Summary/disclaimer Time for another chapter of Metallic Melody. Enjoy the 3500-word chapter. I do not own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi, and a few others do.

There is a lot more to this than Hikaru was going to be. Still? She had been prepared as of the time. she wanted more control, more power at the second.

It had been something that she had been interested in. He knew more than here that she had been a lot more energetic than she had been before now.

It had been something he wanted to handle more than anything. Whatever little bit of power when this had ended for the time being seemed to come all crashing down the time. This had been something odd for the time being.

Whatever she had been for now had made him roll his eyes for the time being. She had seemed to be odder than before when it came down to it.

There was a lot more to see and do before this had been something that had not yet ended and he had not found the answer to it. This had been something odd for the time being when all had been said and done.

"You and your babies," Hikaru stated before he sighed to himself. "There's a lot more that we had been going on," Hikaru said as he clicked as of the second.

It made him tilt his head as she continued to lean over his shoulder, trying to take every little piece of technology he had in his hand.

There was more that he had not expected. This project had been something odd for him, daunting even. He had not yet wanted to do more than anything as of the second.

He had wanted to do more than it seemed as if they were a lot more to question for now and it had been fun before now. he had a lot more to question at the time now.

He brushed off his clothes and looked around before he hummed and looked at her with interest. There was more to this than what he wanted to be done with for the time being. this had been something he had not yet found to be at all cool with when it was done.

She was still smiling; he was going to be a lot more interesting as to what the hell was going on. This had to end sooner or later but for now? It had been something else that had to end.

Still? He had no damn idea as of the second while he glanced around before he tilted his head. She had wanted to be interesting at the time and she was winning him over each second. That had been something more horrid of the time.

"I'm very good at making babies, you're just jealous," Mei stated before she hummed to herself. "What happens if either of us does something just means a lot of the time. There was a lot more on this. It had been fun; we both know what will happen at the time." Mei stated before she frowned as she hummed to herself.

She knew that he was honestly curious at the time. He had been a lot more fun when it came down to it. There is more to this. He had been confusing to her, there was so much that had been interesting to them. They were going to have fun one way or another and nothing was going to change.

Still? There was more fun to be had and she was just pushing him at the time. this had been interesting as of the second. There was honestly too much to do at the time, projects to be made, more to do when it came down to the time,

It had been fun as of the second while this transpired. A lot more was coming and this came down to their different styles and what was to come as of the second. It had been hard on both when it came down to this.

There was a lot more of the time. She knew he would not easily abandon the classic ideals and such that had watched him make. Part of her honestly wished that it had been something they teamed up on sooner. It was honestly something she questioned if they came down to these tactics and what to do with them.

"I know, it's what your good at from what I heard and I don't want to mess with that at all," Hikaru said before he looked out the door. "But I do know this is going to end silly one way or another when it comes down to it," Hikaru stated as he turned to look at her with interest.

This had been something odd for the time being when he considered it. There was more to the game than he had wanted to be for the time being. whatever he had been for now had been something he could not control for now when it was all said and done. There was simply too much at stake for now and he could not back down from it.

He felt her arms lance over his metallic ones and sigh as she tried her darndest to reach over his shoulder and look at her with a look of amusement on her face as he hummed and tried to handle what had been placed in front of him. This had been something that needed to be handled for now.

She slowly started to examine it while glancing at him before he seemed to question before this had been done and dusted. He knew for a fact that she was just trying to help for now. it made him sigh and shake his head back and forth.

Whatever let him complete the project the better. This woman had not yet seemed to entertain the idea that this had been before now. He tilted his head while he questioned what to do next. He was not prepared for whatever he would focus on now for the time being if anything. He was not focused on what had been prepared for the worst when it seemed to be capable of what he did next.

He was unsure of what to do next. Whatever Mei did? Well, he was going to be prepared. Mei leaned over his back, while he sighed. She tilted her head. They had more moves than they seemed to be capable of when it was done.

