"Victor and Cinderace's training at the Mustard Dojo had begun, while they learned of Kubfu's past. Now the young Pokémon had joined our heroes, what could be next?"

"The Porygon Crisis"

Outside the Master Dojo, Cinderace and Kubfu are standing a couple feet apart. And off to the side, Gloria and Impidimp are watching, with Impidimp yawning.

"Cinderace, Double Kick! Kubfu, Rock Smash!" Victor calls out.

"Cinder!" Cinderace runs ahead.

"Kub, Fu!" Kubfu runs ahead.

Cinderace jumps and spins around, launching a kick.

Kubfu jumps and starts to throw a punch.

Cinderace's kick and Kubfu's punch collide, before they break apart.

Meanwhile, inside the Master Dojo, Hyde is watching the scene from a window.

Honey walks over to Hyde, noticing him watching the window, before she smiles and approaches him.

"Hyde, dear," Honey says, with Hyde quickly turning to his laptop. "The station had requested your assistance with the Rotomi. It appeared to be malfunctioning." Honey glances at the window. "Maybe you should suggest Victor and Gloria to come along for help?"

Hyde starts to close his laptop, "I don't need any help."

"Victor, Gloria!"

Hyde, with a slight panicked expression, looks out the window to see Honey was already stepping outside, approaching them. Hyde closes his eyes, as he blushes.

Victor, Gloria, Cinderace, Kubfu, Impidimp, and Hyde are entering the Armor Station.

Victor sees the Rotomi at the end of the building, "I saw Rotomi at stations and Pokémon Centers before, but I honestly have no idea what they are."

"Rotomi are PCs that the Pokémon Rotom inhabits, similar to Rotom Phones," Hyde says, as he walks past Victor, with his Rotom Phone floating up, before Victor smiles at it. "People all around Galar use them."

Hyde places a hand on the Rotomi, "But they are still computers, and as such they could still malfunction."

"Which is why the station asked for your help?" Gloria asks.

"This is far from the first time I repaired one," Hyde explains, before starting to type at the Rotomi's keyboard, which lights up with each button press.

"Wow, Hyde, I'm impressed you're so good with computers," Victor says, as Hyde types at the Rotomi.

After a few moments of Hyde continuing to type, Victor smiles a little with a sweatdrop.

"Guess he's in his own world when he's at a computer," Gloria says.

Victor looks over to her, "Come to think of it, since we arrived, Hyde had always worked on his laptop all the time."

"Now that you mention it, I don't think I ever saw him interact with any of the students, or do anything else," Gloria adds.

"I wonder if Hyde's just shy," Victor looks down slightly.

"That's odd," Hyde says, as he stops typing and Victor looks back at him. "A Porygon got into the Rotomi."

A pixelated Porygon appears on the Rotomi's screen.

"I think I heard of Porygon," Victor says.

Victor's Rotom Phone flies up, "Porygon, the Virtual Pokémon, In recent years, this species has been very helpful in cyberspace. These Pokémon will go around checking to make sure no suspicious data exists."

"The Porygon must've got stuck in the Rotomi, and its intrusiveness is what caused the malfunction," Hyde says, before he resumes typing. "Simple enough to fix, I just have to write an extraction program…"

The pixelated Porygon lifts its head slightly, before the screen starts to surge with energy.

"This shouldn't be happening… what…" Hyde stops typing, before he is surrounded with energy. "Arrggh!"

"Hyde!" Victor calls out.

Victor, Gloria, Cinderace, Kubfu, and Impidimp start to reach for Hyde, when they all become surrounded by energy. Followed by a flash of a bright light, all six are then nowhere in sight.

Hyde slowly opens his eyes, before seeing he's floating in an empty space, with strange lines surrounding him, almost like a circuit board, as Victor, Gloria, Cinderace, Kubfu, and Impidimp all slowly wake up.

"Cinder?"

"Wha… Where are we?" Victor asks.

"I-I think we somehow got sent into the Rotomi," Hyde answers.

"How is this possible?" Gloria tries not to float upside down.

"I'm not sure," Hyde places a hand on his chin. "I'd heard about research in the Kanto region on transporting living matter through electronic signals." He then looks around, "But this is next level."

