Hey! I'm back. Sorry for the delay. So we're nearing the end of the story now and I've gone back onto a world I'm very familiar with...
See chapter one for the disclaimer and let's crack on.
Ranger Smith guided a woozy Yogi + Boo-Boo over to where the mystery gang were standing.
"Any luck?" Velma asked, before doing a double take. "What happened to those two?"
"Gregory." Ranger Smith said, darkly. "He anvilled them."
Fred perked up. "So he's here? Lemme at it! I'll get him good and proper!"
Daphne placed a hand on his arm. "Slow down, Scrappy. He's probably miles away by now, am I right?" She asked Smith.
He pulled a sympathetic face and nodded.
"Whoa, did you get the name of that bus, Boo-Boo?" Yogi said, coming out of his daze.
"No, but I'd sure like to." Boo-Boo said, rubbing his eyes.
Daphne melted at the sight and reached into her bag. "You poor dears." She cooed, getting out a make-up bag. "Here, lemme fix you up."
"Any idea where he's taken Shaggy now?" Velma asked, impatiently, while Daphne fixed Yogi and Boo-Boo's black eyes.
Smith shook his head. "He just said 'S-s-see you later, folks."
"Rooney-Runes!" Scooby exclaimed, triumphantly.
"Well gang, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

[Meanwhile in Looney Tunes World at that exact time...]
"Duck season"" Bugs said, grinning.
"Oh no, misther, I know your game." Daffy hissed. "Isth Rabbit season."
"Duck season!"
"Rabbit season!"
"Duck season!"
"Rabbit season!"
"Duck-"
"Invasion season?"
"Invasion season!" Bugs said, before doing a double take and looking at Elmer, the one who had said it first. "Eh...de heck, doc? Dats a bit dark, izzin it?"
In response Elmer just pointed up at the sky. The other two toons looked up to see a pink portal opening above them, with a figure coming closer and closer towards them.
Realising where it was heading, Daffy side-stepped just at the last moment, causing a Shaggy-shaped hole in the ground. "Hah!" He said, smugly. "Missthed me!" At which point, with perfect timing, Gregory landed on top of Daffy, smacking him into a pancake. As Gregory got his breath back, Daffy's beak appeared from under him. "Ah, irony. We meet again."
Gregory got up and dusted himself off. Bugs shared confused look with Elmer before stepping forward and slinging an arm round the taller toons waist. "Eh...What's up Dawg?"
Gregory huffed and batted the rabbit away. "My name is Gregory and I am a director at Warner Brothers."
Bugs nodded. "Roight. An' Oi'm Bugs Bunny and Oi'm da face of Warner Brothers. Now, whaddya doin' here dirtyin' our forest? We hav' enough problems wiv litterbugs as it is."
The taller toon scowled. "I need somewhere to hide him." He said, nodding at Shaggy
Bugs looked down and nodded again. "Odd game of hide an' seek, izzin it?"
Gregory paused and looked at the rabbit like he'd lost his mind. "What?"
"Yeah." Elmer said, finally speaking. "Don't you need to be conscious for hide and seek?"
Gregory took a deep breath. "Look, it doesn't matter why he's unconscious, the point is I need somewhere to hide him."
"Oh, why didn't you say?" Bugs said, in mock surprise. "We've got places for you to hide. Daffy?"
Getting his fellow toons meaning immediately, Daffy ran off-screen and grabbed a clothing rail. "Fisrth up you need a disguith." He said. "How about thisth?" He pulled the curtain across and back again fluently, revealing Gregory to be dressed in a nurses outfit.
"If ya like we could drop ya off at de hospital?" Bugs asked, sweetly.
Gregory looked like he was going to hit him, but Daffy quickly pulled the curtain across again before he could react. "Ok, so not a nursth. Firefighter?"
Seeing the red-faced Gregory, Elmer scrunched his nose up. "Whewe's his hose meant to be?"
Daffy opened his beak, but Bugs leapt across and clamped it shut. "Eh...best not to go dere, Duck. What's the next one?"
"There is no next one!" The three toons turned only to see that Gregory had knocked the rail aside and now had smoke coming off his head. "Now." He said, voice going low and dangerous. "Listen to me, you idiots. The mystery gang is coming after me and I need somewhere to hide. Now, I'm going to take Shaggy and one of you guys as hostage, and if the mystery gang don't allow me to make my new series then I'll kill them both, understand!?"
Elmer was going to say that it wasn't possible to kill a toon, but Bugs - sensing his thoughts - sharply stood on his foot. "No problem, Doc." He said smoothly. "Jus' let us decide who's going."
Before Gregory could object the three boys had linked arms and formed a huddle. "So..." Bugs asked, batting his eyelashes. "Who wants to be a hostage?"
"Not me!" Elmer said, immediately. "I was the hostage last stowy!*"
Bugs rolled his eyes. "Way to give away a plot point! Anyway...Daffy?"
The duck gasped. "Me!? How could you ever think of putting me in that posthition-!"
"It'd mean you'd be in a least the next chapter, if not two." Bugs said.
Daffy's eyes lit up and he broke the huddle, running over to jump in Gregory's arm. "Ok, lesth go, busther! I know a good place we can go, and alstho if you're going to take me hostage you should know I only eat the finest meals and I like to bath in gold coins, and-" Daffy's voice cut off abruptly as he clicked his fingers and took himself, Gregory and Shaggy away somewhere. In the background Bugs and Elmer fist-bumped.
"So, how wong do you think it'ww take fow the mystewy gang to get hewe?" Elmer asked.
Bugs smiled and looked at a watch that had suddenly appeared on his wrist. "Oh, I'd say round about..." Just then a portal opened above them and the rabbit looked up. "...now!"
