Chapter 7: The Schuyler Sisters

"I guess we'll just get right into the next video, then."

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): …

"Ugh, it's him again…" A student groaned, getting weird looks due to them acting as if young you-know-who was just a school bully, instead of the mass-murdering psychopath he was.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): There's nothing rich folks love more than going downtown and slummin' it with the poor.

"Wow, is that true, Lucius?" Sirius asked, faking interest and awe. Lucius Malfoy gritted his teeth, "I don't know, why don't you ask your parents, Black?" Sirius' eyes narrowed in distaste, but he backed off as Remus sent him a look.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): They pull up in their carriages and gawk at the students in the common just to watch 'em talk.

"Is that… me?" Amos Diggory practically shouted, scaring his wife sitting next to him. "It sure looks like you, Dad, but why are you holding bags of money?" Cedric asked, staring at the seemingly heavy bags of cash that his father was holding. "I… don't know. I guess me and your mother might be some of the 'rich folks' that Riddle man was talking about."

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Take Amos Diggory, the man is loaded!

"I guess you were right, Dad."

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Uh-oh, but little does he know that his children, Ginny,

"What?!" "Me? I am definitely not the Diggory's daughter! No offense, sir, ma'am," Ginny said, rambling a bit. "None taken, Ms. Weasley, we understand. This is quite a difference. I honestly do not know how I feel about it… it is just very… peculiar," Mrs. Diggory explained, cooling Ginny's nerves.

"Yes, I don't suppose any of my brothers, other than Ron, are also your children in the other universe," Ginny said, thinking about how Ron was already proven to not be related to her, and her parents weren't related to her either. She was starting to see just how different the other universe was.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Draco,

"Oh, my Merlin!" Someone yelled from the audience, and many other people looked at the on-screen Draco in shock. "What… my son…" Lucius Malfoy was by far the person who looked the most shocked out of everyone in the room. "How… can my son be a Diggory?"

"Hahahahaha! Hahaha- Oh, my Merlin! Your face!" Sirius laughed hysterically, not caring that Lucius was looking at him with barely concealed fury in his eyes. "Alright, alright, let's just continue, now."

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Cedric

Many girls in the audience giggled at seeing Cedric, much to the displeasure and irritation of said boy's parents, specifically his father. "At least this time it actually is Mr. Diggory's child," McGonagall said, reminding many people of her presence.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): -sneak into the city just to watch all the guys at-

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): Draco!

"This Draco… is nothing like the Draco we know," Terry Boot said, thinking of how… kind Draco seemed in the other universe compared to how closed off and reserved he was in their universe.

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): Cedric!

When Cedric flashed his charming, shy smile, it caused many people to blush, including Harry. Harry and Blaise just looked at each other, knowingly.

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): And Ginny!

"So embarrassing…" Ginny muttered at seeing the way she took the "camera" from Cedric.

Others (Ensemble): The Diggory children!

"Well, that confirms it. Draco and I really are Cedric's siblings in the other universe," Ginny said, a thoughtful look on her face.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): Draco!

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): Ginny!

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): Cedric!

"Such siblingly love!" Seamus said dramatically, getting an eye roll from Dean. "I think having siblings does some good to you, Malfoy," Ron said, looking at how the on-screen Draco was acting with his little sister.

Others (Ensemble): Work!

"Oof!" Someone yelled from the audience, getting laughs from the younger muggle-borns and half-bloods.

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): Daddy said to be home by sundown.

"That seems reasonable," Amos muttered, getting an annoyed look from his son. "Is this why you wouldn't let me go out to Hannah's party that year?" Cedric asked, getting a sheepish look from his Dad in return, "Let's just continue watching, son."

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): Daddy doesn't need to know.

Neville shivered at seeing the mischievous glint in Draco's eyes and in his smirk, "So creepy…"

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): Daddy said not to go downtown!

"Way to be a party pooper…" Ron muttered, thinking back to when they were younger and Ginny used to be the one who would ratt him and his brothers out when they were doing something wrong to their parents. Ginny just slapped her brother on the back of his head, getting groans from Ron.

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): Like I said, you're free to go.

