Hey Guys, Crescent Rider here and I am back with another chapter of the One Piece Story.
But before that, there are some things that I would like to talk about first.
Before I work on the next chapter, I will be revising the previous chapters in an attempt to make them better.
Second, I want to talk about the other One Piece Story that involves my OC, Albert D. Mercer. I haven't abandoned that story, I'm just having trouble thinking things out. It may sound like an excuse but think what you will. I will return to that story in the future.
And lastly, is the most important thing of them all...
Nadia will not be paired with someone. I understand that some stories pair their OC with a canon character. But I will not be doing that since it doesn't fit with what I have planned for this story.
That is all I have to say and enjoy the chapter!
Mt. Corvo
After few years have passed since the day of their declaration. Ace had left the island at the age of 17 and vowed to become the great pirate he wanted to be. Even though Dadan doesn't want to admit it, she will miss Ace at the very bottom of her heart.
Then came the present...
Luffy was now 17 years old wearing a red sleeveless vest, and blue shorts while Nadia wore a tomboyish outfit that consisted of a short-sleeved white shirt, knee-lengthed shorts, and a pair of slippers. As for her accessories, she wore a bracelet with red beads on her right wrist and a necklace with small white beads.
But what's different about them is that Luffy is much taller than Nadia as her height only reaches his neck.
"Heya, guys! We're leaving now! Aren't you going to go to the village to see me off? Hey!" Luffy announced,
Dadan sat down on the floor with her back turned while the rest of the bandits just stared at them with smiles on their faces.
"Use your head for once. The Mayor and Makino wouldn't mind us stopping by, as for everyone else in Foosha Village. We'd probably scare the pants right off them," Dadan said,
"I don't know," Luffy whined,
"Ugh, Don't make it awkward. Just go already," Dadan said,
"By the way, Dadan. I've finished the last of my chores for you," Nadia said,
"Sure, whatever," Dadan said,
"Okay, well goodbye you guys!" Luffy said, "Thanks for everything, I'm sure going to miss you,"
"That's double for me," Nadia followed,
"Aw now don't say that, you're gonna make us blush," The Bandits said simultaneously, which caused Nadia to giggle,
"Well, bye. Take it easy," Magra said,
"We will!" Luffy said, "You guys too! 'Kay"
"Aren't you forgetting something Luffy?" Nadia inquired,
"Huh? Oh right! Hey, Dadan. I still think mountain bandits are super lame!" Luffy admitted,
"Shut up and leave, dammit!" Dadan yelled,
But Luffy raised his hand and gave a cheery grin at her, "But you guys! You're great!"
With that, Dadan gasped, pulled out a handkerchief, and started bawling tears, "It's not enough to ruin my life. Now you're gonna break my heart too, you're awful I tell you! All of you are good for nothing!"
"Sorry I made you cry," Luffy apologized while Nadia just smiled,
"Shut up, or I'll make you cry!" Dadan yelled,
With that, Luffy and Nadia left Mt. Corvo and made their way down to Foosha Village...
Foosha Village
As they through town, the people of the village gathered together and started giving their goodbyes to them. But some were concerned as the two boarded the small boat.
"No offense, but why don't you take my old fishing boat instead?" A Fisherman offered, "That thing is gonna sink as soon as you get out to sea,"
"That's too small even for you two," Another Fisherman said,
"But I wanna start small! But I'll get a really big one soon, don't worry!" Luffy assured, then sheepishly laughed,
"And what about you, Nadia? Are you sure you want to join him and become a pirate?" Woop Slap questioned, "What would Garp say when he finds out about this,"
"He specifically said that I watch over my little brother, Mr. Mayor. If Luffy had decided to become a Marine, then I would have joined him on it," Nadia said,
Woop Slap grunts in disapproval, but had no choice but to accept her decision. Still, he grows more concerned over her than Luffy.
Speaking of Luffy, he turns up to the sky, raises his arms up, and yelled out, "Sabo! Here we go! Watch out for us out there, okay!"
