Chapter 9 : A trip down Memory lane
AN: Hello my lovelies I am so so sorry I have not been posting on this story. I got sick with a cold and catching up with family so I have been busy.

It was a bright sunny Thursday morning and Mirabel was especially happy today as the birds were singing a little bright tune.
"You never fail to make me happy do you?" Mirabel said to the bird
The bird chirps and nods as she smiles.
"Casita is everything okay?" She asked the house
Then Casita shifted her out the door and into the courtyard Mirabel was surprised the house had taken her here. But on the ground was a picture book and a picnic blanket and basket so she sat down and looked through the book and laughed at a photo of her running around through the kitchen while her papá was trying to catch her.
Then Isabela noticed her sitting and wandered what she was up to.
"Hola Mira What are you doing ?" Isabela asked
"Oh Isa I was just looking through some pictures Casita dragged me out here all of sudden ". Mirabel replies
"Do you mind if I look with you?" Isabela questioned
"No but aren't you supposed to be helping the village?" She asked
"No I asked Mamá if I could have the day off and she rightfully agreed, besides I am never to busy for My Hermana ". Isabela laughed
"Sounds good". Mirabel smiled
As the girls continued to look through the photo book until Isabela pointed to a photo.
"Oh I remember this one we tried to make Arepas for the first time and ended up burning ourselves the kitchen was a mess". Isabela cringed
"Yeah not our finest moment I would say". Mirabel replies
"Oh what about this one when Tia Pepa read to us every night near the fire and we would cuddle close". Mirabel pointed to the photo with Both young girls cuddled against their Tia.
"Yeah Tia Pepa still has the best Cuddles". Isabela smiled fondly
"Here's one of Camilo". Isabela points to a four year old Camilo
"Looks like he stuffed his face and tried to hide it I am guessing Tio Felix took that one". Isabela laughed
The rest of the Family came back from chores that day and found both girls looking at a photo book and sitting in the Courtyard. Dolores came and sat near the girls to look at the photo book along with Antonio and Camilo.
"What are you two doing ?" Antonio asked
"Looking at some old photos Tonito ". Mirabel replies
"Oh here's one of me and you". Mirabel points to a photo of a Baby Antonio in Mirabel 's lap by the lake.
Antonio smiles at the photo and goes to Hug his precious Prima tightly.
The al the grandkids came across one of Mirabel in a beautiful blue dress and then they realised what day it was dated : March 6 1949.
"Mira did you take this yourself?" Dolores said
"Maybe". She fake smiled
"Mirabel Valentina Rojas Madrigal don't lie to us". Dolores warned
"Ok I might have but so what you never cared anyway and the only one to celebrate with was Antonio ". Mirabel yelled
They were all surprised by her tone of voice.
"Lo siento I just… I just wanted to celebrate this one thing after all that happened I just wanted to be happy even for a little while. I mean after all that happened with the town and Abuela said that I was a lost cause and even worse I made myself Believe that Tio Bruno was gone because of me". Mirabel cried
"Oh Mira we never wanted that to happen and your not useless, you are special in our hearts and that's all that Matters and Tio Bruno left to protect you because He loves you ". Dolores put down the book and cuddled her.
Soon all the kids joined in the hug the Adults came in stunned.
"Niños what is going on here". Pepa asked
"Mira was just feeling sad so we helped her". Antonio replies
"Mira Mi vida what happened?" Julieta asked
"Nothing". She simply answers
"We found this while looking through photos". Camilo said
He showed the picture to all the Adults and they were shocked they even had tears.
"Mira Carina did you take this?" Bruno asked
"Si". She nodded
She suddenly burst into tears remembering all the pain she went through.
"Estas bien Mariposa it is ok I'm here". Bruno reassures
"Lo siento… I just I just ". She studded
"You don't have to explain yourself. You know what go get changed into your dress". Bruno said
"Why?" Mirabel wiped her tears
"Because I have an idea". Was all Bruno said
So Mirabel did as her Tio said and 15 Minutes later the courtyard had the Camera set up.
"What's this?" She asked
"I thought we could retake the photo with the Family and recreate New Memories ". Bruno replies
Isabela dragged her in the courtyard with the others and they all smiled and laughed.
"Now stand right there Mija". Julieta said
"That's it now smile". Julieta instructs
The took the photo and once is was done she smiled and laughed. They all came around and looked at the photo and all smiled.
"That's our Mariposa ". Bruno exclaimed
They continued to look at the photo and smile and decided to put it in the kitchen. While the rest helped pack up.
"Thank you for doing this Tio it makes me happy". Mirabel hugged her Tio
"Anything for you Mariposa ". He prepped her face with kisses
Mirabel was more than happy that even though there are bad Memories in the past. You can always create new ones with the ones you love.
