little compatibility with direct combat, and focuses on skills necessary for hunting, e.g., adapting to extreme environments, creating traps instantly, tracking prey, and the use of weapons. Skilled Hunters can use the environment to help craft survival needs of comfort or weapons, be it wood or stone.

*Armored Pilot Lv.1: A high rank job from combining Pilot and Engineer. Allows the user to pilot any types of vehicles with expertise experience like a skilled racer on the road, helmsman for a boat or sub, and ace pilot for aircrafts. SKILLS:

*Chaos Lance: An upgraded version of Chaos Spear, stunning enemies and damaging them, doing more damage than normal by exploding. Similar to the Chaos Spear but packs much greater power. When performing it, swings either arm in midair and fires a long red energy bolt at the opponents that explodes upon impact. The Chaos Lance can deal damage to enemies and paralyze at the same time. Charging them before release can deal more damage, enough to take down a large enemy/robot with one shot. However, it still cannot affect enemies that have their guard up. Additionally, it has a slightly lower range than the Chaos Spear, and even if fully charged, it will not split into two spears for enemies too close to the user.

*Beast King Fist Double: Similar to the Beast King Fist, but as another additional move. Launches an aura in the shape of a lion's head from the user's other fist. Making this attack a perfect combo move: deal double damage by firing Beast King Fist, then announce Beast King Fist Double to launch a second powerful blow afterwards. Deals the higher damage to a single target or two opponents, and counterattacks a surprise maneuver by the enemy.

"Alright, these should do." Leo nods from feeling that with these newly combined & advance passives and evolved stats then he may have a safer time: heck the numbers are over hundred to even his HP and MP over the thousand marks. "Maybe if I have a Chaos Emerald, I can practice and maybe unlock the Chaos Teleport skill?" The lion man was already thinking of the next skill to help him out.

"I am sorry, but apparently there are a few functions of what you can unlock with your current level." Nicole sadly shook her head to reveal this, as what was on the special puncture on the pop-up had some not highlighted to gain due to level restriction. "You need to grow stronger and also acquire other things that can be learn and unlock more abilities." The Holo-Lynx explains the only path left for Leo is to continue to get stronger.

"Noted." Leo nods upon understanding what Nicole was talking about. "Hmmm, I have only 3100 SP left, best not use it all at once just yet?" Leo noticed the remaining SP which he could boast his new abilities, but decided to save off on that. "Nicole, there is something I wonder now that I've finished this brief preparation?" As he said this he deactivated the Gun Scouter displaying the images.

"What's that?" Nicole asked from being curious here.

"Can this ship detect and locate Sonic the Hedgehog or any of his friends?" Leo ponders about such a possibility of meeting such characters within the Sonic Universe he lives in.

"Sadly the ship's memory data about Sonic and his companions were lost. The robots that were fixing the Egg Carrier might have saw little use for it." Nicole sadly shook her head, regretfully admitting they lack the data to even locate such folks.

"I see, we'll leave that for another time. Speaking of this ship, it needs a new name?" Leo exclaim while suddenly realizing the Egg Carrier needed to be changed.

"The warship has undergone much repairs while the stealth function was active, a new name for it's day view might be a nice touch." Nicole smiled to admit that such a step would help be a new start. "Have you thought of one?" She asked from willingly awaiting what Leo had for a new name for this ship.

"Well it's silly, but considering it's under the command of a lion, how about…" Leo held his chin to think this briefly before he reveals his personal choice. "Leo Carrier?" When he said that, Nicole's eyes shine for a brief moment.

"Acknowledge – Rename Egg Carrier Complete." Nicole spoke with a computerized voice as if she was running a system reboot course before returning to normal. "The Leo Carrier is now fully ready." Nicole proudly announced the ship can be ready for whatever task the captain requires.

"Alright, first order of business." Leo nods before getting into a look of determination. "Enter the city and locate a Chaos Emerald, and finally comeback while trying to draw as little attention as possible." Leo revealed the plan on every careful step they need to take. "Now, how will I go down if the ship is in the air?" That was the trick, if they move in too closely even folks would hear a loud engine and become suspicious.

"I may actually have a way. I am connected to the warship now." Nicole stated as her eyes flash briefly before digital lines appeared. "And I believe I found a way to get you there and not be noticed." When she said this, Leo was curious on what the lynx girl meant.

NEW LOCATION: CENTRAL CITY

The scene opens to a capital city known as Central City. This city has seen many dangers in the past, but after every threat life continues on. Somewhere around was a shopping district, where daily folks go to deal with their needs. On sight we spot some familiar characters in the Sonic world.

First up was a tall, cream-furred anthropomorphic rabbit with a white muzzle that possess a small brown nose, brown eyes and a tuft of dark orange hair on the forehead. Has brown eyelids and dark orange markings around the eyes and on the ends of the lopped ears. For attire, wears a long lavender dress with a white trim at the bottom of the puffy sleeves and the skirt, a burgundy-fitted vest with golden buttons, a blue or orange ascot, white gloves with gold cufflinks, burgundy low-heeled shoes with a yellow detail and gray soles, and pink lipstick.

Vanilla the Rabbit

Second was a small, cream-furred, anthropomorphic rabbit child with cinnamon-brown eyes, a small brown nose, and a white muzzle. Has princeton orange markings around the eyes, on the head and at the ends of the ears. Also has one long eyelash on each eye, and a short, fluffy tail that sticks out of the dress, though it is not always visible. For attire, wears a simple sleeveless vermilion dress with a white collar and a light blue cravat, white gloves with a golden cufflink on each cuff, white socks, and vermilion and yellow slip-on shoes with gray soles. The ears also have pink-colored canals, and are usually swiveled back and flop behind the head.

Cream the Rabbit

Lastly was the appearance of a species about 40 cm tall called a Chao. This one has light lapis blue and has light honey mustard yellow markings at the tip of the head, hands, feet and tail. A bulb-shaped head, lapis blue eyes, a floating light honey mustard yellow orb hovering above the top of the head, two light fuchsia magenta pink butterfly-like wings and a small circular tail. Lastly it wears a cherry red bow tie.

Cheese the Chao

"Let's see now, we seem to have finished just about our entire list? Cream, is there anything you like?" Vanilla asked her daughter with a refine and kind ladylike tone to her daughter.

"Well, how about something for Cheese?" Cream asked from looking at her Chao friend of his needs.

"Chao!" Cheese flies over to point at a very interesting picture: it was a large rectangular light blue cake with frosting points resembling a Chao along pink wings on the sides, and lastly a happy Chao face.

"Oh ho my, you want to enjoy a famous Chao Cake, let's see?" Vanilla lightly laughs at what Cheese was hoping to try that looked tasty. "It says here that they only sell them in one place?" She read the instructions on where to find such a tasty treat.

"Only one place?" Cream raised an eyebrow surprised by the news.

"Yes, and it appears to be on the other side of the district?" Vanilla lightly rest her hands to her left cheek from contemplating such a distance. "What to do, we need to finish our shopping and get home to help with dinner?" They came for a few things, but they can't stay out too long or they'll miss supper.

"Maybe me and Cheese can help?" Cream smiled to happily offer aid which Cheese smiled at the idea.

"Well I suppose we could meet up, but Gemerl has another errand run and won't be here to help?" Vanilla rest her chin on an open palm while looking upwards, knowing that she would want someone to watch her daughter so she's not left unsupervised.

"Oh hey you guys!" Then the rabbit family turns to spot someone leaping from the second floor to land within a few feet of those present. A

An anthropomorphic ring-tailed lemur with primarily light gray fur and orchid purple eyes with a pretty face. Possesses one eyelash on each eye, a small black nose and a long bushy tail with gray stripes. Has gray fur around her muzzle and between her eyes, and dark gray fur around the sides of her eyes and on her eyelids and round ears. Also has extra fur on top of her head and chest, and small cheek tufts. For attire, wears a short-sleeved black bodysuit with dark orange stripes down the sides, an amber sleeveless top, and detailed amber hi-tops with white laces and soles, black details, and dark orange cuffs. Also wears amber sports tape around the forearms and fingerless black gloves made of black sports tape with dark orange backings.

Tangle the Lemur

"Miss Tangle!" Cream smiled to happily call to a friendly face. "Are you out shopping?" She asked what the lemur girl was doing at this shopping district.

"Ehh, sorta…I was planning to meet Whisper when she was done with some Wisp related stuff with her weapon." Tangle shrug off to smile a bit about the topic was something strange that she didn't know much about. "So I'm free for a while." Tangle issue that she's just kicking back and enjoying herself.

"Well if it's not too much trouble, could I ask you to watch Cream and Cheese to help finish our shopping? I need to pick up a Chao Cake." Vanilla politely ask Tangle for a little favor while she just heads off to pick up a nice dessert.

"Ooohh, I heard that cake is super good. Can I get a piece too if I help?" Tangle became super excited and happily asked to try some.

"But of course, here's the rest of what's left to get. Take care." Vanilla stated while giving Tangle a rolled up list: with that the mother rabbit walks off while her child stays beside the lemur.

"So this is what you got, let me pick that up." Tangle stated as she picked up the small bags that Cream and Cheese were carrying.

"Um, Miss Tangle, there's a few more." Cream stated to politely reveal there's more bags then these.

"Oh, how many more?" Tangle asked which Cream points to a shopping cart filled with loads of bags. "Oh, no problem, my tail can carry it." Tangle exclaim before using her stretchy tail to grab all the stuff. "Okay, let's go shop till we drop and then get some cake!" She cheered with youthful eagerness to help finish the shopping and get a tasty treat.

"Chao-Chao!" Cheese cheered happily with Cream smiling proudly at her friend's excitement.

But while everyone was enjoying their shopping day, a little further upwards in the city had another event occurring. Unknown to anyone, an invisible ship hovers to slowly descend near an empty dark alley. Afterwards, a green transportation beam was shot down, and what came out of it was a familiar lion man: Leo the Lion. But the guy wore a long dark tan emerald long sleeve overcoat, a large white shirt underneath and some dark red cabby hat. Without a doubt, Leo was wearing a disguise to blend in without drawing attention.

"Nicole, I'm in. The new transportation was a success." Leo spoke using the Gun Scouter device as a projection of Nicole was display before him. "Are we near the Chaos Emerald?" He asked to make certain the target was close by.

"The emerald is north of your location. I couldn't drop you off since there was little cover." Nicole responded with an answer to the question.

"Understood, the last thing we want is folks asking where I came from out of nowhere?" Leo exclaim on agreeing to the logic on such a subject. "Keep the ship out of sight, I'll find the emerald and come back to this location." He explains what the plan he's going to do and how he'll meet up later.

"Understood, be careful." With that, Nicole disappeared when the transmission ended.

Leo slowly walks out of the alleyway while trying to not draw attention. When he saw human faces he knew what to do. He pulled up a white mouth mask and wore sunglasses that completely cover the whole face. Well he knew what reaction anyone would get if they saw a lion face on a human shape body. But despite such extreme measures, Leo was sensing the stares of everyone around because he was a big guy covering himself up. There were some kids that pointed to say how silly the guy was, but mostly it was his weird shoes until the parents took their kids away from making a scene.

"Hugh, my first time being around people after finding myself in this Sonic Universe, and I'm already know as the weirdo weary furry paw shoes?" Leo signs under his breath from what's going on: the big problem was that there was nothing to cover the lion's feet even from the cover plate on top that went with his outfit. "I been heading further into the heart of the city, let's just see where…" Just before he could finish that sentence, he gets a call on his Scouter device.

"Leo, the emerald is right ahead on the next pass." Nicole spoke with her voice through the com-link to update Leo's direction course.

Knowing the emerald was near, Leo quickly rushes to turn at the next corner to enter an open street with connected businesses next door. And when heading for the '+' road section, Leo found something that was some popular corner section, as he slowly enters the sliding doors he found himself inside…a Jewelry Store. And what was stranger was encountering some kind of semi-humanoid robot that was white theme, had a three sphere wheel function, big eyes and a smile.

"Welcome dear customer, my name is Pepper, a social humanoid robot. We thanking you for choosing to shop at the finest jewelry store in Central City. Is there something you wish to buy?" The robot spoke with a friendly female voice.

"Um, well yes there is, but…" Leo was a bit surprised to end up meeting some sort of robot instead of a human being. "Are you the only one here? Where are the other staff?" The place had zero human staff members, which seem strange and no sign of guards to protect the jewel products.

"There was a recent announcement to all humans to leave for an emergency disaster drive event." Pepper exclaim to reveal why there were no other humans in the store. "This is due to G.U.N. making sure civilians never forget to quickly escape in case of major threats from Dr. Eggman or other strange abnormal foes or natural danger events." The robot explains how this precautious measure was made to remind folks on how to handle unknown danger that comes forth.

"Hmm, I suppose that makes sense?" Leo muttered from not finding any fault in that logic: to any Sonic Gamer, disaster in areas like a city filled with people has occurred more then once.

"Sir, is there something the matter? My emotion scans detect something in your tone?" Pepper asked from noticing a change in emotion that Leo was concealing.

"Sorry, I'm new around here, and I came to find a certain jewel." Leo stated on what he was looking for and things just been a new experience for him.

"There are plenty of products, all are natural craftsmanship. Which are you searching for?" Pepper request for a more specific description to narrow down the search.

"Something unique, rather larger then most of these one wears on their rings, wrist, ears and necklace. Something to fit in the palm of one's hand." Leo describes the object of what he is hoping to find but not mention the color.

"In that case sir, we have acquired this item recently. Follow me." Pepper stated as she moved towards a podium stand in the center of the room.

Leo was curious about what was brought in just recently, and followed Pepper to the center room with the podium stand covered up. When the drape cloth was removed, what was seen shinning was none other then a Chaos Emerald. This one was clearly the green model out of the other seven.

"It's here…I don't believe it? A real Chaos Emerald!?" Leo muttered under his breath before using the GUN Scouter: the readouts showed a 100% match that this was the real item and not a fake. "This gem, how much is it?" Leo asked to quickly get this emerald before he ends the risk of someone else buying it off if it's for sale.

"Given its natural size and unique craft, the price is estimated at 150,000." Pepper revealed the price of the object that was up for sale. "There's a sale deal and so the item is only be paid 140,000. Would you like to purchase by cash or credit?" Pepper explained a bargain while awaiting a response: now Leo had a tough decision to make especially when it's gonna be costly on the amount of his savings.

"Hmmm, it's expensive, but my current money balance seems like I can afford it. Now how to pay?" Leo scratch his chin from seeing this was tricky: he have to spend all his acquired cash amount but how can he deliver without it being suspicious to summon boats loads of coins.

"Leo, if I may, you been given a special card that can act as a transfer when you wish to spend your earnings." Nicole spoke through the com-link to inform the lion man of something he has to help in that area field.

"Ah, thank you. That might just be what I need." Leo replied from how fast Nicole prepared such things ahead of time. "I'll pay with credit." He showed his black platinum credit card from his pocket.

Once Pepper scanned the card, the screen on the chest displayed everything was okay on the transaction of payment. Then Pepper gently grabs the Chaos Emerald and hands it to Leo. The lion man signed because while he spent 140,000, he still had 10,000 Coin cash remaining.

"Do you want gift wrap inside a case? It's free." Pepper asked for another accommodation to please a customer.

"Hmm, I guess so? I hate to have this be seen by anyone." Leo stated on thinking that might be a good idea to not have the emerald be seen in public.

Once Pepper finished the gift wrapping the gemstone inside a case, Leo signed a bit from now holding the first Chaos Emerald outside of the game. Then a strange musical melody of trumpet was heard before a projection by the GUN Scouter revealed a surprise.

Information: Seven brilliant-cut gems with unlimited power in the colors green, red, blue, yellow, purple, turquoise and white.

They are seven ancient emeralds and secret stones tied to the Master Emerald that possess unlimited power. The Chaos Emeralds have been apart of numerous joys and sorrows since ancient times, being the center of countless world-threatening conflicts and targeted by multiple factions on earth and beyond, who seek them for their near-limitless powers. In the hands of villains they have been used for doomsday weapons and schemes for world domination, and in the hands of heroes they have been used to save the world. Over time, the Emeralds have been gathered multiple times, though they tend to scatter themselves after each usage and reset the hunt for them.

"So it appears that having one of the emeralds is crucial for a Key Quest Task?" Leo mutters under his breath after seeing this pop up screen. "What's more, it feels like holding this jewel is like holding a great responsibility on one's shoulder? But I also wonder…what happens when I have all seven in my possession?" Leo could tell where things may go, knowing how important the Chaos Emeralds are, what happens if he collects them all.

"Sir, would you like anything else?" Pepper spoke as if wanting to offer anything else the customer wants.

"No, I'm fine." Leo replied from knowing two things: he got the emerald and that's what matters.

*Chaos Boost: Increases the user's destructive power and makes them invincible to enemy attacks while they are using their own abilities. In this state, the user's durability is increased to the point where they're nearly invulnerable, and basic attacks are greatly enhanced. With the reserve of energy at one's disposal, are able to execute highly powerful and advanced chaos powers.

*Chaos Snap: The user performs Chaos Control to warp up in front of an enemy and either deliver a quick strike. Kicks and Punches are multiplied in power and speed, homing onto targets, and then warp to a chain of up to six enemies and attack. Dealing more damage to enemies over a greater range when landing several fierce hits, the force of this technique can destroy iron/steel defenses and break down rocks.

*Chaos Blast: An explosion of highly powerful Chaos Emerald energy that damages all that is within 10-20 yards. After charging the energy inside the body and firing it outside, which greatly damages, or even destroys, the enemy. Like other chaos powers, it can be powered up with the Chaos Emeralds to become even stronger. Warning: this technique is a double-edge sword, once it's over then the user needs time to recharge; not to mention keeping this power in any longer will only increase the power and deal extra damage even against powerful threats.

Requirements: Obtain a Chaos Emerald to unlock restriction on certain Chaos abilities. Only after reaching Level 50, will a Chaos Wielder be able to unleash the highest levels of Chaos Powers.

"These are…the best moves recorded that so far only one Ultimate Lifeform can do, and that's Shadow the Hedgehog?" Leo was baffled by this sudden announcement while not raising his voice for anyone or the robot Pepper to hear. "I recognize what Chaos Snap can do, it's ability warps is a smaller version of Chaos Control only this one focuses on striking opponents in a group. And that's but the start of what else I've acquired." Leo muttered under his breath quietly about the skills he has are pretty impressive stuff. "Nicole, have you seen this? I may have a shot at these when I level up more?" Leo awaited for a response of this major acquirement on his scouting eye-piece device, but… "Nicole?" The lion man didn't hear a replay, ponders if communication is working right.

"Thank you shopping, please do remember to come by again next tiiiiiiimmeeee…." Suddenly, Pepper was acting strange and speaking slowly as her lit up systems were shutting down and the robot body went into a slump state while standing.

"Something tells me that this is not normal?" Leo narrows his eyes, having a bad feeling about this. First Nicole isn't answering, now this robot shuts down, feels almost too much a coincidence.

Leo was exiting the jewelry store to step outside, and that's when something seem strange. The place was suppose to be full of people, but it was deserted. Perhaps what was heard about everyone leaving due to a disaster event practice procedure reminds the guy of practicing fire drills. For now the lion man had what he came for, but he couldn't contact his ship so now the only choice is to walk back. But then a weird beep noise was heard and getting louder.

"Hugh?" Leo suddenly reacted when he heard something: turns to find the area covered by explosive devices about to go off. "BRAVE SHIELD!" He roared out while suddenly summoning his Gun Shield out of nowhere.

"Kaboom!" Without warning, the mines exploded and covered the opening outside the jewelry store. When the smoke was clearing, Leo had managed to protect himself but much of the casual outfit he wore as a disguise was completely destroyed. But that was not over, loud military vehicles screech to stop near the area. Some appeared to be a large, strong armored personal carrier truck like the HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), a military motorcycle, huge van-looking armored transport vehicles, and even some black tanks. Coming out of some of the vehicles were human combatants that wore ballistic combat helmets with solid white visors concealing their identities. The standard model was black uniform with a ballistic vest. The major notice was a symbol on the helmets and a few of the vehicles that had the 'G' logo.

When using the GUN Scouter device, Leo still received data on those present:

The individual trooper that comprise the backbone of the Guardian Units of Nations, if not their robotic counterparts. Unlike other enemies, GUN soldiers talk and communicate with one another, in addition to yelling battle cries in combat. As G.U.N. is the equivalent of a U.S. Army, they act similarly to real soldiers; giving orders to attack, devising tactics, providing status reports and requesting assistance. While GUN Soldiers are dedicated and loyal, they are also stubborn. When issued to attack a target, they show no hesitation in going head-on against the threat. When a dangerous opponent defeats the troops, leaving them wounded on the ground, they will show mercy and beg the enemy to spare their lives, showing that they may only fear dying. GUN Soldiers are shown to take orders, rarely questioning them. The history when G.U.N. raided on the Space Colony ARK fifty years prior showed that the troopers in that time period had a merciless attitude towards their mission, unafraid to terminate nearly all the Ark's inhabitants. Their known arsenal for human personal are Knife, G.U.N. Shield, Sub-Machine Gun, Assault Rifle, Bazooka, Grenade Launcher, and RPG.

