Chapter 7: The Fleet lords flame pt 2
Location: Forests around Port City
Place: Forest clearing
Time: early evening
Gimmjow felt a light tapping on his shoulder, rousing him from his sleep. He looked up and saw Shawlong standing next to him.
"Is it time?" asked Grimmjow.
"Yes. I've already mapped out a plan of attack. We Fire the Cero's from here drawing out our enemies. Once they arrive we break them apart from the fleet lord and allow you to fight him to your heart's content. I expect that you should be able to defeat him easily enough. Especially if you take advantage of your soul power.
Grimmjow smirked. Soul Power had once been thought exclusive to those inbred island lovers. However, that changed when Aizen managed to get his hands on the item they used to weaponize their souls.
Let's get started boys," said Grimmjow.
The six men lined up on the outskirts of the city with Grimmjow building up a Cero in his hand. The others followed suit and unleashed their attack at once. They watched as the cero's merged and came upon the capital building of the city. They all waited in anticipation until a flame shot out and snuffed the ceros out in an explosion.
The group all looked in shock as this happened. Ceros was nearly impossible to block unless it was with a solid object. To overpower six Cero's and one from a member of the 10 Espada was nearly unheard of. This made Grimmjow grin. Maybe he would have a challenge.
"I hope you're ready to die!" yelled a voice.
Grimmjow turned around with his men and saw that a patrol had surrounded them. Maybe 20 men in total all with swords.
"I don't need this right now! Someone takes care of these weaklings!" growled Grimmjow.
The largest of the men walked forward. "Of course, Boss," said the Man before vanishing and reappearing with his large cleaver-style sword and several dead men behind him. He grinned at the fact that they died so easily, but then again, he was ready for his target to come. Before the man could round on the others and finish the job He found a hand on his head.
"There are three things I can't stand in this world. Those who hurt my family, those who waste good raman, and those who kill my men for the sake of killing. Face my judgment! BURNING FINGER!" yelled Naruto as his left-hand glowed red.
The large man yelled as he felt his brain cooking before his head exploded in a pillar of flames. Naruto snorted as the body fell over dead, with his neck smoking.
Wave, Esdeath, Saeko, and Rangiku managed to join Naruto only a few seconds later.
Grimmjow smirked. "Fleet Lord Uzumaki so good of you to come! I was hoping you would get here before your subordinates. The fact that you managed to kill Nakeem Grindina with just your bare hand should show how strong you can are Fleet Lord," said Grimmjow
"Bloodthirsty, blue hair, a disregard for life. Partas," said Naruto, not asking stating a fact.
And you're an Uzumaki. There's no denying that. Not just someone taking their name. Your life force is strong. I can feel it from here. It's kinda ironic. Your clan was the opposite of the Partas Clan. A bunch of tree huggers who became dogs of the empire. but you managed to tame a powerful woman of my clan. I'm not even mad about it. Your blood will make the Patras clan invincible once Esdeath pops out a kid or two. If you survive this battle,"
"I do plan on having at least three kids with my beloved," said Esdeath.
"Shut it bitch. All I care about is the greatest fight with the Fleet Lord," said Grimmjow.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this. "You talk so casually about Esdeath popping out kids, yet you are about to be in a life-or-death fight with her. Do you not fear death?"
"No Partas fears dead beloved, It is not our way," said Esdeath With a rapier made of ice in her hands and her heels still on.
Naruto closed his eyes and chuckled as he planted his sword in the ground. "Very well. Everyone pick a dance partner and put an end to these Rebels!"
"Yes Lord Naruto," said the others as they all took off and selected someone to fight.
Rangiku vs Yylfordt Granz
Rangiku looked at the man who was her opponent. He had long blond hair and if he wasn't an enemy would be easily on the eyes. Red eyes and a white uniform. He had a sword in his hands and looked like a competent swordsman.
"Before you die I want to hear your screams s I cut you up student of the Fleet Lord. Don't disappoint me. Yylfordt!" yelled the man.
"There's only one man who will ever be able to make me scream and I plan on doing that in his ear," said Rangiku.