Nadia smiled at his words, and stares at the sky as well, "Watch over us, Sabo,"
With that, Luffy tipped his hat as he remarked on them being the last ones to leave the island as well as boasted about his special moves. After that, the two departed from the port while everyone in the village waved goodbye.
The two paddled the boat farther from the sea, then they noticed a shadow looming over them. When they turned around, it was none other than the Lord of the Coast. The sea monster that lurks in the depths of Foosha Village.
Nadia knew this Sea King from Luffy's story, but she showed no fear especially when Luffy stop up and tipped his straw hat forward. Luffy greeted this Sea King like some old acquaintance and swore that it won't play out last time.
"Now, Gum-Gum!" Luffy pulls his fist back, and it stretches further back,
The Lord of the Coast shrieks and then tries to bite down on Luffy and Nadia. But the former pulls his fist back, and punches the Sea King right across its head, "PISTOL!"
Nadia held onto the boat as it rocked on the waters. As for the Lord of the Coast, it was done for the count and falls into the waters with a splash.
After Luffy's fist pulls itself back, he grins at the Lord of the Coast, "I've been waiting a long time to do that,"
With the Lord of the Coast knocked out, Luffy and Nadia set sail to the vast sea while the latter listened to the words of his brother. His goal was to find ten more people in his crew, form a Jolly Roger, and become the King of the Pirates.
Meanwhile...
After Dadan and her bandits saw Luffy and Nadia's departure, they returned to their den on Mt. Corvo.
But upon their arrival, they were all met with a pack of large wolves sitting obediently and their tails casually wagging around the place.
At first, they were all frightened, but when the pack leader approached them. It had something tied around its neck.
Dogra carefully retrieves it and finds a scrolled letter tied with a piece of string. He removes the string and proceeds to open the letter. He gasps at the letter, then began to cry once more...
"Hey, what the hell's on it," Dadan yelled,
"Just read it!" Dogra said, as he passes the letter and covered his eyes with his other arm,
Dadan takes the letter and reads the content with her bandits taking a peek at it. They all gasped as they somehow recognized the handwriting.
'Dadan, take care of these guys for me'
'They will treat you right as you treated me right.'
'Thank you, and I love you all!'
'Monkey D. Nadia'
Dadan started sniffing once more, then began to cry her heart out while the rest of the Dadan Family smiled at Nadia's kind personality.
"You damn brat!" Dadan yelled, not out of spite but out of sheer compassion for the young girl,
Back to Luffy and Nadia...
Dawn Island was no longer in sight, Luffy and Nadia took it upon themselves to take a break after paddling the boat for a long.
"Man, I'm hungry," Luffy remarked,
"What are you talking about, Luffy? Didn't you eat a lot before we leave the island?" Nadia inquired,
"I know, but I'm still hungry," Luffy said,
"You have a bottomless pit, don't you, Luffy," Nadia remarked, then proceeds to open the barrel, "But we have to be careful though, this barrel contains every food we could pack,"
But when she took a look inside, she finds nothing...
She was still as a statue, then slowly turned her head towards him," Luffy, did you forget to pack our supplies for this voyage? Or did you eat them all without telling me?"
Luffy squeaked in his teeth, then pretended to whistle. Or at least try to whistle since he never learned how to whistle at all...
Nadia was soon fuming from within, slowly raising her fist, and a small vein popped out from the left corner of her forehead.
*Thwack!* *Thwack!* *Thwack!*
Luffy now lies on the boat with three bumps on his head, and Nadia sat down with two fingers rubbing on each corner of her forehead, "I can't believe sometimes, could you have at least told me rather than do it behind my back?"
"I'm sorry, I promise that I won't do it again," Luffy weakly apologized,
"Sure, Like I've heard that apology before," Nadia remarked and sighed,
But then, they soon felt the boat being pulled in a certain direction and turned towards the source. They soon find themselves being pulled into a large whirlpool.