"No way, GUN?" Leo muttered in surprised, what are these people from GUN doing here of all places: and the stats on these guys seem pretty strong but it's probably due to the military arsenal they carry.

"Attention - You Are Surrounded!" The lead GUN Solider used a megaphone to call out to the lion man. "Surrender yourself and hand over the Chaos Emerald!" The man demands Leo follow through without question.

"What! Your kidding me? I just purchase this thing and your asking me to hand it over?" Leo protest from thinking this smelled awfully suspicious of this situation he's in. "If you wanted it then why didn't you just go in and BUY the thing?" He remarks forth, knowing there could have been an easier way then resolving with violence.

"We don't answer to dangerous threats. If you're not backing down then we will force our way through." The GUN Trooper declared what they will be force to do in this situation.

Leo was uncertain about this encounter of new enemy threats. Sure he's fought off against dangerous sea life predators and even robots when on that abandon GUN Island, but there were no human lives at risk. Now Leo has to fight off those that he use to be before being reincarnated into Sonic's world.

-MISSION QUEST-

OBJECTIVE: You are now about to face the soldiers of GUN, and they assembled a One-Hundred Man Unit for battle. Test your skills of survival by defeating all the GUN personal, including any vehicles that have some soldiers operating them. When going on an adventure, one must be ready to face the obstacles

"I don't believe this, now I have to fight people?" Leo raise an eyebrow at this surprise: apparently the system still works to give him Quest even when he can't reach Nicole. "Huuugh, and it's giving out special rewards to boot, so it's no joke." He signs from realizing this was all very real if rewards are added to the equation.

"Men, if he moves then open fire!" The GUN Soldier commanding the units over a 100 armed themselves.

"Ugh, so much for a simple grab and run?" Leo held his forehead to sign, knowing everything he planned after obtaining an emerald has gone up in smoke. "I should warn you, I'm a lot tougher then you think." He turns to gaze upon the GUN Soldiers as many in vehicles prepared their weaponries.

"Engage!" The GUN Soldier Commando waved a signal hand to begin the attack.

"Alright, let's rumble!" Leo declared as he pulls out his two weapons: Beast Fang and Scale Claw in each hand. "Rooooarrrrrr!" Leo lets loose a mighty lion's roar, staking his warrior's spirit on the line.

Soon Leo charges in and the 100 Man-Squad engages as the scene froze up at this moment. As if preparing both sides that are now engaging of who would win, the ones with quantity or the one with the quality.

ELSEWHERE

IN CENTRAL CITY

The scene opens to where entering another store was Cream and Cheese carrying a small bag. The two seem to be having a pleasant and fun time with some last shopping. And then coming in after was Tangle as she was hauling her tail like a line holding lots of shop bags. There must have been at most, maybe 10 to 20 bags being carrying by tail strength alone. Tangle looked like she was trying to keep her legs from wobbling as best she can.

"Pant…somehow I may have to take back what I said about shopping till we drop? This is more exhausting then battling Eggmans Robots?" Tangle signs to drop down while letting her long tail rest a bit.

"Don't worry Miss Tangle, the only thing left is to get some paint." Cream smiled to happily reveal that they are almost done with their shopping task.

"Oh, is that all? Okay, what color?" Tangle exclaimed from wanting to get what they came for and wrap this up.

"Um, I think it's tangerine and it's usually up on the high self?" Cream stated as she points up to where a tall shelf of paint were placed: Tangle had a worried expression that the last thing was up so high. "Shall I go get it? You look pretty tired?" Cream asked from noticing Tangle was struggling a bit and so she offered to step in.

"Oh no, no, I'm good, just give me a second and I'll spring back into action." Tangle sheepishly pretends to smile and stand up: showing her eagerness to not quit or appear pathetic.

"Okay then." Cream smiled as Tangle left the bags on the floor and used her tail to rope her way up 10 feet. "We're almost there Cheese, we just need to…?" That's when the rabbit girl noticed, Cheese was not near here. "Cheese, where did you go?" The rabbit girl asked where her little Chao went off to during this time.

"Chao-Chao!" Cheese cheered as he was seen flying on an empty paint can on it's side: which then began to roll with the Chao pretending it's like riding on a log but accidentally went out of the store.

"Cheese! Wait! We need to stick together!?" Cream called out to Cheese who was having too much fun to realize the situation, and the rabbit girl ran after him out of the store.

"Hey, I got it!" Tangle called out from holding a paint can, only to notice no one was below her. "Wait did they went by the cashier already? I better hurry, I'm suppose to be watching Cream and Cheese." The lemur girl had to get moving, she promised Vanilla and she can't break a promise.

BACK AT GUN AMBUSH TEAM

The scene reveals the outskirts view of the city, where at first things seem peacefully clam…

"HOWLING CRUSHER!" Then Leo's voice was heard announcing the name of his attack.

"KABLAM!/Waaaaaaahhhhh!?" Then a big explosion was seen outside the tall buildings followed by loud screaming voices of soldiers.

That's when zooming on the scene, one spots the wreck vehicles scattered around. There were about almost 50 soldiers that were spread around, apparently unconscious due to the explosive impact of what hit them.

"SLASH!" Then a slice mark appeared behind a tank in a horizontal style. "Creeeak…/crush!" That's when the top portion of the tank slipped off and hit the ground hard. That's when some soldiers in the tank panicked and began to runaway in fear. The other GUN Soldiers watched while looking worried and concern at the destruction done by one lonely lion man.

"How can this thing be so strong?" Gun Soldier Knife/Shield Wielder

"We weren't informed about this?" Gun Soldier Bazooka Wielder

"Quick, aim at its blind spot!" Gun Soldier Assault Rifle Wielder

That's when many that carried machine guns, rifles, bazookas, grenades, launchers, and RPG weapons open fire. But Leo turned in the direction of where the attacks were coming from while stabbing his swords in an abandon tank.

"Good plan, except for one thing…" Leo held up his right hand, as if preparing a familiar move on the scene. "CHAOS SPEARS!" As he yelled this out, yellow bolts appeared above before Leo swung his right hand which launch the energy arrows forth.

"BAM-BAM, BAM!/Gaaaaaa!?" The explosive impact of Leo's attack outperformed the enemy's own, as more GUN Soldiers were taken down.

Leo continued to use Chaos Spears to thin out the remaining GUN Soldiers and those that hid or tried to flea. When the smoke cloud cleared, all of the soldiers were lying around, beaten and unconscious.

"Urgh….contact base camp…" GUN Soldier Commando groans as he was seen crawling to a soldier with a radio device.

"Roger…Channel Open…ugh?" GUN Soldier Sub-Machine Gun Wielder replied to turn the device on for communication before passing out.

"Unit Wipeout…Send in…Secret Weapon…ooohhh?" GUN Soldier Commando spoke weakly in the mike, and with that he fell into an unconscious state.

"Well, that didn't take too long?" Leo stated from looking at the area; the place was messy but these guys started it first and he finished it up.

"It appears having taken down GUN Soldiers is not as difficult as one would expect?" Leo stated from how the battle went seem pretty much okay: then again he is 10 levels higher then the enemies present. "Then again, they are only human? The others were a lot harder base on hard settings on who or what they were. But I'm not sure?" The guy was trying to understand the difference, at least when he started out before having grown stronger up to his current position.

As Leo continued to think about the subject, he was also moving the unconscious bodies of the GUN Soldiers off the road to help keep traffic moving. Once those with life were moved away, all that remain were the busted vehicles and flames around the scene. When Leo re-equipped his swords, he studied the battlefield, and noticed this was more a normal military standards and no robot assistances.

"Still, this battle feels almost too easy. There were hardly any GUN Robots, or even some Trooper mechs for the soldiers. They should have anticipated better?" Leo scratched his chin after realizing the fight he won seemed almost staged. "For now I need to get in contact with my ship and Nicole with the emerald. Staying here any longer might invite more trouble." The guy theorized on the next step he should make now.

With deciding to leave the last cleanup to some officials, Leo was gonna leave the scene. But by the time he was making way pass a few scattered and busted GUN vehicles…his Scouter displayed something before him with alarm noises.

"Hugh, that's strange? Why would this appear unless…" Leo was not familiar with such a function until something began to click. "There's another battle, but what…?" He realized the Gun Soldiers was only the first opening, but what's the next one afterwards. That's when the Gun Scouter displayed a holographic screen with an alarm Quest subject.

Emergency Quest – Escape The City Sweeper

Objective: After defeating the GUN Soldiers, they are now preparing to unleash a secret weapon. The weapon it's self holds great power and defense, so fighting it head on is impossible. The only option left is to escape Central City. But be cautious as the massive weapon will pursue and won't stop until it reaches it's limit. Reach the docks after successfully getting away and suitable rewards will be given base on one's performance to survive from being chased across the entire city.

"Wait, it's not a battle, it wants me to escape?" Leo raised an eyebrow, surprised that the task is not battling but to getaway. "If I didn't know any better, I say this feels like something from the game where fighting isn't the answer? And since my location is in the city, and I was attacked by GUN, then that means…" Leo exclaimed upon theorizing the clues and began to realize something: for once, hoped he was wrong, but…

MISSION – ESCAPE QUEST

STAGE THEME – 'CITY ESCAPE'

"HOOOOOOOONK!" Then a loud noise belonging to a truck was heard. That's when Leo suddenly froze up and turns to look behind him. "CRUSH!" There was something that shot upwards and slammed down hard on the ground while vrooming through everything in it's path. A colossal Mack Superliner or GMC General, being as wide as a two-way street and as tall as a small building. Its predominantly grey and black with a heavily armored exterior, has the 'GUN' emblem written on the front and possesses an equally large semi-trailer with the symbol of G.U.N. on the sides. Possessing armor, as well as an extra set of seats with its own windshield set just above the main one.

GUN Military Truck

*GUN Military Truck Lv. Not Registered?*

POWER LEVEL: UNKNOWN

A military truck belonging to the Guardian Units of Nations that was sent after Sonic the Hedgehog during the Space Colony ARK incident. The GUN Military Truck is quite a powerful and durable vehicle, capable of running over entire cars and apartments buildings without slowing down. It is also very fast despite its size, being able to keep up with Sonic's running speed and making extremely sharp turns at top speed. The later versions had additional features, such as three massive circular saws on extendable arms protruding from the top of its cab, rocket boosters that allow it to fly, and storage compartments for deploying various G.U.N. robots. There were only three model versions, making this fourth version a new surprise. Plus whatever secret functions the 4th newly constructed military truck has besides some of the old previous stuff may have new features yet to be seen.

"You GOT to be Kidding?!" Leo shouted in shock on seeing what he wished was not the real thing. "Of all things, a running challenge against a GUN Military Truck, I need to be fast like Sonic to escape it, so how can I get away?" While Leo was pondering how to solve this situation where speed is key and his current body lacks Super Speed… "Oh, that might do?!" Then Leo became calm when his answer stared him right in the face.

"CRASH!/HONK!" The Gun Military Truck bashed through the rubble remains in an explosive matter. But then something zipped through the explosive scene to land on the road going downwards, it was Leo and he scored some wheels. It was a black, red and silver vehicle design as a buggy with an equipped machine guns and missile launchers.

*VEHICLE OBTAINED - ARMED BUGGY*

The Buggy is a general-purpose vehicle that is just as capable zooming across a paved street as it is speeding through rough terrain. The Buggy employs Homing Missiles to attack enemies, but it can only fire two missiles before you must wait for the launcher to reload. Design to chase down and eliminate enemies. It can speed up by using a special installed device with an ability called the Boost Dash, which was meant to help keep up with fast opponents like Sonic and Shadow.

"It's a good thing I didn't destroy all the vehicles those soldiers had. This thing may help in areas I lack." Leo issued on being grateful on what was amount those that attacked him and was not destroyed. "I'm more surprised I'm driving this thing from Shadow The Hedgehog game?" The lion man was truly surprised he find himself in such a situation to begin with. "I guess it's a good thing I did gain that Armored Pilot skill, it'll really help me out here." The lion man was grateful on what he recently obtain, it maybe at level 1 but it's still plenty good.

"POW!" Then reality reminded Leo of still being pursue by the GUN Military Truck, as it plowed through some other obstacles on the path to reach the lion in the armed buggy.

"Alright, the mission said to escape, but let's see if I can take it out with this?" Leo decided that compared to the game he played, maybe he can destroy the enemy vehicle then just trying to escape.

That's when Leo made a sharp turn to rush a U-Turn section before making a shift angle to spot the truck on the side. Then used the Armed Buggy to fire it's machine guns that demolition an old condemned building where the military truck was going. The entire thing made a large smoke cloud, Leo continued firing the machine gun rounds until he stopped to see…if that artillery did something.

"HONK!" That's when coming out of the smoke was none other then the Gun Military Truck looking like it hardly was damaged.

"Woah Now!?" Leo yelps before switching the Armed Buggy into reverse to keep away from the speeding truck. "Gaarrrr…." Then the lion man quickly spins the steering wheel to screech the vehicle around a corner to have himself in a forward position while going through an S-curve path.

"CRASH!" Then the Gun Military Truck smashed through the obstacles in the S curve to continue its pursuit.

"That thing is like some sort of Immortal Object that you can't break through? I know they made that in the Sonic games that the task was to escape and reach the goal then fight. Anyone that didn't make it suffered, but I'm puzzled?" Leo was trying to understand what is happening in his situation. "I defeated an Orca, the Killer Whale that chased after the player as Sonic and it too was in the chase scene. So why is this thing any different unless…?" Leo was trying to figure out what was the problem before something clicked in his mind.

Leo suddenly had a theory and needed to test it so upon reaching an area with a low bridge, he reach it. Then used the Armed Buggy's missile launcher when the truck impact the low bridge structure that stopped it. "KABOOM!" The missiles went through the under bridge and explode on the other side.

"Did that do the trick this time?" Leo continued to drive to getaway while looking at the rear mirror: hoping that finished off the threat like from the game.

"BOOM!/HOooooonk!" Then without warning, the truck bashed through with such force that it smashed the entire bridge building structure apart.

"There's my answer." Leo rolled his eyes as he turn down a few road turns while the military truck plows through parked cars as the lion man had a far lead to see where the truck was. "Okay, so what we know is that this is not the first version seen in a Sonic game, since the bridge part worked on only the first model. There were two later made versions of the GUN Military Truck so I need to figure out which one will work on this newer one?" Leo had to solve this riddle if he was going to have any hopes of getting out of this alive.

"Chao!" Then a tiny little voice was heard shouting a distance ahead of the lion man.

"Hugh, I must be hearing things? That sounded almost like…" Leo was almost too shocked to believe what he heard, maybe being chased is making him hear things due to loud truck horns.

"Chao-Chao!" That's when as Leo passed a low hill drop, he saw coming out of a big mall building…as Cheese happily running on an empty paint can across the road to the other side.

"A Chao!?" Leo exclaimed surprised while looking at the rearview mirror of what's behind him carefully. "No, wait, that's not an ordinary Chao, that bow tie can only mean…?" Leo suddenly became very worried if what he thinks is right, then things just became a lot more complicated.

"Cheese, there you are." That's we see Cream the Rabbit ran out to pick up her Chao friend from the empty paint can by flapping her ears to land and catch him. "You shouldn't have gone that far ahead, we need to go back." The polite little rabbit girl sweetly reminds her friend that they can't mess around when they have chores left unfinished.

"Hey Cream, Cheese!?" Tangle was calling from exiting the mall doors when looking for those missing. "Yikes!?" She yelped from the slide doors clapped on her tail hauling all the purchase bags. "Ah, can you give me a hand please, I seem to be stuck with all your shopping items?" The lemur girl sheepishly smiled on this embarrassing sight.

"Okay, be right…" Cream replied as she held Cheese and began to walk across the opposite side of the street to return to where they were, but…

"HOOOOOONK!" Then a loud truck horn was heard, as something was seen rushing on the road, and directly in front of it was…

"Hugh?/Chao?" Cream and Cheese stopped to look up the road and became deer in the headlights when a massive truck was heading for them.

"CREAM!?" Tangle screamed as she tried to rush in but forgot: her tail held the bags and the slide doors pin the lemur from going anywhere when stuck in place. "Nhhh-Nhhhhhh!?" She was pulling her tail to get free and spring into action.

Immediately Leo drove the Armed Buggy back upwards while turning the wheels to spin. The lion man reach to grab the rabbit girl and her Chao by the left hand. Afterwards the buggy zipped off while the GUN Military Truck smashed through more things after dropping down from a high point. After Tangle finally finished yanking her tail that popped free of the slide doors and released the bags that fell across the ground: but that was not important right now.

"Oh my word, this is terrible! Cream and Cheese have been KIDNAPPED!?" Tangle exclaimed with scared worried eyes and hugged her tail for comfort. "I gotta do something, or I'm so gotta get it from either Vanilla or Gemerl? I don't know which is bad, but I rather not find out?" The lemur girl immediately left the bags to use her stretchy tail to swing across building poles to catch up to those ahead.

And back in the Armed Buggy, Leo was continuing to drive through the city to escape what's pursing him. But now he's got another problem that was not expected: he picked up a passenger. And Cream was safely in the passenger seat while holding Cheese, they both seem shocked and surprised, while recognizing what happened and how they ended up here. And Leo was fiddling away on having meant a character from the Sonic world, but this was not how the lion man expected.

"Oh I don't know if I have the worse luck but this is NOT something I was prepared for when having experienced this?" Leo held his head as if getting a migraine on having almost endanger a child or two because someone is recklessly chasing him with no concerns for public safety.

"Um, excuse me sir?" Cream gathered some courage to speak up after she safely put on a seatbelt.

"Ugh, me?" Leo yelped from having forgotten that Cream was present.

"Yes, actually, we wanted to say thank you for saving me and Cheese." Cream slowly smiled from realizing that what happened so fast, was because Leo saved them from the scary truck.

"Chao-Chao!" Cheese smiled to happily cheer in agreement.

"Oh, right? Well, I couldn't just leave you there, especially since…" Leo felt a bit embarrassed and looked away to reply this. "It might be my fault?" He muttered the truth about having been the cause of a massive military truck chasing him across the city and destroying everything without a care.

"Hmm?" Cream felt puzzled and confused, so did Cheese by what they heard.

"Anyway, just give me a minute to lose this truck." Leo issued as he had to focus on one major problem before focusing on having meant the friends of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Then Leo decided to try something crazy, he drove the buggy and activated the Dash Boost function, which shot those at a faster motion blur. The speed allowed the vehicle to leap across another hill drop and onto a rooftop. As Leo drove, he heard the loud truck honks and looked down to spot the enemy having tried to pursue, but it was unable to reach the rooftops.

"Few, I think we're safe." Leo signs with relief to put the vehicle in park for a short break: it's good that he remembered this trick from when there was a second encounter of the GUN Military Truck in the game.

"That was amazing, that seem like something Mr. Sonic could do." Cream smiled from how that was quite a feat that only Sonic would do without breaking a sweat.

"Chao!" Cheese cheered to happily agree on the subject.

"Yes, I suppose he would have done that?" Leo lightly sweats a bit from not sure if he could pull such a stunt so smoothly off but tries to keep a calm expression.

"By the way, my names Cream and this is my friend Cheese." Cream happily introduces herself and her Chao friend to who saved them. "What's your name?" She asked from wanting to know Leo's name.

"Oh, it's…Leo? Leo the Lion…" Leo was taken aback, as he simply answered while knowing it's his first time introducing himself to a familiar character of the Sonic series. "But never mind that, why were you out there alone?" He quickly changed the subject, not understanding why Cream and Cheese were in such a dangerous situation.

"Oh I was with my mother shopping." Cream politely mentions what she was doing before getting swiped into this situation.

"What!?" Leo yelped upon hearing this with wide eyes before slapping his forehead. "Arrrr, I better get you back before things take a turn for the worse." After having said that, Leo drove the buggy to start leaping from certain rooftops: hoping to keep out of sights and not be on ground level with an enemy truck chasing them.

"Oh don't worry, and besides we also had a friend with us. Her name was…" Cream was not worried because

"Gotcha!?" Tangle shouted from behind, then she leaped above and stretch her tail to wrap around Leo's eyes.

"Gaaaaarrrr…I CAN'T SEE!?" Leo roared as his eyes were blind as he tried to keep the car steady.

