Chris: Last time on Total Drama Action, the 16 contestants returned for another shot at winning 1.000.000 dollars!
The camera shows footage of Priya and Damien walking out of the bus, then Nichelle out of her limousine and then of all the contestants standing next to each other.
Chris: We started the season doing a popularity vote. It was won by Priya, while Julia unsurprisingly turned out to be the most hated among her peers. As a reward, both of them got to be the first to pick their teammates in the schoolyard pick, which resulted in many friends and lovers getting separated…
Footage of the teams being picked is shown. Julia chooses Damien which causes Priya to be mad at her, Wayne picking Millie and then being devastated after she chooses Zee instead of Raj.
Chris: After the teams were picked, the first challenge of the season began, where all they had to do was to find me. Sounds too easy? It does! Which is why those kids also had to fight elements during a terrible storm and an earthquake!
The next footage shown is Emma, Chase and Caleb laying on the ground while the floor in the theater is shaking, then it plays the scene of Millie saving Ripper from falling down a rift.
Chris: In the end, Tired Screenwriters have won the challenge and at the elimination ceremony we said goodbye to Ripper. Who will share his fate and will be the 2nd person to walk the Red Carpet of Shame? Find out in Total. Drama. Action!

Intro begins with the camera flying through the filming lot. It stops at a beach set, where shirtless Caleb is sunbathing. He gets a jealous look from Bowie who's making out with Raj, the hockey bro being too focused on his boyfriend to even pay attention to Caleb. The camera moves again to a set that looks like a very dark and creepy forest. Emma and Chase are sitting on a bench kissing, while a bush behind them starts moving. Suddenly a masked character with a chainsaw jumps out of it scaring the couple and causing Chase to push Emma, while he himself runs away. The masked character starts to giggle and takes off the mask revealing herself to be Lauren. The camera moves a bit to the side as Chase passes by Millie, Priya and Damien. Millie is holding her notebook and looks like she's about to write something there, but stops herself and puts it back. Meanwhile Priya and Damien are talking about something with Priya blushing. The nice conversation between the two stops when they see Millie running from something and they immediately start running after her, as Lauren starts chasing them with a chainsaw. When they disappear out of sight, Axel reveals herself, camouflaged to be almost completely unidentifiable from the trees. The camera moves again to the cafeteria where Nichelle vents about something to Zee and Ripper. While Zee seems to be amused, Ripper is visibly bored, so he farts to entertain himself. Nichelle immediately starts gagging and runs past MK who holds something in her hand, but hides it in her jacket as soon as she notices the actress. At last the camera shows the big theater where Chris and Chef are standing, both wearing matching, fancy suits. Then it pans to the audience, where Wayne and Julia, both wearing formal outfits, are sitting next to each other. The Hockey Bro is smiling at the girl, who's too busy using her phone, but after a few seconds she notices him smiling… Just to go back to her phone, causing Wayne's smile to disappear. The camera then shows the whole shot of the audience, showing that all of the contestants are there, wearing fancy suits or gowns. The intro ends with showing the logo of the season that is nearly identical to the original Total Drama Action.

At the boys' cabin, Caleb and Chase were already sleeping, while Bowie and Raj were cuddling together in Raj's bed, laughing about something. They were interrupted by Damien, Wayne and Zee coming back from their elimination ceremony.
Raj: Oh hi guys! How was it?
Damien: I don't know. How did you feel whenever your team lost a challenge last season?
Raj: Oh, right. Sorry, my bad.
Damien rolled his eyes, then went to his bed. Zee also walked past the couple and got on his bed, while Wayne went to his best friend.
Bowie: Ripper is out? Did Julia rig the vote or what?
Wayne: Well, Axel suggested voting her out, but I think I convinced her, Millie and Damien to vote off Ripper.
Bowie, looked up confused and stood up to face Wayne
Bowie: What do you mean, they wanted to vote her off, but you convinced them to NOT do it?! Julia. Is. An enemy!
Wayne: She's your enemy, not mine and it's not like she deserved to get eliminated. She almost won that challenge for us.
Bowie clutched his head in disbelief.
Bowie: I can't believe I need to explain this. Wayne, Raj is your best friend and my boyfriend, which means that the smartest and the most logical thing is for the three of us to play the game together! Julia is my number 1 enemy, which means she's also the alliance's enemy!
Feeling the atmosphere growing tense between the 2 boys, Raj stood up and came between them, trying to calm them down.
Raj: Hey, hey! There's no need to-
Wayne: Well, I don't want to eliminate Julia. I kinda like her.
Bowie: Nobody. Likes Julia… Well except Zee, but he likes everyone, I guess.
Raj: HEY! Guys, stop. Please. It's making me sad seeing the two of you fighting like that.
Both of the boys looked at each other and then Raj.
Wayne: …I'm going to sleep.
Bowie: Yeah, same.
Bowie and Wayne went to their beds and even though they stopped fighting, Raj still looked sad and unhappy with what just happened.
Raj(confessional): I hate to see them like that. Bowie spent 2 weeks with me during the break and it's pretty obvious that he and Wayne got along mostly for my sake. Wayne completely supports me, but he's just kinda grumpy that we can't spend as much time as we used to, while Bowie gets easily annoyed with Wayne. I'm just sad that they can't get along.