The duo charged at each other with Rangiku attacking high as the blonde-haired man blocked the attack he laughed as he thrust his blade at Rangiku. Rangiku blocked the attack barely but caught a kick to the stomach for her troubles that sent her rolled backward. Rangiku rolled to her feet and began to weave her fingers.
"Shakkaho!" yelled Rangiku unleashing a red high-speed ball from her hands.
Yylfordt knocked the ball away with his sword but dropped it as his sword became super-heated. Rangiku charged forward and attacked and thrust at his leg. She managed to stab her attacker in the leg. No matter how tough or powerful the outside. The inside was soft as Baby shit.
"This is where you die. GROWL Hinako!"
The blade began to break apart before turning into ash. Since it was inside of his bloodstream Rangiku began to mentally command the millions of tiny blades to burst out his body. The man screamed in pain as pores were ripped open, vanes snapped, and nerves attacked. Rangiku held up her hilt and commanded the partials to reform into her blade before she sheathed it.
"May you find peace in the afterlife," said Rangiku before she jumped away to go and find her master.
Saeko vs Shawlong
Saeko keeps pace with shawlong blocking each attack with a well-timed parrires. Saeko jumped into the air with her sword over her head and used one of her overhead slashes. Shawlong blocked the attack and felt the might of Saeko's attack. Jumping backwards he put his arms behind his back.
"Miss Busujima may I ask you a question?"
"Oh. This is interesting," thought the swordswoman.
"What is it?" asked Saeko.
"Am I to presume that you are the child of Lord Busukima Saito?"
Saeko nodded. "Yes, Saito is my father. Lord of the Imperial sword style and the best swordsman of the empire," said the purple haired swords woman.
Shawlong nodded, before getting into a familiar stance. The Busujima sword stance.
"Then allow me to introduce myself properly. I am Shawlong Koufang. Level 3 Master of the Busujima hand-to-hand style.
Saeko couldn't keep the smirk off of her face. Aside from her father, Naruto, and Esdeath, few people could give her a challenge. If Shawlong was as good as he said.
Quickly sheathing her sword, she got into a stance. "I Busujima Saeko accept your Challenge Shawlong Koufang!" grinned Saeko.
The duo looked at each other. The cold blue eyes of Saeko locked onto the Before vanishing. They appeared on each side of each other with Saeko's hand on her sword. As it was barely out of it's sheath with five cuts along her side.
Shawlong stood straight. And smiled "You are quite a woman Miss Busujima," said Shawlong.
"Thank you Shawlong. Embrace eternity Busujima style: Flash," said Saeko fully sheathing her sword.
Naruto vs Grimmjow
Grimmjow smirked as he looked at the Fleet Lord. Naruto had his hand on his sword. Grimmjow raised his hands.
"that's it! More+ Fleet lord. Let's have more funRapid fire: Bala!" yelled
Several blue orbs flow at Naruto. Naruto unsheathed his sword igniting it before batting all the balls away. Naruto jumped into the air and raised his left hand.
"Left hand of judgment! Flaming shurikens!" yelled Naruto as several hundred flaming balls flew at Grimmjow.
Grimmjow jumped backward several times, avoiding the attacks, but on his last jump before he could counter-attack he felt a steely finger grab the back of his neck in a vicelike grip Naruto held Grimmjow high in the air with his left hand, before rising his blade to the glove.
"You're in my range Crimson Explosion!" Growled Naruto as he sparked his sword against the wire mesh of his glove creating a spark and igniting the gunpowder, he kept in his specialized fighting gloves.
The explosion engulfed Naruto's hand and Grimjow's face, only enhanced by Naruto releasing a blast of flames that sent Gimmjow flying. Grimmjow rolled on the ground smoking. Everyone who was watching looked at the fleet lord and noticed that he didn't have even a burn on his from the explosion. Naruto reached into the pocket of his coat and pulled out a second glove and covered hand.
"I'll ask Matsumoto to remind me to get ignition gloves commissioned. I keep forgetting how expensive and annoying these explosive black powder gloves are," thought Naruto in annoyance.
While it didn't leave any burns or scars thanks to Naruto rising the heat just above the explosive range the tips of Naruto's fingers were numb for several seconds The flames themselves wouldn't leave a burn on Naruto unless he raised the temperature to something he couldn't handle, but it was the concussive force that did the damage.
