"We only have a few classes together?!"
Sapphire exclaimed, surprised,hers and Elysian's schedule were different from Allure's.
Elysian
"Allure,what year are you?"
Allure
"Ah sorry,I forgot to tell you both.I'm in 1st year.."
Sapphire
"1st year?!That means-"
Elysian
"You share the same schedule with 4th year"
Allure
"Wait what?I do?"
Allure asked surprised,she expected to have different schedules for each year but apparently 1st and 4th year share one schedule.
Elysian
"Mhm..Only 2nd and 3rd year have different schedules,you have to take shared classes with the graduating year"
Allure
"Ohh i sorry i didn't tell you my year"
Sapphire
"It's fine really,and besides we have a few classes together,so we'll still see each when it's lunch,we'll sit together okay?"
Allure
"Okay,well we better get going or else we'll be you guys later!"
Elysian and Sapphire
"See ya Allure!"
Elysian and Sapphire said as they started walking off to their class,Allure then got to her first class which was class was being taught by Lady Royal Delancy,all of the students watched as she balanced the books with perfect posture and poise.
Lady Royal Delancy
"Proper poise and perfect posture commands respect,having proper poise is important when in the royal life,and having perfect posture is good for the back that way it doesn't really hurt"
Delancy said once she made a stop,Allure did have to admit that she must've heard it somewhere else because that felt familiar but it couldn't click.
Lady Royal Delancy
"Okay now,Princesses and Lady Royals,start with one book and begin..now!"
And at that,every student in the class started balancing the book they had been holding on their head as they attempted to practice poise and were a few students in 1st and 4th year that were not doing too well,one of them started skipping while another was having trouble with their was having trouble keeping the book on her head 'Maybe i should've asked for practice with Sapphire and Elysian'
Allure
"This is gonna a longgg day.."
Allure muttered to herself as she tried balancing the book,meanwhile in the office,Alexandra was looking through some sighed once she finished it just a few minutes later,her mind then slowly drifted back to her accident,back to her daughter.
Headmistress Privet
"If only I had been quicker to do something...then it wouldn't be like this.."
She said to herself as her heart began to feel heavy with hidden sorrow,just then she heard a knock on the then quickly straightened herself.
Headmistress Privet
"You may enter"
And at that the door opened for her to see Allure,another 1st year student named Sona,and Lady Royal Delancy coming into the office.
Headmistress Privet
"Ah- what happened?"
Lady Royal Delancy
"Well we were just doing our class in poise.."
Flashback
Allure was starting to balance the book on her head while walking slowly,just then Sona came.
Sona
"I think u got something on your skirt"
Allure
"I did?-"
Just as Allure looked down to check her book then slipped off her head,and as she tried to grab it she accidentally crashed into one of the 4th year students,resulting in them crashing to the ground.
Flashback Ended
Lady Royal Delancy
"And that's what happened,thankfully i saw it all otherwise we'd probably get a false explanation.."
Headmistress Privet
"I agree on that,Delancy..Why did you do that Sona?You know better than to do something like that!"
But Sona didn't seem to care that much,instead she replied.
Sona
"She doesn't belong here,Headmistress Privet!Allure can't be a Lady Royal,she's just an orphan with no last name!"
Once Allure heard that she had some tears in her eyes,she knew she shouldn't tear up over an insult like that,but she couldn't help it.
Sona
"Besides,her mother probably abandoned her because she knew Allure wasn't worth it!"
Now that crossed the line,Allure then had FURIOUS tears in her eyes,and then a moment later she sobbed HARD,and seeing this made Alexandra angry and had enough.
Headmistress Privet
"PRINCESS SONA ALLEGRA!This is NOT what I expected from a princess like you,you know better than to call out someone's mother or parent like that!"
Sona
"But Headmistress-"
Headmistress Privet
"I will NOT tolerate this kind of behavior,especially on the FIRST day of PCS!"
And at that moment Alexandra got up and opened the door of her office,she then gestured Sona out as she said.
Headmistress Privet
"Detention,until lunch GO!"