Mei glanced over the machinery, prepared for whatever would come after this. She was honestly too curious, unsure of the machinery, but knowing its purpose was far more of an odd thing.

He was not focusing while he hummed, unsure of your move. He knew what she had been placed into, not sure what this would lead to, what the next move was, how this would end when it would end, anything.

He sighed, simply tugging at her before realizing it was nothing, he would not dissuade her, he would not stop her more than anything. If anything? He was just provoking her, pushing her into a path that she did not want or need to be on. He was not willing to push her further, but that was what it took. Well, he would make sure.

She blinked before simply doing it again. He cursed the idea that she was a little taller than him at times. It had been something that she could not at all push past. She was not willing to push him past what he had done. If anything? She knew she could do this or something odd. He had been prepared for the worst.

If anything? Now she was all to be where it was when it all ended. She wore him down again and again as if he could not resist this type of attention… And he would be lying if he said he was not at least somewhat in any real manner at the end of the day.

Perhaps she did not know him, she did not at all know when it came down to it as she cracked her fingers before she fell silent once more at this moment, yawning to herself for now.

If anything? Well. He was adrift in a sea and without any real-life line to catch himself. If anything? All this did was slowly push him toward the edge. It became an odd little move, not prepared for the worst if it came to that.

She folded one piece of metal over, unsure of what to do. It was not a lot more than he could manage. If anything? He had yet to understand her when all of this was properly over.

He had been confused, unsure of her next move. He had been perhaps of whatever came down to it.

"Are you usually like this? Usually this way?" Hikaru questioned as he tried to find a method to this madness, an end to this.

He was not sure of what she planned to do, what there was at the end of this madness they embarked on for the end.

Mei shrugged, towering as much as she could over him. Hikaru sighed, only for him to find it to be handled as of now. there was just too much madness for the girl, this could not have been done for now, only did it sink in after a few seconds.

He was far too tired, far too unsure of what she would do to find this as bothering as much as he wished to have done, there was a lot more upon the mind. He did not know what else there was a lot more to have understood and she?

Well, she was unique, she was constantly pushing him, forcing him down a path he did not understand, for now, there was a lot more upon which this could have been handled, too unsure, uncertain how this could have gone.

There was a lot more to have focused on for now. He was a lot more to question. There were a few seconds of him thinking as the girl marched up to him, he was tilting his head, par for the course unsure, too thrown off by her and far too unsure of her.

She walked up to him, looking the cybernetic boy in the eye as she towered over him. there was a lot more to have been questioned, this became something else, something interesting which made him question what she was, what he was at the end of the day, this was such a fun little thing for now.

It made him sigh as he realized just how insane this was, there was probably going to have been a lot more to this when it came down to it, it was a lot more to question before this came to an end.

She reached over him only for him to grip her arm, unsure of what to do next. There was a lot more to focus on as of now. He sighed and looked at her as she grinned before he hummed before now. This was going to have been a lot more to question while this was done. He tilted his head, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, I am like this usually. Your fun, you are always fun." Mei stated to which Hikaru stated before he sighed.

"Well, maybe you're a little fun, but you're a lot sillier than it comes down to it," Hikaru said while he raised an eyebrow.

"Also? You are very weird, sometimes I think you are just making me question what is going to happen next. I do not know what to do around you at times." Hikaru said before he looked at her, looking at the part in her hand, she glanced up at her before it came down to it.

Hikaru hummed as he questioned what to have done next. There was a moment of silence, he did not know what else to focus on now. He raised an eyebrow, unsure of what to do at the second. This was a problem that he could not have overcome with it as it seemed to be so odd.

There was a lot worse problem than what to have been prepared for at the time. She had questioned what it was a lot when it seemed it was all over.

Mei was a lot more of an odd woman. This was a problem for the time being. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth as she started to tinker over his shoulder.

