Hello everyone, we are ready to continue the story! Not much to say this time, so buckle up!
Sunday the 13th, 11:58 P.M. 1988
Chica's POV
"That's it! Let's get out of here now. Night guard is already here and that means we spent too much time fuckin around" the engineer states. He closes up my chest and turns to his co-worker standing behind him off the stage.
"Yeah it all looks good, let's get going" the technologist nods. The engineer turns their back to me and steps off the stage.
"Man those new ones they got comin look so cheap" The engineer chuckles.
"Yeah I think they cut some cost on the shell material. It's pretty flimsy plastic on those new ones" the technologist adds. They both laugh about it, and leave out the front door before locking it behind them.
"Did you guys hear that?" I exclaim. My eyes shoot to my band members who don't look nearly as excited as I am.
"Yeah, sounds like we are getting replaced" Freddy sighs.
"Oh don't think so negatively Freddy. They wouldn't keep us around and service us if the plan was to replace us" I reply. I look to Parts and Service and run over to see Foxy.
"Hey, you be careful with him!" Bonnie calls out. Bonnie's voice quickly fades as I open the door and peer inside.
"Foxy?" I call out. As the door creaks open, the light from the main dining area shines in letting me see. Laying against the table was the crimson fox, with his head down as if he was resting. I received no reply from him. I flick the light switch on for the room and the weak bulb illuminates the room further, with the solid gray concrete beneath my feet and the white walls surrounding me. I approach Foxy and sit down beside him, resting my head on his shoulder.
"Is it time already?" I hear Foxy mumble. I raise my head, and his head stays lowered. I lift his chin and meet his eye with mine, giving him a warm smile.
"Yup. Everyone is gone for the day" I say with glee. Foxy lets out a yawn, raising his arms above his head. This is clearly just for effect since we don't physically breathe, but then his left arm comes down and wraps around me. My face warms up, and I can feel myself getting anxious. Is he making a move on me?
"So, what's the plan tonight?" Foxy smiles.
"Well I uh-" My voice trails off. All I can think about is his arm around me, and how fuzzy it's making me feel. I look away from him and stare at the ground, trying to compose myself. I stand up, letting his arm roll off of me.
"Well?" He asks.
"I-uh..Need to go to the bathroom!" I exclaim before quickly leaving the room. I fast walk to the bathroom past Freddy and Bonnie, who give worried glances.
"Are you alright Chica?" Freddy questions.
"Yeah! Yup I am…Great actually. Gotta go to the bathroom" I answer as I quickly pass them. I reach the ladies bathroom and let out a small gitty squeal. Am I acting weird? No, I can't be.. Right? This is normal, completely normal to get this excited. I stare at myself in the mirror for a moment, calming myself down. Does he like me too? Or am I just assuming there's something when there really isn't? My mind races thinking about Foxy, but all my thoughts are interrupted by some commotion outside the restrooms. I relax, and take a deep breath before walking out.
"What did you do?" Freddy booms.
"What are you on about? I didn't do anything!" Foxy exclaims.
"Bruv, did you not see what you did to her?" Bonnie adds.
"Like I said, I don't know what you guys are talking about. All I did was ask her what the plan for tonight was!" Foxy pleads. A spike of embarrassment overwhelms me. Bonnie and Freddy assume Foxy did something because of how I darted out of Parts and Service. I let out a sigh, and approach the group.
"Settle down boys" I exhale. "Foxy didn't do anything, I just felt embarrassed because I had something on my face. I went to the bathroom to clean it off"
"But you-" Foxy starts. I glare at him, he knows I'm lying. It was only moments ago now we were mere inches from each other's faces. Oh god, we were so close to each other. I hope he didn't think I was trying to kiss him.. Or was he trying to kiss me? I shake my head at my own thoughts, clearly I'm just overthinking.
"That's all it was?" Freddy questions.