Sona couldn't say anything,so she got mad and stormed out of the office to the Detention the office door closed Alexandra walked up to Allure and bent down to eye level,she put a hand on her shoulder as she tried to calm her down.
Headmistress Privet
"Shh..Shh..It's alright Allure,i understand it hurts..but it's alright now"
She then lifted Allure's head to meet her eyes,she then wiped her tears looked into each other's eyes feeling a familiar atmosphere,like a familiar situation but a different problem?They didn't know,they just..felt it.
Lady Royal Delancy
"Miss Privet,do you think Allure should be sent back to classes?"
Alexandra and Allure snapped back to reality once they heard Delancy ask.
Headmistress Privet
"Well I guess she can skip her next class,just this once,if that's what you want?"
She asked Allure,she didn't really need to think about her answer.
Allure
"Yes please Miss Privet..i don't feel like going to the next class anyway.."
Lady Royal Delancy
"Alright then i'll let Miss Nova know..feel better Allure"
Allure just nodded slightly at her before Delancy walked out the office,Alexandra then went back to sit at her desk.
Headmistress Privet
"Allure…How come you don't have a last name?If I may ask.."
Allure sitting in the chair in front of Alexandra's desk lifted her head a bit to look at her,she hesitated before she responded.
Allure
"I'd rather n-not tell you..at least not yet.."
The Headmistress just nodded at that understanding that it may be too personal to share,she then said.
Headmistress Privet
"You can stay here in my office until your next class starts"
Allure
"Uh- t-thank you..for earlier Miss Privet"
Headmistress Privet
"You're welcome Allure,I'm sorry about Princess Sona,I never expected her attitude to be like that..I just hope you're alright"
Allure
"Don't worry Miss Privet,I'm al-alright now.."
Headmistress Privet
"Good to hear,just let me know if you'd like to talk or if there's a problem,alright?'
Allure
"Um o-okay Miss.."
Allure then sat in silence as she watched the Headmistress going through her emails for the next 5-10 minutes,she wasn't quite sure what to do so she decided to ask her something.
Allure
"Miss Privet,what classes do you teach?"
Headmistress Privet
"I teach History,Dance,and Science"
Allure perked up a bit when she heard Science,she loved science growing up while learning in elementary school.
Allure
"There's Science here at PCS?"
Headmistress Privet
"Yes there is,Queen Sophia decided to add some more subjects here along with 1st-4th year in Princess Charm School,although it took some time for the renovation with the addition of the new rooms and more dorms,it got finished bit by bit each year slowly adding the 3rd year,then 2nd,and 1st while also adding the new subjects,rooms and Charm School now has Science,English,Music and Arts as well since she thought the students here can unlock musical or artistic potential as well"
Allure was amazed at that,it wasn't said while the Headmistress showed her around the school so this is genuinely surprising.
Allure
"Does any other student here know it as well?"
Headmistress Privet
"Not really,they know there weren't all these additions before,but they don't know about how it was decided.."
Allure
"Ah i see..Honestly i've always wanted to hear a clear and full version of Queen Sohpia's story,if it's fine could you tell me?"
Alexandra looked at her in somewhat confusion,inside she knew that asking something like isn't exactly..proper,although it wasn't actually with a small but soft smile she responded.
Headmistress Privet
"Alright,just this once…It all started when she was a baby.."
Alexandra began telling her the story of Queen Sophia,Allure was amazed at the story,and also the fact that she tutored her since apparently she never had tutored anyone before,not even a girl named Portia even though she wasn't as good as the time she finished the story it was already Allure's next class.
Allure
"It was fun talking with you Miss Privet,i'll see you in History class"
Headmistress Privet
"I'll be right behind you,go to your class now"
Allure
"Alright Miss Privet"
And with that she walked out of the office and to History class,Alexandra got her stuff ready and was right behind they didn't really start a new lesson,they just reviewed some stuff over and Elysian and Sapphire were in History class with was then introduced to Miss Nova in her other class in Music class,Allure found her fair but nice was then lunch time and just like her friends said,they'd sit together at Allure,Elysian and Sapphire were eating,Sona was glaring at Allure 'She shouldn't be here in the first place,it's time for her embarrassment' Sona thought as she then got an called her sprite Valor to explain her plan as Allure,Elysian and Sapphire had finished eating their lunch.