"Don't worry Cream, Cheese, I'm here to save you." Tangle landed on the front of the buggy, making a heroic pose: but a bump knocked her balance off to fall and land in the backside in an upside-down manner. "EEeehhhh!? Well, it's a work in progress?" She yelped because of her reckless action of blindfolding the one who's driving that the vehicle was wobbling around a bit.

"But Miss Tangle, we're actual fine?" Cream seem surprised but tried to example that the assumption of this was not as it seems.

"But you were kidnapped by this suspicious figure?" Tangle raise an eyebrow, trying to piece together what she saw and rushed to the rescue.

"No, he saved us. Right Cheese." Cream shook her head to state what Leo did for them.

"Chao-Chao, Chao!" Cheese nods his head while agreeing and wanted Tangle to know it too.

"Saved you, from what?" Tangle picked herself up from being upside-down in the backseat, uncertain what was going on.

"HONK!" That's when Tangle, Cream and Cheese turn to the left side and saw the GUN Military Truck going up a hill on the other side. "HOOOOOONK!" Then made a shift turn to launch across an unfinished bridge that was sending it over towards those driving on rooftops.

"Waaaahhhhh!?" Tangle screamed with widen eyes as her tail twitched from her scared action: which allowed Leo to push it aside to see only to notice what was flying towards them.

"Grrraarrr!" Leo shouted as he press the Dash Boost again.

The Armed Buggy managed to speed through to evade the diving truck as it crashed through a construction zone. Leo was driving through a part of the city's construction sites, and the GUN Military Truck was hot on their tail. During the time Cream and Cheese sign with some relief, and Tangle looked back and forth, and then pops between the passenger and driver.

"Okay, I think I may have jump to the wrong conclusion?" Tangle sheepishly smiled nervously upon realizing she goofed up. "Let's maybe start this over, I'm Tangle. Sorry about blinding you…while driving…on rooftops…in a very dangerous and unsafe way?" The lemur girl was realizing the more she talk about it, made it sound like she caused more problems then by fixing them.

"Um, alright? I'm Leo?" Leo raised an eyebrow to reply, surprised to see another Sonic character before him.

"Well now that that's out of the way…" Tangle sign with relief that they are good; until she looked behind that they left the construction zone. "So what now? How do we lose this mad driver?" The lemur girl asked from hoping there was some kind of plan.

"Hmm?" Leo noticed something ahead that was a familiar sight. "I have an idea, hold on!" Leo floors the pedal to the metal when seeing they head for a low high drop.

That's when Leo drove that the GUN Military Truck leaped over the hill and was landing to approach the buggy to touch the rear. The girls and Chao screamed before Leo pulled a sharp turn right under a heavy cemented bridge pillar. "CRASHED!/HOOOOONK!/BASH!" The military truck bashed against the side at such speed when trying to evade that it tipped over to crash against another building. With the threat gone, Leo began to sign with relief while driving on the roads with a calm demeanor and as for his passengers…

"That was…AMAZING!" Tangle slowly went from being stump to excited by the action. "The way you pulled that off at the last second, how did you know?" She had starry eyes, wanting to know if she can try such a move.

"Um, let's just say I witness that move a long time ago?" Leo had a sweat-drop from not certain if he can explain he knew that trick from a game…base on the world he's living in.

"I'm just glad it's over." Cream signs with relief as she and Cheese smiled to another. "Um, Miss Tangle, where are the bags?" Cream then realized that from all the excitement, Tangle appeared but not their shopping bags.

"Oh, I…kinda dropped them when everything happened?" Tangle sheepishly smiled with a nervous expression, realizing she had no time to waste and left everything behind. "And as you can see, I dropped in? Wouldn't it be funny if the next person to drop in was…" She was about to say something with her face sweating from having been caught in an awkward situation.

That's when something watched those drive underneath another bridge, unknowingly being watched. Then the figure leaped a good distance before landing in the back of the Armed Buggy as it rocked, and then something was aimed at the back of Leo's head. The lion man continued driving before he and the others saw who had appeared now. It was an anthropomorphic wolf with brown skin and biscotti fur. Has thick black eyelashes and cloudy white fur around the eyes that resemble a mask. The eyes are cadet blue, although they are often closed to the point of squinting. Wears light gray eyeshadow and has a long, bushy tail which ends in several tufts of fur sticking out in various directions. Also has a black nose, long-pointed ears and quite long hair that keeps tied at the back in a ponytail with a black hair tie, save for a long, thick hair bang that covers the right eye. Pointed cheeks are a little fluffy. Fangs protrude from the mouth which is often in a natural frown. For attire, wears a cream-colored tube top, light gray leggings, and a dark gray cloak, in which keeps six Wisp canisters. The cloak also has black and dark gray pockets seen on the shoulders. Wears an outfit geared towards combat. Includes dark gray arm sleeves with black elbow pads, dark gray and light gray gloves with visible dark brown claws, and dark gray knee sleeves and black knee pads. Sports military-fashioned black, dark gray, and light gray boots. Sometimes be seen wearing a cat-like ornate mask scope, which is cream, dark gray and light gray in color. Three holes are seen at the right side of the mask and a blue "eye" on the left side.

Whisper The Wolf

"Whisper!?" Tangle yelps from seeing her friend here, and in a mode to shot first and ask questions later sort of mood. "Um, hi….so, how you doing?" She sheepishly asked from knowing how awkward this was, especially with Whisper ready to blast someone who just saved Cream and Cheese when under the lemur girl's watch.

"Saw smoke, followed it. And here find you?" Whisper replied with a few short words while not taking eyes off Leo. "And with someone suspicious?" She issue with a serious tone from not trusting someone like Leo.

"Um, your pointing that thing at me when I'm driving? Shouldn't that be suspicious of endangering us further?" Leo exclaimed from trying to sound reasonable now that another Sonic character has appeared: and this one is almost unpredictable.

"Not seen you before, yet all this destruction can't be coincidence upon your visit?" Whisper issue the logic view on what has occurred seems to be centered around Leo.

"Well, I can't argue with that?" Leo looked away from having a hard time finding argument there.

"Wait, he was only helping to save us." Tangle tried to move her friend's weapon away and claim Leo was actually a good guy.

"Yeah Miss Whisper, we were being chased by a monstrous truck?!" Cream politely inform Whisper that the real enemy was what came after them.

"Chao!" Cheese replied forth in agreement.

"What truck?" Whisper raise an eyebrow from hearing those defend the suspicious lion man.

"HOOOOONK!" Then another loud truck horn was heard from behind, making everyone look back where something that was out was… "SMASH!" Making a comeback by smashing through more obstacles created a dust cloud and lands hard on the road heading downhill… "Bizzzz….." That's when the GUN Military Truck pulled out it's next feature, three massive circular saws on extendable arms protruding from the top of the cab.

"Buzz saws blades!?" Tangle muttered from seeing this for a first time. "IT HAS BUZZSAW BLADES!?" Tangle screamed in terror while standing up in the backseat. "When did trucks end up getting Buzzsaw Blades!?" Tangle asked from knowing that doesn't make a lick of sense.

"I wish I had an answer!? Everyone hold on!" Leo exclaimed to avoid answering while instructing everyone to buckle-up.

Leo continued to speed the Armed Buggy to zigzag across the different streets. And the GUN Military Truck continued honking its horn while unleashing its triple crane arm buzzsaw blades at the targets. Slicing and dicing the roads and other vehicles in its wake. Whisper tried to use her Variable Wispon weapon to stop the truck. First was Laser Mode where it glows cyan and fires laser beams that shoot straight. Second was Rocket Mode where it glows orange and the gun barrel splits apart resembling a bazooka capable of firing explosive energy rockets. Third was Spikes Mode where it glows pink and the mode shoots solid pink energy balls with spikes covering them. Fourth was Cube Mode where it glows blue, the gun barrel retracts, and forms energy constructs in the shape of a hammer's head. All those attacks Whisper performed, and yet the military truck's sawblades didn't leave much dents.

"This armor, it's very strong?" Whisper muttered from sensing her pride was hurt that she could not break such metallic structures.

"We got weapons and yet nothing is slowing that thing down?" Tangle protest on how tough is one truck; they fought Egg Pawns that weren't as infuriating.

"Um, everyone…I think we may have to watch where we are going?" Cream stuttered a bit to mention this when everyone was distracted.

"Why's that…ahhhh!" Leo yelped when looking away from how close the enemy was, and saw something ahead to be wary about.

Soon the group leaped across a road hill drop and so did the GUN Military Truck as it's heavy weight shook the entire street. When another buzz saw assault came down, Leo shift the Armed Buggy a hard right. But in that action, Tangle was thrown out which she panicked to use her tail to grab the seat.

"YAaaaaaAaaaaahhhhh!?" Tangle screamed as she was performing a jet-ski action, but more road-style with her running feet and grasping her tail like a rope line.

"Miss Tangle, hold on!" Cream cried out as she looked back at the lemur dangling outside the speedy buggy.

"OBVIOUSLY! I'm Holding For Dear Life!" Tangle shouts as she clutch her tail as if not to let go even if someone told her too.

"Biiizzz…/Clash!" When three buzzsaw blades struck where Tangle was, Whisper grabbed to yank the lemur girl away to dodge that ground cutting blow. Tangle found herself back in the backseat with a shock expression.

"Miss Tangle, are you alright?" Cream asked from noticing how rough that must have been.

"Chao?" Cheese asked with a worried tone of voice.

"Yeah, peachy…hehe…?" Tangle was in a stump of shock while trying to nervously laugh it off.

"There's a reason, to wear seatbelts?" Whisper reminds the careless Tangle about making sure one is strap in for a rough ride: she already secretly made sure she wouldn't fall off the fast buggy.

"Yeah I think I just experienced what it's like for a cartoon gig? To be honest, it's funny when it's not you involved." Tangle expressed herself on having gone through such an eye-opening experience.

Leo didn't have time to think, and punch the gas pedal, as they launched off the road to bounce off a building rooftop to enter another street. "CRASH!" Course the crazy truck was still behind and it followed with such force, that it leaped off and crashed through a building to continue pursuing. "CRASH!/HOOOOOONK!" The GUN Military Truck continued it's destructive path and let loose a horn, as it was closing in on the targets.

"Somehow you think with all this chaos and destruction in the city, people would be complaining?" Leo remarked how much damage was done, all just to pursue him while he makes more turns but can't lose these guys. "I'm going to try another attempt, so everyone buckle up!" Leo instructs those to truly fasten their seatbelts for what's about to come.

"No need to tell me, I learn why seatbelts are important!" Tangle issued as she buckle up, and used her tail to secretly strap in much to anyone's surprise.

"Whatever you do, move quickly." Whisper silently lectured Leo when seeing how close the enemy was upon them.

"Mr. Leo, what are you going to do?" Cream asked with concern as Cheese looked silently worried about this too.

"Well let's just say, I hope you all have experience with rollercoasters." Leo stated on what he's gonna do is like going on a rollercoaster of sorts.

Before anyone could say anything, Leo used the Armed Buggy to perform a Boost Dash function for the vehicle. At that speed, everyone held on tightly before in a crazy nutshell, Leo drove the vehicle on a twist ramp going up to the left side…and was now driving on a building sideways!?

"Woooh!/Chaaaaoooo!" Cream and Cheese cheered as if experiencing a wonderful ride.

"Woah….This is so Awesome!" Tangle grinned with excitement, finally something less scary and more fun.

"Think again, look back." Whisper expressed a different mood from what's behind.

Suddenly without warning, the GUN Military Truck that was left behind activated some sort of rocket booster that launched from a vast distance. "POW-POW, POW…CRASH!" Plowed through other building structures to smash through, and drove after the targets….on the side of a building path.

"Eeeeek! Not Awesome! NOT AWESOME!? How is it even doing that?" Tangle yelps in fear of what was happening turn one's smile upside-down.

"I wish I had that answer, but we just gotta make it pass this one point…" Leo issued from focusing on having one last trick to try and turn the tide.

"Chao-Chao!" Cheese cried out to point at something while securely held tight by Cream's arms.

"Cheese says there's a small space ahead, but will we make it?" Cream informs everyone of what they are approaching at a fast rate.

"It'll be close!" Leo issued from narrowing his eyes to focus on where to get.

"It's coming!" Whisper alerts that the enemy was upon them.

"HOOOOOOONK!" The GUN Military Gun honks as it was gaining as the boost effect of both parties were running low, everyone was bracing for the worse. But as luck had it, Leo drove their small vehicle through the crack between the two buildings. "CRASH…" The Gun Truck crashed 8th the building sides and couldn't make it while smoke in the area. "KABLAM!" Then a large explosive wave occurred that torn the buildings apart and the shock wave knocked those on the buggy far across to end up heading near the city's docks.

CENTRAL CITY - DOCKS

Scene opens directly towards outside Central City where the dock port was located, as something landed on the pavement: the Armed Buggy. Screeching the vehicle to a halt, Leo was in a stump phase from the obvious reason: he survived what felt like three challenge game modes of escaping the GUN Military Truck all in one go, it's crazy. But then a surprise came from a pop up screen from the Scouter.

"Ha…to think I ended up gaining such experience and rewards after such a dangerous chase?" Leo muttered to himself about reviewing such rewards before shaking it off to focus on another issue. "Um, is everyone…" Leo's attention was on the passengers, and somehow had the fate of meeting and drag them into this danger…

"That…Was…AMAZING!" Tangle at first looked like she was terrified, but burst with excited joy. "The way you pulled off such a stunt, and then going faster and making it through at the last second. You gotta teach me to do that. Please!" Tangle had such sparkly and hopeful eyes as she was begging the lion man.

"Um, I don't know if I can teach you that?" Leo felt a bit puzzled by such a weird request. "Um, everyone else alright?"

"Well, it was a little scary?" Cream sweetly admits this without hiding it. "But it was kinda fun, just like how Mr. Sonic would do it." She smiled from not being worried from how Sonic would have handled that.

"Chao-Chao!" Cheese flew up and around to happily cheer.

"Hmm, that he would." Whisper silently nods to agree to that subject. "It is safe to come out now. Situation under control." She turns in a general direction to give a signal to someone nearby.

"Who can come out now?" Cream raise an eyebrow, puzzled by that comment.

"Hmmm?" Leo looked to a direction, as if hearing the sound of footsteps.

Then someone jumps down from the rooftops of the docking facility building, and stands before everyone. An anthropomorphic female sheep with cloudy white woolly fur on the head for hair, a light tan muzzle with a black/salmon nose, and slate blue eyes with two eyelashes on each one. Possesses black/brown pointy and stubby horns on top of the head, droopy medium-long ears with light tan canals, and black/brown hoof stubs for fingertips. Also has a large tuft of wool on the forehead while the rest of the hair is kept in four buns. The outfit consist with a black sports bra, orange/yellow tank top, green cargo pants, a brown belt with a golden buckle, brown and tan combat boots, orange/yellow hairbands, black elbow sleeves, and brown fingerless gloves. For the most part, wears a bronze cowbell with a green choker around the neck.

Lanolin The Sheep

"Lanolin, hey…" Tangle sheepishly smile to wave hello to another friend she knows. "Funny seeing you here? Looking for fish, are you?" The lemur girl tried to make small talk with a nervous face.

"I actually told her to meet us here." Whisper revealed that she told the sheep girl to be here.

"Wait, what? When?" Tangle yelped in surprise by this shocking truth.

"I informed her of where the path of destruction was going, and asked if it eluded me and continued, she meet up here near the docks to help give support." Whisper reveals a shocking surprise which she kept quiet until now.

"You thought that far ahead?" Leo raise an eyebrow: he knew Whisper was also a solo fighter but taking extra steps is a new one. "Listen, I…" Leo was gonna try to explain his situation to avoid another troublesome event like the last two times with Tangle and Whisper but…

"No need, I was watching the whole time." Lanolin held up a hand to reveal her binoculars. "Whisper told me where to meet, and I used the tallest structure to observe the whole thing." She explained what steps she took to prepare a joint operation procedure.

"Pant…then you're not about to attack me?" Leo signs with relief, knowing that's one less problem to deal with.

"I was standing by to engage, if you proven to be dangerous." Lanolin explains what the plan was gonna be if Leo was a threat that even Tangle and Whisper had trouble with. "But it looks like despite everything, and from what I overheard on both Whisper and Tangle's com-links, your not someone evil." She smiled to appreciate knowing they gotten the facts straight here.

"Wait, my com was open?" Tangle yelped to check her pocket, and discover a small walky-talky with a lit light switch. "Oops, I must have pushed it by accident when I fell after blindfolding Leo?" She sheepishly smiled on having realized when it happened: kinda embarrassing when she thinks about it.

"Then that means everyone knows that Mister Leo is a nice person." Cream smiled on seeing the truth was finally know.

"Chao!" Cheese replied with a happy smile.

"On behalf of the Diamond Cutters, we wanna apologize for suspecting you had anything to do with causing city destruction." Lanolin humbly request that Leo accepts the apology for the misunderstanding.

"Well, I'm just glad it's been resolved? And a pleasure to meet you…" Leo rubs the back of his head on letting bygones be bygones.

Leo's thoughts were processing this rare and incredible encounter of Sonic characters. He knows about Tangle, Whisper, and even Lanolin, and they made themselves as a team called: Diamond Cutters. To meet them seems pretty unexpected given the strange circumstances that occurred. Sure Leo recalls these three from the comics but their popularity has risen to the point of being involved in games now.

"I'll prepare a report so that there are no misunderstandings." Lanolin stated as she was getting a communicator ready.

"But tell us, why were you being chased?" Whisper raised those eyelids to reveal her eyes when asking that question.

"I wish I knew? All I did was purchase a Chaos Emerald from a jewelry store. I even have the receipt." Leo shrug off the shoulders from not sure how this whole mess came down all at once from just buying one Chaos Emerald.

"Wait, you have a Chaos Emerald?" Tangle asked surprised, as Leo reveals the green emerald in his possession. "Aw man, I didn't hear anything about those up for bidding." She groans to complain from having missed the offer of the lifetime.

"Neither did I, Chaos Emeralds draw in many eyes." Lanolin also stated on never having heard of someone selling Chaos Emeralds.

"Not all are good, so then why?" Whisper held her chin to ponder what this could have meant when word got out of someone obtaining such an emerald.

That was on the mind, even for Leo there was something strange about everything. First finding a Chaos Emerald in a jewelry store, second being attacked by Gun Soldiers, and chased by the GUN Military Truck across the city of which fortunately there were no people around. But then again, the notice of folks leaving due to a drill of a disaster event seem to almost fit in with keeping any eyes away.

"Chao-Chao, Chao-Chao!" Then Cheese was seen pointing it's arms up for everyone to follow it's direction.

"Cheese, what's wrong? Above?" Cream asked puzzled before listening to what the Chao wanted them to do.

Then everyone looked back from where they saw the smoke from the explosion incident, and something came out of it. A strange sphere force the smokescreen away, as it was clearing it revealed to be a force field barrier that began to dismiss. And what created said barrier was actual…the GUN Military Truck!? Except now, it looked like there were new features that it's undergone changes with areas that were damaged repaired and given a new paint job: deep blue with dark-gray and white-gray metallic components underneath and some red metal compartments. And lastly the biggest notice was that it's wheels shifted to produce thrusters for hover capacity.

"What the, that isn't totaled. And it can fly?" Tangle yelps upon seeing the same military truck survived and now it's flying like a ship.

"Impossible, that never existed back then?" Leo protest from witnessing a function that exist outside the usual game.

"What do you mean Mister Leo?" Cream looked confused by those statements she heard.

"Ugh, well I heard that GUN Military Trucks didn't have such a function?" Leo tried to cover up that blunder without going into too much on what he actual knows was from a game. "Have to remember, I'm here in the flesh and this is not just like the video games I once knew?" He silently muttered under his breath so that no one could learn the truth that he knows.

"Still, who has pursued us to this extent?" Whisper exclaimed with a firm tone on who was going this far.

MEANWHILE

XGUN BASE

The scene opens back to the hidden dark office of Big Jack. As the man sat by his chair to watch the monitors behind him, the soldier known as Milo stood beside him. They had apparently been watching the entire process of the chase scene from within another location and getting feedback on the progress report. Milo seem a bit concern, but Jack Hoarder was a different story…

"Well now, so we reach the end of the road. He gave us quote a chase, didn't he Murphy." Jack Hoarder remarked to boast how the game of cat and mouse has about reach an end point.

"Yes sir, and it's Milo." Milo corrected his boss on his name pronouncement. "But still, that new Gun Truck is amazing, it survived the areas where the previous ones were wrecked. How they do that?" The guy was eager to learn how anything could endure such a pounding and keep on licking.

