My One in Seven Billion
Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail. NaLu week, day 4: theme- protect. Sorry I didn't write a FanFic for yesterday's theme, cuddle, but I just didn't get any inspiration with that theme. I'm not even that proud of this FanFic. Well, anyway, since the other NaLu week stories were happy and fluffy, this one's going to be tragic.
XxX
He is my one in seven billion.
He is a goofball. A reckless, dense, goofball.
He challenges random guild members to fight him at random times.
He usually ends up losing.
He knows just what to say when I'm feeling sad.
He brings smiles to all the members of the guild with his bubbly personality.
He is my best friend.
He is the one who brought me to the guild.
He is the one who gave me a real family.
He protects me with all his strength.
He is the one who called me Luigi at first.
He is my happiness.
He could bring the sunshine on a rainy day, just with his smile.
His fire seems to warm the hearts of almost everyone he meets.
He is my teammate.
He could trick me sometimes.
He is the one who destroys towns on a weekly basis.
He doesn't quit until he can't move a muscle.
He is one of the most powerful people I have ever met.
He could eat all the food in a restaurant if he wanted to, down to the last crumb.
He is one of the loudest people I know.
He is the one who could make pink hair look good on a boy.
He is the one with the dragon as a father.
He is the one who gets into fights with Gray every five minutes they are around each other.
He gets furious if someone even scratches his friends, and will beat that person to a pulp.
He has the kindest heart.
He was an idiot. An overprotective, impulsive, idiot.
He was the one who took a shot for me. A shot he knew would kill him.
He was the person I screamed for as he fell to the ground.
He was the one who I held in my arms.
He was the one bleeding out his life before my eyes.
His name was the name I cried out as his body became colder to the touch.
He was the one who told me he loved me as his eyes glazed over and slowly lost their color.
He was the one who I told I loved back.
He was the one who smiled as he touched my face softly, carefully wiping the never-ending tears from my cheek.
He was the one I looked at as I watched the flame of his life gradually grow dimmer.
He was the one I held dearly as his last breath fell upon my face, weak and thin.
His hand on my cheek dropped to the floor.
He was gone.
He was the person who I cradled in my arms as the battle continued around us.
He was the one I ignored everything around me for.
He was the one everyone mourned.
His memories will always remain in my heart.
He was the one I loved so much, but was too stupid to realize it until it was too late.
He was the one who cared for me, more than anyone else did.
He was my dragon.
He was always there.
He would always protect me.
He was my one.
My one in seven billion.