"Yes, I swear," I answered. Freddy takes a step back, and I am now just noticing he was mere inches from flattening Foxy. Bonnie standing off to Freddy's right side backs himself up, although Bonnie is probably the least threatening person in the building next to the night guard.
"Well, glad we cleared that up" Foxy sighs. He turns to face me, and then nods in the direction of the tables. I nod in agreement and walk with him to the farthest table from Freddy and Bonnie.
"Sorry about all that" I nervously laugh. I pull the chair out and sit down across from Foxy.
"Don't sweat it, those two probably won't ever warm up to me again" Foxy replies.
"Yeah, they've been on your case quite a lot huh?"
"Indeed, and it irks me but nothing I can really do about it so"
We both fall silent. I wish we were still in Parts and Service, and that I didn't run away because of my feelings. I clasp my hands together and let out a long exhale.
"Mind if I ask you a question?" Foxy asks.
"Oh- Of course not. Go ahead"
"Why DID you run off? I saw your face, and I definitely would have noticed something on it besides your smile"
I start to blush, my face heating up quickly. He is DEFINITELY flirting with me. "Well truthfully," I debate on if I should actually reveal my feelings or not. What if he doesn't share the same feelings as me?
"Oh spit it out already," Foxy laughs.
"Look, I ran out because I got nervous, okay?" I answer. Foxy shows me a puzzled look.
"Okay, why?"
"We just haven't talked much in a long time and it got me nervous. We don't know each other super well" I lie.
"Well, How about we change that?" Foxy states. I glance down to the table to break eye contact.
"Sure, uhm…How?" I ask.
"Well, tell me about yourself, and I will tell you about me of course" he laughs.
"Okay uhm" I take a moment to think about it. "Well I really like pizza, specifically pepperoni. My favorite color is pink, and I wanna see the beach someday" I express. Foxy takes a minute and nods.
"The beach huh?" He asks.
"Yeah, I know it's a bit silly since I'm a big robot but..I'd love to just SEE the ocean. There is so much more beyond this place and we have no idea what's even out there" I inform.
"True, and hopefully I can see it all with you" Foxy flirts. If he's trying, he really isn't good at disguising it. I let out a slight giggle at him.
"Very cute Foxy, but what about you?" I ask.
"Well" He sighs. A moment passes before he continues "I kind of want to see what would happen if people accepted us"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I wish I didn't have to be this static robot on the outside to humans. I want to show them there is more to me than what they have seen, " he explains. "Oh and I like looking at the stars, and my favorite color is brown," he adds with a laugh.
"Wow you got a lot to unpack here" I laugh.
"Yeah, I know. I guess I gave a bit of a loaded response huh?" He giggles. I nod to him "Yeah my bad"
"No no no, no need to say that. I think it's interesting. You are a lot more than just a pirate fox who sings sea shanties"
"Indeed, and it's not something most people get to see from me," He adds.
"So, you explained a bit about your first idea there, but I'm intrigued by the stars part of it all" I say.
"Oh?" Foxy perks up. "What about it?"
"Well, I also like looking at the stars" I say. Foxy grows a wide smile, before standing up from the table.
"You do huh?"
"Yeah, i'm just really enamored with them"
Foxy grabs my hand, pulling me up from my seat.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Come look with me" He answers.
He leads me to the glass front of the building. A huge empty parking lot, with a long driveway to an empty road. Everything has a white glow casted over it, and looking up shows a bright glowing moon. Stars dot the sky, giving the moon plenty of friends to keep him company.
"Wow" I let out. I've looked out this window many times before, but this time feels different. I smile, staring at the night sky with wonder.
"Chica?" Foxy pipes up.
"Yeah?"
"What do you think about running away?"
My hand grips his tightly, and our fingers intertwine. I turn to look at him, and his face is glowing from the light being casted from the moon. My heart flutters by his question, and I'm taken back by the idea.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I mean you and me get away from this place. Let's go see the world for what it is while we can" Foxy answers, his gaze still fixated on the night sky.