"That's not good, is it?" Luffy asked,
"Of course, it isn't it, a whirlpool that size is going to break the ship," Nadia alarmingly said, "And we can't paddle ourselves out of this current,"
The boat roughly rocked around the waters, and the two held onto the railings with dear life due to their inability to swim. Eventually, the boat was meters away from the whirlpool.
"We have to get out of this boat!" Nadia yelled,
Luffy looks around, then he sets his sights on the empty barrel, "I've got it!"
He goes to the empty barrel, lifts it, and places it on the opposite side of the boat. Nadia knew what he was thinking, and went along with it as she stood up and entered the barrel.
Luffy soon enters the barrel as well and closes the lid after he ducks inside it. What followed was a rocky ride as the barrel floats on the water.
A couple of minutes later, Luffy gets a little woozy and started sleeping despite being in a cramped space. Nadia, on the other hand, carefully listened to the waters but her movement was only limited to her head due to her brother taking most of the space.
When she heard the waters seemingly calming down, she was at ease and rests her eyes for the time being...
...
...
...
A Few Minutes Later...
Nadia hears a loud thud and snaps her eyes wide open. She moves her head from side to side, then back at Luffy, who was still sleeping rather soundly.
She then heard the water splashing near them and presumed that it was either a large fish hopping out of the water, or an object being thrown into the water.
A few moments later, she soon hears the sound of clanking metal and notices the barrel bobbing up and down. Thus, she assumed that she and Luffy have been found by a passing ship.
What comes next was a conversation between two men, and assumed that they were either pirates or sailors. The latter became the conclusion as she heard another man calling out on a pirate ship.
'Just our luck, we get caught by a whirlpool, picked up by a passing ship, and now pirates are coming to raid it?' Nadia remarked, 'Something tells me that this voyage isn't going to be a pleasant one,'
That it did as the barrel began to roll towards an unspecified direction led to the two occupants hitting each other with their bodies.
Eventually, the barrel stops rolling and Nadia's body was pressing against Luffy. She groans for a moment while Luffy was still sleeping.
Then a small set of footsteps were heard, and Nadia assumed that it was one of the pirates. She then noticed the barrel rolling again, and Luffy was soon on top of her.
She groans once more, but this time, it was out of frustration as her eyes glowed red but not her hair. When she felt the barrel being straightened up, that's when she vents her frustration and punches Luffy underneath his chin.
The resulting blow sent Luffy bursting right out of the barrel and into the ceiling. With him out, Nadia rises from the barrel, takes a few deep breaths, and jumps right out of the barrel.
There, she was greeted by two strangers, "Oh, hello,"
"WHO ARE YOU!" The two men yelled,
"My name is Nadia, Pleasure to meet you," Nadia replied, then she notices an unconscious man on the floor, "Is he alright?"
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KNOCKED HIM OUT!" The two men yelled once more,
"Geez, you didn't have to yell, you know," Nadia remarked,
Before the two could continue, Luffy falls from the ceiling and sat upstraight, "Hey! What was that for!"
"Anger got out of hand, you know how it is," Nadia explained,
"Oh, okay," Luffy understood, and stands up,
"Hey! Are you two messing with us or something!" One of the men yelled as he and his friend drew their sabers at them, "Don't you know good and well we're vicious pirates! Huh?!"
"I'm starving, you got any food?" Luffy asked the pink-haired boy on the floor, while Nadia just blissfully stared at the pirates,
"I'm talking to you!" The man yelled,
"You damn kids!" The other man yelled as they both tried to strike them down with their sabers,
The pink-haired boy shrieked while Luffy just turned around and swiftly broke their sabers. Sending it towards the ceiling...
With that, the two men fell on the floor and whimpered about having their weapons broken.