Mei watched as her fingers started to turn and fumble with the tech, he sighed. Hikaru sighed and let her work, simply too curious as to how this mad woman was to have an eye for detail, something he could have at least respected when it came down to insanity.

"What exactly are you planning to have created with this? What do you want to have done so badly that this was the masterpiece you wanted to control, hmm? Because I'm trying and failing to see it." Hikaru stated before he rubbed at his temples before he questioned before now sighed.

"You're not supposed to, sweetie, it's all odd, it's all weird and stuff… You really shouldn't be handling something like this so easily," Mei said with a smile that made the boy sigh so much he believed he rolled his head back into his head. This had gone so odd.

He snorted, but it made little difference to him, was she willing to do something like this? Fine, sure… He'd let her have some sort of fun, wasn't like it was going to mean much. This meant little to him, little difference to him. Yes, such a little difference that it made him want to have screamed. He knew more than what would happen if he had managed to do it. Yes, this was all going to come crumbling down.

Yes. All of this was going to crash down on them. He didn't know what this was going to have been. He was clicking his fingers, snapping his fingers as he waited to see what she'd have made.

Yes, such a thing would have terrified him, such a problem, such a thing that had gotten so far out of hand with enough time and effort.

He sighed, too thrown off by this. He wanted to have been able to relax now. He hadn't been a lot tired and a lot more thrown before this.

The insanity had yet washed over him, it had been such an odd thing that had thrown him to pieces. He hadn't yet questioned before he seemed to have been for now. He hadn't been too ensured for now.

It had been so odd that he had to cut apart and seem to have crushed. He was eager to have been able to have focused when to it.

All of this was a mistake. It was all a mistake at the end of the day when it was all said and done. She hadn't been prepared for now. This was just maddening and it was clear it'd always be maddening. Perhaps that was just rotten luck for the time being.

He still let her work, it was better to allow her the madness of this than push her and see it all come tumbling down into the drink. Perhaps then she'd find some news that didn't send her screeching into the madness… Where she liked it. It was entirely clear she'd probably find it as maddening as everything else.

Mei continued to look over his shoulders as he sighed and allowed her to work, it was clear she'd not relent until he'd done so anyway as of now.

"You didn't fix the power conductor either, without that? You'd bake the silly thing off like popcorn." Mei stated while she pointed at a certain part of the thing.

"And? It's not exactly like that part is easy to replace, Mei. The thing is a special type of conductor and you know that. It's not some fancy metal you can get at the nearest store… Unless they lied in which case I'm a lot more annoyed." Hikaru stated as he shook his head, he felt off for the time being.

"Are you going to be ok?" Hikaru asked to which she nodded. "Good. You're going to keep asking me about these sorts of things, aren't you?" Hikaru asked to which she smirked before she nodded to which she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.

Her eyes full of glee looked at him in a way that made him sigh as Hikaru simply went along with her gestures before she tilted her head, smirking at him before she looked at himself.

He could only ponder what she'd do as she smirked before she questioned what to have done next. It was odd for the time being and yet? Well, he didn't want to have done something for her… But he'd do it for the time being.

"C'mon, let's dance this baby up perfectly properly," Mei said as she pulled him along before she sighed to herself. "Please, just let me help. This is something I want to have been doing when it comes down to it." Mei said to which Hikaru simply sighed and yielded.

He held out his hand for the woman to drag him around the room, at the mercy of her ideas and such. It was then he realized she was massively strong and could easily drag him as if he weighed a few pounds.

It was amusing as the small woman was petite which meant he had to have been something that should have been done for the time being.

He clicked his tongue as she dragged him to the side. He could not at all before now as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth before he sighed to himself. it was then he had to question before she did so.

It was then she had done something to amuse him, poking him in the side to which he shook her head before she got all done so much more than now.

She did not at all understand anything about it all, but there was more to this and yet it seemed as if they needed to get off the ground. So many little odd tidbits for now and yet something she had to try and fix all for now.