"I mean I'd love too but there's so many prob-" His other hand reaches up and presses against my beak, silencing me. We lock eyes, and for once I see who he truly is. Foxy isn't a murderer, he's a simple man who's made mistakes.
"I know, I just wish It didn't have to be so hard for us" He adds.
"Oh Foxy.." I mutter.
Foxy lets go of my hands, and clasps his skull. "Argh" He whimpers.
"Are you okay Foxy? Is it happening again?" I quickly ask. Panic begins to rise inside of me.
"I-I can't think" He stutters. Foxy staggers back from the glass and with it the glow fades from his face. His hands now cover his face, and he shakes his head.
"Foxy, how do I help?" I plead for answers.
"I just, I can't fight it!" Foxy screams. Behind him both Freddy and Bonnie spring up.
"Foxy please," I call out. Foxy turns around, locking eyes with the security camera glowing bright red.
"You" He mutters. Foxy sprints away, and books it down the hallway.
"He's going for the night guard!" Freddy shouts. Both Bonnie and Freddy sprint in Foxy's direction, giving chase to the crazed animatronic.
"Wait!" I call out. I follow behind and peer down the hallway. Foxy is holding the security room door open as it attempts to slam shut on him. Screams from a terrified night guard ring out throughout the building.
"No you don't!" Freddy exclaims. Freddy grabs Foxy from behind and rips him out of the doorframe. The security door slams shut, protecting the night guard.
"NO!" Foxy screams with rage. His jaw now snapping at Freddy.
"Foxy!" Freddy calls out, but no response comes from the bloodthirsty fox. Foxy's jaw clamps down on Freddy's forearm, and Freddy lets out a groan of pain.
"No Freddy don't!" I cry. I watch as Freddy with his free hand grabs Foxy's lower jaw. With just his one hand, he pulls down on Foxy's jaw, and frees his other friend.
"This ends now!" Freddy exclaims. With both hands now freed, he grabs each side of Foxy's jaw. Slowly and forcefully separating them.
"Freddy, you're going to kill him!" Bonnie shouts.
"And what the fuck are you going to do about it!" Freddy snaps back. "Watch him kill the night guard? Watch him kill me or Chica?" Bonnie concedes the argument with him.
"Bonnie, don't just let him kill Foxy!?" I plead.
"He's…He's right Chica" Bonnie drops his head. "Foxy clearly hasn't changed"
"Please, I swear he has! Give him another ch-" My words are cut off by an audible snap. Metal rubbing against metal, finally reaching its breaking point. My eyes look to Freddy, who now holds Foxy's entire lower jaw in his hand. Foxy squirms on the ground in pain, spewing out fluids. Freddy sits on top of him, keeping him immobile even in his last moments. Minutes go by before his body goes completely limp. Foxy lays on the ground, motionless.
"Chica, you knew him best. Clean this mess up" Freddy exhales as he stands up from the dead body. I stand, motionless. "Did I stutter? Go on, before you end up like him too" Freddy threatens. I quickly rush to Foxy's side, and both Freddy and Bonnie leave me to his corpse.
"No no no please" I plead. My hands fall to his face, lifting his head up to see into his eye.
Nothing.
Foxy's eye is dim and lifeless. Tears begin to fall down my face, and my head falls onto his chest. I sob into his fur, wrapping my arms around his body.
"Not like this" I cry. His fur begins to dampen with the pool of tears puddling on his body. I pull back, lifting my head. I look down to his chest, examining the mess I'm making. My tears blend with his fluids as they dirty him.
Wait…I can cry?
How?
I've never been able, and I shouldn't be able too.
I stare at his wet chest, confused. One phrase rings in my head as I continue to cry.
The. Box. Beacons.
There you go! This chapter was FUCKING HUGE! I hope you enjoyed it. This one is just, wow. It was a long one, and I am happy with how it turned out. You can see we uh, won't be having any Foxy POV's anymore. Trust me, things get a lot more wild, but until next time everyone. Seeya!