"What is wrong with you two?" Luffy questioned,
"They're pirates, Luffy. They're just doing what they naturally do," Nadia revealed,
"Oh," Luffy understood,
"W-Who are you!" The other man yelled,
"Me? Oh, My name is Monkey D. Luffy! Hi," Luffy introduced himself and cheekily grinned,
The two pirates soon panicked, grabbed their unconscious friend, and dragged him out as they screamed in utter fright.
"There they go," Nadia remarked,
"So... What just happened?" The pink-haired boy questioned,
"You got me," Luffy remarked,
Then pink-haired boy stands up from the floor, "Wait, you've got to run! If those guys come back here with their buddies, they'll kill you both on the spot!"
"I don't care about that, I'm hungry," Luffy said,
"Food's always your main concern, isn't it," Nadia remarked,
"How could you just blow this off like that?! There are hundreds of them up on deck and they're waiting for the opportunity to kill anything!" The pink-haired boy worryingly said,
But Luffy ignores this and tries to find some food. Nadia just follows him, and dismissed the pink-haired boy trying to stop Luffy.
Unfortunately, Luffy wasn't going to stop as he walk towards the door with the pink-haired boy pulling at him. As they walked towards the door, Nadia opens the door and checks the halls before leaving it open for Luffy to go through.
A few moments later, they come across another door and entered it. That's when Luffy becomes ecstatic as he found food storage.
"It's a gold mine!" Luffy happily expressed, and looks around,
Nadia goes to a crate, opens it, and pulled out an apple. She proceeds to take a bite out of it and hummed at the taste of the apple. Before letting Luffy feast on the rest, Nadia took a couple more apples and walked a few meters away from him.
"Hey, my name is Coby," The Pink-Haired introduced himself, "You're Luffy and Nadia, right? That was pretty neat what you did in that barrel back there,"
"Oh, that was an accident," Nadia corrected, "It was pretty cramped with just the two of us there,"
"These are awesome," Luffy commented as he stuffed his mouth with apples, "So, are we on a pirate ship or what?"
"No, it's a passenger ship being raided by pirates," Coby corrected, "Pirates under the command of Lady Alvida,"
"Oh, who cares anyway. What I wanna know is if there are any other boats on board?" Luffy said,
"I think there are a few," Coby presumed,
"Great! Cause our boat got sucked into some big whirlpool," Luffy revealed,
"That one outside! No way," Coby remarked, "No one could have survived that,"
"Then that makes us the first," Nadia commented and bit down on another apple,
"Yeah, and I've got to say. It was a big surprise!" Luffy remarked despite the fact that it almost killed them, "So, are you one of the pirates? Or one of the passengers?"
Nadia sets her eyes on Coby and recalled hearing a conversation before she and Luffy burst out of the barrel. Before long, Coby began to share his story in a dishearted tone.
Apparently, Coby was in the middle of preparing his things for a fishing trip in his village until he accidentally boarded the wrong rowing ship, which belonged to Alvida and her crew. This incident occurred two years ago, and he was forced to live the life of a chore boy for the Alvida Pirates.
Some part of Nadia pitied the boy's circumstance since his life was on the life. As for the other part, Luffy bluntly expressed it for her, "You're pretty stupid, you know that?"
"Luffy," Nadia called out,
"Geez, thanks for your honesty," Coby sarcastically said,
"If you don't hate it, then leave," Luffy suggested,
"Are you kidding?! I can't do that! No way! Nuh-uh! Not a chance! Just the thought about leaving makes me leaving scares me so bad I want to throw up!" Coby fearfully admitted while shaking his head,
"You're a moron and coward, Ha ha! I hate people like you!" Luffy cheekily admitted, and began to laugh while Coby looked dishearted as tears were flowing down his eyes,
Though Nadia wasn't one with this kind of attitude as she walked up to Luffy, and bonked him in the head, "That was very rude of you, Luffy,"
"Sorry," Luffy quietly apologized,
"But I'll admit, Luffy has a point," Nadia said, "If you're that scared, then you'll never leave,"
Coby lowers his head and looked uncertain, "Hey, I... If I had the courage, I could drift alone in a barrel and be rid of these pirates. I actually have my own dreams, and someday, I'd like to live to all of them,"
Nadia smiled at his honesty and takes a bite of another apple.