"HIGH-TECH, gotta love the place to give you the goods to rival the best like Eggman tech." Jack Hoarder grins with a sly expression when commenting on a company who's got the best tech to rival a certainb evil Eggman. "Still it's a surprise our target managed to evade everything by the sheer luck of it all?" The man tap his hands together, calmly having observe events as they played out.

"It's certainly is sir, he even knows how to pilot one of GUN vehicles for the first time." Milo stated on another amazing feat that Project X performed.

"Well enough of that, now's the time to go on the pounce. Which is why we brought in another insurance." Jack Hoarder declared with an evil grin on another surprise they brought along. "How are you on your side, Khamsin?" Now he turns his full attention on another screen section when calling someone's name.

The screen monitor in the left center began to change and show a strange figure in it's place. A man within his 30-40s, has tan blonde buzzcut hair with white marks and light cyan color eyes. The upper portion of his body was medium muscular built, wore a black top shirt and green military vest, and lastly were some military dog tags around the dangling neck area. The entire upper body wore a desert military long sleeve and ended with dark brown gloves. But strangely underneath the wardrobe, there was some robotic design of a machine which seem connected upwards to the man's face that had cut marks but had silver seen underneath, and a scan mark on the left forehead area. No matter how one looks at him, this guy apparently was a man who went to war.

"Sign, I really gotta take your little runaway project along back to you after chasing it all through the city?" The military man called Khamsin signs to complain, as if this was just some boring minor task.

"Why yes, you know the saying: the more the merrier, no?" Jack Hoarder expressed his interest from wanting to make certain: they acquire the runaway Ultimate Lifeform.

"Ugh…Yeah, whatever…" Khamsin shook his head and put his arms behind his head; just going along with the arrangement. "Different Project, but still just another Ultimate Lifeform." The guy doesn't care if the target is something like Shadow the Hedgehog, to him it's just business.

"Um, technically sir, this one seems closely more a type matching Professor Gerald Robotnik's work on Project Shadow. The other one…didn't turn out so good?" Milo spoke up to inform the man on the screen about the big difference of the prototype like BioLizard and the finished model like Shadow.

"Oh, you speak?" Khamsin remarked to the lonely Gun Solider with Jack Hoarder. "A reminder, I'm Khamsin, a.k.a. the Desert Storm." He boast on his self-introduction for all to keep in mind.

"Ugh, yes sir?" Milo replied a bit puzzled by such a self title.

"Buckle the heck up, little soldier boy." Khamsin points to Milo with something to say. "Remember this, we're bringing' freedom here within XGUN if it kills us." He proclaimed this manner of self reliance on their cause. "Or better yet: them." He secretly mentions this with a strange hint to the meaning.

"Them, um…do you mean threats like Doctor Eggman?" Milo asked from thinking maybe this guy has no sense in the head and is talking crazy.

"Heh, if you don't know then get ready for an education." Khamsin points off to lecture about what they are fighting for.

"Enough with the witty banter you two, make with the magic on taking down our little escapee." Jack Hoarder issue forth to cut in and wanted to focus on apprehending Project X.

"Very well, deploying ALL Military Arsenal aboard GUN Military Truck Version 4.0." Khamsin announced this as a means of getting ready to begin a full scale war.

As that was said with a quick change to what's happening in Central City, there were many weapons being deployed around the GUN Military Truck. There were sets of different missile launchers and gun blasters station around the right and left side of the truck storage, and even a really bit cannon set in the back on the rooftop.

"Um Mr. Hoarder, ah Big Jack sir? Maybe we should be reasonable? After all, there are some civilians that didn't clear out before we tried to apprehend Project X?" Milo spoke up concern with worry, especially in one of the video monitors showed Cream, Cheese, Tangle, Whisper and Lanolin with Leo the Lion.

"Oh don't worry, that's why in these cases…we have it fall under collateral damage control." Jack Hoarder brushed the subject off as a simple means under contract.

"I wouldn't count on it? After all, those folks have ties to Sonic the Hedgehog, if word gets out?" Milo asked worried if big names connected to Sonic learn about this dangerous action.

"Oh, is that all, well I got your word right here." Jack Hoarder rolled his eyes from hearing that, and decided what they outta do. "FIRE!" Big Jack roared out to give the order to attack without warning.

BACK A CENTRAL CITY

DOCK AREA

The scene opens to where the GUN Military Truck hovers within the airspace over the docks outside Central City. But then the massive vehicle unleashed a barrage of unlimited weaponry attacks of guns and missiles. And everyone below witness this action with much widen surprise.

"They've Open FIRE!?" Lanolin screamed out loud, has GUN gone mad attacking them with actual artillery.

"Get in!" Whisper reached to help pull Lanolin into the Armed Buggy.

"That….CANNOT Be Good!?" Leo exclaimed from the sheer madness of what's coming before revving the buggy and flooring it to the max.

"Hugh…?" But Tangle yelped as she fell out of the buggy when standing up and onto the floor.

"Tangle!" Whisper and Lanolin cried out seeing the lemur fell out of the vehicle.

"Yikes!? Wait up…" Tangle yelped before using her tail to lasso the back of the buggy. "Woah!" She yelps again from the sudden tug in the nick of time.

"BOOM-BOOM, BOOM KABOOM!" Almost multiple explosions erupted around the area where the others were, and the forces afterwards covered more feet. Leo was driving and using the Dash Boost to get them as far from the explosive damage as possible.

"Waaahhhh, aaahhhh, eeeeehhhh!?" Tangle was yelping to move and jump around to evade all the shots and rubble debris flying all over.

"Miss Tangle?!" Cream called out to the lemur that was in trouble.

"Chao!?" Cheese also called out with a worried expression.

"I'm starting to miss the chase thing when compared to surviving this onslaught?" Leo muttered out from realizing that he's never tried surviving an onslaught of endless downfall of barrages.

"Tangle, don't let go!" Whisper shouted for the lemur to hold on tightly.

"Don't worry Whisper, I won't. Besides, I always wanted to ski off the back of a speed buggy while dodging explosions falling down from the sky." Tangle tried to keep a cheeky grin but her nervousness was showing when more missiles were on the way.

"Then BRACE YOURSELF!" Lanolin yelled from noticing what else was coming at them.

"Hugh!?" Tangle looked back only to see something overshadowing her. "Oh no…?!" Tangle had a very terrified expression on her face.

"BAM-BAM, BAM!" The explosions shook the area enough that Tangle lost digging her heels and was running but tripped to skidding upon her bottom. The burning force made the lemur yelp to have her tail hail her up while rubbing a sore bottom. Yep, this was something that Tangle did not enjoy at all even with her eager and go-getter personality.

"HEY UP THERE! COOL IT, Would You? Somebody could get really hurt?!" Tangle lashed out on the jerk trying to destroy everything on sight without a care of endangering innocent bystanders.

BACK WITH JACK HOARDER

"Ohhh, really?" Jack Hoarder pretended to be shock by this news. "What took you so long, fools." Jack made a sly evil smirk and taunting the poor fools.

"Sir, maybe this is going too far?" Milo nervously stated on taking things too far as it is.

"I'm sorry, are we not after an Ultimate Lifeform? Are they not a great danger?" Jack Hoarder rolled his eyes to remark on the point of going all out, they can't pull their punches now.

"Well yes, um but still…what if we hurt them?" Milo tried to see reason to halt their actions.

"That's the idea!" Jack Hoarder lashed out, that the point was to stop those by making them unable to react if they got damage. "Khamsin, launch GUN CANNON!" He shouted on ordering to unleash their special attack move.

"With pleasure…" Khamsin was heard responding to prepare such an attack.

"Oh boy….?" Milo pulled his uniform's neck, sweating with worry now.

That's when within Big Jack's office, they began to display the entire scene of what's happening at the docks.A large cannon aboard the GUN Military Truck was charging energy through the center. This was clearly the one label the Gun Cannon, a pretty obvious thing. But then it fired a massive beam blast directly at the dock area. "KA-BOOM….." A massive white explosion erupted covering the entire that swallowed half the city's dock. Rubble was flying through the skies, and what was seen was a large explosive tower of flames as if a nuclear bomb went off in front of the hovering GUN Military Truck V4.

"Haha, looks like that one did the trick." Jack Hoarder was heard laughing in triumphant for knowing that final blow did the trick.

"Mister Hoarder, I think with weaponry like this, folks might say that GUN might just blow up the whole planet if we fought like this?" Milo exclaimed with worry about how folks might react if their organization brought such dangerous weapons out on the field.

"Well that's a distinct possibility, Mike." Big Jack replied from thinking that's a possible matter in the future.

"Milo sir." Milo corrects Big Jack on how his name is said.

"But if you wanna make an omelet, you gotta break a few eggs. You follow me?" Jack Hoarder issued on knowing that's how one dishes out the reality life gives you. "Hmm?" Then his attention was focus on something on the screen monitors.

That's when on the separate screens in Big Jack's office, it showed that over half the dock structures were totaled. But pass the smokescreen there were signs of what appear to be the wreckage of the Armed Buggy, and…four Gun Shields. Behind those shields, were Whisper, Tangle, Lanolin, and Cream and Cheese shared under one together. They apparently made an oval dome to provide extra protection against that attack.

"Mister Hoarder, you seeing this?" Khamsin was heard on the coms talking to those watching the events in the office. "Those furry things survived without a scratch thanks to some shields that lion gave them before they jumped off the buggy?" The guy informed those paying him on what's happened here.

"Well, Gun did try to make strong Shields for the Shield Hunters. Unfortunately those things seem to have been placed in front of the other and worked together to absorb enough of the damages?" Milo theorized what was done to insure the least amount of damage as possible.

"Ugh, I wonder if it's possible to be too much a genius for your own good when making Ultimate Lifeforms to surpass us? That guy was smart enough to try that on a fly." Jack Hoarder held his head from feeling annoyed by this bravo heroic stuff.

"Wait, but what about…" Milo realize they had almost forgot someone, and check the monitors. "Sir, look. It's Project X." Milo points to one of the screens displaying Leo on the ground using two shields to cover his body.

"What! How could that guy survive the Gun Cannon?" Jack Hoarder objects that surviving their best weapon blast was impossible.

"Maybe it missed him?" Milo shrug off the shoulders to admit the shot didn't make contact.

"I'll have you know that the new Gun Cannon is engineered to hit the bullseye every time." Jack Hoarder declared on boasting they spared no expenses on having a weapon that hits the target every time.

"But sir, none of those folks there are bulls of any kind?" Milo raised an eyebrow in knowing those on screen do not have any bull features.

"Marlo, I'll try to forget you said that." Jack Hoarder dryly remarks the foolish and stupid thing the soldier said just now.

"Could you maybe recall my name first, sir?" Milo asked from sensing a pattern this seems to go around.

"No time for that, Khamsin, you need to get down there before Project X escapes again!" Big Jack exclaimed from focusing on the bigger picture and that's going after Leo the Lion.

BACK AT THE DOCKS

The scene opens to where there was only half of the docks outside of Central City left. And we focus on the Diamond Cutters dropping the shields down, coughed a little before standing up. Leo had also drop the two shields he summoned to slowly rub his head from recovering after that loud explosive noise.

"Few, thanks for giving us these shields?" Lanolin signs with relief and turns to thank the lion man for the help.

"Crack…crumble…" But then the Gun Shields that took the heavy blast cracked and were completely shattered apart on the scene.

"Ugh, here they are…um, what's left of them?" Tangle sheepishly picked up the pieces to give them back, despite this seem impossible to do now.

"They were old shields I used for training, I didn't throw them away thinking they could come in handy. I just didn't expect this result of their endurance holding out till the last second?" Leo exclaimed from not being bothered, truth be told he will have to have a better shield in the future.

"Well at least were alright." Cream expressed some relief on their well-being.

"Chao!" Cheese flies up with a happy tone.

"We aren't safe yet?" Whisper issue from a cold tone, knowing

All eyes gazed upon the destruction in their wake, and many couldn't believe it. This sort of stuff they expect from maybe Eggman, but GUN was suppose to make certain such things don't happen. Sure Leo remembers how crazy the Gun Military Truck chase event was in the game, but now it's different…he's living in the world. And to think this all happened because of one item the lion man got and it's inside the case: which upon opening discovered it was emptied.

"Hugh, the Chaos Emerald?" Leo yelped after seeing the case he had kept the emerald was empty. "Where did it…go?" Then when using his Gun Scouter device, it points to a signal of Chaos energy from the emerald, but there were two shocking surprises. First, the signal came from the GUN Military Truck hovering in the sky, and secondly it had two Chaos Emerald signatures. "This is not good, the enemy has taken the emerald and has another." The lion man revealed a shocking surprise, it appears when they survived the Gun Cannon explosion, the green Chaos Emerald fell out and was snatched by the enemy.

"Two Chaos Emeralds, that doesn't sound good?" Lanolin raised an eyebrow, concern that after everything, now the emeralds are involved.

"But don't worry, we can help get them back." Tangle issue on trying to get those emeralds out of whoever has them.

"You do realize, this is GUN, correct?" Whisper raise an eyebrow to question Tangle's logic that GUN is suppose to be the good guys.

"Oh, yeah…but whoever this guy is seems to not be one of the nice ones. Right?" Tangle exclaimed from trying to think of a logical response to this thing.

"You up there!" Then Lanolin used a megaphone she had on hand to call out to the one in the hovering truck. "Identify yourself! Or else we'll report this action and GUN will face charges for city destruction and endangering lives!" The sheep girl was trying to use whatever methods to get the one attacking to respond.

"I can hear you from here." Suddenly a male voice was heard, it came from the hovering military truck. "You wanna know who I am? The name is Khamsin, the Desert Storm!" The man revealed himself as he was sitting in the driver's seat.

"Desert Storm, Khamsin?" Leo raised an eyebrow, he never heard of that name in any Sonic related themes.

"I heard of him…" Whisper stood forth with a dirt tone when gazing up at the foe. "A former Marine who was once a loyal soldier who greatly contributed to desert operations of certain war countries, but lack of flexibility and disastrous personality caused internal troubles within his own team, ultimately leading to his discharge." She explained the further details that describe just who Khamsin truly is.

"Ouch, that must have sting?!" Tangle cringed from having heard such a downfall on one's career.

"So someone has heard of me, interesting?" Khamsin exclaimed from never expecting another soldier to know of his record. "It's true, afterwards I became a private military contractor afterwards and used the majority of my income to turn myself into a cyborg." He explains what he's gone and done to himself in looking for a new career path and became stronger in the process.

"A Cyborg?!" Leo exclaimed in shock, somehow this discussion does hold some ties to the Sonic universe about those that became cyborgs. "But still why…why have you chased me, wrecked the city, and all to take the emerald I paid for?" The guy asked from trying to understand, what was the point of all this.

"Heh, simply put its to lure out a beast, and you fell for it." Khamsin remarked that he reveals they were after Leo the whole time. "Didn't you notice that all radio signals are jammed. Some high bigshot figure wants you, so for a better world…we're gonna need you to come along." The guy issued to order that Leo follows if he knows what's good for him.

"Ugh…so that was you?" Leo growled a bit bothered to learn this guy cut him off from reaching for Nicole and his ship to be out of reach.

"But why would GUN help target Mister Leo?" Cream asked a good question on the spot.

"I bet'cha this guy stole one of GUN's little work and is posing as one!" Tangle declared on what they think Khamsin is since GUN would never resort to this.

"That might be true, whoever his contractor is…he may have used underhanded means to control GUNs movements?" Whisper held her chin from speculating a tactic movement done under the radar.

"That's possible, he said some high bigshot figure wants him, he may have pulled some strings to use GUN's tech?" Lanolin nods from thinking the same thing, someone powerful enough to do that must be the true culprit.

"Tell me, who suddenly decided to put a bounty on my head? I have the right to know!" Leo glares to demand Khamsin tell him the truth.

"Heh, afraid I can't tell you." Khamsin remarked that he won't spill the beans so easily.

"Then I'll just have to take you down and get my answers! I didn't struggle to get where I am only to end up capture." Leo protest as he grabbed his weapons for each hand to wield. "I'll win, get stronger, and show the world what I'm made of!" The proud lion man announced with a force of determination befitting a warrior.

"Hmph, bravo speech. Let's see if you can back it up?" Khamsin replied off while going mute so no one can hear him now. "Orders?" Khamsin then turn on the screen to have a private chat with Big Jack on the screen.

"That little lion thinks he has won with his nine lives does he? Well let's show him not to mess with BIG Jack Hoarder!" Big Jack declared from sensing it's time to put the heavy pressure on.

"Mister Hoarder, are you thinking what I think your thinking?" Milo cuts in on the screen time with a worried tone. "Cause I think that is what your thinking?" The guy can tell that if what Big Jack is planning is gonna be big, it might be 'that' kinda big.

"Good thinking." Jack Hoarder made a sly little grin as he rest his hands together. "For the first time in GUN history, we shall rival Doctor Eggman by turning the GUN Military Truck into the Ultimate Robot ever created to compete against the Eggman Empire and Sonic the Hedgehog alike." He boast about taking things to a new height that's never been achieved. "The plan was originally meant to save this hidden ace for a special occasion against Doctor Eggman or another threat, but why put it off any longer? After all, I'm feeling lucky!" He proclaimed from deciding to throw the dice and gamble without a care.

"I see, then it's a good thing I picked up this little breath." Khamsin stated on showing the Green Chaos Emerald he swiped from Leo during the chaos confusion.

"Excellent Khamsin, and with that…" Jack Hoarder grins with anticipated eagerness on before giving a thumbs-up sign to Begin:

-GUN Military Truck V4-

SET-ON

TRANSFORMATION!

Suddenly at this moment, the entire Gun Military Truck was flashing without warning. Then the truck was hovering upwards and undergoing a strange motion, as it began to separate from the main body and the truck storage. During the process, Big Jack's voice made the call outs of events transpiring while the transformation is in process…

***Merge Mode Number 1!***

The first stage shows the truck body under went a change of the back wheels shift to underneath to form legs and the back parts redirected to form some kind of arms.

***Merge Mode Number 2!***

Then from the second transformation had the rear truck compartment began to split into three parts while reconfiguring into long legs, longer arms, and armor pieces.

***Merge Mode Number 3!***

Now we see from the third and final configuration the armor legs connect with armor components followed by a waist armor piece. Then the top portion divides and configures. The long arms connect as the new armor hands were placed then coming down for the final connection as armor for the top section which popped a robotic head with a mouth guard. The two bulk points adjust to dock on the shoulder pads along with large weapons of a cannon and missile launcher. That's when the light-cyan color optics flashed and the humanoid face showed becoming active. And dealt with a right punch out, the a left punch out, before pulling the left arm in while clutching the right hand. And when it was over posing, the bot stood tall with an ID mark presenting its self:

GUN Robot - GUN EMPEROR

The now 50 foot tall robot hovers in the air while another compartment piece hovers behind it. As for those below, they watch the entire display until the enemy finished it's transformation.

"Now say hello to the ultimate robot creation to combat Eggman's giant mechas. The Gun Emperor." Khamsin declared forth on what was now a new threat to be recognized even against Doctor Eggman.

"Ugh, I feel like that is related to something you see on TV shows?" Leo raise an eyebrow from having just witness that entire scene.

"Um, is it wrong to say I kinda found it cool?" Tangle sheepishly smile to rub her back head from admitting a guilty thought.

"Yes, yes it would be wrong to say that with its sight on us." Whisper nods her head to confirm it much to the lemur girl's fault.

"Look, it's dropping down now!" Lanolin stated on where the giant robot was heading.

Soon Gun Emperor drops down to the open waters, causing a huge flash of water to splash around the city docks. It's height was clearly over 40 feet when as a massive truck and with the transformation, extra armor and height measures went up to 50 feet tall. Everyone that was on the ground yelped from the extra water that splashed some and some fish to flap from being out of the sea.

"Hmm, I faced many enemies, but none as this big?" Leo admits this factor from having fought something only as large as an Orca.

"What do we do?" Cream asked sounding worried about this dangerous new robot.

"Chao?" Cheese also felt concern for the same reason.

"We need to get you someplace safe, and try to call in reinforcements." Whisper issue on making sure Cream and Cheese are out of harms way.

"Ugh, the signal is being jammed? Looks like we're on our own?" Lanolin tried to use her communication device, but kept getting static: looks like the jamming stuff Khamsin mention was in affect.

"Hey come on guys, this guy isn't that tough." Tangle exclaim to try to reassure those of their worries. "He maybe big and strong, but we can bet he doesn't move as fast. Let's go!" Tangle declared the signal to charge in without worry.