"Pory, Pory-gon," a Porygon approaches the group.

"You!" Hyde shouts, causing the Porygon to stop its approach, startled. "You're the reason that the Rotomi malfunctioned, and got us trapped in here."

Cinderace and Kubfu float in front of Hyde.

"Cinder."

"Kub, fu."

"Pory-gon?!"

"Hyde, are you sure Porygon is at fault?" Victor asks, as he floats sideways.

"It's obvious what happened," Hyde says, glancing at Victor.

"But Porygon doesn't appear hostile," Gloria floats over to Hyde. "In fact, it seemed to be afraid."

"Pory… gon…" Porygon backs away slightly.

"If it's not Porygon, then who could be behind it?" Hyde asks, watching the Porygon.

"Hold on, there's a Rotom inside the Rotomi, right?" Victor asks, floating right side up. "If we're inside the Rotomi, then where's the Rotom?"

A flash of electricity in the distance got the group's attention, with them seeing a Rotom, who appeared to frizzle, as the image of a backward "L" appeared behind it.

"Rotom…?" Hyde notices the image of the backward "L". "It had been affected by a virus."

"Rotom got a cold?" Victor asks.

"I meant a computer virus," Hyde says, slightly annoyed.

"Oh, right," Victor says, with a sweatdrop.

"Ro… Roto…" Rotom continues to frizzle, as a ball of electricity forms in front of it. "Roto!"

The ball of electricity launches from the frizzling Rotom.

"Cinder!" Cinderace shoots a series of small fireballs from its mouth, colliding with the ball of electricity, which explodes.

As the smoke clears, another ball of electricity flies ahead.

"Impi!" Impidimp pushes Gloria out of the way, as the ball of electricity flies past them.

"How can we stop Rotom and escape the Rotomi?" Gloria asks.

"I-I don't know…" Hyde looks ahead, with a panicking look.

"We're gonna have to defend ourselves," Victor holds up a Poké Ball. "Go, Silicobra!"

Victor throws the Poké Ball, but it just floats through the air without opening.

"Hum, Silicobra…?" Victor looks ahead, surprised.

"Our tech mustn't work inside the Rotomi," Hyde realizes, before looking down, with his hands on his head. "Which means even if I do have my laptop, there's nothing I can do. What can I do?!"

Victor places a hand on Hyde's shoulder, "Hyde, you need to calm down."

"Calm down? How can I calm down?" Hyde removes his hands, looking up at Victor.

"I know this is a stressful situation, but if there's anything I've learned, it's that you must keep a level head, or you can't solve the problem at hand," Victor explains.

"Keep a level head?" Hyde repeats.

Gloria looks over, before looking terrified, "Victor! Hyde! Watch out!"

Victor and Hyde look over to see Rotom had launched a ball of electricity at them.

"Pory-gon!" Porygon calls out, as three beams surround it, before launching, colliding with the ball of electricity, which explodes.

"Porygon?" Hyde says, as Porygon floats in front of him and Victor.

"I wonder if Porygon got stuck by the virus," Victor guesses, with Hyde looking over at him. "And Porygon brought us in so Hyde could help."

Hyde looks at Porygon, "Is he right?"

Porygon floats around to face Hyde, looking apologetic, "Pory-gon…"

Hyde starts to look apologetic, "I'm sorry too, for blaming you for everything."

"Roto… Roto!" Rotom calls out, launching balls of electricity after balls of electricity.

"Pory-gon!" Porygon pushes Hyde, who holds onto it, as they dodge a ball of electricity.

"Cinder!" Cinderace kicks away a ball of electricity, then grabs Victor and dodge another.

"Impi!" Impidimp grabs Gloria, dodging a ball of electricity, then another.

"Kub, fu!" Kubfu punches a ball of electricity, then jumps back to dodge another.

"What can we do?" Gloria asks, as Impidimp gets them away from another attack.

"Pory-gon!"

Hyde holds onto Porygon, as they dodge attacks, "Think the problem through, think the problem through…" Hyde, still dodging, looks over at the Rotom and the image of the backward "L". "Normally I would use an anti-virus to deal with the virus. But we're in a unique position right now.

Cinderace, with Victor, dodges a ball of electricity.