"So what about you two? What was it that first got you guys to set sail," Coby inquired,
"Well, I'm going to be King of the Pirates!" Luffy cheerfully revealed,
Coby was shocked as he dropped his jaw. As for Nadia, she giggles at his reaction.
"S-Seriously?" Coby questioned,
"Yep!" Luffy replied,
"A-And what about you, Nadia? What is your dream,"
Nadia slyly smiled, and holds up a finger against her lips, "I'm afraid I can't tell you, it's quite personal to me,"
Coby's jaw drops even further, and more and it would have hit the floor. There were a series of questions coming right out of his mouth, but Luffy answered them all with a casual look on his face,
After a brief period of s, Coby stands upstraight, "King of the Pirates is a title given to one who obtains everything the world has to offer! You're talking about seeking the greatest treasure of wealth, fame, and power! The treasure you seek is the One Piece!"
"Yeah!" Luffy enthusiastically replied,
"'Yeah' that's it?! Pirates from all over the world are looking for that treasure you know!" Coby exclaimed,
"Yeah, so?" Luffy questioned,
"No way! That's impossible, impossible, impossible! There's no way anyone like you could ever reach the pinnacle during this Great Pirate Age. There's just too mean to get their hands on-" Before Coby could go on any further, Luffy hits him on the head as he gets irritated by ranting, "Why'd you hit me?"
"Felt like it," Luffy remarked, and Nadia seem to agree with him,
"Oh well, I'm used to the stuff. My shipmates smack me a lot, all the time," Coby admitted,
"It's not about 'if I can't', I'm doing it because 'I want to'," Luffy said, grabbing his straw hat, and staring at it, "I've decided long ago that I'm going to be King of the Pirates. If I have to die fighting for it, then I die,"
Coby just stared at him, while Nadia smiled rather proudly to her brother's dream. But when she sets her eyes on Coby's dumbstruck face, she decided to give a bit more encouragement by saying the following, "He's got a point there,"
Coby turns to her while Luffy just puts his straw hat back into his head, "Just as he has a dream of his own, I do too. If I have to face grave risks and trials to achieve that dream, then so be it. It's better to reach greater heights than to stay low ground forever,"
Silence was the only thing that lingered in Coby's mind for some time. Though he would ponder to himself about his dreams while Luffy walks his way towards the door, "Alright, now that my belly's full. I'm gonna go and get a ship, you coming, Nadia?"
"Right behind you," Nadia replied, and takes another apple,
As they were about to leave, Coby finally spoke to them, "Guess I never thought of it... If I put my mind to it, if I'm prepared to die for it. Can I do something like that?"
"Like what?" Luffy asked as he turned to him, while Nadia just listens in,
"Do you think... Do you think I'd be able to join the Marines," Coby questioned,
"Marines?" Luffy and Nadia simultaneously remarked,
"Yes!" Coby admitted as he stood tall from the floor, "Catching bad guys is the only thing I ever wanted to do. It's been my dream since I was a child! Do you think I could do it?"
Nadia happily scoffed, "What do we know about that? It's all up to you, you know,"
"Then I'm going to do it!" Coby declared, "I'm not going to get stuck here as a cabin boy for the rest of my life! I'll break out and then turn right around and catch Alvida myself!"
Just as he finished his declaration, the ceiling began to collapse and Coby scurried away from the falling debris. As for Luffy and Nadia, they just watched until the dust settled.
"Who is that you plan on catching, Coby? And you actually think these twigs are going to help you?" A voice questioned, "Well?! Answer me!"
Coby was terrified as he was being glared down by a large woman. Thus, Nadia presumed that this woman was none other than Alvida herself, Captain of the Alvida Pirates...