Next day, the contestants with the exception of Chase, Damien and Priya, were all at the cafeteria. While waiting in the line for another disgusting thing that Chef made, Lauren was approached by Julia.
Julia: We need to talk.
Lauren: I'm all ears.
She smiled in her usual, creepy fashion at the blonde girl, which caused Julia to be pretty disturbed.
Julia(confessional): You know, you're desperate when you have to ask a complete weirdo like Scary Girl to join your alliance, but she's the only person who might be more disliked than me. I need her for now, but I'm ditching her as soon as we make it to the merge.
Julia: Well, it's your lucky day. You are invited to join my all-
Lauren: Deal!
The blonde girl herself looked quite shocked.
Julia: Wait, really? Wow, that was easy.
Lauren: Desperate times call for desperate measures. - She giggled to herself - However I do have two conditions.
Julia: Ugh, what?
Lauren: If we lose we're voting for Millie.
Lauren(confessional): Millie sent me home last time and I will have my revenge. Obviously eliminating her is not enough to satisfy my thirst for vengeance, but it will be enough for now.
Julia thought about it for a second and just nodded..
Julia: Yeah, nerd girl one going now, will weaken nerd girl two. I'm down to that. What's your second condition?
Lauren: We are NOT going to vote for Damien.
She said it in a very threatening, almost demonic voice, causing Julia to take a few steps back.
Julia: Alright, I'm fine with that! He's not much of a threat anyway.
Lauren smiled and started clapping.
Lauren: Yay! Friend! - She hugged the blonde girl who put on a fake smile - …But on the topic of Damien, do you know where he is?

Damien and Priya were cuddling together on a beautiful hill, under a sakura tree. The leaves were flying around, the sun was shining, it was beautiful and it would be a perfect place for a date, if not for the fact that it was all a set in some old, dusty magazine and everything there. was fake. Despite this, it was enough for the couple to have a nice time.
Damien: You know, it's nice to spend some time together again. Ever since the show started, Scary Girl has been following me everywhere.
Priya: Ohhh, do I have a competition?
The two of them laughed, until Priya stopped to think about something.
Damien: No, really don't worry about her. The only way she could steal my heart is if she literally took it out of my chest… Actually, I can see her doing that.
Priya: No, no, I'm not worried! But maybe… Could her obsession be useful?
Damien: What do you mean?
Priya: Well, In season 3 a superfan of the show got a chance to compete against some of the original contestants. She had an obsession with one of them and basically carried him, while he tried to eliminate her for basically the entire game. He's often criticized by the fans for not taking advantage of her love for him, cause if he did, he would probably win the season. Maybe-
Damien stood up and shook his head.
Damien: No! No, no, NO! If she realizes that I'm using her for the game, she won't hesitate to kill me in my sleep! And, then she will probably go and kill YOU in your sleep!
Priya: Hey, it's just a proposition! If you feel safe in your alliance with Axel, Wayne and Millie, then stick with them!
Damien(confessional): I don't care if someone already was harassed by some psycho on this show! No matter what happened in that season that Priya talked about, it wasn't Scary Girl! She's an actual danger to society, this show and me!
The date was interrupted by a high pitched noise that came along with every announcement.
Chris: Goood morning actors! All of you have 20 minutes to get to the theater, when the next challenge is going to be announced!

Doors to the boys' cabin were slowly opened by Raj, who walked in and started looking around.
Raj: Hey Chase, everyone is waiting for you and the challenge is starting in 10 minu- Oh, he's still sleeping.
Raj walked over to the bed Chase was sleeping in and was about to wake him up, before Chase suddenly sat and held his hands as if he was flying, startling the hockey player.
Chase: I LOVE YOOOOU!
Raj: Oh, wow. I'm sorry Chase, but I don't feel that way abo- Oh, he's talking in his sleep.
Raj looked confused as to what to do in this situation so he started by gently shaking Chase's arm, but when it didn't seem to work he started to shake him with much more force, however it took slapping the steamer to finally wake him up.
Chase: Ouch! Hey, what are you doing?
The dark haired boy looked around and immediately jumped off the bed.
Chase: Don't say I overslept!
Raj: Um… Alright, I'm not going to say that, but it doesn't change the situation…
Chase: Oh, dude, it's, because I had such a weird dream! It was similar to what happened the day I got eliminated, except everyone looked like vegetables, bleh.
Raj: Oh, Bowie told me about that day! Apparently, it was the worst moment for him in the entire game. He kinda resents how Emma took you back, just, because you sacrificed yourself for her.
Chase looked confused at the hockey bro before laughing.
Chase: Dude, what are you talking about? I did that for pizza, not Emma!
Raj: Wait, so Emma forgave you for everything you did to her, because she thought you pushed off Millie and Julia, then sacrificed yourself for her, but you actually did it all for pizza?
Chase: Yup!
Raj looked confused and uncomfortable, while Chase still didn't understand the situation. You could see the gears in his head slowly moving as he finally got a grasp on what happened that day. The boy grabbed Raj by his shoulders, completely panicked and started shaking him violently.
Chase: Oh my God, Raj please promise me that you're not going to tell Emma about it! If she learns what happened, she is sooo going to break up with me! Again!
Raj: Uh, I don't know. I like Emma and she deserves to-
Chase: Raj, I'm begging you!
Chase fell down on his knees and started crying into Raj's chest, while the other boy looked even more uncomfortable than before.
Raj: Ummmm… Okay! Alright! Just please, stop crying. I hate seeing others being sad.
As soon as Raj said that, it was like a switch. Chase stood up with the largest smile on his face, as if he never even shed a tear.
Chase: Thanks dude!
Chase(confessional): How was I supposed to know that Emma doesn't understand that my love for pizza is stronger than my love for anything or anyone else? It's not like there's anything weird about that, everyone loves pizza!
Raj(confessional): I'm so conflicted. I promised Chase that I wouldn't tell Emma about this, but she should know. Chase should be the one to tell her, but… He's not really a good person, so I doubt it will happen.