"Cedric, I do hope you do not disobey me and your father in this universe as you seem to be doing in the other universe," Mrs. Diggory said, amusement clear on her face, "Yes?" "Of course, Mom," Cedric said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): But look around, look around! The revolution's happening in New York!

'He actually looks kind of cute like that…' Someone thought, a small smile on their face.

Cedric Diggory and Ginny Weasley (Eliza Schuyler and Peggy Schuyler): New York!

Others (Ensemble): Draco!

"I guess Draco is the leader out of you three in the other universe, even though Cedric is the oldest of you three," Luna said, her head tilting in question. "Hmm…"

Ginny Weasley, Cedric Diggory, Draco Malfoy, and Others (Peggy Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, Angelica Schuyler, and Ensemble): Work!

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): It's bad enough Daddy wants to go to war.

"War? So the situation is that bad that war is a possibility?" Hermione asked, now becoming more serious about what could happen in the other universe's future.

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): People shouting in the square!

"That doesn't seem to be too violent of a protest, at least," Tonks said, thinking of what she had seen and studied as an Auror-in-training and now an Auror.

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): It's bad enough there'll be violence on our shore.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): New ideas in the air!

"Don't look so desperate to get out, Ginny!" Fred and George said, laughing.

Draco Malfoy and Male Others (Angelica Schuyler and Male Ensemble): Look around, look around.

"Draco is definitely a lot more… excitable, in the other universe," Harry whispered to Blaise, getting a small nod in agreement.

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): Draco, remind me what we're looking for…

"Oh, Merlin's beard…" Cedric groaned, holding his hands over his eyes and face to hide his embarrassed blushing at seeing the obvious way he was trying to clue Draco into what he was insinuating.

Male Others (Male Ensemble): He's lookin' for me!

"Ron! Fleur!" Bill said, gasping at how blunt they were about their interest in Draco Malfoy. "Why would I… like Draco?" Ron asked, almost shouting, blushing in embarrassment. "I sure wouldn't like a Weasley either, Weasley," Draco said to Ron. This was just one example of how the two typically bickered, so everyone was used to it, even if some of the adults disapproved of it.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): Cedic, I'm lookin' for a mind at work (work).

"I guess me and Ginny don't really know each other in the other universe if that was how she reacted to me," Ron said, thinking about how it could just be about how he acts in general.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): I'm lookin' for a mind at work (work). I'm lookin' for a mind at work (work)!

"Hahaha! Draco's dancing!" A Slytherin called out from where the majority of Draco's friends were sitting, causing them to join in laughing as well.

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): Whoa-ooh, whoa-oh-oh! Whoa-ooh, whoa-oh-oh (work)!

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Whoo! There's nothin' like summer in the city. Someone in a rush next to someone lookin' pretty.

"Wait a minute… was it just me, or did it look like you caught the eye of both Draco and Cedric?" Blaise asked, leaning towards Harry so that no one would be able to hear their conversation. "It's not just you who saw it," Harry said, looking to where Draco and Cedric were sitting to see if he could tell if they noticed it or not. "We'll have to see what happens with that in the future."

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Excuse me, mister, I know it's not funny-

Lucius looked at the man who grabbed his son in disapproval, even though that man technically was the Dark Lord, just younger, he still didn't like the idea of a man touching his child when Draco didn't consent to it.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): -but your perfume smells like your daddy's got money!

"Looks like the 'Diggory Children' are going to gang up on Riddle," Lee Jordan said, chuckling at seeing how deadly and dangerous Cedric and Ginny were, and that Draco had to stop them from doing something to Riddle.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Why you slummin' in the city in your fancy heels? You searchin' for an urchin who can give you ideals?

Lucius clenched his fists, grinding his teeth as Narcissa tried to calm him, reminding him that, as far as they knew, this wasn't happening to Draco in their universe.

"Seriously, this Riddle guy can really be quite the creep."

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): Riddle, you disgust me.

Many people silently cheered Draco on, and many of the teachers and adults in his life were proud of him for sticking up for himself.

Tom Riddle (Aaron Burr): Ah, so you've discussed me. I'm a trust fund, baby, you can trust me!