Before she thinks to herself any further, blades pierce through the wall from behind and narrowly wish both of the siblings. Though they seemed relatively calm as they stared at the blades and then back at Alvida and Coby.
However, the former glanced at the two and smirked, "Hmph, My guess is that neither of you two is Zoro, the Pirate Hunter,"
"Zoro?" Luffy repeated,
"He's a notorious bounty hunter of the East Blue. Because of it, they call him Roronoa Zoro, the Pirate Hunter," Nadia explained,
"Oh, then he must be strong then," Luffy presumed,
"Coby! Who is the most beautiful of all in these seas?!" Alvida questioned,
Coby stuttered as he tries to give the obvious answer. But Luffy had to open his mouth as he pointed at her, "Hey, Coby. Whose the fat lady?"
Everyone who heard his question practically dropped their jaws as if he had said something wrong. While Nadia bites onto her lip as she didn't want to be rude, 'No... Can't laugh, Can't...'
Sadly for her, that wasn't the case as her eyes changed to pure yellow, and started laughing with her eyes closed and sides held.
As for Alvida, she wasn't too pleased with the insult and laughter. As several tick marks appeared all over her face, "YOU RUNTS!"
With her spiked club, she attempted to smash Luffy and Nadia down. But the two reacted rather quickly and jumps out of the attack. What followed is Luffy grabbing Coby and both he and Nadia jump through the hole on the ceiling and into the main deck of the passenger ship.
From there, Alvida's Pirates went on the offensive as they held swords and used them to try and cut down the two. But both have trained themselves to take on fights such as this one.
Hence, Luffy was punching, kicking, and headbutting pirates left and right while Nadia was more of a reformed fighter as she often locked her opponents in arm locks, and threw them toward her enemy. When it came to avoiding attacks, she resorts to acrobatics as she performed several flips until she stood on top of the ship's railings.
When two pirates tried to strike her down on the railings, she jumps as the sabers struck the railings, then stomp on both to get them stuck. As she assumed a squatting position, she gives the two pirates a closed-eyed smile, "Ganging together on a little girl? Quite rude of you, don't you think?"
Nadia then swiftly struck the two pirates together and jumps onto the floorboards after they fell. As she straightens herself up, she soon noticed Luffy running around with a horde of pirates chasing after him.
Instead of helping him, she just laughed at her brother as she knew he would never change. But she wasn't concerned in the slightest as she saw Luffy grabbing onto the sail, and stretching his arm like rubber.
The pirates were confused as they stared at the arm, then they were frightened when they saw Luffy's grin as he slingshot himself toward them. Knocking several men in the process.
Alvida and Coby were flabbergasted by what they saw while Nadia smiled as she crossed her arms together, "Guess that training paid off... I'm really proud of him,"
"Luffy... What are you?" Coby asked,
"Oh! I'm a rubber man!" Luffy revealed as he stretched one side of his cheek to him,
"So, you're made of rubber... I..." Coby murmured, but he soon snaps out of his shock as Alvida was standing right behind him,
"So... You've eaten one of the Devil Fruits," Alvida remarked,
"Yeah! I ate the Gum-Gum one," Luffy admitted, "And my sister ate one too, though I don't really know its name..."
Alvida glances at Nadia and sees her with her tongue out and her right eye closed.
"Ah ha, I've heard rumors they've existed. But I've never seen any evidence before today," Alvida commented, "You're more skilled than average deck swabber, are you bounty hunters?"
"We're pirates!" Luffy corrected,
"Pirates? Ha! All by yourselves in these waters?" Alvida remarked,
"Today is just me and Nadia, but we'll find our crew tomorrow, or next week. I need... I don't know, ten guys," Luffy said, "Yeah, ten!"
"Ha! Tell me if we're both pirates, and we're not on the same flag. Then that would make us enemies," Alvida remarked, "Am I right?"
As this conversation continues to drag itself out, she notices Coby speaking to Luffy rather silently. She assumed that he was going to try and convince Luffy to run due to his fears toward Alvida.