Elysian
"Are you guys done?"
Allure and Sapphire
"Yeah"
Allure
"Let's get to our Science class"
As she got up she was stopped by Spark before she could even start walking.
Spark
"WAIT!The tablecloth is tucked in your skirt.."
Allure
"OH!Thanks Spark"
Allure said as she fixed it,but then only taking a step she tripped over her foot and in process the tablecloth got caught in her hand as she fell,it ended with her crashing to the ground with some of the utensils from Elysian and Sapphire's trays hitting her.
Sona
"Not exactly my plan,but it works me"
Sona said as she smirked,everyone in the cafeteria laughed at the scene,all except the adults,especially Alexandra and both were upset at the scene,but they were mostly worried for Allure,especially got up in embarrassment and without anymore thought she ran from the cafeteria to her shared dorm,her friends and their sprites ran after her back to their shared dorm in worry for the and Delancy looked at Sona for a moment in suspicion before looking at each other,silently agreeing to talk after classes were over for the day.
Allure
"Why did I have to be clumsy.."
Allure said as she sat down on her bed,they only had about 7-12 minutes before their Art class started.
Elysian
"Not everyone can be graceful all the time,even princesses can have their clumsy moments"
Sapphire
"Yeah,and besides like they say,no one is perfect"
Just then they heard a knock at the door,Sapphire opened it to see Spark struggling to hold up a box.
Spark
"Care Package for Allure.."
Spark said as Sapphire took the box before she could get squished by it,she thanked her before closing the door a little more.
Allure
"Really?It must be from Miss Oliver,she's the owner of the Orphanage i grew up in"
Allure said as she took the box from her friend,she then opened the box and grabbed a framed photo when she was 3-4 years old,when she first moved to the Orphanage.
Elysian
"That's you?"
Allure
"Yep!This was after a few days of my accident..the car crash.I was,only 3-4.."
Just then the Headmistress was about to knock on the door when she suddenly stopped as she heard the girl talk,instead she opened the door a little bit more without being saw Allure,Elysian and Sapphire on the bed.
Allure
"I had,and still have,severe trauma to my brain,to which I was diagnosed with of that,i couldn't remember almost everything..My name,my house,but most importantly..My mom…"
Alexandra stood silent as she listened unintentionally,looks like she wouldn't need to ask her the reason for why she doesn't have a last name then.
Allure
"After a while I remembered most things about me,my first name but not my full name,and I remembered everything about me in a one thing I can't remember is my mom..not her name,her home address,or even her appearance.."
Elysian
"Really?You still have amnesia?"
Allure
"Yep,I do..All I can remember of my mom is in a blurry memory,the only thing I can tell is…Brunette hair..Fair skin..And a golden hair clip"
Alexandra listened closely to that part,she also wears a golden hair clip,but it could've been a coincidence since anyone could've gotten the exact same one.
Sapphire
"You must really miss your mom"
Allure nodded,as she looked at the framed photo she said.
Allure
"I love mom more than anyone,i miss her..She means everything to me"
And at that statement,Alexandra then thought about it before she walked away to her next class 'I'm going to help her get through to the end,no matter what..' she thought to ,Elysian and Sapphire were now in their Science class,currently reading over the book of weather when the Headmistress suddenly said.
Headmistress Privet
"Students,we will be doing a little spelling for today"
All the students just nodded at that,the Headmistress then asked each one of them to spell words like Anemometer or Hygrometer,however she gave her students a little bit of a surprise.
Headmistress Privet
"Alright class the last word isn't part of our lessons in science,just to let everyone know"
Well that was certainly a surprise to say the least,every student in the class then listened carefully for the word they would be given.
Headmistress Privet
"Who can spell pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?"