Fix it all like she would try to fix him? The twisted irony was worth a giggle in his mind. A giggle at least besides the fact he would need to ponder every little second around her that he existed.

It was somewhat docile for now as he seemed to be able to relax more and more besides now… Yet? Hikaru was not stubborn enough to simply let his guard down for now for the time being.

Their problems were more and more of an issue. An itch that needed to be scratched with high-tech weaponry for now.

"Hmmm…" Mei said as she leaned back against Hikaru who fell silent and simply rolled his eyes toward her.

"Your something else, you know that?" Hikaru asked before rolling his eyes as he said so. "I… Thank you for helping. It is not often I get someone who can deal with me." Hikaru said, honestly curious as of now.

She nodded as if curious about what needed to be said and done. Then again? He could tell she was amused as she leaned on him, all too interested in both what needed to be done and her studying of it all.

She drummed her fingers on his spine which made the metallic hero blink. He shivered and looked at her before she seemed to smirk for now before she looked around. It was all said and done as she looked at him.

Perhaps it was some little game from her as she looked around the entire area before she crossed her arms and then looked up at the ceiling.

"We need to get to work sooner or later. I do not know if I cannot fix it for now… There are a lot lesser details to fix." Mei stated before she sighed to herself as she looked upwards.

It was a lot more of a game to focus upon, more and more games… Perhaps Mei was trying to test him and it was starting to drive him up a wall as she looked upwards and into the roof as she questioned what to do next before she rubbed at her temples.

Mei was nothing more than a problem and a few problems that needed to be questioned. Still? There were a lot more issues that needed to be addressed and he slowly started to follow her, questioning what more was to be done as of now.

There was something else on his mind and yet he found it more and more amusing to focus upon as she seemed to lead him by the nose around the room. It was worth a smile that was to be fixated by both for now.

It was odd, very odd, and yet too weird for them to ignore. Hikaru was silent, utterly silent, and unsure of what to try and do at the end of the day.

There was only so much he could try and do now besides follow her advice and it was not like the woman was wrong. He simply did not know what to try and tell her and it was clear more and more if anything.

Still? He tried and failed to grab the object back from her only as she gripped his metallic arm and made him look at her. He simply rolled his eyes and turned to look around and was far more amused.

"NOPE~!" Mei said, reaching the thing above her on her tiptoes as she realized just how eager he was to try and reach the item with such interest and amusement written all over her face.

"Mei… You are something else, you know that?" Hikaru asked as he raised an eyebrow, looking upwards with annoyance at this. "Fine, show me what you are going to do, and then let me see if I can fix it the way you want… I am starting to regret this a lot more than you think, Mei." Hikaru said as he smiled slightly more and more.

Still? He was too silent to relax at the end of the day. She crossed her arms across her chest and looked up at Hikaru looked upwards at the end of the time being.

There was a lot more to her amusement as she turned and looked to the side and tried to hide his smirk from her as she simply rolled her eyes and looked upwards and into the sky and fell more and more silent, unsure of what to do at the end of the day.

She poked his metallic chest playfully and it became obvious that certain words would exist to explain at the end of the time being. She was utterly tired and yet he returned the gesture and tapped her on the head more and more tiresome now and clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth.

"Are you going to be able to help or are you going to want to think for now? I am very interested in making this happen at the end of the day." Mei said as she turned to look around, utterly thrown off by it at the end of the day.

He tapped his metallic arms together, making a clanging noise as he turned to look to the side once more before he slowly started to look back at her, utterly tired and unsure of what to do at the end of the day.

There was a lot more to try and do at this moment. The enjoyment at the end of the day was simply making him more and more curious as now, eager to know what she had wished to try and do, and weirded him out.

He tapped his hands together but slowly walked over to the other side of the room, all too amused as of now, it did not at all need to be stated again and again and again when it came down to it.

