Mariner Bay..
"Man its quiet, too quiet". Ryan stated as he and Carter walked the streets in case of a attack. "I hope Hart's okay".
Carter nodded. "She will be, they know what to do. You guys will be okay". Ryan groaned as he rubbed his head. "Ryan?"
Ryan yelled out gripping his head. "Ah!". He fell down. Carter gripped his shoulders. Ryan could see flashes of his sister on a ship. Flashes of her fighting Diabolico. Flashes of her being hit. "Hartley".
"Ryan hey what's wrong? talk to me!". Carter pleaded.
"He can finally see it". They turned and their eyes went wide. "Its time".
"Daku? but how?". Carter asked the Sensei. Ryan shook his head to clear it as Carter helped him up. Sensei Daku took Ryan's wrist where his morpher was.
Ryan blinked as it glowed red. He could feel an immediate warmth through his body. "You titanium ranger are ready. its time". Daku turned around. "That was the other half of my remaning powers, i blessed young Hartley with my remaining ice powers, you guys bonded through blood. Now you have my other half, you were chosen the night i healed you. The loyalty you have to her was overwhelming which is why i chose you to help her and help me by taking my fire powers".
"Daku are you saying i can use fire?" Ryan asked rubbing his chest. The Sensei laughed.
"You my son are not a full ninja but you can use it just focus Ryan and it will fall into place. This is the last time we will meet now go destroy that demon and help young Hartley mend her broken heart". Daku ordered them. With that he vanished. Carter and Ryan shared a glance and sped to Reefside.
Reefside...
"Tommy!" He turned to see Carter and Ryan running. "Whoa, i take it you were bad and now you're in timeout".
"Very funny Ryan". Carter tried to break the ice. "Its no use Hart's the only one who can break it".
"Where is she?". Ryan asked. Tommy nodded his head up to the sky. "She's up there?". He swallowed. "Wait if Hart froze you then maybe". Ryan closed his eyes, when he opened them they had fire in the middle. He grabbed the ice on Tommy's wrists and it melted.
Tommy stumbled forward rubbing his hands. "How'd you do that?". He asked relieved.
"Its a long story right now i need to go help my sister". Ryan told them firmly. Carter and Tommy nodded knowing it was their fight. "Question is how do i get up there?".
Zeltrax's Ship...
"You pathetic human, you call your self a ninja and a ranger your nothing more then a rat". Diabolico taunted as he tossed Hart against a console. Her suit fading.
"Yeah you vowed you would see me burn with my friends yet here i am". She spat trying to get up. "Diabolico you have to remember, you have to remember how you helped us, you still have good in you, please remember".
He just laughed. Hart threw ice daggers towards him but missed hitting a console causing sparks to fly. The ship tilted to the side. "Say goodbye green ranger". He growled advancing towards her with his sword. Hartley raised her hands up for the strike but it never came.
"Get away from her!". She looked up to see her brother in front of her in morph. "I said back off".
"Ryan?". She whispered holding her ribs. He turned and fell to his knees ext to her. "You came but how?"
He helped her up. "I would never leave you, how about we finish this then we can talk". She nodded. They stood side by side. Hart turned her hands into ice daggers. She grinned when Ryan's axe formed flames around the blade."Long story".
Hart ran towards the golden demon. She ducked when he went to slice her but as she dripped to the floor she kicked him causing him to stumble. Ryan did a backflip in the air, He stretched his arm out firing his weapon. He grinned when it shot out red flames causing Diabolico to spark.
"This is your end Diabolico!". Ryan yelled as he kicked from the wall slashing the demon in the chest. Sparks flew all around them and smoke began to surrund the two rangers. Duabolico reached his arm out sending a snake causing it to wrap around Ryan's body and neck.
"Ryan! No!". Hartley yelled as she was blasted into a wall.
"If i am going down you are going down with me rangers". He laughed evily. He turned as he heard a growl.
"Meera?" Hart spoke as the white tiger stood there glowing. Hartley knew what it meant She was ready to embrace her true form. Meera bit off he snake holding Ryan. "Ryan go! get the gems and go".
"What? no! i am not leaving you!". He croaked out as he got to one knee. He jumped when he saw the light is Hart's eyes.