Raj and Chase both walked into the theater, where the other contestants and Chris were waiting for them.
Chris: Why are the two of you so late? You were supposed to be here 15 minutes ago.
Chase: Sorry, Raj just really needed my help with something.
Chris just rolled his eyes at the boy's excuse.
Chris: Whatever, just don't do that again. - He watched with an annoyed expression as the two boys got in line with the rest of their teammates - …Now that all of you are here, we can finally introduce you to the theme of today's challenge!
Suddenly, the lights went out, except for one, bright reflector that was focused on the entrance to the theater, gaining everyone's attention. A drum started playing in the background, building the atmosphere for the great reveal - Chef walking in, while wearing a black robe, purple tie and a gray wig.
Julia: Um, what?
Chris: As you can see, Chef will be the judge of your next challenge - a mock trial, based on tv series, cartoons and movies about lawyers and court cases. Each team will pick 3 representatives - An attorney, their assistant and a prosecutor. Everyone else will play the role of a witness. Your task for the trial is to prove that the other team is more dysfunctional than yours. That's one way to win this challenge, however, if you can cause every witness of the opposite team to leave the courtroom in a dramatic fashion, your team will automatically win the challenge.
Millie: Wait, but why do both teams need to pick an attorney and a prosecutor? Wouldn't it make more sense to make one team the accuser and the other the defendant?
Chris: It would, but where's fun in that? The way it will work is that, first team's attorney and their assistant will defend their team against the prosecutor's allegations. Then we will switch it around, then again, until every witness gets at least one chance to testify. Currently the cafeteria is undergoing small renovations for our trial, so until they're done, you guys have time to decide your representatives.

The Angry Directors were having a team meeting at the main camp. Axel was standing before her team, while the rest was sitting on the stairs to the girls' cabin.
Axel: Alright team, so we gotta decide on who will represent us in the court. Any propositions?
Her team was silent, with the exception of Wayne who excitedly raised his hand. Axel looked at him with irritation and sighed.
Axel: Yes Wayne?
Wayne: Oh, pick me! I want to be our lawyer!
The rest of his team exchanged uncertain looks between each other.
Axel: …Do you even know how trials work?
Wayne: Of course! I watched 2 episodes of "How to Not Get Away with Murder".
Axel: …I guess, that's good enough. Okay, so now we need an assistant and a prosecutor. Any takers?
Once again everyone is silent. Once again, the silence holds up for a few seconds before Wayne finally speaks up.
Wayne: Well, I think that Millie and Julia would be great for those roles.
Julia: No thank you. I will be honest, I think our team sucks. Just my opinion! However I don't think you want someone with that mindset to have an important part in a challenge like this. I can stay for this stupid "trial", but I won't be useful as the assistant nor the prosecutor.
Axel: Ugh, fine, I will be the prosecutor, but you better hope that we won't lose this challenge.
Julia rolls her eyes and takes out her phone, no longer paying attention to what others talk about.
Axel: Millie, what about you?
Millie: Well, I don't know…
Millie(confessional): I'm scared, cause I know that the most common reason for the elimination at this stage of the game is losing the challenge for your team. The assistant is not as important of a role as the attorney nor the prosecutor, but I'm still scared of failing at it… But if not me then who? Julia said she won't do this, Scary Girl won't leave Damien alone and Zee is Zee! …I guess, I have no choice.
Millie: …Okay. Fine, I will be your assistant Wayne!
Wayne: Sweet! High Five!
He brings his hand to Millie and after a moment of hesitation she high fives him.
Millie: Alright! Let's win this challenge!

While the Directors were deliberating at the camp, the Screenwriters stayed at the theater. Here it was Emma who was taking the charge.
Emma: So, is there anyone who wants to take one of the roles?
Bowie and Nichelle immediately raised their hands.
Bowie: Me! I will be our prosecur. Thank you very much.
Emma nodded and looked at Nichelle.
Nichelle: I wanna be the attorney!
MK: Maybe not. Maybe let someone who's, I don't know, smart, do this.
Nich gasped in a very dramatic way outraged by MK's comment, but before the two could start to argue, Emma stepped in.
Emma: MK, come on, don't act like that. Nichelle may not be the best physical player, but this is not a challenge where it matters. If she wants to, let her be our attorney.
Nichelle: Thank you. At least SOMEONE believes in me.
Emma: Yeah!
Emma(confessional): I don't believe in Nichelle. I think there would be better choices for our defense, but I agreed for Nich to take this role, cause otherwise I feel like it would be very easy for her to leave the court, which is something we don't want.
MK: You know what? Fine, but I'm gonna be Nichelle's assistant.
Nichelle: Huh?
MK: I mean, someone gotta keep you in check and who's better for that than me?
Nichelle: Wait, no! Uh… Objection?
Emma: Overruled. Sorry Nich, but if we're letting you be the attorney, it's only fair to allow MK as your assistant.
Nichelle: But-but-
Before the actress could argue with this decision, a high pitched noise meant an announcement.
Chris: The cafeteria is ready for the challenge! I expect to see all of you there in 10 minutes!
Emma: Well, this settles it then. Nichelle as the attorney, MK will be her assistant and Bowie as the prosecutor. Alright Screenwriters, let's go!
The yellow team started to walk towards the cafeteria. Raj was walking a bit behind them, still conflicted over events from the morning, the unsure look on his face was noticed by Bowie.
Bowie: Hey, you okay? You've been looking so sad today. Is this because of my argument with Wayne?
Raj: No, it's not that. It's just… If someone tells you a secret, but the thing they told you is causing harm to someone else, is it alright to tell the harmed person that secret?
Bowie: Ummm… Well, it depends. If it's my secret, then no. Keep it a secret. But if it's like… Julia or MK, then yes, you absolutely should share whatever they told you.
Raj: No, it's neither Julia nor MK. It's…
Before Raj could say, Chase walked over the couple.
Chase: Hey guys, maybe let's pick up a pace?
Bowie: Alright, just give us a sec, Raj was telling me something.
Chase started to look a bit worried, which caught Bowie's attention.
Chase: Uhhh, what did he want to say, if I may ask?
Raj: Oh, nothing important, really! Let's-Let's just go!
Raj quickly started to walk away from the conversation, followed by Chase who just smiled awkwardly at Bowie and shrugged. Their reactions caused the last boy to start to piece the puzzles together.
Bowie(confessional): Chase and Raj are definitely hiding something and I need to know what. Chase ruined my friendship with Emma and now, my boyfriend is sharing a secret with him? Oh heck no.

