Chapter 10
Nathan, Dean, and Sam took their place and waited for Breeze to join them. She nodded to Ledge to change the music to alert Cooper and Storm that they were ready. A soft melody began to play filling the room with the music. Storm didn't want the traditional music and picked this song instead.
"My love
There's only you in my life
The only thing that's bright
My first love
You're every breath that I take
You're every step I make
And I (I-I-I)
I want to share
All my love with you
No one else will do
And your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes
They tell me how much you care
Oh yes, you will always be
My endless love…"
Cooper slowly walked in with Storm on his arm and smiled at all the ones standing for them. They walked to the front where Dean and the others were waiting and stopped. Cooper leaned down and whispered into his daughter's ear before kissing her on the cheek and putting her hand into Dean's giving him a 'you better take care of my daughter' look. He moved to the front row and waited.
Dean and Storm gazed lovingly at each other as the music continued to play. Storm blinked back the tears as she listened to the words and never thought she could feel this happy and loved. She mouthed 'I love you' to Dean who gave her his award-winning smile and did the same.
"Two hearts
Two hearts that beat as one
Our lives have just begun
Forever (ooh)
I'll hold you close in my arms
I can't resist your charms
And love
Oh, love
I'll be a fool
For you
I'm sure
You know I don't mind
Oh, you know I don't mind
'Cause you
You mean the world to me
Oh
I know
I know
I've found in you (I've found in you)
My endless love…"
They waited for Ledge to turn off the music and the others to take a seat before Nathan started the ceremony. There were cameras set up taping the ceremony from two different angles that Ledge had turned on before they started. Storm decided the videos would work instead of taking pictures afterwards. Ledge was going to get some of them cutting the cake and the reception.
Storm tried to keep from crying as she looked at Dean and smiled brightly. Breeze had pulled her hair up on her head with a hair clasp that belonged to Storm's mother. Strands hung, framing her face in soft curls. Dean smiled back at her, thinking he was the luckiest man alive.
"Friends and family, we are gathered here today to unite Dean and Storm in holy matrimony. It is my honor to conduct this ceremony today. I have known Storm since she was a child and her father even longer." Nathan spoke in a deep, strong voice. "Looking at these two individuals, I can see the love they have for one another. If there is anyone here who thinks these two should not be wed, let them speak now or forever hold their peace." Nathan paused for a moment before continuing. "The couple have written their own vows, so Storm if you'd like to start," Nathan spoke to Dean and Storm.
"Okay," Storm started looking up into Dean's eyes. "Dean, with my whole heart, I take you as my husband acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths as you do mine. I vow to have patience that love demands. I will dream with you, celebrate with you, and walk beside you through whatever our lives together may bring. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love the way you look at me with your gorgeous green eyes and can see the love in them. I pledge my love, devotion, friendship, and honor as I join my life with yours. I love you with every cell in my body. There is no me without you. I love…You Babe." Storm's voice broke on the last few words and tears of happiness ran down her cheeks.
"Dean," Nathan nodded to him when it was his turn.
"I call you 'my girl', Stormy, because you are my everything. You have shown me more love than I've ever known. I will love you, hold you, and honor you. You have the purest heart and the warmest and loving soul. I can't wait to join our lives together as best friends, lovers, partners, and soulmates. You are my shing star in the darkest night. You complete me. With you I can be myself and not hide who I am. You have never tried to change me but accepted me as I am with all my faults. I will cherish you for all the days of my life. You are my soulmate and I love you with every cell in my body. There is no me without you." Dean raised one hand to wipe the tears from her face as he blinked back his own tears.
"The rings please," Nathan requested looking to Sam.
Sam fumbled in his pocket for the rings and placed them on the Bible that Nathan was holding.
"These rings are a symbol of Dean and Storm's love for each other, and I bless them to show their union. If you both will take a ring and place it on the other's finger," he instructed holding the Bible out so they could take the rings.
Dean slipped a ring on Storm's finger, and she slipped one on his finger. They gazed with such love and devotion into each other's eyes as Nathan finished the ceremony.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." Nathan paused as Dean and Storm leaned close and gently kissed, letting their foreheads butt together.
"Everyone, may I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Winchester," Nathan told the group.
Cheers and applause erupted in the room as everyone stood waiting to congratulate the happy couple. Sam and Breeze were first, hugging and offering their best wishes. Dean and Storm stood at the side allowing the rest of the guests file by to speak to them.
"Hello child, I'm Missouri," Missouri spoke to Storm as she clasped her hands. She could feel the deep-seated love Storm had for Dean and could sense something else about her. There was a spark of brightness in her soul that she had never felt before in a human. She wasn't sure what to make of it and wondered who had blessed her with this gift. "I am so happy that Dean found you and you agreed to be his wife. I can see a strong bond between the two of you."
"It good to meet you and thank you for coming," Storm replied clasping her hands tightly and smiling. "I'm so glad he chose my bar on that stormy night."
"I think you make a lovely couple."
"Thanks Missouri," Dean told her getting a hug and kiss on the cheek.
After everyone spoke to the married couple, the food was quickly brought in and set up beside the cake that Breeze had taken out of the box.
"Alright, everyone, we're going to cut the cake and you can help yourselves to the food," Dean told them as he pulled Storm to the table.
"Hold on, let me get set up," Ledge told them as he grabbed a camera and focused on them.
"The sooner we do this, the sooner we can leave and start our honeymoon," Dean whispered in her ear making Storm giggle excitedly. They took a knife and together cut the first slice, placing it on a plate.
Sam laughed and took pictures as Dean and Storm smeared cake over each other's faces. He got Dean licking his fingers and kissing Storm deeply before licking the cake from her lips. Breeze took over when Sam moved to make a toast to the happy couple.
"Everyone, if you'll raise your glass," Sam told them. "To my big brother and his new wife, now my sister-in-law. May their lives be filled with love, happiness, and joy. May they support and care for each other through the good times and the bad and have a long life together. To the happy couple."
"Here, here!" the others toasted, holding their glasses up for a moment before sipping from them.
Ledge put on some music, and everyone served themselves from the selection of finger foods before taking a seat at the tables. Light conversation filled the room as they all enjoyed the food and cake. Dean and Storm had one slow dance and then excused themselves after about thirty minutes so they could head to the cabin for a brief honeymoon. They bid everyone goodbye and headed upstairs to get their bags.
The guests moved outside and threw birdseed as the Impala slowly pulled around the building and headed for the main road. The newly married couple couldn't wait to get to the cabin and enjoy their time together. They planned on getting to know each other all over again and having some mind-blowing sex.
The rest of the guests began to leave about thirty minutes later, and Cooper, Sam, Castiel, and Breeze cleaned the bar and got it ready to open in a few hours.
Sam asked Castiel if he wanted to stay and help them in the bar, and he agreed saying it would be a learning opportunity. He gave the angel some guidelines about how to act with the patrons that would be coming in later that afternoon. He stressed that Castiel shouldn't do anything angel like but figured most of the patrons would be drunk and not notice anyway. The angel assured him he would behave and do as he was told.
No one knew what the future had in store for the Winchesters, but they would meet it head on with their women by their sides. Who knows, there might be another wedding to plan in the near future.
Carry on…
The End