All he was able to do was watch and listen more and more when it all ended, he wanted to know more and listen more and more to the very soothing and enjoyable sounds of it all.

It seemed more and more curious and even fun to deal with as of now when it was all over.

They had a lot more to try and understand about every single detail, every single little piece of information, something far beyond control and understanding.

He did not even want to know what she wanted. She was being too weird, far weirder as of now, it was just something harder and harder to deal with.

"Are we entirely sure that we can relax now? because you're making me weirded out just trying to see what you're going to do next." Hikaru said before she giggled, an impish, oddish giggle, a chortle.

"Trust me, if I wanted to go skating around boring you? I would have done so… C'mon, I want to show you what I am making as well and you are not making it easy to fix." She said to which he sighed.

He wanted to say no, to argue against even the sheer idea… But part of him had to admit she had him tempted to a degree and part of him found it far too odd and tempting to not agree.

"Fine… What is it you want to make? Tell me, I will put the circuit on hold for NOW. for NOW, Mei. I do not want to try and fix it unless you are telling me it can be fixed for good." He said before crossing his arms.

Hikaru felt himself being pulled with a strength that he was still impressed repeatedly. Mei giggled, leaning up to look him in the eye despite being a few feet taller. It almost felt like he was looking at a pink-haired shark.

Her smile reminded him of one at least, something he did not know if it was good or bad at all when it came down to it.

"You know, even if you are so eager to fix stuff? It would not hurt to fix something yourself, would it? you do not like fixing something that you do not own yet without knowing how it ticks, do you? You do not like not understanding it all and fixing it properly, no?" Mei asked as he sighed.

"Yes. You are right about that… Why does this involve me, still? I do not at all know what you wish to do and I do not know why you keep taking the circuit away." He said to which she smirked.

He knew the smirk and knew what she was doing. She wanted to rile him up entirely. It was so easy to figure out that it honestly hurt more and more, something impossible to deal with all as of now, something he had to relax for now as she looked downwards.

How much could she relax for now as she seemed to find it over and over as of now? He was not too much of a warrior, he was not someone who had been perhaps thinking about it when it came down to it.

Hikaru was perhaps thrown off, unsure and uncertain but he was wrapped around her little finger.

He sighed and allowed the woman, probably out of her mind when it came down to it. They had a lot more to try and figure out and he trusted her magical mind to a degree.

What had become of it all, they had a lot more to try and figure out for now again and again until it broke into pieces, until the sun shone no more upon the battlefield which they had constructed.

What else had happened? What had transpired to leave them in such a condition? One which had not been able to relax.

"Uh, huh!" Mei said, giggling as she tapped him on the nose, unsure and uncertain for now. "I am not giving it to you until I manage to relax and trust me… See the coupling? You did not wire that right either, the power is leaking out of it, and if you try and fix it? Everything explodes!" Mei shouted as Hikaru could only sigh for now

"You are entirely sure about that? That every single little detail of that machinery has told you with perfect certainty that if you have been telling me." Mei heard as she sighed and nodded.

She knew very well he was playing with her… Why? The knowing smirk upon his face told her that the game had not yet been done, that whatever had been gifted had not yet ended.

She did not fault him, there was just too much upon the mind, something he could and would not wish to focus upon… Not yet, not when it had been dealt a hand that neither wished for nor was acted upon.

He sighed and gripped her playfully, unsure of what to try and figure out for now. He was still amused, for now, a lot more unsure and uncertain of everything about it.

It had been fun; he had known it had been fun and he had little to no regrets about it all now when it came down to it. He could tell she was not exactly pushing him up a wall now.

"Hmm… I am not done yet; you need to watch. Learning is part of trying to get better, you know. You cannot learn something like that off nothing." Mei said before she looked downwards at the ground as this went onwards.

She was unable to relax for now for a few seconds as she looked downwards. He sighed and knew she was playing with him as well but it was not like he was playing second fiddle to anyone anytime soon.