The cafeteria was made to look akin to a courtroom. On the left there were two counsel tables, one for Wayne and Millie and the other one for Nichelle and MK. On the other side were sitting Axel and Bowie, who shared their table. Chef, who was still wearing his robe and wig, was sitting on his podium, between the attorneys and prosecutor. Next to him, there was a podium prepared for the witnesses who were sitting across him on a bench, waiting for their turn to speak. In the middle of the courthouse was standing Chris who was ready to explain the challenge.
Chris: I'm glad that we can finally start! We are going to start with Directors defending themselves against Bowie's accusations, who will choose one of the witnesses to give their testimony. The witness can't lie about any of the questions they will be asked.
Julia: Or what?
Chris: Let's just say that there's a… shocking surprise waiting for them.
Priya: So we will be connected to a lie detector and if it detects a lie, we're going to be shocked with electricity?
Chris looked at Priya, annoyed that she ruined the surprise.
Chris: You're such a killjoy, do you know that? Anyway, after the first witness gets interrogated and there's no more questions for them, then we're going to switch and MK is going to be defending Screenwriters from Axel.
Hearing the words "MK", Nichelle looked at Chris with rage in her eyes.
Nichelle(confessional): Why is everybody so freakin' rude?! Why am I the one catching strays left and right?!
Chris: A witness that got called once, can get called to testify once again, but remember that the challenges either end after everyone gets interrogated at least once. If this happens, the attorneys will get one last chance to explain why their team works better than the other one and then Chef will make his verdict. It's also possible that one of the teams will win by default if all the witnesses from the other team leave the room. So, with that being said, let's begin the trial!
With everything explained, Chris stepped aside and immediately, Chef slammed his gavel.
Chef: The court is now in session for the trial of the contestants of Total Drama Action.
MK and Nichelle looked at each other surprised by Chef.
MK: Wow, Chef really got into the ro-
Before she could finish, Chef once again slammed his gravel, startling MK.
Chef: SILENCE! Don't make small talks in court.
Wayne: The defense is ready, your honor.
Bowie: Oh, right. The prosecution is ready.
Chef: Prosecution, please make your statement. You may also call your first witness.
Bowie looked at his peers on the bench. Julia was on her phone, Chase and Emma were making out with Raj looking uncomfortable at them, Zee was drinking his soda, Scary Girl was harassing Damien who looked uncomfortable, but Priya was giving him a thumbs up, while Caleb already seemed over this.
Bowie: Well… I call Zee to the stand.
Zee: Alright, dude!
Zee(confessional): Sometimes, me and my homies watch real life court cases, if we're really bored and there's nothing interesting on tv. I know exactly what to do in a situation like this!
Zee was bawling his eyes out.
Zee: I'm guilty! I did this! I had no choice, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Please, please, I don't wanna go to prison, I'm too young for that! Do you know what they will do there to someone like me?!
Bowie: …I haven't even asked you anything.
As soon as the flamboyant said that, Zee immediately stopped crying and chilled out.
Zee: Oh, right! Hit me with your best shot, dude!
Bowie: I-I-I don't think it will be necessary. Should I make a statement or something?
Chef was just holding his head in despair.
Chef: This generation is doomed… Let's just get to the next one.
Zee just smiled and went to his place.
Zee(confessional): Nailed it!
Meanwhile, Wayne and Millie just exchanged worried looks.
Millie: It doesn't look good. We're already off to a bad start.
Wayne: It's alright, there's still a lot of time left. We can still win it.
While the two were talking, Caleb was called by Axel as the next witness.
Axel: So, Caleb, how would you describe the atmosphere in your team?
Caleb: It's fine as of now. The show started only 2 days ago, there wasn't much time for conflict. - The muscular boy smirked - Especially since we won yesterday's challenge.
Axel: You're right, this season started just 2 days ago… However, just 9 weeks ago we finished filming the 1st one. It's not enough time for many of the conflicts to die down, so tell me, how do you feel around Bowie, who caused you to be the 1st boot of the previous game?
Nichelle stood up and slammed her desk.
Nichelle: Objection! The events of the first season should NOT be taken into account while talking about our CURRENT teams.
Chef: Overruled. Grudges and bitterness stay with people long after the show ends. Just ask Heather and Gwen from the original cast.
All the eyes were on Caleb who just sighed.
Caleb: There's some hard feelings there, I'm not going to lie, however I think it's hypocritical to ask me about my feelings towards him, while you yourself were incredibly bitter towards Ripper.
Axel: You're right, but you missed one key detail - Ripper is out, Bowie is still in the game.
Chef: Any more questions towards the witness? - He looks at Axel and Nichelle, both are shaking their heads - Very well then. Bowie, back to you.
While Bowie was thinking about the next person to pick, Millie whispered to her partner.
Millie: Psss, something is wrong with Raj.
Wayne: Yeah, I noticed it too. I had an argument with Bowie earlier and I think he's still sad over this.
Millie: No, no, look at how he looks at Chase and Emma. Something is off there. - Wayne took a closer look at his best friend and after a moment nodded his head - Umm, excuse me? Your honor?
Chef: Yes?
Millie: Would we be allowed to call for a witness?
Bowie looks with shock, as Chef takes a moment to think, but after a moment the judge nods, causing Millie and Wayne to exchange excited looks.
Bowie: Hold it! Chris said that only the prosecution can call for witnesses!
Chef: Trust me, Chris cares more about the show being interesting than about the show being consistent. - He looked at Millie and Wayne - Who do you call to the stand?
Bowie(confessional): This show and changing rules mid challenge? Why am I even surprised, ugh!
Wayne: The defendants call my buddy Raj to the stand, your honor.
Raj(confessional): I'm not a good liar and even if I was, Wayne would immediately see right through me.
Raj looks around worried and slowly walks over to the stand. Chase stops kissing Emma when he notices that.
Emma: Did something happen?
Chase: Uhh, nooo, let's just… Let's just go back to making out!
And so they do, without Emma having any more questions.
Wayne: Rajie, my buddy, you've been looking kinda down today. Does it have something to do with your teammates?
Raj: No…
Immediately Raj gets shocked and screams in pain as everyone gasps. MK and Nichelle whisper to each other.
MK: Wellll, we're screwed.
Nichelle: Oh come on, they have Julia and Scary Girl. Whatever Raj has a problem with is probably nothing in comparison to those two.
Chef once again slammed his gravel, silencing the two girls. Meanwhile Wayne and Millie smirked at each other, feeling that they're getting close to something big.
Wayne: So, do you wanna share with us, what is bothering you so much?
Raj: No, not really.
Wayne: Oh, okay! I guess we'll just have to ask you about each of your team members individually. So, MK, Chase or maybe Nichelle?
Raj looked down, not answering the question, while his best bro whispered to Millie.
Wayne: It's one of them, he always looks down when he hides something. - Wayne struck a confident pose and smiled at Raj - So, do you wanna say it or do I have to make you?
Meanwhile, Julia for a few seconds stopped using her phone and paid attention to the trial with a slight smirk on her face.
Julia(confessional): I'm shocked. Wayne is doing way better as our lawyer than I expected. Putting your best friend under so much pressure, just like that? Cold. I like it.
After a few more, Chef spoke up.
Chef: Silence will be met with repercussions.
Raj let out a defeated sight and looked at the audience.
Raj: I-I promised, I won't tell Emma.
As soon as she heard her name, Emma pushed Chase away and looked concerned at Raj.
Emma: What can't you tell me? Why can't you tell me? Should I be worried?
Millie: Emma, would you please cover your ears for a second? It would be greatly appreciated.
The blonde girl looked around and noticed Chase looking angry at Raj. A tear fell down her cheek, but as she wiped it, she covered her ears, while still looking at her boyfriend who just looked more and more nervous.
Raj: …Okay, so earlier today, when I went to wake up Chase he told me about the day when he and Emma got back together. It was the challenge where you guys were standing on the poles, right? - He looked uncertain at Chef who nodded - Right. So, he knocked down Millie and Julia from it and then got himself eliminated, making Emma win the immunity… But he didn't do it for her. He did it for the pizza.
A collective gasp is heard from all the contestants. Emma lowers her hands and obviously, heard it all. For a moment she looks heartbroken, before her expression turns into pure rage. She slowly starting to approach her boyfriend, all while Chase slowly backs away from her.
Chase: Emma, babe! You know, I love you, right? It's just that, when I see pizza, I kinda just lose control over myself, you know and, heeeey, even if I did that for pizza and not you, you still won the immunity thanks to me, soooo, it was kinda for you! …Please don't hurt me.
As his back hits the wall, he covers himself in fear, having nowhere to go, but before Emma can hurt him in any way, she just stands there for a second looking at him.
Emma: …I wasted so much time with you and when I finally got away, I ran back as soon as I thought you did something selfless for once in your life. Bowie was right. You are pathetic… - She let out a faint laughter as the boy was still shaking in complete fear, all while Priya, Lauren and Damien were eating pop-corn just behind them - …But I'm even more for allowing myself to be treated like that. For the last time, this, the joke that is our "relationship", is OVER!
She turns on her heel and goes straight through the entrance, being the 1st person to leave the courtroom.
Chase: Wait… Babe! You can't be serious! Emma, come back!
He immediately runs after her, leaving Priya as the only witness from their team to be interviewed. Everyone is too shocked to say anything after the drama that just happened, everyone staying completely silent until Chef slams his gravel.
Chef: Finally, this girl made a good decision… We're taking a break, the trial will resume in 5 minutes.
Bowie(confessional): Wow. Normally it feels good to be proven right, but… There's something bittersweet about this one.
Raj(confessional): So, I caused two of my teammates to leave the court, which… Sucks a lot, but I don't think I'm going to get blamed for this. If we lose, I think we can all agree to just vote off Chase.
Emma(confessional): I just… I can't believe how dumb I am.