At that moment, Tangle used her stretchy tail to lasso poles to help give her a higher advantage. Whisper signed before placing her mask on, and using her Variable Wispon to select a glowing green and forms an energy-based hemisphere that sprouts from the gun barrel: it resembles an umbrella and helped carry the wielder through midair. With that, Whisper was not far from Tangle having a head start. Leo decided to stay beside Lanolin along with Cream and Cheese to watch. The lion man would have gone in, but something about this didn't sit right with him. And soon within GUN Emperor, Khamsin was having a private chat with Big Jack himself.

"Well-well, looks like we got a few impatient opponents today?" Jack Hoarder exclaimed from a screen monitor with Milo as they chat with Khamsin.

"Yes, but why rush things when everything is set." Khamsin declared as he press a button on the dash board and place the stolen Green Chaos Emerald underneath something.

That's when the driver seat and steering wheel were moved away, revealing much more of the guys appearance. His lower waist was completely replaced with cybernetic tentacles implanted inside the main command chair. The arms were then encased with robotic control exo-robot control arms. But the real focus was seeing imports for Chaos Emeralds for the robot tentacle legs: one was the acquired green one, another was Blue and the other four were all gray.

"Are those Chaos Emeralds? But why are the others…?" Milo was shocked by the numbers, but except for the Green and Blue, the others were clear white?

"That's right, this new machine acquired Doctor Eggman's idea of using Chaos Emeralds to power his machines and robots." Jack Hoarder answered to reveal this shocking feat of engineering. "Of course the plan was to power GUN Robots with replicas, so this will be a field test of having the real Chaos Emeralds channel power to keep things balance. With each placed emerald, it'll grow stronger." He issued as one of the replicas began to power the GUN Emperor.

With one emerald, the screen showed an image of the moving targets. When a second emerald was placed in to channel energy, the screen pinpoints the targets to slow their speedy motion.

"Haha, I hope your ready for a power trip Khamsin, you're connected so there's no telling how it'll effect humans." Jack Hoarder laughs off from wanting to see how good this test of powered up machines can really do.

"It don't matter, what matters to me…is completing our goal for freedom against all who stand in our way." Khamsin issued forth on what he's doing, as crazy as it sounds.

Then the replicated Chaos Emeralds were installed, as their energy was channeling through the system. They even course through Khamsin connected to GUN Emperor.

"GUUURRRRAaaaaaurgh!" Khamsin unleashed a mighty battle cry, as his eyes spark from feeling a great surge of power of six Chaos Emeralds.

Then without warning, when Tangle and Whisper launch upwards to deal the first attack. But by then, GUN Emperor vanished into thin air.

"Hugh, where it go?" Lanolin raised an eyebrow, puzzled by this disappearing act which GUN Robots never performed to her knowledge.

"Wait, I think I recognize this scene. But then…" Leo tried to recall where he saw this familiar situation: and it dawn on him. "No! It's a TRAP!" He roared as he quickly rushed ahead

"Hugh?" Cream yelped along with Cheese as Lanolin held them from the rushing lion man that bolted pass them.

While Tangle and Whisper was lost about what happened, without warning, the GUN Emperor reappeared behind the duo. But at the last second, Leo summoned his Gun Shield and performed Brave Shield and pushed the wolf and lemur away, but was in midair of what came next….

"PUNCH!/Gaaarrrugh!?" Leo yelped as he used the shield to absorb the powerful right giant robot punch blow… "Gooooorrrrruuuuh!?" Leo was seen yelling from the powerful force shot him. "SMASH-SMASH, CRASH!" Leo was shot and burst through two buildings before having stopped on the third one.

"Mister Leo!?" Cream cried out in shock just as Tangle and Whisper landed beside their friends before looking at what happen.

"Hugh…he took that blow, for us?" Whisper gasped in shock, seeing the level of damage done: that could have seriously put her and Tangle out of commission.

"And it knocked him through THREE Buildings!?" Tangle exclaimed in shocking surprise, the strength used seem monstrously scary.

"But….how?!" Lanolin was lost how that GUN Robot had not just strength, but speed to almost match Sonic's Super Speed.

"Muurrrrarrr…" Soon the scene shows Leo wedged into the building, a bit messy but still active: too bad the same couldn't be said for a busted Gun Shield that took the impact. "Ugh, so that's what it feels to get the wind knock out of you?" He made a light comment, trying to hid the fact he suffered heavy damage from a giant robot fist. "This fight, might be pretty tough…even tougher then a remade E-101 Beta?" The guy exclaimed from knowing this fight, might be something more dangerous to face.

"Oh ho, playing tough is he? Well with six Chaos Emeralds to our Gun Emperor, he's unbeatable." Jack Hoarder saw the stuff on the monitor and grasped his fist, boasting of their sure victory.

"Sir, maybe we should pull back the punches, we need him alive. Right?" Milo pleads from thinking this proved a point and they don't need to go too far.

"Well I'm afraid we can't do that at this time, so sorry." Jack Hoarder remarked that they can't pull their punches just after witnessing how much impact it has on a target.

Then without warning, Gun Emperor began to start vanishing and reappearing, as if warping in a fast blur motion.

"Grrrr…" Leo growls as he sees the enemy coming, and pushed away from the building he was stuck in. "PUNCH!/BASH!" But that wasn't fast enough as Leo couldn't dodge a powerful fist drop that bashed him straight into the pavement.

"Oh no…?" Cream gasped as she, Cheese, Tangle, Lanolin and Whisper gasped at what they saw happened.

"Come on, we gotta go help him." Tangle insisted that they get in and provide some hero backup.

"Tangle, we just saw that thing move as fast as Sonic? We might not be it's opponent." Whisper informs the lemur that this enemy might be tough enough to give Sonic a challenge time beating it.

"Alright then, I guess I'll have to take care of that walking hunk of junk myself." Tangle declared forth that she'll use good old melee attacks and her tail, to do the job.

"Wait…" Lanolin tried to stop Tangle, but she rushed ahead without thinking. "Cream, we need a lookout. Can you do that much while we backup Tangle?" The sheep girl looks to the rabbit girl and Chao, hoping they can provide some aid while they draw the robot's attention.

"Hmm…I want to help too." Cream nods with a little brave expression, even Cheese nods his head to be brave.

Soon the Diamond Cutters were on the move to begin their counterattack while Cream and Cheese took to the air to be lookout. Whisper was using the Hover Mode, Tangle forming her tail into a fist, and Lanolin preparing to flick her bell… But then GUN Emperor vanished without warning in another blur.

"What the?" Tangle was shocked by this move, but then… "Uh oh!?" Yep her fears came true when GUN Emperor reappeared above her. "Eeeeeekkk/POW!" Tangle reacted instantly to use her tail to spring the giant fist blow, but it knocked her down.

"Tangle!?" Whisper cried out until she saw another giant fist heading for her. DUNG!/POW!" But the wolf had her Wispon form a protective shield but the force set her across the field.

"AAahhh!?/DING!" Lanolin yelped as she rang the bell which fired off concussive blast of air but… "KABLAM!" The giant robots' attack destroyed the attack and the shockwave force knocked Lanolin over to the others.

"Hugh…Miss Tangle, Miss Whisper…Miss Lanolin!?" Cream gasped from when she and Cheese gasped upon such a fast end of a battle.

"Chao!?" Cheese cried out worried as the two felt worried.

Cream and Cheese flew down to immediately check on her friends that were hurt. During which GUN Emperor stood towering over having crushed all that would oppose him. Like there was no one that could stand against it.

"Ugh, that thing is really powerful?" Tangle groans to push herself up, then sat down for a breather.

"Ah, it's frightening…we're in this condition after one blow?" Lanolin ached from having endured that but just barely by luck.

"Like I said, we might not win." Whisper slowly stood up with her Variable Wispon being used to hold her up.

"Oh everyone, are you alright?" Cream was seen rushing with Cheese accompanying her. "Cause if you get hurt here, I might be in worse conditions with someone else?" The lemur girl tried to make a joke, but sheepishly was worried that she face something much scarier in front of Cream's mother or even Gemerl if they learn of this.

"Hmm, it's looking at us?" Whisper looked to notice that the enemy robot was turning in their direction.

"Grrr, we need to…ugh, fallback!?" Lanolin groans to stand on her feet, but had trouble to get moving.

"Hey, Khamsin!" Then a voice broke the silence, and everyone saw who was coming on. "Listen well, this fight is between us. I'm just getting started! Mhmmm…." Everyone saw he was walking while holding onto his left shoulder that seem busted. "So leave them alone! Urragh!?" But while walking, he drop to his knees and clutch his left arm: his condition was not looking good.

"No way, how could anyone survive a pounding like that? He's all beaten up." Tangle gasped upon seeing Leo stand up despite his injuries.

"I don't get it either, no normal living being is able to endure such things." Lanolin exclaimed from knowing one has to be extremely tough to withstand such heavy blows.

"Mister Leo, don't do this. You might get really hurt?" Cream called out to warn the lion man.

"None of us can fight this thing on our own." Whisper issue on the dangers of facing an enemy this powerful without a plan.

"Maybe, but you four must go. I'll keep them busy." Leo issued from not wanting to endanger the new friends he's made within this Sonic World he's come to live in.

"Keep me busy, hmmhmmhmm…" Before anyone could realize it, Khamsin spoke while his body was lighting up. "I'll show you that we're not in the same league!" Soon GUN Emperor was charging with bright energy before it instantly vanish into thin air.

"Grrraarr…/STOMP!" Leo managed to leap with enough force to avoid being stomped on. "Arrrr…BEAST KING FIS…/PUNCH!/Gooooarrr!" Leo tried to perform an attack, but was cut off by a punch from above. "CRUSHED!" And was delivered smack hard into the road pavement to create a crater. "PUNCH-PUNCH, PUNCH-PUNCH, PUNCH-PUNCH, PUNCH-PUNCH…" Soon GUN Emperor was delivering a senseless barrage of punches as if merciless beating an opponent deep into the ground.

The girls watched this after trying to get to some distance away. But they were almost shocked beyond belief. That giant GUN Robot was continuing to pummel Leo without giving him a chance to defend himself.

"Ugh, hey Whisper, Lanolin, can't we try to get closer after getting out of it's sights?" Tangle tried to think up maybe some plan of attack they haven't tried that could work then a frontal.

"No, it's too dangerous. We can't get any closer!?" Lanolin shook her head from knowing what happened to them and can't risk a repeat.

"Our only chance might be to spot a weakness, but…from a distance." Whisper admits before summoning a Green Wisp to fly off unseen.

"Well whatever the plan, we need to do something? That robot is powered by the stolen emeralds." Tangle issued from knowing full well the powered-up robot is dangerous.

"I hate to admit it but if the enemy has that many Chaos Emeralds, nothing can be done now." Lanolin shook her head from feeling like they can't do much with their current strength.

"Ah, look…/Chaaaooo!?" Cream and even Cheese points with frighten expressions that made the others look to the battle direction.

As soon as the deadly pummeling was over, GUN Emperor slowly pulled something up from the smoke. It was Leo the Lion by his cape, but he looked seriously bruised and beaten, it's a wonder if he's alive much less conscious.

"Aahhhh…" Cream was about to fly off but Tangle used her tail to wrap her legs.

"Hold on! You can't go out!?" Tangle wanted to keep the rabbit girl from trying something foolish: which is something the lemur would have done.

"But he's hurt, we have to help him!" Cream cried out from worrying about someone they meant was in trouble.

"Hmmm?" Then Whisper noticed her Green Wisp came to say something. "Around the head, the control area?" After asking that, the Green Wisp nods and spoke in it's alien tongue. "Thanks…" She muttered to thank the Wisp as it return to it's container.

"Did you figure something out?" Lanolin looked to Whisper who seem to be gearing up.

"Yes, wish me luck…" Whisper replied from hoping what she's gonna do will work.

Then Whisper quickly moved into action before having her Variable Wispon change into a Laser Mode while on the run. Then fired a shot that managed to crack the optic glass eye, and distract Khamsin.

"Put him down, or I'll fire the next shot before you can move your hands and blink away." Whisper gave a serious threat to the guy, testing him with her skills as a sniper on the line.

"Put him down, alright then?" Khamsin exclaimed as he controlled his right hand to release Leo as the GUN Robot dropped the lion from several feet in the air. "I may not move my hands, but I never said…about feet?" He remarked with a sly grin on this other part.

Then without warning, GUN Emperor made a fast motion behind the large smoke cloud. "KICK!" And without warning, delivered a powerful right kick against the unguarded Leo.

"Waaaahhhhh!?" Tangle screamed in shock terror upon seeing this while her tail wrapped Cream and Cheese.

"Miss Tangle, what happen? We can't see?" Cream asked from wanting to see what happened.

"Chao?" Cheese cried from being blinded and can't see either.

Soon Leo's body began to fall from a height far distance from the dock. And then made a splash into the water several feet away from the others. But the lion man was out cold, so his fate was uncertain…

"Ugh, we have to go!" Cream managed to peak outside and had herself and Cheese slip out of the lemur tail.

"Ugh, wait, I'll help too!" Tangle issued as she used her extending tail on a dock port and dived into the water.

"Sorry, but that creature is coming back with me…" Khamsin remarked on seeing those trying to help save the beaten lion man, and had GUN Emperor prepare to move. "Hmm!?" Then Khamsin made GUN Emperor move to dodge another laser attack by Whisper nearby.

"Our friend…is not going with a monster like you!" Whisper issue from refusing to let this enemy move another step.

"And who's going to stop me, you?" Khamsin remarked on those thinking they can win.

"We might not be as powerful, but we can't run after what YOU did!" Lanolin issued as she stood beside Whisper, preparing to help out.

GUN Emperor was preparing its own weaponry to target the Diamond Cutters while Cream and Cheese tried to pull Tangle by her tail as the lemur was still in the water. Whisper realized she could get out, but the others had no chance if the enemy attacked them. Lanolin can attack with sound attacks from her bell, but will the concussive blast work this time around.

"Poooowww/KABOOm!" Then a massive yellow beam blast was fired that directly exploded around Gun Emperor: the shock force slightly pushed the giant robot back, and caused its glow to fad.

"Uuuugh, what? Where did that come from?" Khamsin remarked from the GUN Emperor surviving that attack but lost a major power-up.

Then from above the skies, the shot came from what appeared to be a somewhat similar Egg Carrier of the past when in Battle Mode. Only now it was a giant warship re-design with some new white theme, dark grey metal frames, expanded side wings near the rear edge in a crescent style by the main body. And there were cyan color lights from underneath, the sides, and rear to give it flight. There was even a newly remade cannon in front with four ports connecting them as they were lit up cyan before powering down. As the camera zooms in, we find that on top of the warship that was being blown from the air currents…was Nicole the Holo-Lynx. Which meant the warship in question was the Leo Carrier it's self.

"Leo Cannon has dealt damage, and appears to have disable the replicated Chaos Energies." Nicole exclaimed from having managed to deal a good critical blow to the surprise enemy. "Leo, can you hear me? Leo?" Nicole was trying to get in contact with Leo after realizing he never contact her back and assume something was wrong.

Khamsin seem annoyed by what interrupted him, where in the world did that unknown warship come from. But soon a monitor nearby revealed Big Jack on the line contacting the pilot of GUN Emperor.

"Khamsin, what's going on? We received word here that your energy dropped?" Jack Hoarder snapped in demanding an answer for detecting a problem.

"That unexpected attack…I've endured it, but now my replicas are all spent." Khamsin issued from looking at the replicated white emeralds gone dead: that blast of energy destabilized and drain their power. "But no matter, I still have two real emeralds to keep me going." He issued from seeing the two real Chaos Emeralds are working plenty.

"Miss Tangle, did you find him?" Cream called out as she and Cheese awaited for the signal.

"Blaahhh…" Tangle popped out for some air, and waved up. "Give me a boast, my tail can handle the rest." She waved to signal those to help bring her in.

Soon Cream flew down to grab Tangle by her shoulders as the lemur wrapped her middle tail portion around Leo. Then with enough force, Cream and Cheese flew upwards with Tangle, and then the fast force was enough to launch Leo out of the water back onto dry land.

"We did it! We saved him." Cream signs with relief as she flap her ears in the air with hopefulness.

"Chao!" Cheese cheered with joy that they saved their friend.

"Few, for a second I thought….Hugh?" Before Tangle could finish that sentence, a giant hand appeared. "HANG ON!" She cried out from instantly acting to get her tail unhooked by the dock's pillar.

"Gaaahhhh!" Cream and Tangle screamed as the lemur used her tail to wrap them into a tail ball before being squeezed by GUN Emperor's right hand that caught them.

"Cream! Cheese! Tangle!" Whisper cried out as she lifted her mask with worried concern: the robot moved so fast even after getting damage done by that warship.

"You! Release them at once!" Lanolin snapped to order the fiend unhand their friends.

"Ohh, it's not them I'm after. Give me the lion man, and you can have these weaklings." Khamsin remarked that he's only after one target, after that no one else here matters.

"Weakling! Who you calling a weakling!?" Tangle was inside the wrapped tail ball with Cream and Cheese huddle to her.

"Miss Tangle, will we be okay?" Cream asked as she nervously hugged Cheese for comfort of the scary situation they're in.

"Yeah sure, I never been held by a giant robot hand, but my tail should hold…" Tangle was nervously smiling to assure the rabbit girl all be well: except when the robot hand was squeezing. "Eeekkk…I may stand corrected?" She yelps in fear when feeling the pressure on her tail ball, she might not last long.

LEO'S SITUATION

On the ground, Leo was unconscious at the moment everything was happening. But even so, his mind was at work trying to think of all the things happening. Then in that darkness, Nicole appeared there right beside an image of Leo in his beaten and bruise state.

"Ni-cole?" Leo muttered this words when seeing a familiar face.

"Leo, I've finally managed to reach you." Nicole exclaimed on having made contact with the lion man.

"Then…is the battle over?" Leo looked to the lynx weakly, hoping that if Nicole got to him then their warship might have stopped Khamsin, but…

"No, I've managed to sever the jamming, but the situation is looking grim." As Nicole spoke, an image of what the GUN Emperor was doing was seen. "I've managed to damage the enemy enough that it's weaker, but now I can't attack with hostages that may get caught in the line of fire. We need a new approach, have you learn anything about the enemy's strengths?" She explained the issue while awaiting if Leo picked up anything new to deal with the threat.

"Grrrr…the first fist broke my shield, second fist took down half my HP?" Leo groans to explain the situation of how strong GUN Emperor was. "After so many punches, and a powerful kick…I'm just barely keeping myself conscious?" The guy concluded, apparently this must be what it feels to have only 1 HP left: it's like a warning light for any RPG Gamer to be wary about or else their character dies.

"Then you may need to spend SP on strengthening some abilities and skills to raise your stats more." Nicole offered advice on what must be done if Leo wants to endure. "You currently only have 10,100 SP remaining." She revealed the number amount of what Leo can use.

"Hmm…Alright, then…" Leo moans as he decided on what was the first step. "Increase…my new Skills." As he said this, a pop-up screen appeared displaying data:

"Nicole, tell me…" Leo slowly spoke while in deep thought on the matter. "Can I evolve a Passive Skill to it's highest evolution and max it out with the best stats boost?" He asked a very important question he needed an answer for.

"There is a way to do that, yes, but…" Nicole replied until she hesitated to continue it. "It will require a heavy amount of SP. At best you can only select one for the best result." The holo-lynx was not joking, clearly Leo needs to think carefully on which seem the best chances of obtaining victory.

"Then, I choose…Destroyer!" Leo proclaimed on having selected his choice.

"Destroyer? Why that instead of Strong Gladiator or Strong Swordsman? Or even Matador or Shield Giant?" Nicole raised an eyebrow, puzzled that Leo would go for something that didn't involve swords or the other jobs with Evasion or Defense measures.

"To beat this enemy's power, I must break my limit. It should be, like what Shadow performed…So I'll channel Chaos Blast…I'll maintain this extra energy and increase it with a more powerful Destroyer job class to help end this threat." Leo explains the plan that if his theory is right, he should unleash a power similar to when Shadow releases his inhibiter rings and becomes more powerful during that time.

"Fair warning, if you go ahead with this plan, there's no telling what may happen. That much power unleashed at once without proper preparations due to your current level and condition might harm you more then you realize. The overdose alone may result in a Berserk state until it passes over?" Nicole gives a warning of what will happen afterwards might lead to more problems.

"Please…Nicole…" Leo spoke as if begging for the holo-lynx to grant this request. "It's not just….my life…the others…" He raised a hand for Nicole to take, as she held it. "I can't forgive myself…if this world is real, then their lives are real. I can't…put them endanger…because of me." Leo pleaded, knowing the ones he meant exist in Sonic Universe and unlike a video game where if you die can restart, it's not the same in this new world.

"I…I see…Very well…" Nicole felt hesitate, but acknowledged the request Leo was desperate to choose.