Grimmjow got up and charged at Naruto before raising his leg and throwing a powerful kick at Naruto's head. Naruto blocked the attack with his forearm before throwing him off. Naruto raised the hilt of his sword and hit grimmjow in the center of his chest and sent him backwards. Taking a stance, Naruto sucked in a breath.
"Great Flame!" yelled Naruto opening his mouth and unleashing a breath of fire is Grimmjow,
Grimmjow cursed and cut his hand on his sword as his ring lit up. "Gran Rey Cero!" yelled Grimmjow as a large blue energy ball fired from his hand.
The two attacks collided with each other and seemed to fight for dominance, before Naruto rushed in slashing his blade though the flames and the Cero, but his blade remained alight before it was absorbed into in body. Before in what seemed like an increase of speed had him in front of Gimmjow in a second, before he slashed down breaking though Grimmjow's guard and sending him flying. Using the False flash step Naruto appeared behind him, and grabbed him by the collar, before unleashing a torrent of flames from his hand. Gimmjow refused to yell in pain, but dammit if Naruto didn't tear it from his soul, Naruto consumed the fire, before allowing Grimmjow to fall to the earth.
Grimmjow stopped himself and landed on his knees. Naruto landed several feet before him and smiled.
"I thought you bowed to no man. Seems like you're bowing to me now," smirked Naruto.
Grimmjow rose to his feet. "What kind of busted ass Tengu do you have to give you such power?" asked Grimmjow.
"I don't have a Tengu," said Naruto shocking both Hinata and Gimmjow.
"Bullshit, power like that can only be a tengu! Even our Cero rings are mass-produced weakened versions of Tengu! If what you saying is true, then what the hell are you!?" yelled Grimmjow.
Naruto smirked. "The power comes from my very soul. A power that only those of Uzumaki blood are capable of. As we come of age at 12 or 13, we are gifted with a choice. Awaken the power sleeping within your soul or use the power of a deceased relative to increase your own. I chose to awaken the power of my soul with the Zampakto," said Naruto as he lifted the sword.
"If this is his soul...," thought Grimmjow as a shiver of... was that fear that creep up his spine?
"Why do you think my post is in the Fleet and not the capital? Esdeath, Budo, and I are all capable of destroying countries alone. However, where the difference lies is that I can destroy a country in minutes, and it takes Esdeath days to do the same thing.
Grimmjow took all this in and grinned. "So, you're claiming to be the strongest? SO, PROVE IT FLEET LORD UZUMAKI! GRIND PANTARA!" yelled Grimmjow as he ripped his fingers down the blade.
An explosion of azure blue engulfed the area before it died down revealing Grimmjow's new slick armored form. Grimmjow's appearance changes drastically to something more feline and predatory. His teeth become jagged and sharp, his hands turn into black claws and his feet become black clawed paws, similar to that of a cat, along with a slender whip-like tail that's longer than his body. His hair becomes very long and flowing, and the markings around his eyes enlarge and extend to the tips of his ears, which become swept back and cat-like. On his head is a plate a sort of headgear upon his brow covering his forehead. His clothing changes to become form-fitting white segmented armor, He has blades protruding from his forearms and his calves.
Naruto smirked as he got into a stance. "I hope you're ready now that you've shown me your true form I just you worthy of seeing one of my strongest attacks.
"DON'T MOCK ME! Desgarrón!" yelled Grimmjow as ten light blades appeared as he charged at Naruto.
Naruto put the blade on his shoulder. "Dance of the Flames: 8 step; White Nova!"
Naruto swung the sword so fast that the friction in the air ignited it turning the flames white before Naruto slashed at Grimmjow unleashing the white flames. Gimmjow's eyes widened before he barely managed to move to the right as his arm was cut off. No blood was seen as the heat instantly sealed the cut but for almost a mile a deep furo appeared in the ground with white flames all along it. Grimmjow smirked as he quickly spun on his heel and charged at Naruto.
"You won't escape death. Dance of the Flames 8th Step; White Nova Backlash!" said Naruto.
