Meanwhile down at the Cerulean Docks, Ash's friends were becoming more and more hopeless. So far no help had come.
"How long have we been stuck here?" Meowth asked.
"For nearly a month." Ritchie replied.
"I hope help comes for us soon." Jessie said.
"Me too Jessie, me too." James agreed.
Max then noticed something.
"Hey Crankle's stopped moving her crane." He said, "I wonder what's going on."
"You're right Max!" Said Bonnie. "And look, all the villains are lined up waiting for Miltank Milk."
"Come on! Come on!" Said Maxie. "What's going on up there?"
One of the men stuck his head out of the window of Crankle's crane. "I don't know." He said. "Crankle ain't corporating! Come on Crankle! Get your crane working!"
"No way!" Said Crankle.
"Lately!" Said Crankle. "I've been noticing how you and your villains have been- well, ever so slightly putting criticisms into your frases! At least the ones you say to me."
"Nonsense!" Said the bald man inside. "We're perfectly nice to you!" He pulled some random levers, but since Crankle was the only one who knew which levers did what, he didn't know which one was which.
Instead of doing what the man wanted Crankle took control and made her crane swung its arm around and dropped its hook unhelpfully right next to Bolster's Barge.
"Why I otta! Why won't you cooperate with us!"
"I just told you!" Said Crankle. "I will not move my crane again!"
"Fine!" Said the bald man, the man climbed down.
After making a call on his cellphone, and waiting a few minutes the man saw Boomer's motorcycle coming. Boomer was onboard. The man went on over and talked to Boomer. Boomer nodded and then he drove away.
The man walked over to where Crankle's crane hook was, he grabbed it and attached it to Bolster's Barge, then he climbed into Bolster's Barge's cabin to tell Bolster.
"What are you doing?" Said Crankle.
She soon found out. Bolster began backing his barge out to sea, pulling the hook with it, the hook in turn pulled Crankle's Crane cable, which pulled her Crane's crane arm, which pulled her Crane. Crankle gasped as her crane began to tip.
"No! Wait! Stop!" She said. "Seriously! I'll help you! I promise!"
But suddenly with a splash, Crankle and her crane fell into the sea, and began to sink, but luckily Crankle had spare scuba gear and an air tank with her.
The Trainers and even the Villains were horrified.
"Oh my Clampearl!" Cried Max.
"Such a Shellos!" Cried Selena.
"Coffee and Pokémon Doughnuts." Said Charles Goodshow. "Wait a minute, are we describing things that go well together, or did something happen back there that I just didn't see?"
No one responded.