But then, he stopped himself as he recalled Luffy and Nadia's words about their dreams and the risks they'll face to achieve it.
Thus, Coby mustered the courage to loudly yell the following at Alvida, "YOU'RE THE MOST UGLIEST THING ON THE SEA!"
Alvida's crew were in utter shock as they hang their jaws down, Alvida was fuming by what he said, and Coby whimpering to himself. As for Luffy and Nadia, they began to laugh at Coby's words...
"What'd you say?!" Alvida yelled,
"I'm leaving and I'm going to join the Marines! And then I'm going spend the rest of my life beating up dirty pirates like you!" Coby declared,
"Do you have any clue what you're saying to me right now," Alvida angrily questioned,
"Of course I do! But I'm going to do what I want and no one's going to stop me!" Coby yelled, "And when I join the Marines, I'm gonna join them! And I'm gonna catch your lousy ass first!"
"YOU'RE DEAD, KID! DIE!" Alvida yelled as she raised her club to strike Coby down,
However, Luffy comes in between them, "Well said!"
And his intervention caused her to hit him on the head. But that wouldn't work due to his rubbery head...
With that, Luffy finishes up the battle by stretching his right arm back and pulling it back to hit Alvida. With that, she was sent flying and Nadia just watched until she was no longer in sight.
By that time, Luffy's arm stretches back and he turns to the remaining pirates on Alvida's ship, "Hey, you!"
"Yes?!" The pirates nervously questioned,
"Go find a boat and give it to Coby. He's leaving your ship to join the Marines," Luffy demanded, "I'm not going to stop him,"
"Yeah! Sure!" The pirates replied, still flabbergasted at their captain's defeat,
"Thanks, Luffy..." Coby thanked,
But their moment was soon interrupted when they all heard explosions around them and the ship shakes. That's when they saw three ships not far from their location.
"It's the Marines!" Coby remarked,
"Perfect timing! Head over there and tell him you wanna join," Luffy said,
"Huh?" Coby sounded,
"And we're pirates, so we're out of here," Luffy said and jumps over to a small ship,
"No way! You can't be serious?! I approach them like this, they'll just capture me like a pirate!" Coby said,
"In that case," Nadia wrapped her arm around Coby's body, and lifted him up from his feet, "You're coming with us!"
"Hey, Wait!" Coby tries to say, but Nadia jumps off the ship and joins her brother,
When the boat gets dropped onto the sea, Nadia heard a woman shrieking. She glances at the source and saw an orange-haired woman wearing what appears to be a pirate's attire.
However, the moment was brief as the Marines continued to fire their cannons, and the waters got a little rocky.
A Few Moments Later...
They somehow managed to get away. Whether it's luck, or the Marines had their priorities. They were relieved as they continued to sail forward.
"We actually managed to get away," Coby commented,
"What fun!" Luffy remarked and started laughing,
"So, Luffy. If you're searching for the elusive One Piece. Then you have to be heading for the Grand Line, right?" Coby questioned, "You know the people I talked to called that place the pirate graveyard,"
"Right, and that's why I need an extra strong crew," Luffy said, "You guys mentioned some pirate hunter. What's he like, Coby?"
"Oh, you mean Zoro? Last I heard, he's being held prisoner at some Marine Base," Coby revealed,
"Oh well, a weakling, huh?" Luffy remarked,
"No, you're so wrong! He's as violent as a demon, and three times as horrifying," Coby expressed, "Why are you asking about him anyway,"
"That answer is quite obvious, Coby," Nadia takes a bite of an apple, "Luffy plans to have him in our crew,"
"Yep!" Luffy admitted,
Coby was once again shocked, then began to express his objections against the idea. He only stops when Luffy punches him on the head once again...
'This is totally going to be a fun voyage,' Nadia thought to herself,
'Agreed...' One of her clones remarked in her head,
That is it for this chapter! And remember this well. I want to answer 'what if' questions that solely regard Nadia in the story.