The Directors were already in a celebratory mood due to what just happened with Emma and Chase, while the Screenwriters sitting across were looking at them with jealousy.
Raj: …I'm sorry guys, I feel like this is my fault.
Bowie: Don't worry, babe. - He hugged his boyfriend - It was just a series of unfortunate events that caused all of it. Personally, I'd say since we're probably going to lose, I think we just vote off Chase.
Nichelle: Absolutely. I mean, who does that stuff? I just want to know how their relationship looked if for a full 9 weeks, Emma didn't realize that Chase didn't change at all.
Caleb: As someone who saw it first hand - a lot of making out. Pretty sure they spent more time making out than actually talking to each other.
MK: Yikes. That's sad.
Caleb stood up and started walking towards the exit, until Priya blocked him.
Priya: Wait, where are you going? The trial will resume in a few minutes!
Caleb: I already gave my testimony and someone should probably check if Emma's okay… Or if she killed Chase. Either way, I'm probably the closest person from the cast to her, so.
Priya: But- Um- …Bowie!
Both teenagers looked at the fashionista, wanting him to decide.
Bowie(confessional): As much as it pains me, that Emma is closer with Caleb than me… He's right. We didn't speak to each other for the last 2 months, while the two of them were living together for most of that time.
Bowie nodded with an approval and Caleb walked past Priya as she looked unhappy with that decision. Meanwhile Bowie turned his attention to Nichelle and MK.
Bowie: Well girlies, it will be hard, but we gotta do our best if we want to win this.