Impidimp, with Gloria, dodges a ball of electricity.

Kubfu punches away a ball of electricity, before it reaches Hyde and Porygon.

Hyde keeps his eyes on Rotom and the image of the backward "L", "If we could separate the virus from Rotom, then we could delete the virus with an attack."

"How can we separate it?" Victor asks, as he and Cinderace come to a stop. "Wait, Rotom could enter electronic devices, right?"

"I was thinking the same thing," Hyde says, as he and Porygon come to a stop. "And while such devices usually possess surge protection, we could still use a strong electric current to force Rotom and the virus apart.

"Cinderace, Kubfu, and Impidimp doesn't have any electric attacks," Victor looks at each of the Pokémon. "And since our Poké Balls don't work here, I can't release Pikachu, so we don't have any electric attacks."

"We do," Hyde says, getting everyone's attention. "We just need to force Rotom to unleash one."

"Right," Victor and Gloria say.

"Cinder!" Cinderace jumps ahead.

"Impi!" Impidimp jumps ahead.

"Kub, fu!" Kubfu jumps ahead.

"Cinder!" Cinderace kicks a large fireball.

"Impi!" Impidimp fires swirling dark energy from its hands.

"Roto…" Rotom, while frizzling and with the image of the backward "L" following it, flies around to dodge the fireball and swirling dark energy.

"Kub, fu!" Kubfu jumps ahead, launching a punch.

"Roto…" Rotom flies back to dodge the punch, before it surrounding itself with electricity

"It's Thunder Shock!" Victor realizes.

"This is our chance!" Hyde adds.

As Rotom fires the electricity, with the image of the backward "L" starts to back away, while a thin dark string keeps it connected to Rotom.

"Kub, fu!" Kubfu comes flying down, chopping its hand through the dark string, severing it, with the backward "L" backing away.

"We need to destroy the virus now!" Hyde calls out.

"Pory-gon!" Porygon floats in front of Hyde, as three beams surround it, before firing ahead.

The three beams collided with the backward "L", which dissipated.

The electricity surrounding Rotom fades away, before it looks around, confused, "Roto?"

"Alright!" Victor and Gloria high five.

Suddenly, the entire surroundings start to glow brightly and slowly disappear from outward to inward.

"The Rotomi is starting to reboot," Hyde realizes.

"Is that a good thing?" Victor asks.

"Except that any living thing inside the Rotomi, except for the Rotom, might end up deleted," Hyde explains, with Victor starting to look nervous.

"Pory-gon," Porygon approaches Hyde.

"You can get us all out?" Hyde asks.

"Pory-gon," Porygon happily says.

Hyde places a hand on Porygon's head, followed by Victor, Gloria, Cinderace, Kubfu, and Impidimp placing hands on Porygon's back.

All seven glow brightly before disappearing suddenly, leaving Rotom alone.

All seven reappear in the Armor Station, in front of the Rotomi, falling onto the ground, surprising a couple people.

"We're back," Gloria says, before sighing. "Thank goodness."

"Impi," Impidimp starts to laugh.

Hyde sighs, before hugging Porygon, "Thanks, Porygon."

"Pory-gon!" Porygon happily responds.

Later on, in front of the Master Dojo.

"Again!" Victor calls out, as Cinderace jumps up.

"Cinder!" Cinderace spins and kicks, colliding with Kubfu's punch.

"Kub, fu!"

Gloria and Impidimp are watching, with Impidimp yawning, as Honey approaches them from the dojo.

"Victor, Gloria," Honey starts, with Cinderace and Kubfu landing and turns to her. "I want to thank you all for helping Hyde." She smiles. "Hyde seemed to be the happiest he had been for a long time."

"We're glad to have helped, but I don't think we are responsible for his happiness," Gloria tells her.

Inside, Hyde is typing at his laptop, when he notices Porygon approaching him.

"Pory-gon."

Hyde closes his laptop, smiling.

Suddenly, Hyde and Porygon rush out of the dojo, as Hyde calls out, "Mom, we gotta play for a bit."

Honey and the others watch as Hyde and Porygon are running.

"By working together, our heroes manage to save the Rotomi at the Armor Station, and now Hyde has a new friend in the form of Porygon. What could be next for our heroes?"