No, for that to happen? He would need to not be going insane for now and for later again and again.

If her insane fantasy was to try and rush him around for now? he would keep the game going, it was not like he was allowed a choice for now, something that had to keep going onwards and onwards for now.

"You are going to drive me up a wall, lady… I hope you… No, you want to." Hikaru said as he sighed and rubbed at his metallic temples.

He had spent so much time trying to figure it all out, problematic to his plight for now, a desire to keep pushing him once more.

"Are you going to be, ok?" She asked as Hikaru sighed and looked downwards at the ground.

"Peacey, just not used to having a partner for it. most people do not like my cybernetics when it comes down to it." He said as he hummed once more, a desire to try and force her to back down.

She did not at all know what to say or do. She could tell that he was honestly thrown off when it came down to it… A desire to be superior, she feared him as much as anything as of now.

She could tell that he did not want to bother anyone. He was more uncomfortable around her than she was with him. She was not stupid, partly because it was probably how people saw her and partly because it came down to whom was to be fought next.

"Are you scared of me?" Hikaru heard to which he shook his head.

"I find you to be odd and energetic for a research hero at the school and your interest in my cybernetics to be rather off-putting, but it's something I'd rather take if it comes down to it," Hikaru said as he sighed.

"There's a lot more to work than looks, though… Something that honestly bugs me." Hikaru stated as he hummed once more,

"I'm just curious how you managed to become a cyborg… Quirks like that are rare and usually change someone." Mei said as Hikaru hummed.

"Like your optical quirk?" Hikaru asked to which she went to speak. "Your eyes are shaped like crosshairs and you have goggles that are shaped for them. I took a 50% guess your eyes were modified for you." Hikaru said as she blinked.

"You're that good at understanding quirks?" She asked to which he shook his head.

"It was a guess and the only way I confirmed it was your reaction. The surprise and shock on your face confirmed the guess that I did not know which is how I know I was correct." Hikaru stated to which he only paused to look downwards at the ground.

He was utterly thrown as he hummed once more. There was a lot more to see and do, a lot more he could not figure out as he hummed.

There was more and more silence as she knew she could not fault him for how he felt. Things would probably be much stranger than they were for now, it was a living obviously for Hikaru which bothered her far more than possible.

"I am when it comes to trying to understand how to read people… You are not the first Cyborg I have seen, just the first one that is odder and odder." Mei stated before she hummed and looked downwards at the ground, something about it about all for now.

"There's a lot of things I don't know but I do know that you're not the oddest thing I've ever seen." Mei heard as she hummed yet looked downwards at the ground.

She sighed as she tried to peek over his shoulders only to be met by nothing at the end of the day. She fell silent as she knew at least some of it was bugging him, she was not at all stupid enough to believe these would matter.

"I am not mad about that, just more worried I am going to hurt you… There are a lot of things I do not know and it bothers me for now." Hikaru stated as he looked downwards at the ground, silent in how best to handle it.

She leaned over him, looking downwards at the ground as she wrapped her arms around him and forced the lumbering cyborg to look at her as she hummed and raised an eyebrow, silent now on how it should matter.

She could tell that his heart was in the right place as she gently gripped his hands and pulled him towards the table, interested in what to say and do next. Did she know more and more that whatever would continue to happen? It would happen either way.

She sighed as she looked at the table, clearly understanding what needed to happen and the need for it to happen anyway.

"I am… I am curious what you are if that makes sense, there are a lot of ideas I got in my head and I want to try and tell you that when it came down to it again and again? I want to know more about you." Mei stated as she looked downwards.

She knew more and more that as he awkwardly looked downwards at the ground, something upon which she would need to keep looking for what to say next. She could not allow them to end on a sour note.

She hummed and gently guided his hands to the metallic device and gently turned it over, looking at it with interest as if it was a doll within her hands once more.