Back at the main camp, Chase was smashing the doors to the girls' cabin begging Emma to let him in.
Chase: Calm down, babe! Let's just talk about this!
From the window, a shoe is thrown at him, which he barely ducks under.
Emma: DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!
Chase: This is the first thing that you said since we got there! See, we're already making progress!
The next thing that gets thrown at him is a hair dryer. He doesn't have that much luck in dodging it, causing him to get knocked back, landing right under Caleb's feet. The muscular boy just looks confused.
Chase: Oh hi, Caleb! Would you mind helping me out… I think I broke a bone or two.
Caleb sighs and helps the influencer stand. Chase immediately grabs his back in pain.
Chase: Can you believe that she threw a hair dryer at me?
Caleb: Yes, I actually can. And you do deserve it.
Chase: Wow, so unprovoked. - He rolled his eyes and turned his back to Caleb - Now, if you don't mind, I am going to try and make up with my girlfrie-
Before he can finish the sentence, Caleb tackles him to the ground, right as a bed flies right above their heads.
Emma: Don't call me that. EVER. AGAIN.
As Chase and Caleb stand up, Chase just laughs it all.
Chase: She can get a bit emotional sometimes. Now, where was I… Oh, right!
Once again, he tried to get to the door, but before he could, Caleb grabbed him by his hoodie.
Chase: What are you doing, dude? Let me go!
Caleb: Let it go, Elsa. She doesn't want to talk to you.
Chase: But we gotta work out her issue!
Caleb sighed, annoyed at Chase's refusal to see his fault.
Caleb: …Emma is upset right now and it would be hard to talk with her right now. Maybe, let her rest and when she calms down, then try talking to her?
Chase stopped to think for a moment, but eventually he smiled and nodded.
Chase: You know what, you're right! Thanks Caleb!
The muscular boy let go of the orange hoodie and Chase went to the boys' cabin. After he heard the doors being closed, Caleb rolled his eyes and walked over to the girls' cabin where he gently knocked at the door.
Caleb: Emma, it's me, Caleb. Chase left, if you wanna talk, I'm here.
The boy waited a few seconds at the door, before he heard footsteps and the sound of the door being unlocked. Emma opened the door to the cabin and before he could say anything, she grabbed him and locked the doors behind them.
Emma: …Thanks for coming to check on me.
Caleb: Of course, I would. You're my friend.
Caleb smiled at her and after a moment the girl hugged him and started crying into his chest.
Emma: I just don't know why I went back to him! Everyone and I mean, everyone told me that it's a horrible decision! My parents, fans, Bowie. Even Julia approached me during the finale and said that I deserve better!
The boy patted her on the back.
Caleb: We all make bad decisions sometimes. You thought he changed and it's not your fault that you were wrong. Just… Don't do that again. For your own sake.
The blonde girl finally let go and started wiping away her tears.
Emma: You're right. I gotta get a grip.
Emma(confessional): Chase was my first and only boyfriend. Before I met him, I spent all of my time reading books, training sports and trying to be as perfect as one can be. Him being so… Free was what made me so attracted to him. I think the worst thing about all of this is that my parents will finally feel vindicated that they were right and I was wrong.