"Do it! Do it! Do it!" The twins cheered, hoping their sister would be the one to beat young Voldemort up. "Fred, George, don't encourage them!" Molly said, scolding her children.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): I've been reading "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine. So men say that I'm intense or I'm insane.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): You want a revolution? I want a revelation! So listen to my declaration:

Snape looked at his Godson and knew that he no longer was the small little boy who was easily swayed by his father's views and restrictions, now Draco was developing into his own person. And along with that, Snape also knew that Draco was going to start being even more independent from now on.

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): "We hold these truths to be self-evident-

Many of the adults and some of the students looked at Riddle in disapproval, they didn't know how old Tom Riddle was, nor almost anything else about him, but even so, they didn't like the idea of anyone hitting on a child if they themself were an adult.

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): -that all men are created equal"

"That is certainly a good moral to have in life, Mr. Malfoy," McGonagall said, she had many years of experience in teaching and guiding children, and she knew that in almost all cases, she couldn't choose the path her students take or the morals they value in life, but she could encourage them and guide them some to make their own informed decisions.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): And when I meet Percy Weasley,

Ron scoffed, so it seems Percy is still regarded in high esteem. But so far he couldn't tell whether or not Percy deserved it in the other universe like he "deserved it" in this universe.

Others (Ensemble): Unh!

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): I'ma compel him to include women in the sequel!

Many women in the audience cheered, they deserved to be held to the same standard that men were, and deserved the same chances men got. It was very fulfilling to be represented in normal, everyday life, and not just on 'special occasions'. "Go Draco!" Tonks yelled, surprising the young Slytherin.

Female Others (Female Ensemble): Work!

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): Look around, look around, at how lucky we are to be alive right now!

Cedric Diggory and Ginny Weasley (Eliza Schuyler and Peggy Schuyler): Look around, look around, at how lucky we are to be alive right now!

"It's nice to see children so lively and excited about their future," Dumbledore said, whispering to McGonagall and Snape.

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): History is happening in Manhattan and we just happen to be in the greatest city in the world!

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, Ginny Weasley, and Others (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, Peggy Schuyler, and Ensemble): In the greatest city in the world!

Many people in the audience thought of their siblings as they saw the three "Diggory Children" walk around, having fun with each other.

Padma and Parvati Patil grasped each other's hands, thinking of their life before Hogwarts, and how being sorted into different houses affected it. Especially as there weren't many inter-house relationships or places to hang out with people from other houses.

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): 'Cause I've been reading "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine (look around, look around), so men say that I'm intense or I'm insane (the revolution's happening in New York).

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): You want a revolution? I want a revelation (look around, look around, New York)! So listen to my declaration (it's happening): We hold these truths to be self-evident (look around, look around), that all men are created equal (at how lucky we are to be alive right now)!

Female Others (Female Ensemble): Look around, look around, at how lucky we are to be alive right now!

"They seem to be gathering quite a crowd," Pomona Sprout said, seeing how many people were circling around the trio.

Others (Ensemble): History is happening in Manhattan, and we just happen to be in the greatest city in the world (in the greatest city)! In the greatest city in the world!

"Wow, you three are hurting our hearts," Fred and George said, dramatically dapping the corners of their eyes with handkerchiefs, "I can't believe you would call a city in America better than a city in Britain."

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): Draco!

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Cedric Diggory (Eliza Schuyler): Cedric!

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Ginny Weasley (Peggy Schuyler): And Ginny!

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): The Diggory children!

Many people just sighed, they should have expected Ron and Fleur to be dramatic about being rejected. But they also saw that Riddle was joining in their dramatics about being rejected by Draco.

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): We're looking for a mind at work!

Others (Ensemble): Work, work!

Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, and Ginny Weasley (Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, and Peggy Schuyler): Hey! (Work, work!) Hey! (Work, work! Whoa!) Hey! (Work, work!)

Cedric Diggory and Ginny Weasley (Eliza Schuyler and Peggy Schuyler): In the greatest city (Work! Work!)

Draco Malfoy (Angelica Schuyler): In the greatest city in the world…

Others (Ensemble): In the greatest city in the world!

"At least they didn't stay out late anyways…" Amos Diggory said, getting another playful glare from his son.

"So, now we've been introduced to more people in the other universe, do you think the next video will be about Harry again? Or more about the 'Diggory Siblings'?" Hermione asked, getting varied answers from the rest of the people in the room.

"We'll just have to see…"