That's when a pop-up screen displayed the bar for Destroyer, and it was being filled up with experience to update it. But as that was happening, Leo cringed to clutch his chest, as if feeling a shocking pain. His body was jolting as if a powerful surge was hurting an injured body.

"Grrrrr….growl? Arrrragh?" Leo roared as he was enduring whatever was happening to him before the process was over.

By achieving King Of Destruction at such a fast paste when it takes years to achieve, special rare bonus gifts are granted: DEX is increased by 1200, plus an additional 60 for the body enduring the painful process of obtaining such destructive power under a short time. Lastly, a 20x experience increase to current STR, reaching pass 10,000 limit qualification of any who obtain the superior job: King Of Destruction.

*King Of Destruction: The superior job applies the stat growth which focuses solely on STR, which leads it to have highly unbalanced stats. Also grants the user powerful resistances, enough to slow down even Debuffs (Example: High Poison Effect). Allows the destruction of indestructible targets whose endurance is lower than the user's attack power. This allows for the destruction of liquids or gases, which would normally be impossible to destroy. Skills, items, laws, or concepts which can negate destruction (Example: ghost and slime's physical attack negation) can also be negated by this skill. Also has the effect of negating the damage the user receives whenever they strike something whose END is lower than their attack power.

"Grrrr….Uurrrgh…" Leo was grunting under his breath but he opened his eyes: they flashed from the changes that happened. "AAAARRRRRRUUUAGH!?" He lets out a scream as the body was emitting a powerful flame burst which blinded the scenery: it almost looked like the lion man was being burned by scorching flames.

BATTLE AT THE CITY DOCK

Suddenly back in the real world, the situation with GUN Emperor had not changed. Just then, Leo the Lion's body was emitting a glow. It was strong enough to earn some attention from the Wisps to get Whisper's attention.

"What, something happening by Leo?" Whisper exclaimed from understanding what the Wisp said which got Lanolin's attention too.

"Your right, but what is that brightness?" Lanolin ponders about the strange light so red it covered Leo entirely.

Then without warning Leo's right hand lifted up, which formed a strange Chaos Spear that was shot forth. Except this one was far longer, a Chaos Lance by chance. And soon it impacted the giant robot hand that gripped Tangle, Cream and Cheese to temporally release them.

"Woah!" Tangle yelped as they fell and undid her tail wrapped ball.

"I gotcha!" Cream immediately grabbed Tangle and used her ears to flap them to safety.

Inside the GUN Emperor, Khamsin yelped from a feedback jolt: and he was not the only one to notice the action while losing hostages.

"Hey-hey, what's going on? We got a feedback that GUN Emperor let go without your response?" Jack Hoarder called in demanding an answer of what's the fuss.

"What's happening?" Milo asked sounding puzzled by an unknown element happening at this precise time.

"It seems your little project pet used up one of its nine lives, and now the energy readings say it's skyrocketing?" Khamsin exclaimed from looking at the instruments: the level of power of Chaos Energy was skyrocketing from Leo's location.

"Ohh, could this be…" Jack Hoarder studied the stuff from his office: the data revealed a somewhat match under Shadow the Hedgehog when the guy removes things called Inhibitor Rings. "Looks like he's using a double edge sword for a last gamble. But unlike a black hedgehog we know, he didn't have any inhibitors. Think you can take him?" Big Jack asked if maybe with the situation turned, if Khamsin wants to call it quits.

"Some instruments are down from that warship that attacked, but I still have all access to this things combat and powered by two real Chaos Emeralds." Khamsin explains what he has left to continue the fight even if not being unbeatable.

That's when during the time, Leo was slowly rising up as his body was emitting a strong red surge of energy. But then stomping near the cornered lion man was GUN Emperor, as it reached to pulled something out from its hover compartments left drifting in the air: a large broadsword with chainsaw features along with rocket propulsions. Then the large giant robot leaps to perform a chop move.

"Hyyyah!/CLASH!" As Khamsin made his hit, in a second motion the heavy weapon was stopped: by Leo using his own swords to make an X-Cross to withstand the blow. "Huuurrrrgh!" But then Khamsin had GUN Emperor use its sheer size and strength to knock the lion man who defended across the field. "Grrrrarrrrr!" Then Khamsin launched a surprise attack by dashing GUN Emperor to swing with fast mobility. "SMASHED!" That attack completely destroyed a dock building, but all saw that Leo managed to leap over GUN Emperor for the enemy's attack to miss him.

"Did you…see that?" Lanolin asked from not knowing how to process what happened.

"Mister Leo, he's fighting back?" Cream exclaimed as she landed with Tangle gently on the ground.

"Chao!" Cheese cheered with joy that their friend was okay.

"Something has changed?" Whisper expressed her thoughts to the others, looking surprised by Leo but sense something odd.

"Yeah, he's glowing for one thing!" Tangle issued on seeing the big eye catcher was the lion man appeared to be glowing with energy that resembles fire.

"You got your second wind. Yet if you don't know freedom, then I can't expect you to get our cause." Khamsin remarks as he hand his hand grip tightly as GUN Emperor was assuming its battle position.

The new fourth version GUN Military Truck was revealed to be capable of transforming into a Giant Robot. After GUN studied much of Dr. Eggman's defeated Mechs and Mecha Suits, they done their best to provide with more powerful models. But some where one can pilot Mechs such as the Big Foot series had limitations, and their only latest feat of robotic mechs was the U78-X/D Diablon. However, through the aid of another 'organization' with talent for robotics near Doctor Eggman's 300 IQ level, have design the GUN Emperor model. It's power source can be replicated Chaos Emeralds to channel great energy to perform higher expectations then regular models. This model is piloted by Khamsin, and is connected to the system to perform a better output and sense the robot then other pilots due to being a cyborg. The GUN Emperor has it's missiles and cannon on the shoulders that's enough to level a city district, and a powerful melee weapon to slice buildings like butter.

Leo seem to pay little attention to the data seen on his Gun Scouter, as he too assume battle position; like a lion about to go wild against a great predator threat.

"But it don't matter. Understand it or not…Huuuuuaaarrrrgh!" As Khamsin was declaring this, he channels the two Chaos Emeralds to power the Gun Robot. "You'll die for it all the same!" He announced what fate awaits the runaway lion man.

"ROOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRR!" Leo unleashed a mighty battle roar, as if almost shaking up his entire area from raring to unleash his fury.

Leo charged blindly as he swung his two broadswords forth, but GUN Emperor blocked them with its own blade. And then the giant robot forced Leo backwards to skid across the field but used his swords to dig into the ground. But then GUN Emperor dealt a heavy stomp that knocked Leo back a bit.

"BASH!" Then GUN Emperor delivered a powered up swing that knocked Leo to bash through a building.

"Haaah!" Just then Khamsin reached in with his left hand to apprehend Leo as the wild lion man struggled.

"KA-SLASH!/Uuurrrragh!" Without warning, Khamsin had GUN Emperor toss Leo up and dealt a charge sword slash that dealt heavy damage to Leo who yelped and rolled across the pavement.

"Ooh, that musta hurt?" Tangle cringed at seeing what happened.

"Look! He's getting up again!" Lanolin stated on what's happening with Leo.

"Grrr….CHAOS SPEARS!" Leo roared out in rage before unleash a barrage of energy arrows with a wave of his hands.

"BAM-BAM-BAM…." GUN Emperor endured the barrage that only did minor damage. "Haarrrh!" Just then from the smoke cloud, GUN Emperor went to apprehend Leo again.

"Grrrrrrr!" Leo growls from being caught before the enemy tossed him upwards. "GAaaarrrrrr!/CLASP!" Leo managed to use his last Hunter Shield to perform Brave Shield to block the damage. "CRUMBLE!" By the time it was over, the shield was destroyed from the sheer difference of attack power as the lion man moved away.

"You think this is enough! There's big plans for the world with everything that's showing up! You won't stand in the way of freedom!" Khamsin shouts off as he had GUN Emperor continue to attack by swatting the large buzzsaw sword to destroy building after building where Leo leaped off.

"BEAST KING FIST SLASH!/SLASH!" Then Leo charges energy through his Beast Fang and launched a crescent beam.

"BOOM!/Arrrrh!?" Khamsin yelped as GUN Emperor was temporally stunt from that blow just now. "How is this happening?" Khamsin protest that he should be invincible as he tries to get GUN Emperor back up against Leo's attacks. "EAT THIS!" After shouting this out, GUN Emperor jumps upwards into the air.

"Chao!?" Cheese gasped upon what he saw.

"It jumped?" Cream looked up from never seeing a jumping robot that size.

"Quick, move away!" Whisper warns the group as they quickly tried to get away. "Hugh?" But while they were leaving, someone was not following.

"Grrrr…?" Leo snarls as if ignoring the warning and brace himself.

"KA-SMASH!" When GUN Emperor delivered a powerful smash that shook the entire dock area and cause rubble to crack and misshape terrain from the buildings caught in that move.

"Aaaahhhh!?" Cream screamed as she, Cheese and the Diamond Cutters reach a distance to avoid that attack.

"That thing can do something like THAT!?" Tangle protest from having witness another crazy move.

"If the enemy was that serious from the beginning, then we…?" Lanolin felt worried of what happen if that machine hit them all with such a destructive move.

"Wait, someone is missing?" Whisper looked to notice someone else was not around.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are…" Khamsin taunts as he was stalking his prey like a predator to look around.

Unnoticed by any, Leo had instantly flashed to zig-zag around the large rubbles. Apparently was already using Chaos Snap but in a different sense. When the enemy let it's guard down looking for Leo, the lion saw when it's time…to strike.

"Grooowwllll!" Leo suddenly launched himself from a hiding spot directly for the front chest plate he grab hold to.

"Hugh?" Khamsin yelped, uncertain what the lion man was up to at this moment.

"STAB!" Then Leo jumped before diving down with his Beast Fang plunged into the Gun robots' chest where the power source was.

"Grraaaauuurrrgh!?" Khamsin cried out as he suddenly felt a power surge of electricity jolt and hurt him because of what Leo did that hurt the robot. "POW!/Guuagh!?" Then Leo retrieved his sword when the machine had an explosive reaction while Khamsin yelped from a brief break of his shock treatment. "Dirty piece o'…!" The guy was about to swear from what Leo did that he felt pain.

"Hey-hey! There are Children Present!?" Tangle exclaimed from quickly having her tail wrap around Cream and Cheese's ears from picking up a swear.

"What!?/Chao!?" Cream and Cheese called out, uncertain what was being blocked from them hearing.

"FULL POWER!" Khamsin announced as suddenly GUN Emperor was emitting a strong bright yellow glow.

Then without warning, GUN Emperor was spinning like a tornado force that tore through all obstacles. Destroying nearby dock buildings while heading for Leo.

"CLASH!/Aaaarrrrugh?!" Leo yelped as he was knocked across the area from that attack, and then reacted to pick himself up.

Then GUN Emperor performed another stomp move to corner Leo, before doing another sword swing move. But then it was a fake out for after Leo jumped to dodge, he was grabbed by the giant robot hand. After being tossed in the air, GUN Emperor swung its sword as Leo used another of his swords to block but it knocked him through a nearby window in a factory.

"Garrrrr?!" Just as Leo jumped through an open window out, was caught by GUN Emperor to toss upwards. "SLASH!/arrrrugh?!" Leo groans in pain when next up, the enemy swung it's blade attack and dealt damage as he rolled across the field. "Grrrr…CHAOS LANCE!" Leo announced as he summoned a large energy lance above him and tossed it.

"KA-BLAM!/Aaaahhhh?!" That attack dealt damage to GUN Emperor that Khamsin lost a moment and was stun.

"RARRRRR…CHAOS SPEARS!" Leo roared as he held up his left ahnd to summon a barrage of energy arrows and launch them forward.

"BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM!" Gun Emperor was taking the next beating before regaining its standing.

"Aarrrrh…Fire Weapons!" Khamsin snarled before lashing on what his next move was.

Then GUN Emperor used its shoulder weapons to launch machine guns and cannon blast attacks but Leo used his Howling Crusher to counter that move and managed to stunt the enemy. And then Leo charges to deal another blow but…

"FULL POWER!" Khamsin decided to pull another surprise, as GUN Emperor leaps high into the air.

"Grrrr…?" Leo growled from seeing this, as he reacted to instantly snap his fingers to vanish…

"KA-BASH!" That's when the same powerful move from before destroyed the whole dock area and wreck the terrain and made more buildings crumble. When it was over, the giant robot began to look for its target.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are…" Khamsin taunts to force Leo to show himself. "You can hid, but your little friends will be who I'll go after instead." When he said this, his monitor spotted the Diamond Cutters group nearby: the GUN Emperor activated it's range weapons to about open fire…

"GRRRrrrrrr." When appearing after Chaos Snap, Leo lost patients when hearing that threat. "RAARRRRR!" With another mighty roar, the lion man rushed to scale up the leg.

"Nuuuagh?" Khamsin noticed where Leo was now and he was coming up the giant robot fast.

"Rooooarrr!/STAB!" And then Leo in rage plunge both his swords into the chest of GUN Emperor.

"Goooaaaarrrrugh!?" Khamsin cried out as he felt a bigger electric shock from the same damage area course through him. "CLASH!/Ahhh?" When Leo pulled out his swords, Khamsin yelped from the jolt stung him even if he was alright, the robot suffered. "I'll KILL YOU!" Khamsin snapped in rage on making Leo pay for that. "FULL POWER!" Khamsin announced as he made GUN Emperor emit a bright golden light of energy.

"Huuurrrgh!?" Leo instantly reacted to know what's coming, and held the Beast Fang and Scale Claw in each hand.

That's when everyone knew what was coming, and brace for what it brought. GUN Emperor begun to spin in a tornado with his sword. Leo used his own weapons to block, but the force was too much that it sent the yelping lion man across and smashed against another building. At this moment, Leo seem to struggle to break free before the structure broke and he was half buried.

"Now I got you…" Khamsin declared on seeing his prey is too weaken to continue fighting.

"DANG-DANG!" But then strange concussive blast and with explosive energy rockets were fired against the Gun Robot near the exposed chest piece. "Gaarrrrrhh" Khamsin groans from the electric shock the system felt before it cease. "What the…?" That's when Khamsin noticed Whisper and Lanolin trying to distract the enemy.

"Quick, get him out!" Lanolin shouted for those nearby to help Leo right away.

"We'll aim at his walk spot." Whisper stated on trying to keep the enemy distracted as best they can.

"Got it!" Tangle shouted as she, Cream and Cheese began clearing the rubble.

"Hang on mister Leo, we'll help you." Cream spoke as she tried her best to move the debris.

"Chao!" Cheese replied as he moved little rocks due to his small body size.

"I'm getting SICK of you little fools getting in the way, that abomination is none of your concerns. You seen what he can do, if he's not kept under control…" Khamsin lashed out at those trying to help the lion man when the creature has already shown it's savagery.

"Well at least he's not wrecking cities like you!" Tangle snapped off to lecture the derange army man as he tail cleared the last rubble. "Your as derange as any enemy to the world!" The lemur truly did not hold back when speaking her mind.

"Then enough games, play time is over." Khamsin proclaimed as he leaps backwards before arming his weapons. "All Artillery- FIRE!" He announced the next order for the GUN Emperor to perform.

Then more missiles and cannon shots were fired from the GUN Emperor. Whisper tried to take out as many as she could with Lanolin using her Wispon Bell to flick and cause some missiles to blow up a distant away. All while Tangle lifted Leo with Cream and Cheese's aid and they began to run for it. But one of the shots knock Whisper away and lost her weapon.

"Ugh…" Whisper groans from feeling pain to hold her shoulder.

"Whisper!?" Tangle yelped as she drop Leo wrapped in her tail to help her friend.

"Miss Whisper…" Cream and a worried Cheese ran ahead after Tangle's direction.

"No, don't come here!" Lanolin yelped from seeing this careless action, and turn around to get to her group.

But while Tangle helped a hurt Whisper and Cheese held the Wispon before giving it to Cream, Lanolin approach the group before her eyes caught something. And that something was stirring behind the large smoke where all the explosive stuff the sheep and wolf girl stopped between them and the enemy robot.

"ITS...AXE TIME!" Khamsin announced as GUN Emperor burst through the smoke spinning super fast with its blade on the ready.

"Waaaahhh!?" Cream and Tangle screamed as there was no time for them to dodge. Lanolin tried to stand before the others with her bell and Whisper shut her eyes to await the worse.

"CLASHED!/Biiizzzzzz…" Suddenly Leo recovered enough to perform Chaos Snap to instantly appear in front of the Diamond Cutters: he used his weapons to swing upwards against the downward thrust of GUN Emperor's buzzsaw blade. The girls stared in shocking surprise, Leo was taking the heaviest blunt of that attack, and felt so much weight pressing his feet into the cracked ground. "CRACK-CRACK…" Then even more shocking, Leo's weapons were forming cracks, they were not going to last from this powerful attack.

"Nerrugh-aarrgh…" Khamsin groans as he felt GUN Emperor was struggling but it shouldn't be from it's power-up Chaos Emeralds. "Why can't you just STAND DOWN!?" He shouts in rage, infuriated that Leo is fighting a sheer losing battle.

"Grrrruurr…" Leo had a low growl as if being so beaten and wounded, his body should have given up, but… "Arrrrruurrgh…?" When Leo sees behind him those that would suffer this attack, their worried expressions…lit the lion's rage further. "ROOOOAAAAARRRR!" Leo unleashed a monstrous roar that felt like Howling Crusher pushing against the attack.

"SHATTERED!/DUNG!/Guuuah?" Khamsin yelped from the force that knocked his giant sword away from the targets to hit the ground: but at the same time Leo's Beast Fang and Scale Claw were broken in half.

"Roorrrr!" Then Leo leaps upwards into the air, gripping his left fist. "BEAST KING FIST!" He announced before launching a charged fist lion head forth.

"KABOOM!/Wooah!?" That attack was suddenly so strong it destroyed GUN Emperor's right fist and drop its sword into the ground as Khamsin yelped from this surprised feat. "Hold Still, You Little FREAK!" Khamsin then used GUN Emperor's left hand to deliver a powerful punch.

"BEAST KING FIST DOUBLE!" Leo announced another surprise motion he saved and fired a second Beast King Fist but from his right hand.

"KABOOM!" The second lion head of energy exploded to destroy the second robot hand. Then in another surprise, Leo grabbed the enemy's large sword and ushered all his strength to hurl it forth. "SLICED!/KABLAM!" That sliced across the GUN Emperor's left foot to lose balance and topple on the backside.

"No! No, I CAN'T LOSE!" Khamsin protest in outrage and disbelief that he was losing here.

"BREAK!" Then Leo broke through the other optic eye to enter the control center and find Khamsin. "STAB!" And in a shocking motion, plunge a broken Beast Fang into the cyborg man's chest.

"HUuuuuah-Aaaaahhhhh-Nnuurrragh!?" Khamsin yelps as he felt pain while a raging Leo was lifting to pull the cyborg man out of his connection to GUN Emperor: the enemy tried to yank the broken sword out but his cyborg strength was not cutting it. "BOOM!" The action caused the connection port to blow up, destroying half of GUN Emperor's upper face: Leo stood out with Khamsin and his robot tentacle legs wobbling while still impaled. "No, No…STOP!" Khamsin panicked and cried out as if giving up, but Leo didn't listen and swung him into the sky. "Aaaahhhhh…." Khamsin screamed as he was helplessly in the air.

"NrrruuaaaaaaRrrrrgh…" Leo was unleashing a pint of roar, as the aura around him became unstable as if it was suffering. "CHAOS…" His voice was deep, as he clutch his arms over the chest. "BLAAAASSST!" With those final words spelt the end…for the enemy.

"POOOWWW…" A large red burst of energy was fired from Leo heading directly at Khamsin. "Oh, god! OH GOD!" Khamsin cried out panicky as if bracing himself. "KA-BLAAAAM!" The blast had swallow the cyborg and cause an explosion that caught Khamsin from within

When the battle was over, something fell over the fallen and on fire GUN Emperor head…it was Khamsin but in parts. Leo was slowly walking out before he dropped down to where the enemy fell: the red energy surge slowly faded away. At the same time, the battle ended much to Leo regaining his senses to realize things while in a berserk state.

"Ugh, I feel as if…my primitive side was in full control, my instincts…really gambled big." Leo lightly moans from regaining a bit of himself while realizing what happened. "But still without pushing past my limits, I never could have had enough strength to win." He admits this was his only shot, and so he took it without hesitation.

"Aaaaaahhhh…" Suddenly, Khamsin was heard speaking that anyone nearby could hear him. "All this…guuuuh…and beaten by a goddam cat…" The guy was remarking the irony of his defeat while moaning in pain.

