Chapter 43

At the Meadow

It's quiet. It's empty. Nothing but grass and trees rustling in the wind. Clear blue sky with the bright sun shining. The Calamity Witch, Aurora, sits on the side of a hill, looking up at the sky while the light wind blows. She managed to travel to the real world to stay for a while and feel the human life once again. She raises one hand up, palm up to catch one cherry blossom petal. She lowers her arm and smiles sweetly, letting the petal go. Ever since she was saved by Shadow Garden and the Goddess of War, Beatrix, she's been able to use her power to travel back and forth indefinitely. It makes her so happy to visit the human world as much as she wants to now. She lets out a happy sigh as the wind blows again, making her extremely long hair sway.

When she turns her head, her visible eye widens at the sight of a familiar person walking toward her. A platinum haired elf approaches her, her long black cloak swaying from the wind blowing. Aurora brightens and pats the spot next to her to signal Beatrix to sit next to her. Beatrix nods and sits down and sets the large bag of burgers down next to her. She takes out one wrapped burger and offers it to her. Aurora nods happily and accepts it. The two eat silently, looking up at the sky with a few clouds floating over them. No words can be said about this beautiful day. All the two young women can do is just relish in this relaxation.

Aurora finishes her burger first and folds the wrapping in fours. She then takes a look at the wrapping, which is colored blue. This color reminds her of Beatrix and her glowing katana. She looks at the Goddess of War, blushing at the beauty of this elf. Beatrix takes a bite of her burger and turns to her right to see the violet haired woman looking at her. Aurora blushes furiously and turns her head away, facing the ground. Beatrix blushes as well. Just how in the world can a woman like Aurora be THIS beautiful? It's really upsetting, to be honest. Beatrix is very glad to love a very powerful woman like Aurora.

"H-hey…Beatrix?" Aurora says, breaking the silence.

"Y-yes?" the platinum haired elf says, jumping from the sudden, but beautiful voice of Aurora's.

"You know…I've been thinking lately," the Calamity Witch says, tapping her index fingers together. "You and I have been together for a while, ever since we first met and took a tour around the Red Light District."

"You're right," Beatrix says as she finishes her burger.

"I wanted to tell you…" Aurora turns around, crawls toward the Goddess of War and takes her gloved hands in her own. "Please…let's make some memories together!"

"Wh-wha?" Beatrix's eyes widen in surprise.

"I don't remember much, but it would be nice to make some new memories together…you know…just the two of us," Aurora says, slightly turning away, blushing. "I want to know more about the human world…and learn more about…dating…right?"

Beatrix smiles and strokes her lover's very long hair. "Of course, Aurora. I would be happy to help you create new memories. Just tell me where to go and I will gladly take you there."

Aurora smiles and hugs the Goddess of War. "Thank you very much, Beatrix! It warms my heart to hear my lover be willing to help me with difficult stuff about the human world~"

Beatrix giggles. The two women stay silent as they stand up to look up at the sky once more. The light wind blows, making their lovely hair sway. They turn to look at each other, take each other's hands and intertwining them. They gaze into each other's beautiful eyes. Beatrix's heart beats rapidly just from looking at Aurora close like this.

"Aurora…" Beatrix whispers. "You are….so beautiful today…"

"You are so sweet, Beatrix~" Aurora replies. "I think you are beautiful yourself~"

"Th-thanks," Beatrix says.

They gaze into each other's eyes for a bit longer before they lean in closer. They press their lips together, sharing a passionate, loving kiss. Light wind blows again, making their hair sway and sakura petals scattering around them. Aurora loves this feeling that she deepens the kiss, wrapping her arms around Beatrix's neck and even bending her lovely thick leg in the process. Beatrix tilts her head to get a better angle and wraps her arms around Aurora's slender waist to pull her closer. They pull away for a bit to catch their breath before diving in for more. They kiss and kiss, with soft moans coming from both of them before pulling away, desperate for air. They pant as they gaze into each other's eyes once again. Beatrix could've sworn that she can literally feel her heart beating out of her chest.

"A-Aurora…" the Goddess of War stutters.

"Yes~?" Aurora smiles sweetly, making Beatrix blush even more.

"Uhhh…I, ummm…" Honestly, Beatrix doesn't know what to say at this point. This moment they had was just too beautiful she was at a loss for words.

However, Aurora just gives her a kiss on the cheek and pulls away. "It's okay. I'm sure I will keep this memory for a very long time~"

Beatrix only nods. Now that Aurora can travel back and forth as much as she wants without wasting her power, both of them can make so many memories together.