Before Grimmjow could get to Naruto the air in the path of the air burned white hot and exploded! Grimmjow let out a scream of pain, as he was blown away. He landed on the ground several dozens of feet away, his flesh burned and peeling. Even the protective armor he wore was barely hanging onto his frame. He looked up and saw the Lord of Flames walking to him. Each step he took the flames seem to absorb into his body. When he stood before him the flames all around them seemed to keep absorbing into his body.
"Tell me before I die," started Grimmjow, his mouth dry, he felt hot like the flames of hell were licking his skin. He was so dammed thirsty. "Did you go all out on me?"
"No. You are strong Grimmjow. If you had fought 20-year-old me, then the battle would have been closer to even. However, I've been building my flames for over 20 years. You stood no chance," said Naruto
Grimmjow grinned. "Thanks for being honest with me... I'll take your name and use it as my entry fee into hell... Naruto Uzumaki," said Grimmjow as his eyes glassed over.
Sheathing his sword Naruto removed his shirt and throw it over Grimmjow's face. "Then I will remember your name Grimmjow before he reached down and took his Cero Ring and his sword. Using his personal flames Naruto melted the sword down to slag, ensuring that no one would be able to use it again.
"Beloved," said Esdeath, before she was grabbed by Naruto and kissed her.
Esdeath's eyes widened as Naruto pulled back. A dark lust in his eyes. "You will be in my chambers tonight alongside Saeko and Rangiku. The three of you will not sleep tonight so whatever assignments or appointments you have are to be canceled. You won't be walking out of my room without a limp," growled Naruto.
Esdeath smirked. "Yes, My Lord,"
Location: Port City
Place: Large Manor
Time: late evening
Hinata deactivated her byakugan when she saw the massive build-up of what appeared to be fire chakra, before it exploded outwards. She frowned as she saw this release of power. In her experience, only Kage-ranked Shinobi had such power. Hinata herself wasn't anywhere close to this level.
"Sasuke-san?" asked Hinata
"That battle gave me a bit more information to formulate an idea of who these people are. If Uzumaki and Partas are the gold standards for the empire, then we cannot allow them to join the Kumo-Iwa alliance. I'm guessing that those flames of his are from his Tengu," said Sasuke.
Hinata smiled. "Then it's a good thing that we control the open ocean waters," said Hinata.
"Then are you going to bed him?" asked Sasuke.
Hinata put a hand to her face, before biting her finger and making a few hand signs. A small slug appeared in front of her. Hinata reached into her kimono and pulled out a brush and paper, before quickly writing a message.
"Take this to Tsunade-sama. Let her know that I will personally be executing an SX-ranked mission of a high-ranking member of the Imperial Army. Probably the second or third highest," said Hinata.
"Is that wise Hinata?" asked Tenten having seen the mission details that Hinata had scribbled.
"This is active Shinobi and Kunoichi business," said Hinata.
"Yeah, but when it comes to seduction all you have going for you is your exotic looks and big breasts. The Fleet Lord probably has women at his beck and call. From what Wave told me that Rangiku girl is practically a groupie and He's the only man who can tame that Saeko chick," said Tenten.
"How did you manage to get him to spill his guts so quickly?" asked Sasuke.
Tenten smirked. "Just because I haven't been active doesn't mean I didn't pick up some new skills. While the rumors about me sleeping with anyone are a bit exaggerated some of the people who I wanted to have sex with took a bit of convening. Wave is innocent. A little flash of flesh here, a kind word here, and a little kissing before everything went south. If I had given him the time of his life tonight, I probably could have convinced him to let me study his tengu for weakness and to backward engineer it for our own use," said Tenten.
"And you think that you can do this?" asked Sasuke.
Tenten smiled, before sticking his tongue out at him. "Come on Uchiha-san I am a Master Blacksmith and a Jonin Ranked Seal master.
Hinata considered this for a moment. Whatever her personal feelings for the woman before her, she couldn't deny that Tenten was the best seal except in konoha outside of Jiraya of the Sannin himself. As sealing in and of itself was practically a lost art outside of storage scrolls and explosive tags. And loath as she was to admit it Tenten had Made more progress with Wave in a day, than Hinata had with Naruto in two weeks.
"If you do this Tenten I expect results," said Hinata.
"Don't worry. I don't plan on failing. In fact, Wave just might lose his virginity tonight.