Back at the courtroom, the remaining contestants all took their place.
Chef: The trial is back in session. The Directors' prosecutor may-
MK: Hold it! Since Wayne and Millie were allowed to call their witness on our turn, it's only fair we do the same, right?
Chef: …I will allow it.
Axel sent spiteful looks to the girls and to Chef, but said nothing.
Nichelle: The defense is calling Julia to the stand!
Julia sighed, annoyed at the inconvenience as she put back her phone and walked over to the stand.
Julia: Alright, buttknuckles, just get with it.
Nichelle: Julia, you were chosen as the least liked person among us, beating even Chase, Ripper and MK. - Her assistant glared at the actress, but she didn't care - Tell us, how do you feel about it? Do you have any hard feelings towards your teammates?
Julia: I couldn't care less.
Immediately she was electrocuted.
Julia: Okay! Me being less liked than Ripper?! What the heck is wrong with you guys?! Half of you got eliminated before I showed my true colors and even then, I never really did anything that bad to the hockey players, Zee and Chase!
Nichelle: Alright, so you care a little bit about that, but how do you feel about your teammates? You hate all of them, right?
Julia: Duuuh.
Right after she said that, the blonde girl got shocked once again, leaving other contestants shocked. MK and Nichelle exchanged worried looks.
Nichelle: Um… That's enough…
Axel: Hold it! I have a question! Julia, could you explain in more details how you feel about every single one of your teammates?
Julia: Fine! Zee is dumb, but harmless. Wayne is stupid, but in a cute, puppy way, Millie and Damien are complete nerds, but they don't annoy me too much. Scary Girl is fine as long as she keeps at least 2 feets of distance between us and you're very bossy, but I respect you as a player. Happy?
The girl looked annoyed at Axel who just smirked.
Axel: I am.
Chef: If there's no more questions, Julia, you're-
MK: I have one! Julia… Where were you on January 6th?
Almost everyone starts laughing except for Julia, who just looks furious at MK.
Julia: I'm going to kill that little-
Chef: Order! Order! Julia, go sit. And don't harm MK. Scary Girl, Damien we will do both of you together, then Priya and then we're going to do the ending speeches.
As Julia is walking past MK and Nichelle who are laughing, she sends them a "you're dead" sign. She walks past Damien and Lauren who both take their place at the stand.
Bowie: Damien, last season Scary Girl was chasing you with a jackhammer, don't you resent her for that?
Damien: Well… We talked about it during the last challenge.
Bowie: And you don't resent her for that anymore? Not at all?
Wayne: Objection! Damien already stated that he and Scary Girl discussed the problem and are over it. No need to ask him again about that.
Chef nodded, causing Damien to smile.
Damien(confessional): Despite the looks of it, this challenge requires some strategy! For me, it's only telling half truth. Yes, me and Scary Girl talked about the jackhammer incident, doesn't mean I'm over it!
Bowie: Scary Girl, you have a weird obsession with Damien. Are you aware that he is in a relationship with Priya?
Lauren: This is only a problem if Priya is alive and that can change any second.
Damien: What.
Priya started looking uncomfortable and moved closer to the entrance to the cafeteria.
Lauren: I mean, who's to say, that a horrible accident, like, an accidental stab into her heart won't happen to her?
Priya: Umm, I'm starting to feel very threatened, can someon-
As Priya was speaking, Scary Girl jumped from the stand and landed right in front of her, causing the girl to scream in terror and run right out of the court.
Damien: Priya!
Lauren laughed as Damien started to run after Priya, but before he could run off the court, Julia caught him.
Damien: Let me go!
Julia: Na-ah. You're not going anywhere until this trial ends, you understand me?
Lauren(confessional): It may not seem like it, but I didn't actually want to harm Priya! I just wanted to scare her into leaving the court, so she wouldn't have a chance to testify. She's apparently the most liked person in the cast, so if she gave great answers to her questions, she could really turn this trial around!
Priya(confessional): I changed my mind. I hope Damien convinces others to vote off this psycho as soon as possible!
Wayne: … We just wanted to add that Scary Girl wants to murder a member of the opposite team. Not ours.

Everyone who didn't leave was sitting where they should. The witness bench was now only occupied by the members of Angry Directors and Raj who looked defeated. Similar expression was on Nichelle's face.
Nichelle: It's so over for us!
Mk: Do you trust me?
Nichelle: … No… But if you know how to turn this around, then please do!
Nichelle(confessional): Chase may be an easy boot today, but what if we lose another challenge? Or worse, if he has the hidden immunity idol? My beautiful bum could be on the chopping block in that scenario and I just can't let that happen!
Chef: Alright, so for your final statements, I will ask Nichelle-
MK: Actually, I want to give the final statement, if it's not a problem… Your honor.
Chef: Mhmmm, you're an assistant not an attorney… But, eh, whatever. MK, you will give a statement defending your team, Axel, you will give one accusing the other team. The prosecution goes first.
Axel smirks and just points at the bench.
Axel: This. This right here your honor is enough to show which team is more united. Thank you.
Axel(confessional): The Screenwriters have to defend themselves, while I was supposed to give accusations why we deserve to win. It's pretty obvious which team did better in this challenge just based on this.
Chef: Cocky. - Chef grumbled to himself and turned his attention towards MK - Now for the attorney's final statement.
MK: Thank you, your honor. - MK walked to the center of the cafeteria - This challenge showed many things that would make it easy to assume that our team is dysfunctional. Secrets, failed relationships, most of our witnesses not even making it to the stand. All of them are valid criticisms of our teamwork in this challenge. However! - She looked around the court, seeing that literally all eyes were on her. When she looked at Nichelle, the blonde girl was giving her thumbs up - …All of those things are minor problems that only apply to this challenge or are easy to get rid of. Yes, Emma and Chase have a major conflict between each other, but it's nothing that one trip to the ceremony won't fix. Other than those 2? Raj and Bowie have a fantastic, healthy relationship…

The survivalist rolls her eyes at the accusation.
MK: …Zee is slow and doesn't really understand what's going on…
Zee: Hey! …Actually no, you're right.
MK: …Julia may not hate her teammates, but that doesn't mean that she respects them, Scary Girl constantly harasses Damien and endangers others, but her team still preferred to eliminate Ripper over her!
Julia has an annoyed expression, while next to her Scary Girl, tries to get closer to Damien, who's constantly pushing himself away from her.
MK: …And while I can't say anything too bad about Millie and Wayne, they only have 2 normal teammates, while we only have 2 dysfunctional ones! To get rid of our problems we need 1 ceremony. They need at least 4. Thank you.
MK bowed and got standing ovations from her teammates. When she joined Nichelle at their table, the actress immediately hugged her, causing a slight discomfort to the shorter girl.
Nichelle: GIRL! You were amazing there!
MK: Yeah, yeah…
MK(confessional): When you have to go to court, every now and then, you pick up some things about how to articulate yourself as well as possible.

Chris: Congratulations guys! - Before Chef can announce the results, Chris quickly stands in the middle of the court - You guys are the winners of today's challenge and are safe from the elimination thanks to MK's amazing closing statement in comparison to Axel who was… Let's be honest, terrible. Angry Directors, we will be seeing each other at the ceremony.
Raj, Bowie ran to MK to hug her and Nichelle immediately joined them in the embrace. MK just sighed and went along with it. Meanwhile the Directors were all looking sad or annoyed except for Axel, who was fuming, her eyes focused on the other team celebrating.
Axel(confessional): This is so unfair! We were doing so well this entire challenge and only lost, because MK pointed out at Zee and called him stupid, then at Julia and called her mean? UGH! I can't go home this early for the 2nd time in a row!

