Chapter 4: New Surroundings
About a month later, Trixie was fully enrolled in Winkena International Academy. She'd gotten a dorm room, Violet and Tony had all her school records transferred, and her bags were packed. Violet had bought her daughter a new comforter set for her new room.
When the day came for Trixie to move into the school, her family and extended family drove there.
At the school, there were many people there with their kids. Some parents were carrying boxes and bags with their kids following them, others were saying goodbye, and some parents and kids were tearing up.
After getting hew school uniform, and schedule from the office, the family went into the girls' dorm, and found Trixie's room.
"Here we are, room 36." said Tony.
He opened the door, and revealed a nice little room. It had a bed, a closet, chest of drawers, a medium sized window, a desk, and chair.
"They were getting pretty slim, but we managed to get you a single room." Violet told her.
"It's pretty nice." replied Trixie.
"I bet you can decorate any way you want." added Helen.
That sounded nice to Trixie, she could make it like her room back home. After helping her settle in, it was time to say goodbye.
"You be sure to be respectful of your teachers and ask Lucius and Honey if you need anything." Violet told her.
"I will, Mom."
"And be sure to be safe and have a nice time." added Tony.
"Yes, Dad."
Then they hugged her, and it was the Parrs' turn to say goodbye.
"Bye, Grandma, bye Grandpa." Trixie told, as she hugged them.
"Bye, sweetie." said Helen.
"You study hard, you hear?" Bob told.
Then she said goodbye to her uncles.
"You have fun you hear?" Dash said.
"And good luck." Jack replied.
"Thanks, you guys."
They all left, leaving Trixie with Honey and Lucius.
"You okay, Trixie?" Honey asked.
"I'm fine." she replied.
"Why don't you go back to your room, and relax?" Lucius suggested.
Trixie smiled, and went back to her room.
In her dorm, Trixie unpacked her things. When it came to put her clothes away she used her telekinetic powers. She opened the drawers, and the clothes flew into them. Things were going fine, until she lost her concentration, and the clothes fell onto the floor.
"(Groans), not again."
After using her hands to finish the work, she decided to check out the girls' lounge area.
"Maybe it's time to meet the other kids." she thought.
She left her dorm room, locked it, and went down the hall.
In the room, many of the other girls were lounging around, talking, and having fun. As Trixie walked around, she suddenly stepped on something. On the floor was a wide plastic purple bracelet. She picked it up, and heard a voice.
"Excuse me?" Trixie turned around and saw a girl her age.
She had slightly tanned skin, red hair in two pigtails, and brown eyes. She was wearing a pink t-shirt with a black tank top underneath, a purple skirt, and pink sandals. She also had on a pink hair bow, pink hoop earrings, and on one arm was a purple bracelet.
"That's mine."
Trixie handed the bracelet back to the girl, and the girl smiled.
"Thanks, I was looking for it."
"No problem. My name's Trixie."
"I'm Wednesday. Nice to meet you."
Wednesday took Trixie's hand and shook it.
"Nice to meet you, Wednesday."
Just then, another girl came up to them. She was the same age as them, with the same skin tone as Wednesday. But she had short black hair, but the same brown eyes. She wore a black long sleeved shirt with a gray t-shirt over it, a gray skirt, and black boots.
She also wore a purple belt, skull earrings, and a black spiked bracelet.
"Did you find your bracelet?" she asked Wednesday.
"Yep, and this is Trixie. Trixie this is my twin sister Tuesday."
"Hey, what's up?" Tuesday greeted.
"So you're Tuesday and Wednesday?" Trixie wanted to know.
"Yeah, we were born when Tuesday was almost over and Wednesday was about to begin." Tuesday explained.
The three talked more, and began becoming friends.
"So what are your powers?" Trixie wondered.
"I have lasers." replied Tuesday.
She pointed her finger, and a laser beam came out.
"Cool, what about you, Wednesday?"
"I have sonic sound. But I have to show you outside, my parents told me not to use it inside."
"So what about you, Trixie? What are your powers?" asked Tuesday.
"I have telekinesis." she answered.
"Really, you can move things with your mind?" Wednesday replied.
"Can you show us?" Tuesday requested.
Trixie was a little nervous, but managed to pull herself together. She focused on a soda can in a trash can, and managed to levitate it towards her.
"See?"
"Cool powers."
Just then, a woman got everyone's attention, when she appeared in a flame. She was tall, had tan skin, brown eyes, and black hair that was in a ponytail. And she was wearing a teal shirt, gray pants, and black shoes.
"Attention girls, I'm Ms. Jones, your dormitory supervisor. If any of you need anything or have any issue just tell me. Now it's time for dinner, so everyone to the dining hall. When you get back we'll go over the dorm rules."
And with that, the girls left the dormitory.
In the dining hall, Trixie got her food. They were serving, baked chicken, mashed potatoes and peas.
"Here you go, Trixie." said Honey, as she served her food.
"Thanks, Aunt Honey." Trixie replied.
And then she got out of line and looked for a place to sit. As she looked around, and heard someone call her name.
"Trixie, over here." She looked to her right, and saw Wednesday and Tuesday waving to her. So that's where she had her dinner.
"So are you guys excited to be here?"
"You bet." Wednesday answered.
"It feels nice to be around other Supers." replied Tuesday.
"I'm excited to be here too. I can wait to see what everyone else can do." Trixie told.
They continued to talk, and when dinner was over they went back to the dorm, and hung out until it was light's out.
After showering and brushing her teeth, Trixie said goodnight to Tuesday and Wednesday and went to her room. She changed into her pajamas, got into bed and turned off the light. Tomorrow would be her first day of classes.