"Yes, ugh…well it is said that all dogs have their day. But for me, a cornered beast will show its hidden claws." Leo remarked to state about how he managed to overcome this hardest challenge.

"Heh…You little Freak…" Khamsin coughs while remarking how foolish Leo's statement was.

"Finally, I have won this battle. And the Chaos Emeralds, I obtain two." Leo kneels down to acquire his stolen green emerald and the one blue one from Khamsin. "I was concern when I came, but now I seem capable of this much. I am almost free from my worries…" The guy exclaimed from having been cautious about if he can handle such dangerous threats.

"You piece o'…" Khamsin was about to swear on the spot…

"Woah-woah! Again, Children present!" Tangle yelped to use her tail to wrap around Cream and Cheese's ears to not hear a very bad word once again.

"You think your free when you already know who you are." Khamsin protest to lecture the lion man who doesn't know what freedom is. "What are the freedom of this whole country?! You know what unknown dangers lurk around? Uurrrrrgh?" As he was heard arguing, he was still aching in pain.

"Unfortunately I know what my kind is, and how others might abuse it." Leo exclaimed from having to guess what his fate as an Ultimate Lifeform will lead to. "From what I feel, freedom cannot be forced on others with pretty words about what the future holds. It must be earned for oneself. And I intend to live…a free life." He declared this from knowing how Sonic could phrase it: be as free as the wind then going against it.

"Mangy…goddamn…son of a…aaahhhhh…" Khamsin was about to swear but he couldn't get his final words out as his cybernetic components were too far damaged.

"Self-destruct - engage!" A female computer voice was heard around Khamsin.

"KaBoom!" Then without warning, the body of Khamsin blew up in an explosion. That alone caught everyone by surprise, apparently it looks like there was a condition for the mercenary if he lost: his self-destruction. This only made it seem more suspicious as if trying to keep anyone from following who hired Khamsin to come after Leo.

"Cough-cough…ugh?" Leo suddenly broke out in coughs, and dropped to his knees and clutch his chest with his arm that held the two Chaos Emeralds. "Mhmmm…Chaos Blast…it was risky, but worth to beat this guy. But I may have lost myself in rage." Leo admits there was both a good, and a bad to what his decision would result in…

"Mister…Leo?" Then Leo turned to spot Cream having spoken, but she, Cheese, and even the Diamond Cutters all had strange expressions. Understandable after having witness a savage berserk state of Leo ripping and blasting a guy who lost the will to fight, and then the enemy blew up: it's a lot to take in.

"I am sorry…you all got involved with me? You saw something that was me losing control." Leo looked down in shame, he has finally meant those from the Sonic Universe, only to be considered an outsider. "I just didn't want to see you get hurt…ahhh…" As he slowly stood up, he cringed from a backlash of pain: both from the enemy and from performing a double-edge sword stunt. "If we meant another time, it would have been nice…to be friends." He at least spoke these honest words before turning to slowly walk his injured self away.

But then without warning, Tangle used her tail to wrap around Leo's free hand. The lion man looked back and saw everyone showing friendly smiles. Leo was confused until Cheese flew around the guy.

"Chao-Chao!" Cheese smiled happily to rest on the lion man's left shoulder.

"Cheese says that if it weren't for Mister Leo, we wouldn't be here. So we know you're a good person, you even risk your life to keep us safe." Cream smiled to happily admit what was the polite and honest thing to hear about Leo's character.

"You even lost your weapons in the process." Whisper stated on noticing the damage blades left behind. "I know, it's not easy to deal with things alone." The wolf girl recalls how being alone was tough rather then being around friends.

"Yeah, though you did freak us out during that battle, like you lost control?" Tangle blurted out, only to receive a silent stare from Whisper. "But-but, who cares about that? Comparing you to the other guy, your a better choice for a friend." Tangle sheepishly smile to simply brush the subject off as if the end was the better result of things.

"You didn't want us getting involved in what troubles your facing. We all can understand that much." Lanolin admits what faults they can relate to in that field. "But for what it's worth, maybe moving forward with some folks to help out can be just as helpful. Friends can help friends out in tough cases." She stated on how having good friends can help light one's way.

Leo felt as if things were finally starting to get better for him. He's made friends, and they are those he knows from the Sonic series. Perhaps someday, he can meet more characters and then…

"Leo….can you…hear me?" Then a voice was heard on Leo's com-link: the Scouter might have been damaged during the battle but the lion knew it was Nicole contacting him..

"Oh, just a second." Leo apologized for the moment, as he gently hands Cheese back to .cream who happily takes him. "Nicole, thank you for the assistance. I'm ready for pickup. No need to hid after everything." The guy was already wanting to get going back to the Leo Carrier which everyone has seen by now.

"We may have another problem arriving at your location." Nicole's voice came in more clear, only it was a warning instead.

Before Leo could ask, his instincts reacted as he jumped away from the others as they were surprised. During which when Leo was in the air, a familiar barrage of Chaos Spears were fired at where the lion man went.

"BOOM!/Arrrrrr…" Leo roared in pain as the explosion knocked him across the dock. "Grrrr…it…can't be?" When he spoke, he tried to focus his eyes on a certain direction.

What was seen coming when the dust cleared from that explosion earlier, three figures were seen with one flapping and the other made heavy metal stomps.

The first to stomp on the scene was not a living creature but a robot, the design vaguely resembles E-102 Gamma, while standing out with a sturdier upper body and arms with red eyes instead of green ones. Is also much taller than the other models and the shoulders are much larger with a red "Ω" on the front of the left and back of the right with red handlebars on the top. Course the shoulders are doubled in size and look squarer with defined grooves surrounding the equally larger omega symbol. Also, instead of the twin exhaust pipes and the Jet Booster of the first E-100 Series robots, this one has circling pipe around the waist with two flaps attached and having twin jets installed in the back below the hunch. But closer examination show the jets on the back were pointed at a lower angle. The stripe running from the head to stomach has also been changed so that it is a separate piece of metal altogether and not simply painted on like the others and also has one extra finger and two hands with yellow wrists studded with large spikes like a dog collar. Now further examination shows the flaps on the sides had also been given grooves, the front of the lower leg have red stripes, the red section surrounding the torso are split into two pieces and have sharper and somewhat skeletal hands. Just below the stripe is a plate of clear material that allows others to see some of the inner workings, course it's protruding about an inch or two from the rest of the chassis to roughly five inches.

E-123 - Omega

The second was someone that flew to the ground to land, an anthropomorphic female bat with white fur, tan skin, turquoise eyes with two large eyelashes on each one, and a curvy figure. Has large pointy ears, small fangs, a small black nose on the muzzle, a short pointy tail, and a pair of dark purple wings on the back. Only her head appears to have fur, which flares out into six points at the back. Wears powder blue eyeshadow and a pink lipstick. The attire consists of a black, skin-tight, strapless unitard with a pink, heart-shaped chestplate with white trim, along with long white gloves and high-heeled boots with pink cuffs. The boots also have gray soles and feature pink hearts on the toes.

The third and finally being was a black-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog. Has red-orange eyes, a patch of white fur on the chest, a black nose, a tan muzzle, and small, triangular ears with tan canals. Also has six quills on the head, four of which curve upwards while the other two curve downwards, two spines on the back, and a short, pointy tail. Has red stripes on each of the head quills, around the edges of the eyes, and on the arms and legs. For attire, wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tongues, and Air Shoes which, like the gloves, have black cuffs and red tongues. The Ultimate Lifeform

Shadow the Hedgehog

"Team…Dark…?" Leo muttered softly and quietly under his breath: this group was the famous Team Dark consisting renown members. The thief/spy expert and lover of treasures: Rouge the Bat. A former Eggman Robot, abandoned by his creator and is the heavy walking arsenal of destruction: E-123 – Omega. And lastly but not least was Shadow the Hedgehog, the Ultimate Lifeform and one who's got Super Speed, enough to be Sonic's rival.

"What the, Rouge, what's the big idea attacking us like that?" Tangle raised an eyebrow, shocked that this happened after they settle a major battle.

"Oh don't worry, you weren't endanger." Rouge brushed off with the usual glamour talk from trying to avoid misunderstandings.

"No, but you hit HIM!" Tangle pointed to argue where someone was attacking Leo.

"We been told about chaos running through Central City, someone used a fake drill and unauthorized use of GUN property." Omega explained the contents of what's happened that there was suspicion. "And there was a spike of Chaos Energy which brought us here." The robot explained another reason of them showing up here.

"Then you must know, someone used that robot to power it with emeralds." Whisper issued from pointing at the wreck GUN Emperor still on fire.

"Yes, but there was another spike of Chaos Energy, one that not even a machine can properly mimic." Shadow stated from stepping in to firmly note about an even bigger matter to focus on: that's when his sharp eyes gazed at the wounded lion man clutching two Chaos Emeralds. "And seeing he has the Chaos Emeralds, it's not that difficult to realize who destroyed GUN's secret weapon project to combat Eggman's giant mechs." The guy noted to Leo being the most likely candidate in having done something impossible

"But Mister Leo is not a bad guy, and he bought an emerald that some folks from GUN tried to steal." Cream pleaded for those to understand things from their side.

"Chao!" Cheese held up his arms as if trying to stop these guys.

"Purchase a Chaos Emerald? Well now I've heard everything." Rouge stated from thinking that's highly unlikely, cause if such beauties were on display she swipe them in a heartbeat.

"How can you be sure it's not real if you don't see the evidence?" Lanolin raised an eyebrow to have this team see things from their perspective.

"Despite circumstances, we must bring in this one for questioning." Omega issued on sticking to performing their duties then going back and forth here.

"Ooooohhh…" Leo groans from the pain to push himself halfway, he held onto the two emeralds in one hand to keep himself up on the knees. "Scan them…?" He secretly tap his Gun Scouter, hoping to get some data for if things go south.

When the Scouter first scanned Team Dark, it detected Shadow the Hedgehog. But then weird alarm beeps were heard, and then something appeared that shock Leo beyond words:

WARNING – UNABLE TO DETERMINE

SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG

RANK: UNMEASURED?

"I…can't see his level?" Leo muttered with widen eyes at what just happened when he received the data. "This situation…is likely my level is too low to see pass that? And that means fighting Shadow…" That's when Leo suddenly saw a large image of shadowy figures that tower over him. "I don't stand a chance against him and others as strong as him? Even GUN Emperor might be small compared to great warriors here." The lion man could tell he was outmatch, even with his recent Level-Up and STR passing over 10,000, there might be others that still surpass him that even reaching Level 100 might not be enough.

"You seem to be distracted?" Shadow's voice interrupted Leo's deep thoughts to see that serious and firm stare. "What are you planning?" The black hedgehog felt this lion was scheming something.

"Leo, I'm directly over you with the ship invisible again." Nicole was heard on the com-link of her position.

"Nicole, send down reinforcements. We need time to help in our escape." Leo gave the order under a quiet voice, realizing they can't win and must getaway.

"Understood." Nicole replied from hearing this, as she was seen on the warship and touch a holographic screen: commanding the robots they had aboard.

That's when the Leo Carrier began to appear out of nowhere directly above Central City Docks. Everyone on the ground was surprised by a large shadow, and saw a flying warship appear. Then a strange green beam of light was fired down to the ground cutting Leo off. Then when the lightshow ended, about 10 Leo Bandits and 10 Leo Hunters appeared like a battalion.

"Enemies detected!" Omega issued from switching his hands for gatling guns.

"Wait, are these Eggman Robots?" Rouge raised an eyebrow, puzzled by these strange robot figures.

That's when the Leo Bandits began to unleash their blast fire rounds, causing Team Dark to take evasive maneuver's. At the same time, the Leo Hunters dashed in to deal with slashing claws or hammer smash moves, causing confusion. And if that wasn't surprising, these bots shapeshift to have wheels on the feet and hands, keeping up with speedy types.

"Ugh, what's going on? Are we endanger?" Cream asked as she and Cheese watch puzzled by this robot attack but they were not targeted.

"I wish I knew, is this a new robot series by Eggman?" Tangle scratch her head from feeling completely clueless.

"No, something is off? Look at what they are doing." Whisper issued as everyone saw Rouge dodging the Leo Bandits gun fire and Omega shooting at the speedy Leo Hunters. "They're only keeping Team Dark at bay." She stated on what the objective was being done was only on one team.

"That is strange?" Lanolin held her chin to think deeply about this action. "They're attacking, but it only looks lethal while the others are not holding back? This act, if I didn't know it I say this was…" The sheep girl couldn't help but think there was something more going on here.

That's when Team Diamond Cutters looked away from Team Dark's battle, and noticed Leo was dragging himself away. There were explosions of some L-Series being destroyed, as Shadow easily wiped out five Leo Hunters. But the black hedgehog noticed something, as they fought, these robots actions were strange, and then he saw…someone slipping away in the confusion.

"They're a distraction!" Shadow exclaimed after punching a Leo Bandit away before speeding after the slippery lion man for a Homing Attack now.

"Ahhhh, need to distance myself. Here goes…" Leo exclaimed from seeing Shadow coming at him, and decided to try another attempt. "CHAOS BOOST!" He roared out another technique on the spot.

Then without warning, Leo was covered in a bright blue aura, then jumped upwards in a speedy fashion. Shadow just missed hitting the target on the ground to uncurl to see where Leo went.

"Hugh?" Shadow looked surprised at what he saw, Leo held his arms up to summon energy arrows.

"CHAOS SPEARS!" Leo roared as he launched the energy arrows to fly downwards.

"BOOM!" The attack caused explosions and dust clouds to spread around Shadow. Leo managed to land just on top of a tall dock building and saw his robots were almost finished by the other members of Team Dark.

"Now Nicole!" Leo called out to the warship above, it's time to vacate.

Soon the Leo Carrier prepared it's engines as a green beam was fired down to where Leo was. As the smoke cleared, Shadow saw Leo being beamed up into the carrier. When that was over, the warship began to hover away while going in invisible stealth mode. On the ground, many of the Leo Bandits and Leo Hunters were destroyed and scatter all over with Team Dark members Omega and Rouge. The Diamond Cutters looked at the destruction, trying to understand if these robots…were helping Leo escape back to that ship in the sky.

"Chao-Chao!" Then Cheese was seen flying over to Cream with something in it's hold.

"What is it Cheese?" Cream asked as the Chao gave her, a piece of paper. "A receipt…where did you find this?" The rabbit girl asked puzzled to find this survived from the major battle that happened here.

"Wait, let me see!" Lanolin took a look at the paper from Cream and read it. "Purchase Item – a large Green Gem!? It even has the date and time matching up to when that fake drill was happening." The girl issued from having see this was the proof to clear Leo's name.

"Ah-ha! You see, Leo told the truth, he DID purchase a Chaos Emerald! We got the proof!" Tangle declared to cheer while pointing to rub this in the other team's faces.

"Well now, I'm about as stump as to hearing that and everything else?" Rouge raised an eyebrow after having heard such a truthful story they assume was a lie. "Come on boys, looks like we gotta report this in?" The bat girl waved to the bot and black hedgehog that they are leaving.

"Understood." Omega nodded his head as he change his gatling guns back into his hands.

"You alright with this Shadow?" Rouge looked to Shadow who seem to be staring off into space.

"That lion…he used the same technique as me, as if he copied my skill?" Shadow stated on what he witness and theorized a matter that was concerning to him.

"Copy, I thought anyone with Chaos capacity can do those things if they had an emerald?" Rouge looked puzzled, she assumed that only if one has a Chaos Emerald or is naturally gifted in chaos energy can perform such techniques.

"Yes, but the way he did it, was not with the aid of the Chaos Emeralds. I sense something in the Chaos Energy when he attacked and tried to gain speed." Shadow explained this as if having senses something strange about Leo. "They felt closely similar to what an Ultimate Lifeform like myself can do." He mentions this as some open evidence on the manner that only those beyond normal beings can achieve.

When Shadow said this, everyone around heard it. Rouge seem surprised while Omega had the same expression. While Cream and Cheese seem somewhat taken, Tangle, Lanolin and Whisper were taken aback for the black hedgehog to make such a claim.

"If that's the case, does that mean…?" Whisper muttered out loud and held her chin from taking in everything they know.

"Leo the Lion, is an Ultimate Lifeform?" Lanolin exclaimed from saying it slowly, but still surprised by it.

"Woah! That's just insane, right?" Tangle was literally amazed, that might explain what Leo could do that not many others can do.

"Looks like we got boat loads of paperwork to deal with, tell you what…" Rouge signs to shake her head, knowing how this is gonna take when telling GUN the news. "Let's give and take a bit. You tell us anything about our evasive lion friend, and we'll undercover what's going on behind GUN's closed doors. Kay?" She looked to the Diamond Cutters to offer some trade, a 'you scratch my back, I scratch your back' sorta deal.

"Alright, and while we're at it. Promise us that you won't attack until you heard his story." Lanolin firmly steps forth to shake Rouge's hand in hoping for a better cooperation.

"Well, we can try. So I'll leave it at that." Rouge shrug off her shoulders to admit they'll try to play it by ear.

With enough said and after a brief explanation on what those that meant Leo knew of him, Team Dark began to move out to secure the area and put out the fire around GUN Emperor.

"Well that was…a very interesting experience?" Tangle scratched her head from feeling sheepish about what went on. "Major Shopping, Crazy Truck Runaways and Killer Giant Robots. I think I'm pooped for the day." She stretched her arms and tail out, today's been super busy.

"Well, if we hurry to meet my mother, then maybe we can enjoy some Chao Cake." Cream smiled in suggesting what they do from here. "Want to join us too Miss Whisper and Miss Lanolin?" She politely asked those rpesent if they join up for a little treat.

The Wisp pop out from Whisper's containers, sounding excited and appear to insist that the wolf girl take the offer.

"Okay, okay, we would gladly accept the invite." Whisper smiled a bit to accept Cream's offer for a desert treat.

"Yes, surviving near close calls do work up an appetite." Lanolin smiled with ease on how they might as well enjoy a treat after what they went through.

"Yeah! Cake time!" Tangle pumped up her fist with joy: but she stopped with a sweaty worried expression. "Ah, just as soon as I pick up all the shopping bags I left behind. Can you guys help me, I don't wanna miss cake?" She clapped her hands to beg Whisper and Lanolin help her, she doesn't want to miss out having a tasty cake.

"Very well." Whisper lightly nods after seeing the poor lemur in a begging state.

"We'll help too." Cream happily replied to give assistance.

"Chao!" Cheese cheered to offer help as well.

"I'll call us a cab, and have them pick us up. Just tell us where you where before you left." Lanolin stated as she pulled out some communicator to make a call.

Tangle sheepishly grin with a nervous face, as she tried to remember where she left the shopping bags. But luckily Cream remembered which made it easier on where to go for a destination. But while everyone was moving on, a familiar object hovers in the air that once house GUN Emperor's weapon. And on the side was a camera lens spying on events slowly taking place.

MEANWHILE

XGUN BASE

The scene opens to the same dark room where Big Jack was station. And on the wall monitors displayed screens showing the damage of GUN Emperor, and footage coming in with GUN personal having arrived on the scene. And while Big Jack watched, Milo stood near him, uncertain if he should speak up or not.

"Um, sir…are you alright?" Milo asked from feeling an unsettling tension in the air.

"Why, because we just saw millions of dollars down the drain, our hired gun was taken out, and our target escaped? And to top it off, lost TWO CHAOS EMERALDS!?" Big Jack exclaimed with a pretend calm, then irritated remark tone while sounding the last part out.

"Ye-yes?" Milo replied nervously, Big Jack sounds really mad.

"Actually, I'm doing very well." Big Jack replied as if having gone from mad to happy.

"Hugh, but-but…you sounded so mad?" Milo yelped completely confused by the mood swing.

"True, losing Chaos Emeralds is a bummer, but hey…we'll just get them back when collecting the others." Big Jack tapped his chin but brushed it aside knowing they aren't in a rush for the emeralds…yet. "Because while on front, we lost…We secretly gain information about our mysterious kitty cat?" He rubbed his hands with a joyful mood on something else they obtain even if they did not capture the elusive Project X.

"UPLOAD COMPLETE!" On one of the monitors, displayed an upload link that reach completion.

"GUN Emperor had a little black box placed inside, that all it's data will be used to study it's performance. So that will make future GUN Robots, more better." Big Jack explained the intriguing plot about what they get, so win or lose, they obtain something of value. "But that's not all…that thing where the sword was kept, it's still airborne but doing two things outside of hosting a weapon. Download the data, and…" The guy was explaining the other special functions of something that was left un-touch.

"SECRET OBJECTIVE PROGRAM OBTAIN…" The female computer voice announced while files were secretly moved from one document to another.