Damien was walking down some path, when suddenly bushes next to him started to shake. Before he could do anything, he was grabbed by Axel who was hiding there with Millie.
Damien: You know, you don't need to hide in bushes to talk with us? Also where is Wayne?
Axel: He's taking a shower. - She said completely ignoring his first question - But, let's get into the important stuff, cause since you guys fumbled the challenge again, we need to discuss which one we will vote off this time.
Damien: What do you mean "you guys"?!
Axel: Oh, sorry about that. I meant "you guys" as in "witnesses". Me, Millie and Wayne did great in the challenge today and we would have won if not for the fact that none of you could provide a decent answer to any of the questions.
Damien just looked angry and confused at the same time.
Damien: You're joking, right?! Nobody lost this challenge for us, MK won the challenge for them! That's a big difference! And you know what? If someone did lose it, it was you.
Axel: Me?! How?
Damien: What was that closing statement! If you gave even a mediocre one, just pointing at the mess that is Chase and Emma, we might have won it! MK is completely right about you - You're bossy and listen to no one that's not you.
Axel got right into Damien's face, causing the boy to get scared.
Axel: If that's what you think about me, then fine. This alliance is done for!
With an angry look, Axel walked away from her former allies. Millie looked at Damien angry.
Damien: What? You don't agree with me?
Millie: I do, but maybe you shouldn't tell her all of that?
Damien: Oh. Yeah, you're probably right… Okay, I have a plan! - Millie sighed and clenched her head - No, it's a good one! You go talk with Zee and Wayne to tell them that we're voting for Axel.

Damien just looked uncomfortably to the side.

Coincidentally, at the other side of the cabin, Julia and Axel were talking to each other.
Julia: Alright, I won't vote for you, but I have two conditions.
Axel sighed, but nodded agreeing.
Julia: Great! First of all, you will pay me back for that. Second of all…
She whispered something to Axel, who just made a surprised face.
Axel: I didn't expect that, but… Fine. However we still need at least two more votes.
Julia: Oh, don't worry about that. I will deal with it.

Zee, who was already dressed for the elimination ceremony, was hanging out at the cafeteria, which was still looking like a court. Suddenly he got approached by Millie.

Millie smiled and walked over, but as she left, Julia walked in from the other side, completely missing the other girl.
Julia: Hey Zee, will you-
As she was speaking, the loud high-pitched noise was heard again.
Chris: Angry Directors, I'm waiting for you at the theater!
Julia: …Alright, will you-
Zee: Oh, I heard you! Sure, I will do it.
Julia: Great!
Julia walked away while Zee took a sip from his soda.
Zee(confessional): Last time, I was the swing vote and let myself get eliminated for announcing my plan of making the big alliance, but I learned from it. I know exactly what to do. They won't vote me out, if I'm going to vote with my eyes closed! No grudges will be held against me! That's my strategy for this season.

At the elimination ceremony, everyone already voted and were now awaiting the results. Chirs was reading the votes with a smile on his face.
Chris: Wow, interesting! You know what, how about we read the votes today? Maybe Julia will get a little bit of deja vu?
The blonde girl showed the host one of her fingers, which had to be censored.
Chris: I like you too, Julia! Anyway, the first vote is…Axel! Second vote is for…

Axel stood up and looked angry at Julia, who rolled her eyes.
Axel: I knew, I should have never trusted you!

The girl looked around confused.

MILLIE! - As he announces that, the other 6 got their golden Chris. Both Damien and Millie could not believe it. - Millie, you will be the 2nd contestant to walk the Red Carpet of Shame!
Millie: I- I- …Wow. I don't understand this decision, but… Good luck guys.
Defeated Millie walks away. She stops right before the Red Carpet of Shame and after a moment of getting ready, she quickly runs through it, barely avoiding the tomatoes thrown at her. She's watched by the rest of her former team members including dumbfounded Damien.
Damien: The heck just happened?!
Zee: Sorry dude! I voted with my eyes closed and it seems that I accidentally voted for her.
Damien facepalms, not noticing Wayne looking away with a slight frown on his face.
Wayne(confessional): Right as I finished taking the shower, Julia approached me and told me to vote for Millie, because the trio of her, Damien and Priya would be a danger if they made the merge. I felt bad, cause I like Millie and we worked great together, but Julia is right. I'm sorry Millie.

Wayne's confessional was watched by Chris in the camera room.
Chris: Seems like Julia may no longer be on the bottom of her team, what an interesting turnabout! She might even be safe if the Directors lose again, which can't be said about Chase. I wonder if and how he could manage to get out of the trouble that he put himself in. If you're also wondering that then tune into the next episode of Total… Drama… ACTION!

This episode was so fun to write. I knew I had to break up Emma and Chase as soon as possible and this challenge was perfect for this. It may be strange to have Raj be the one to reveal that Chase only acted "selflessly" for pizza and originally it was supposed to be Caleb, but I just felt like Raj would make more sense, cause Caleb and Bowie would immediately tell Emma, since she is/was friends with them. Also, originally Millie and Wayne were supposed to have a bigger role this episode (it was even named Wayne:Ace Attorney at first), but it just wasn't in the cards, which is sad, cause Millie went home here. I really like Millie, I enjoyed writing her, but her arc finished in the 1st season and there wasn't much that I could do with her, while also keeping her as an early boot. I considered giving her an arc of writing a book about how great her generation is, but that would feel a bit redundant. Lastly, if someone didn't get it, the challenge and the episode title are a reference to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and yes, it's a game, BUT, there's also an anime! It still fits the theme! I will say right now, that I'm planning on at least one more challenge being based on an anime. Lastly, I wanna thank user "Wakstrom" for their review, reading it made me very happy and inspired me to write 15 pages of episode 3 in 1 day!