"I'll be right behind you! but please go!". She begged him. She shot a ball of ice at Diabolico giving Ryan to chance to grab the three gems. Ryan stumbled, he slashed the machine that were holding the gems. He watched throught his visor as his sister fought their nemesis. He yelled as Meera jumped pushing him out of the ship as explosions rocked it.
Ryan landed on his two feet, he demorphed as he hit the ground. "Hartley!" He yelled as Carter and Tommy ran to help him up. They watched as fire erupted in the sky. The ducked as debris fell around them.
Diabolico had Hartley pinned against the wall by her neck. "Now you will burn". He growled.
"I know your in there and i hope that find peace". Hartley begged. Meera growled as she used her huge paws knocking him away. Hartley closed her eyes. She turned into a ball of white light and went into the tiger.
Hartley/Meera charged pouncing on top of the golden menace. He yelled as the shiip exploded completely. Once her body gripped onto Diabolico her himan form returned. "This is your end green ranger".
On the ground they cried as flames lit up the sky like a nuclear bomb went off. "Hartley! no!" Carter yelled.
"No she can't be gone!" Tommy yelled gripped the ground. Carter had to hold Ryan back since he wanted to charge towards the falling debris.
They never saw the light land behind them. "Huh?" Tommy wondered as he heard steps. They turned to see none other than Hartley Mitchell limping towards them. The tiger next to her. "Hartley!". He ran to catch her before she fell over. "Easy, we thought we lost you for a second".
"You can't get rid of me that easily". She joked. She hugged Tommy back. Carter wrapped his jacket around her. "Oh stop pouting old man titanium your going to give your self frown lines"
Ryan picked her up off the ground. "I don't know what i would have done if-"
"Hey i told you i would be right behind you". She whispered in his ear as she hugged her brother. "Hart is he gone?".
He let her down. "He's gone. Come on lets head back and save our friends".. They agreed with her and drove back. "Thank you for your sacrifice Diabolico and for saving my life". Hart whispered to the sky. She would fill her family in what happened after.
Once they got back to the dino lab. They walked over to Conner and Ethan. Hart took the two black gems and stabbed an icicle in them destroying them. Beams of red and blue light flew out and back into their bodies. Seconds later the two of them opened their eyes. Hartley crushed the yellow one as the yellow beam went to Kira in Mariner Bay.
"Man what hit me?" Conner groaned out. "What hit you?". Conner asked looking at how Hartley looked with her ripped sweater and dirty face.
"Someone want to fill me in here?" They laughed as Kira's voice came through their morphers.
"Don't worry Kira we will, look Carter is coming to get you to bring you back here so hold tight" Tommy assured her. "Hartley why don't you go get cleaned up and we can talk if you want to".
She nodded and headed upstairs. Ryan followed her. Once she got to her room. She pulled out her pj's since it was late. She hopped in the shower. When she walked back into her room she noticed Ryan sitting on the ledge by her window.
"Hey what did i tell you about pouting?" She joked with a small smile sitting across from him letting the air blow through the window.
Ryan turned to face her. His eyes go to her faded scars. "I thought, god Hart i thought for a second you were gone, my mind went back to the fire, to the accident".
"But i'm not gone i'm right here, Ryan this is what i trained for, this is what my destiny led me to do. Daku knew that defeating Diabolico was my fight. All i wanted was for all of you to understand that instead of pushing me away.' She explained wiping her tears.
Ryan took both her hands. "Hart i'm sorry i didn't understand it all up until now, my whole goal was to protect you from all of this. I am so proud of you, for all he sacrifices you made for us". Hart wrapped her arms around his waist. "I love you sis, so much, please come home".
Hartley smiled into his shoulder. They looked up when Tommy knocked. "Hey, Hart sorry to ruin the moment but it looks like some of the debris might havd destroyed your Dad's cabin".
Hart sighed. "What am i going to do now?".
Ryan reached into his pocket and pulled out a key. "I still have your key but since its late how about we stay here and you can move back in with me tomorrow?"
Hartley looked at Tommy then Ryan. "Would that be okay if i moved back to Mariner Bay and stayed here on the weekends?" She directed that to Tommy. "I can ninja streak through the woods for school?
