Hello readers!
As you can tell, this is not a new chapter. It's another author's note – I'm sorry about that.
If you remember from a while back – approximately three years ago and my how times flies – I posted an update discussing about the possibility of rewriting the entire story about Edmund and Alaura. It was a thought that never left me, in fact, I was deliberating how to rewrite the story. I guess my perfectionist side made things overwhelming and I was stumped, for a long time, on how exactly I wanted the rewrite to go.
As it turns out, the answer wasn't all that complicated. Once I stopped over lubricating the mechanics, the gears started turning again. It was an absolute relief to finally get the answers I needed. All that was left was a sprinkle of motivation and a dusting of inspiration – luckily that didn't take half as long.
So, I am here to finally announce the rewritten version of Edmund and Alaura's story. The rewritten version is called Eonian and there are, at the time this is posted, three parts uploaded – yes, it's out now!
Here is just a brief taste of the opening excerpt:
Eonian – 1.0 Eunoia
(n.) beautiful thinking; a well mind
Him
He never gave a second thought to a ridiculous, abstract concept such as hope., in fact, he believed himself to be impervious to it. And having held a natural disdain to it, made matters in life quite simple – and peaceful, he'd like to say. To bet life's whims on a belief – no – a feeling, is person who foolishlythrew caution and logic to the wind and decided to walk through life with nothing but blindfold on.
It was her – pause – she, in every sense, should be his enemy. But all the makings of a villain vanished when he looked at her. The sun could dip and rise from the ocean lining countless times and she'll still be there. The last iridescent ray of light of the day or the first peak of sunlight after nightfall, she burned an eternal flame in his heart simply because she loved him.
Thank you all who always supported "Bad Boy" and "Blinded" and have patiently waited for the rewritten version. I hope the rewritten version does you justice.