The word itself was enough to silence everyone in the class,they've probably heard it before but don't know the Headmistress waited patiently for a volunteer but after about a minute or 2 she then spoke.
Headmistress Privet
"If no one volunteers in the next few minutes i will call someone myself"
Now that was even worse,Elysian and Sapphire weren't too sure about their spelling and Allure was quickly thinking about it,she then made up her mind as she raised her hand,letting the Headmistress know that she volunteers.
Headmistress Privet
"Ah alright Allure,stand up and spell the word"
Allure does as instructed and stands up,she's nervous but she then speaks.
Allure
"P..n..e..u..m..o..n..o..u..l..t..r..a..m..i..c..r..o..s..c..o..p..i..c"
Everyone listened in silence,Alexandra walked up to Allure with a bit of a stunned expression.
Allure
"S..i..l..i..c..o..v..o..l..c..a..n..o"
Elysian and Sapphire were surprised at the fact that she knew how to spell it,she just had to avoid a mistake.
Allure
"C..o..n..i..o..s..i..s"
Every student in the classroom gasped,she'd spelled it whole,but was it right?Silence fell upon the room as they waited patiently.
Allure
"Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis"
Elysian and Sapphire looked up at their friend in shock before they looked at the Headmistress,waiting to see what would then Alexandra spoke.
Headmistress Privet
"Well done Allure!That is correct!"
Allure quietly gasped in shock,she did it!There was silence,and then her 2 friends started clapping,and soon enough the other students were clapping as well,except for Allure sat down everyone had stopped clapping,the Headmistress then spoke once the bell had rang.
Headmistress Privet
"Alright class see you all tomorrow,Allure i would like to speak to you.."
Allure
"Yes o-of course.."
Allure said then she waited for everyone to have exited the Science Lab,she then turned to look at the Headmistress with some confusion.
Allure
"Miss Privet,why do you need to talk to me?"
Allure asked as she followed the Headmistress to the library that was a connected room to the Science Lab,the Headmistress then responded.
Headmistress Privet
"I was wanting to talk to you for a very important reason.."
She then handed Allure a stack of books for computer class,they then walked around the computers as Alexandra would grab a book and place it down in front of the computer.
Headmistress Privet
"I know it's only been a day but-"
Allure
"I'm really bad at this stuff?"
Headmistress Privet
"Not exactly,i will say however that you've done a bit better than Blair when she first started.."
Allure
"Oh I see..were you going to,expel me?"
Alexandra then turned to face Allure once she had placed the last book.
Headmistress Privet
"No I'm not,although I would like to ask you something..Do you know what it takes to be a princess?"
Allure
"Um a crown?"
Headmistress Privet
"No not a crown, our class in poise and dance,they're not superficial"
Allure
"So they're supposed to build confidence?"
Headmistress Privet
"Indeed,but confidence without character is you have a different problem.."
Allure was a bit confused by that statement,she had a different problem?So she just listened as Alexandra talked.
Headmistress Privet
"Character without confidence"
Allure was sort of taken aback but then she became not as surprised since she knew herself that she did have character but no self confidence.
Allure
"So what are you gonna do now?.."
Headmistress Privet
"I'm going to do what I have done with Queen Sophia,I'm also going to tutor you!"
Allure was taken aback by the statement,but at the same time felt relieved and happy about that.
Headmistress Privet
"I believe that you can also find the princess deep within you if you just give it a chance,so what do you say?"
Allure gave it some thought,with extra help she could catch up with the other girls.
Allure
"Yes!I'll do it!"
Allure exclaimed before hugging the Headmistress,she was rather taken aback from the action since it felt familiar?She did think it was a bit inappropriate,but she let it slide for a few seconds before pulling away.
Headmistress Privet
"Alright,rule number hugging the tutor"
Allure
"Sorry it's just- when do we start?"
Headmistress Privet
"In a few minutes,I need to talk to Lady Royal Delancy first,but meet me outside okay?"
Allure just nodded before walking out,Alexandra then went to her office to find the Lady Royal on the chair waiting for her.
Lady Royal Delancy
"So Headmistress,how do we handle Sona?"