"Goody it's already here and in our system. Now delete from old source." Big Jack was overjoyed, then immediately gave the command as the system was deleting a secret file within the GUN Emperor's black box. "Can't have anyone snooping about some things. Like who gave Khamsin GUN's secret project robot, so that'll be something left for the masses to imagine." He leans in his chair, smiling at having removed a problem leading back to XGUN.

"Imagine what sir?" Milo raised an eyebrow, completely lost.

"Why this of course." Big Jack points to change one monitor to show a news broadcast.

"Our latest report: A rampaging GUN project tearing across Central City." A newswoman spoke as the background revealed the latest footage of a massive truck tearing through streets. "Some witness the events that happened." She mentioned as the channel changed to some folks on separate screens.

"The thing just smashed through the bridge, I was gonna enjoy a pleasant walk but stop to smell the fresh daisies. Good thing this old lady is slow and enjoys taking in the scenery." An old lady explained his topic of what happened during the tragedy.

"I saw it fly and drive pass me, I work in office on the 49th floor and now we got tire marks on the windows." A office suit man with glasses explained and showed tire marks on a window.

"My kid used my telescope and said the truck belonging to GUN change into a Robot. And when I saw it, it was already having wrecked the docks." A mother spoke as her child was playing with her telescope to see all the wrecked sights in the city.

"Ehhh, I been collecting and chopping fish here for a long time, now we got this wreck. Who's gone and done all this?" An old fisherman was seen holding a large caught fish when looking at the destroyed city dock.

"We asked GUN for an update, and it appears we got one?" Back to the news woman, prepares another topic relating to the problem. "A mercenary stole the new robot project, and used it to cause mayhem. Authorities are already suspecting this was the latest work of Doctor Eggman. In other news…" The woman revealed some thoughts about what or rather who was the main cause of what happened by the docks.

That's when Big Jack turn off the news to push the chair out for him to stand up and fix his suit a bit.

"What I tell you, no leads and the blame goes to somebody else." Big Jack declared proudly on having handle that perfectly well. "Come along Mirk, we gotta go collect something while nobody is watching." He stated as Jack Hoarder was on the move.

"It's Milo, and what else is there?" Milo corrected while asking another question.

"What else, you saw the beating Project X got, right?" Big Jack stops to look at the silly new trooper to catch up on what's happening. "So there's certainly going to be blood samples off the wreckage. Best to act quickly before someone else acts." Anyone that took a beating would have surely had bruises and cuts: and some blood lose to boot. "And with that blood and this data, I'll make contact with a friend who'll like this very much." He expressed the manner with a sly giggle of a grin.

"Who's that?" Milo ponders who Big Jack was even referring to.

"Someone who wants to outperform Doctor Eggman, he's also a member of GUN and has connections to HIGH-TECH where we acquired the means to construct GUN Emperor. You'll love the guy." Big Jack explained the few details on someone they'll meet is one who maybe another undiscovered genius. "And he'll love the little gifts we're bringing to make a new chapter page within XGUN history." Big Jack grins wickedly at loving the idea that's about to unfold.

The scene shows Big Jack and Milo exiting the darken office through a sliding doors. Afterwards, the doors closed and everything went dark while unknown threats continue lurking about…

ELSEWHERE

AT AN UNKNOWN LOCATION

The scene opens to show a strange chair watching monitor screens displaying the events of what happen in Central City. And the one watching it was an all too familiar man.

A tall, bald, obese human standing 6 feet and 10 inches tall and weighing 128 kilograms (282 lbs). He has an overlengthed brown mustache, and pale skin. Also has long lanky limbs, contrasting the skinny, stake-shaped body. Possesses facial features such as a round face, long, pointy chin, pointed nose, and a toothy grin when smiling. Wears rectangular goggles, navy blue pince-nez glasses, white gloves, a red jacket with orange cuffs and a white zip, and black pants and shoes. This man can be none other then one of Sonic's known foes…

Doctor Eggman

"Grrr…." Eggman growls in sounding very annoyed right now. "UNBELIEVABLE!?" He shouted with rage and threw his remote that bounce off the screen and across the room.

Then entering the entrance where the remote lay, were two strange looking robots.

First was a robot with a round head composed of a semi-spherical read head cap with a smaller black semi-sphere under it for a lower face. The lower face can separate to reveal a cover, representing the mouth, and he has two gray-framed and light-blue eyes. Has also a ball joint for a chest and red gloves for hands. The arms and back consist each of two thin bars that are joined by a ball joint. The lower body is a small semi-sphere with a gray inside and a ball joint connecting it to his back. Apparently the rest of it is black and gray with a few red joints

Orbot

Second was a robot, but slightly taller than Orbot. Has a black square head with a flattened, yet wider yellow square cap on top and a larger black square on the bottom, the latter of which resembles a jaw. The jaw can separate from the head to reveal a light blue cover resembling a mouth. Also has two gray-framed and pupil-less light blue eyes. The chest consists of a smaller yellow cube, and has yellow gloves for hands. The arms and back consist each of two thin gray bars that are joined by a black and yellow ball joint. The lower body is a black open cube with a gray inside and a ball joint connecting it to the back.

Cubot

"Oh dear, it appears the doctor is upset about something? He even threw the remote?" Orbot stated upon getting the remote to give it back to the doctor.

"Did he bet on the wrong horse to win the race? I know I blew my allowance this week." Cubot exclaim from what foolish thing he did and thinks that's why the doc is upset.

"Since when did I start paying you two dolts?" Dr. Eggman remarked on how he has to deal with two dimwitted bots constantly. "Nevermind, I rather not know. What I'm upset over is this!" He issued to brush the useless issue to focus on the news on the screen.

"The news, yeah, it's boring. Nothing ever GOOD shows up." Cubot issued on thinking nothing good seem to catch their attention.

"I beelive Doctor Eggman was referring to the news about him. Don't feel too bad sir, you'll succeed one of these days." Orbot tried to encourage the doctor to not give up after one bad failure.

"Close by not quite. They say that I performed a nasty scheme of stealing GUN's new robot and wrecking havoc across Central City." Dr. Eggman stated on what the news mention went down at this moment.

"Gee, what's so weird about that?" Cubot scratch his head, not following at all.

"One: Why would I, the great Genius Doctor Eggman, sink so low as to steal robots from GUN. I invent and make robots, why would I steal others." Dr. Eggman argued about how foolish folks were misunderstanding his genius.

"But wasn't there a time or two, you used other technology for your own gain?" Orbot points out a subject that Dr. Eggman did do that involved tech outside his own.

"That was advance civilization, completely different!" Dr. Eggman remarked for the bots to follow along and not guess. "And secondly, while I am plotting world domination, I rather be given credit where credit is due by my OWN action. And this…is not my own doing!" He points to the screen and states the entire incident on the news was no way his OWN handy work.

"Wait, are you saying somebody is out posing as you?" Cubot asked a bit surprised when learning this. "Hugh, are you even our REAL Boss?" The bot points to accuse that they are working for an impostor.

"Keep that up and I'll recycle your servos and melt your tin plates and make you into a GarbageBot!" Dr. Eggman gave a strict lecture while threatening what awaits those that push their luck with his temper.

"Okay, that's DEFINITLY our boss." Cubot replied from taking back what he said, realizing this was the real Eggman.

"But why would someone pin the blame on you sir?" Orbot asked completely baffled by the whole false pretense.

"My guess, because of this." That's when Dr. Eggman shows one of his spy drones revealing Leo's escape from the massive truck up to his fight against GUN Emperor, even calling in a warship. "That lion man, not only does he exhibit Chaos Energies, but that warship had a small trace of my old Egg Carrier network, so it's likely been remodeled after being fixed up." The doctor was quick to learn what Leo was able to do and having what was Dr. Eggman's own warship that was supposedly lost at sea. "I've ran countless simulations on this creature's abilities, and the answer is always the same. And if so, then this makes things all the more intriguing, especially if it has ties to Shadow the Hedgehog and my grandfather Professor Gerald Robotnik." He stated on knowing this is one creature that's rare to find like a lost jewel.

"Ugh, what's the connection again?" Cubot ponders out loud, rubbing his chin with zero idea on the matter.

"I think it was about creating the Ultimate Lifeform." Orbot steps in to explain the simple math of what Dr. Eggman is saying.

"Yes, and this creature seems capable of such things. But unlike Shadow, it appears to be in it's early stages." Dr. Eggman stated from witnessing Leo's power-up before it faded, and he was weaken and had to flea back to his ship and escape pursuit. "But if left alone, how much stronger will it become. Even I cannot fathom such a thing when Shadow was under my employment?" The doctor held his chin while sounding curious. "So someone is after it, which makes it all the more interesting to beat whoever is blaming me right to the punch." He grins widely, as Dr. Eggman has a plan that will really tick off any that oppose him.

"I missed it, what's the punch line?" Cubot raised an hand to ask a dumb question.

"I'll tell you later." Orbot pats Cubot on the back, knowing it'll take a while to explain.

The scene slowly zooms away, as Doctor Eggman is now secretly planning something else on the scene. And now with Sonic's arch-enemy interested with Leo, his peaceful days will be that much harder to keep.

AT THIS TIME

ABOARD THE LEO CARRIER

The scene shows Leo Carrier in the skies while under it's cloak stealth function. Then zooming in, we spot Nicole having helped an injured Leo towards a new area finished. What was once the Torture Room aboard the old Egg Carrier, has now become the Medical Bay. It was a clear room with medical beds, an office desk room, an examination room in a field barrier setting. But the most interesting additions were two large containers filled with some form of liquid with a glass dome for the face area. Nicole had placed Leo in one of the two containers as it filled with liquid as he had a breathing mask.

"The damage you've sustain after that battle will be fully healed soon with this liquid." Nicole explained as she began to run the program to help Leo's recovery.

"Thank you Nicole, it's good we had this place in mind." Leo gave thanks to the holo-lynx for bringing him here.

"Yes, you did study and decide this place would be the highest if ever you were injured." Nicole replied on knowing it's not just fixing the warship for defense, but to help during injuries from battles. "Base on your condition, you may need either a few hours or a day at most." Nicole explains that due to having suffered much, Leo will need more time to heal after his battle with GUN Emperor.

"I see…" Leo lightly nods with his eyes shut, understanding the matter of time he needs. "I suppose there's nothing that can speed this up." The guy admits that though these Restoration Chambers are helpful, the design is only a prototype model he started and have made.

Nicole checked on Leo's new current update on his level after his victory against GUN Emperor. And it's quite a surprise when seeing the stats having changed on the screen:

Nicole was working almost a few hours after seeing Leo's stats. Apparently while having unlocked King Of Destruction, much of STR and DEX were packed in, so apparently the other stats received a bonus addition.

"Hmmm, how am I?" Leo spoke from opening his eyes a bit from resting.

"You've leveled up a lot. You're now closely at Level 60." Nicole explained where Leo's current strength is at right now.

"Hugh, well I was almost hoping for more." Leo signs a bit, sounded both pleased but not a lot for some reason.

"You fought against a Level 75 while only at Level 50, I say the odds were stacked." Nicole stated that against the odds, it would have been hard to win a 25 Level difference. "But thanks to the right strategy, you made it out. And have now three stats over a thousand." She was trying to say that there was some good positive results after coming out of that battle.

"I guess, still to face an enemy that strong, but it's nothing…" Leo expressed from having some self-reflection on the matter. "When compared to the unknown. Why couldn't I see Shadow's level?" He saw the question marks over Shadow, which meant that was a dangerous opponent not to face head on.

"Perhaps you can't face another Ultimate Lifeform yet?" Nicole theorized it was because Leo and Shadow are somewhat the same Ultimate Lifeforms, and can't read one another.

"Maybe, but I know RPG Game Logic. Perhaps since the other Sonic characters have fought longer, their strengths are higher. Maybe beyond Level 100, but how far I'm uncertain?" Leo exclaimed from trying to unveil such a deep mystery, but he was uncertain. "How I long, to reach where they are…" He shut his eyes to continue to rest and let the healing device do it's work.

Nicole continued to work while Leo was recovering. Apparently that question was hanging around, that Leo may come across those so strong that he can't even learn how to handle them: all because they are out of reach or somewhat entirely different. Almost 8 hours passed as Leo's wounds were about healed, Nicole believed it would be almost time for him to come out. And then something appeared as a pop-up screen alerting everyone:

"What the…This is…" Leo exclaimed from what he was looking at with surprise.

"Your second Evolution Rank-Up? And the Rewards appear especially special." Nicole stated on having analyzed that was happening, and knew it was a rare treasure.

"Well, it's a surprise, but not too unexpected?" Leo slowly replied from absorbing this news: he figures that someday he could evolve again, just not this soon.

"It appears that this next one, it's somewhat incomplete. And that it requires Chaos Emeralds." Nicole pointed out a major addition to detail on what cost would trigger an evolution. "Are you fine doing it while still recovering?" She turns to ask Leo for his thoughts of only going up by halfway.

"I'll manage, for now….let's inspect what's here for a Reward." Leo lightly nods while wanting to shift their focus on something else.

Nicole began to display the information on those that Leo acquired or would receive. The digital holographic image revealed these things with explanation:

INTEL ON SUBJECTS

*Giant Robot Schematics: After taking down a giant robot, obtain the blueprints to create medium and even larger size robots. One's intelligence can help utilize existing machinery in vehicles to help make new unseen robotics. Even going so far as to build a giant mecha robot to help in dangerous situations.

*Arise New King: A new legend is born, all will hail the rise of one who is destine to be king. In old times, kings are born from royal bloodlines, but sometimes a king of the people can also be born. With such a rare title, one's name will slowly begin to shine. One's growth will increase, all stats may gain double and triple their original numbers to help a new king rise up for the challenge ahead.

*Lost Ultimate Lifeform Notes: When Professor Gerald Robotnik was working on creating the Ultimate Lifeform, he was making notes about their creations. But from problems with BioLizard, the professor secretly sought aid from Black Doom of the Black Arms to help perfect Project Shadow. When Shadow the Hedgehog was created, Gerald Robotnik had secretly made a disk containing ideas and theories on how it maybe possible to create Ultimate Lifeforms. The professor secretly hid this disk from falling into the wrong hands, fearing that using such new lifeforms as weapons of destruction were not what Gerald Robotnik had hoped for.

*Giga Professor: A Superior Job specialized in research on living creatures. Has the ability of the Analyze function, allowing one to analyze a living creature. Very few have this unless their IQ is well over 300, an example being Professor Gerald Robotnik who managed to create Ultimate Lifeforms using materials: some of which are animal DNAs. To go even further would be creating custom creatures that aren't normally born, have special skills or unique biology. Depending on the skill and method of the user, they can create untold number of Ultimate Lifeforms that either are like animals or sentient intelligent beings.

The reviews on the Rewards, including the title and job were very breath taking. Nicole was about as surprise as Leo was when reviewing these things. And to obtain a second superior job after King Of Destruction as a reward after evolving, is a big shock to gain without a doubt.

"The Reward I got from beating GUN Emperor, and even this new one I'll receive when I evolve. These are crazy." Leo exclaimed from looking over what he's obtain and what he will obtain after evolving.

"And lastly the title you gain from reaching a superior job with a 'King' in it's name? It maybe a sign for those that have the potential to be king." Nicole explained what Leo has obtain is something so rare that it's like the story of one who would be king.

"Yes, I never thought of it…" Leo looked down with a stump expression: flashes of what he experience came to mind. "I just came to this world, tried to survive it and figure out myself, and already…I have the markings of a king." Leo stated each part with a heavy thought of what lies for him in this world. "Hmph, I experienced playing games of those building their own kingdom, maybe it's a sign." The guy lightly shrug off with a light chuckle, realizing this is related to games that involved running a kingdom battle, etc.

"Then are you ready?" Nicole asked to see if Leo has decided.

"I am…" Leo lightly nods while looking straight at Nicole. "My Choice to Rank-Up….is YES!" Leo showed determination in his eyes, ready to embark on what awaits him.

"Acknowledged." Nicole "The system shall begin…"

That's when Nicole decided to bring forth the two Chaos Emeralds, and place them into a slider compartment for the Restoration Chamber. Soon as they appeared, Leo touched both Green and Blue Chaos Emeralds, and a bright light was emitted from his body.

"Gggrrrr…." Leo let loose a low growl, apparently when he underwent this he was unconscious. "ROOOOOAAARRRRR!" He unleashed a mighty roar as many bubbles escaped his breathing mask.

A bright flash occurred from within the Restoration Chamber, as Nicole shielded her eyes. When it was over, the chamber made a beep sound, as the hatch door was opening as steam escaped. As the steam was clearing, someone inside slowly pulled the breathing mask off, and stepped out. Leo's body was still that of muscular lion-man only to have grown taller to be 12 feet tall. However now the usual fur color was changed around: The main fur was golden yellow fur, the mane was now an orange color, and the other features show a light golden-brown nose, mouth, and ear tips, while the eyes remain blue. The facial feature is somewhat different, with two sharp crescent fangs coming down from the upper mouth and giving a more youthful appearance. The only stuff worn was the Heavy Duty Slacks, Gauntlets Of Strength, and what remain of the Adventurer's Scarf.

"Oh my…?" Nicole was taken aback from seeing what Leo has evolved into, as the pop-up alert screen appeared before the new lion-man.

2nd Stage: Elite Beastman (Lion/Warrior Type)

Species: Golden Lion Hybrid

"How do you feel?" Nicole asked from studying and determine, Leo's conditions were all better.

"I feel…stronger?" Leo gripped his fist, as he perform a punch thrust: it was indeed faster. "And if this is only at the half state, I'll be more interested what the complete version is?" Leo was even more curious of what he gain if he obtain the complete part of this second stage evolution.

"I'll look into it, but what do you wish to do now to pass the time…?" Nicole asked from knowing that right now, everyone maybe looking for the lion man that cause a scene.

"Now….we pass the time of trying our hands…" Leo spoke as he suddenly held what looked like a data disk. "At what Gerald Robotnik achieved! Only now, we may have a chance to do something beyond that." The disk he has may very well lead to something big about Ultimate Lifeforms like him and Shadow. "Perhaps that will give me time to adjust to my new evolved body while trying my own hand at making dare I say..." The guy pauised this moment while having his eyes closed.

The scene begins to zoom out while Leo slowly opens his eyes. And what the lion-man said would be the start of accepting the role as king: but not as 'King of Beast', but of another species:

"Ultimate Lifeforms…"

The Pepper robot that appeared in this story is an existing robot model.

The Leo Bandits and Leo Hunters are made to be apart of Leo's robot crew. They are based on Unitrix and Exor from the Medabots series.

The GUN Military Truck has been seen in pass Sonic games up to it's third version.

*This Fourth Version has more additions and stuff similar to the Egg Fort 2 from Sonic X. Even the Robot transformation is base on E-99 'Egg Emperor' from Sonic X.

The GUN Military Truck Robot Mode is base on Ultra Magnus Premium Finish model. The Transformation is a scene from Ultra Magnus transform from a fan made video with a Transformers Cybertron anime show theme.

The Newly made Egg Carrier, dubbed as Leo Carrier, it's appearance is based on IGF-Atlas from Voltron Legendary Defenders TV Series.

Some scenes match those from Sonic X episode 26 when the hero faced a Chaos Empowered Robot.

The Boss Battle event scene play is a reference from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance from the DLC of Khamsin Boss Battle. But with some alternation for this work best to fit in this Sonic theme version.

A Major introduction of Sonic characters, we know Vanilla, Cream and Cheese who appeared in comics, games, and anime series. And a surprise introduction to the Diamond Cutters: Tangle the Lemur, Whisper the Wolf, and Lanolin the Sheep from Sonic IDW comic series. Now recently there been signs of these three getting to become popular to appear in Sonic Games, and may become a new future addition. (Examples: Tangle & Whisper appeared in Sonic Dash, and fans have even gone as far to find a Lanolin mod character for Sonic Frontiers to play her)

Leo's evolved form is based on GrapLeomon, but only one half of it. Picture it's like Zero Suit Samus without the extra armor battle suit (which means you can guise, why it's only halfway in the second evolution stage, and what can be expected in the future).

Well now, this had lots of excitement, and now for the next one. Next chapter, Leo has tried to create Ultimate Lifeforms, but so far he's made what seem like little creatures that are actual more like pets. And during the time, working too hard leaves one exhausted and in need…of a vacation. After selecting to visit one of the relaxing areas in Monopole to cut loose and refresh one's spirit, Leo may encounter other familiar faces along the way. Why, because there's a fashion show event and among the themes has something to do with 'Fishing' and 'Hammering', so what's gonna be the next big event? Well it may involve messing with the advance weather system, causing chaos indoors, and all because there's a big bounty to be collected on a certain lion-man. What's gonna happen that the first downtime may just become Leo's last vacation if something isn't done? Better stay tune to find out, until then…enjoy…
