This is a request from mary.okeeffe.16, so thank you! The Teen Titans meet a new team of villains, a boy band calling themselves the Alley Men. When the Titans are invited to one of their concerts, Robin and Starfire agree to check it out. However, Raven is skeptical, and for good reason, but you'll have to read to find out. Also, all chapter titles are Backstreet Boys song titles.

4. Chapter 4: Try

The concert had just wrapped up, and Robin and Starfire were backstage, receiving an assignment.

"Now," Blaze said, ensuring the door backstage was closed. "I have a special mission for you two. We can only mind control so many people at one concert, after all."

"What do you want from us, Your Honor?" Robin asked, squeezing Starfire's hand as if she'd try to run.

"Oh, yes, do tell us!" Star insisted.

"There's a large ruby that's been in the news a lot lately. Rumors say that whoever uses it can gain control of the world," Flint explained.

"But… There's just one little problem," Hector continued. "That ruby is being kept in Titans Tower, isn't it?"

"It's in Raven's room," Robin commented. "She's keeping it in the walls or something. We'll find it for you."

"Excellent," the band said in unison. "All we need is for you to try."

"We will not just try. We will succeed in our mission or die trying," Starfire growled.