"You like making stuff, right? How about this? You help it grow more and more? And I will try and help you? Fix something good up with you? We are a team, right? Teams are better when they are on the same side." Mei stated before she looked downwards at the ground.

She yawned once more as she yawned and then fell silent, utterly amused more and more. He could not for the life of him, a desire to try and learn, to be beyond even this and she knew it, she looked at him with interest.

He felt less like a machine that she was studying and like a piece of meat that she had not managed to reconcile for now, it would have been better dealt with in its way for now.

She looked downwards at the ground, unsure and unable to relax, something that she could deal with for now.

She would not be dealt with for now… This was not going to be dealt with.

Hikaru looked at her only for a slight tug, a weight to which and a mannerism of which they could not deal with… He found himself a centimeter from her nose, his lips pursed over hers as she sighed before she slowly started to hum.

"You ok. There are a lot of things that I cannot deal with… But I will relax… Not when I have so many real measures of mercy to deal with." Mei stated before she hummed to herself.

"I do not know what I want for now… Not at all… This was not going to be something I deal with for now." Mei stated before she turned to look to the side.

"There are a lot of things that I am not good at dealing with… But this?" Hikaru stated before Mei hummed.

She paused, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked to the ground, this would not be dealt with, something that could not be personally dealt with.

She still smiled, unsure and incapable of dealing with it for now in ways that he could not relax upon it all for now, a measure of his mercy that he would not dare deal with it in the interim.

It was better they did not for now, knowing that she could and would be able to relax around him, perhaps an idea of something she did not know, perhaps a legion of soldiers that she could deal with for now.

She would need to keep cutting, looking at him. She crossed her arms, utterly unable to try and figure out something. She was not going to cut a rug and yet? Hikaru looked at her, guessing, hoping perhaps unable to relax.

She would not be able to try and figure something out at the end of the day. This was not going to undo what would be done at the time.

This was not going to be something to be dealt with for now and would not be able to relax… Not something that was able to try and figure all out as of now.

He looked at her before pausing to try and figure something out, knowing what would be dealt with when push came to an end, it was nice but it was going to be a measure they could properly deal with in waves and droves.

They were not able to relax but she was able to cut through the noise in its way as of now.

It felt like Hikaru was dragged through ice and then punched into the steaming fire. He did not know what it was but it all seemed to cut deeper and deeper into him, too preoccupied with it all to do much.

Mei seemed almost tired, too worn down from her project to deal with this. She felt like she was trying to mold clay as her fingers danced over her work and his. Hikaru who was pressed to the table by the girl could only sigh as she rested her head atop his to work, more and more.

He could only roll his eyes, too interested in himself and her to do something about it. he looked ready to speak but seemed to hush his mind, too tired, too exhausted to say much.

"You are skilled as an inventor," Hikaru stated to which the girl smiled.

"I take a lot of pride in my skill," Mei stated as Hikaru hummed.

"I can respect that if only by a bit." Mei heard to which she looked down at the ground.

"A bit?" Mei asked as Hikaru turned, looking at her as she lowered her head from his.

"I am sorry I take my work so seriously… It is less often, almost unheard of to have done something to deal with it for now." Mei heard as she paused.

"Hmm," Mei stated as she hummed, delicately practicing her work.

She respected the idea of someone being talented at their craft and willing to do what they had to do… They were waiting to end it and end it they would… Even then? Even at the end of the day? it would work, it had to have worked out or else it would be for nothing.

It worked out and worked out well, even when one was trying to force something? She knew that at the end of the day? She was a hero and so was he now, they simply tried to do things in differing ways. It was hard to possibly deal with but she knew him and knew that he was simply a small part of what had been done to this world.

She could not blame him, not at all. No, she instead actually admired Hikaru in her ways. She could see he had wanted to help, that he had been in his ways different enough to respect. It was not exactly something she could frown upon knowing what it was like at the end of the day.

This idea was many things but it had helped enough that he could respect it and that was good enough for him now and for good reason.