Tommy nodded. "Yeah its alright, now come on the others want to see you". Ryan headed to the living room. Tommy glanced back noticing Hart was still next to the window.
'He saved my life". He heard her say. "I got him to remember who he was". Tommy walked over. "That has to mean something right?"
"Hart what are you talking about?" He asked looking at her face.
"Diabolico, he fought through the evil Mesogog cursed on him when he brought him back, Tommy he's the reason i am still alive, he remembered how he helped us defeat Bansheera and was willing to be destroyed so he could find peace." Tommy put his arm around her. "He pushed me out the door as the ship exploded."
"Hart it goes to show how much love you actually have to share, you talked to Ryan back then and helped him come back from the demon's hold, now you have proven that you are willing to do anything to help this world. Diabolico thanked you for letting him go by saving your life." He explained. "Come on".
Tommy led her out of the room ad showed her everyone in the living room. "Those people there". Pointing to Conner, Ethan and Kira. "They never gave up on you, Hart they were angry with me for what i said to you. Conner was the one who told Carter and Kira to find you to make sure you were okay".
"I guess i was missed huh?" She joked.
"Very much so, to be honest i missed your laughter, Hart stay and bring this family together as one again". He offered. "You always have a home here".
She sighed. "Okay as long as you keep my muffins stocked when i stay over then you got a deal".
"Deal" He shook her hand. Hartley ran over and jumped on the couch inbetween Kira and Ryan.
"Dana called she has to work tonight so we will see her tomorrow". Ryan told his sister as she grabbed the candy from his hands. Hart laid her head on is lap and stretchedher legs across Conner's.
"Comfy?" He aksed raising an eyebrow.
"Very". She replied with a smirk.
"Man i can't believe you put Dr.O in a timeout, it was about time". Conner joked. He ignored the look Tommy gave him as Tommy sat down in the floor in front of Carter.
"Wasn't the first time i did Conner". Hart spoke eating a gummy worm.
"Do tell". Ethan piped up. Tommy groaned.
"I was 8 or 9 i think, i was in Angel Grove with my friend Cam for a basketball game. When i was there i would stay with his family. Anyway Me and Cam was annoyed when his friends were over and they were arguing like they were our age, so we had enough to we led them to the backyard." She laughed at the memory. "We went and hid but we jumped out and tied them to a tree until they made up".
"Yeah you two left us there for hours". Tommy filled in. The three teens laughed. "She was also the one who made me cut my hair".
"Seriously?" Kira exclaimed.
Hart let out a loud laugh. "Oh yeah, Tommy was into racing before he went to college so one day i was visiting him the day before he went to college, he was working in his garage. I went to through the basketball into the net but i missed and knocked a bottle of car oil over and it went over his head."
"I had no other choice to cut it off". He grumbled. Everyone laughed.
"She would refuse to get into the rover with me if i played country music". Carter stated from the couch he was laying on. Kira made a face. "Oh come on".
"Yeah and i was the one who stole them which is why you never ever found them". Hart retorted. "Kira you need to spend the night with me in Mariner Bay because you need to try the cafe we go to knowing how much you love blueberry bagels like me and Ryan has a spare room you can stay in".
Kira gave her a high five. "Sure".
"Good you will stay over tomorrow". She told her with a smile. Ryan groaned at the thought of two teenagers in his house.
After awhile Conner and Ethan headed home. Carter also headed back to Mariner Bay. Kira and Ryan stayed over for the night.
"Hey thanks for helping me clean up". Tommy spoke to Ryan as they cleaned up the living room. The two girls were sound asleep on the pull out couch. "They seem so close don't they?" Ryan stated.
Tommy smiled. "Yeah they do, i knew from the day they all met that they would be family to, seeing how they never gave up on Hart proves that".
"Did she tell you what happened?" Tommy asked. Ryan shook his head.
"No, and too be honest i don't want to know. As long as Diabolico is gone for good and my sister is alive i don't care". He answered crossing his arms. "Should we move them?"
Tommy shook his head. "No i want my face intact. Night Man".
Ryan walked over and covered the two girls. He kissed Hart's cheek. "Love you sis". He left the living room as Meera looked down as his morpher glow red.
