Author's notes: I'm sorry about the long wait. A lot of things have been happening irl and it's been kinda stressful, so I haven't felt like doing any work on this story. Things are starting to settle down now, but I probably still won't be making chapters very often for the time being.

Also, I found some errors in the previous chapters and went and fixed them. Mostly just typos and grammar mistakes, but there was a big one in Chapter 13 where I had Aaron ask if Geo was going to school twice.

blazenight01: Unfortunately, I won't be able to do a version of this for the anime, as I haven't really watched a lot of it, and even from the stuff I have seen, it would be far too difficult for me to change its events to make Luna the protag instead of Geo. However, I was planning on doing Star Force 2 and Star Force 3 Arks anyway, but I need to finish the Star Force 1 Ark first.

Star Force Ark, Chapter 15: The Tour Begins

A couple hours after departing from Echo Ridge, the bus that Geo and Luna boarded finally drove up to AMAKEN's front gate, where the duo noticed Aaron waiting for them. Noticing the two disembark, Aaron waved to them.

"Hey, you came!", Aaron said, catching their attention.

"Hello, Mr. Boreal!", Luna replied as she ran up to him.

"Hey.", Geo said as he walked up next to Luna.

"This is my research lab, the Aerospace and Modern Astronomy Knowledge Expansion Nexus.", Aaron began, "Or just 'AMAKEN' to keep it short. Not to brag or anything, but we've got pretty good equipment here. People hear that the general public can study here, too, so we've got a good name going for ourselves."

"Wow, that's pretty neat.", Luna said.

Hearing this, Aaron gave a short laugh. "Well, are you two ready for a tour?", he asked. Before anyone could answer, they heard a car horn and turned to see another bus drive up.

"Does AMAKEN usually get so much traffic?", Luna asked.

"Not normally.", Aaron replied, "But since today's a holiday, I asked for a few more buses than usual, since there'll be more people coming today." He then gave another short laugh before he continued. "My lab is pretty popular as of late." Before Luna or Geo could respond, they both noticed who was departing from the newly arrived bus.

"Zack?!", Luna asked, surprised, "And Bud, too?! What are you two doing here?!"

"We-", Bud began.

"Isn't it obvious?", Zack said, cutting Bud off, "I came here to study, and Bud came along because he had nothing better to do."

"R-Right.", Bud said nervously, "I-It ain't like we were following you on your date or anything." This earned him a hard glare from Zack, which only made him more nervous.

After processing what she just heard, Luna's face instantly turned red with embarrassment. "D-D-D-Date?!", she screamed out, catching everyone else off guard, "Th-This isn't a date! Just where in the heck did you get that idea?!"

"L-Luna, calm down!", Geo began, "They probably saw us get on the other bus and misunderstood the situation."

"R-Right!", Zack said, not wanting to admit to eavesdropping earlier, "We just barely missed the first bus after we saw you boarding it."

Taking a deep breath, Luna gave a sigh as she calmed herself. "Alright, fine.", she said before turning to Aaron, "I'm really sorry about my friends here, Mr. Boreal."

"It's alright, Luna.", Aaron said before looking at Zack and Bud, "Since you're here, would you like to join the tour as well?"

"S-Sounds good to me.", Zack said before looking at Bud, "C'mon, Bud, let's join them."

"R-Right.", Bud replied before he and Zack walked up to Geo and Luna.

"Well, let's be off then, shall we?", Aaron said before walking through the front gate, with the group following close behind him. After everyone passed through, Aaron turned to the group. "Before we go inside the main building, why don't you guys look around for a bit?" Giving a nod, both Zack and Bud walked off, checking out some of the machines on the path. "Geo, can I have a moment?", Aaron asked just as Geo and Luna were about to join the other two, catching their attention.

"What is it, Mr. Boreal?", Geo asked.

"Do you know what this tower is?", Aaron asked as he turned toward the fenced-off tower sitting behind him, "I created this special radio tower... to search for your father." This surprised both Geo and Luna, the latter of whom looked at Geo without saying a word.

"To search for my dad?!", Geo asked in surprise.

"This tower is sending a signal out into space.", Aaron began, causing Luna to look back at him, "I keep hoping Kelvin will pick it up, wherever he may be."

"C-Can you find him?", Geo asked.

"It may take a while, but I'm not giving up!", Aaron replied, "One day, I'm going to have some good news for you and your mother! You wait and see!" Turning back, Aaron noticed that Luna was still standing next to Geo, to his surprise, "O-Oh, Luna, I thought you would've joined your friends." Scratching his head, Aaron gave a nervous laugh.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to-", Luna began.

"N-No, it's alright...", Geo said, "It's not exactly a secret or anything..." Luna grabbed the back of her neck as she looked away, not sure of what to say.

"W-Well, let's keep going with the tour.", Aaron said, "You still have the main building to see!"

"R-Right.", both Geo and Luna said together, catching each other off guard for a moment before the three of them went off to join up with Zack and Bud.
