Sizing Up the Spirits of Kombat
Katsuki charged at Izuku for a fast-flying kick to the head which Izuku dodges it by sliding under the attack then quickly turns around and unleash a flaming wave, but Katsuki was about to counter it with his explosion then burst through.
"Don't think that's enough to get me!" Katsuki shouted.
Katsuki throws down a punch that was blocked by an arm though he is able to push Izuku back a few feet then pulled an uppercut that connected to the chin.
"(Damn, he got me!)" Izuku thought felt that attack and quickly recovers.
Just in time to see Katsuki launch himself with his Explosion Quirk again for some barrage of explosive attacks, but Izuku is able to block them and counter with an electric shock right arm that blocked a punch shocking the explosive boy and punch him down to the floor.
But Katsuki wouldn't stay down for long as he gets back up and manages to throw a strong elbow strike that was kicked away by Izuku's foot, but he was pushed back by one explosion on the body.
"It looks like you have gotten better with your combat skills." Izuku complimented.
"Like I'm going to let a tiny Deku like you get the best of me!" Katsuki charged in again.
Katsuki threw in a strong roundhouse kick only to be blocked again but this time Izuku wrap the leg around with the capture type.
"(Even though I couldn't see Class 1-A's teacher, Eraser Head combat moves with his capture scarf, I can get the general idea of what his fighting style is.)" Izuku thought recalled learning about Eraser Head.
"(Now to throw him off!)" Izuku thought pulled Katsuki's leg further into the hallway.
"(It looks like Kacchan is trying to be unpredictable by doing some unexpected moves to catch me off guard since I know how he fights.)" Izuku thought realized.
"(I hope the girls are doing fine.)" Izuku thought concerned before charging at Katsuki with the Flying Spear Smash pushing him back and crashed through a wall.
(Monitoring Room)
"Man, this fight looks super intense!" Tetsutetsu commented.
"You're telling me, Midoriya and Bakugo looks to be evenly matched in this fight." Rikiho nodded.
"From the way Izuku fights, it appears that he already has knowledge about Katsuki's fighting style and know ways to counter them." Sonya noticed this.
"I noticed the way Katsuki and Izuku interact with each other, it shows that they have a long history together perhaps back to childhood." Jade said.
"But it doesn't look like they're on the friendly terms." Himiko pointed out.
"Still, the kid is showing some potential with the use of his brain and combat skills while also being careful with that powerful Quirk of his from what I saw in the exam and your insane test on the first day." Aizawa looked carefully at Izuku.
"Like you with your Quirk Assessment tests." Sonya countered.
"Point taken." Aizawa admitted.
"Not to mention he also has been trained well in both the mind to know about the Quirk of his opponent while strengthen the body to be prepared to fight that opponent." Bo stated.
"(Not surprising. He's always been pretty good at taking action in crisis situations like during those training days with me and Lord Liu Kang.)" All Might thought knew that special talent of his.
"(Plus, he spent years taking notes on different heroes. He internalized everything he learned. Those lessons are in his blood now. That fanboy knowledge is paying off and driving him forward!)" All Might thought remembered when he and Liu Kang looked at Izuku's notebooks and were amazed of the many Quirks he studied from both heroes and villains and other people alike.
"Oh, look! Izuku's ladies are getting closer to the bomb's location!" Bo pointed at one screen of the three girls of Izuku's team.
(With Tsuyu, Mileena, and Setsuna)
"Come on, the bomb has to be on the next floor. I can feel it in my gut." Mileena believed.
"Easy Mileena, we can't be too careless with the enemies expecting us." Tsuyu tried to calm the savage girl in pink.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be able to get the jump on them with the pace we're going and with Mileena's Quirk to get in." Setsuna smirked.
"I don't think, Bakugo came down to challenge Izuku by himself for personal reason as we all know, but we have to be prepared in case another member of the villain team will come attack us too." Tsuyu pointed out.
"You worry too much, froggy girl. Nothing is going to get past us, especially with me going on ahead for recon." Setsuna excited as she went head flying ahead.
Suddenly something just appeared right close to Setsuna's head that smack her on the head knocking the head down on the floor, Setsuna groan in pain with a tiny thin line of blood coming down on her face.
"What the fuck was that?" Setsuna asked as she wobbly floated back up and put herself back together.
"It looks like you got hit by… a wrench?" Tsuyu picked up the object revealing a wrench.
"Where did a wrench come from?" Mileena confused.
"Look like it just popped out of nowhere." Tsuyu commented, dangling from her fingers.
"Pop out?" Setsuna groaned while attracting her head and pieces of her body back together. And she got an idea of what happened.
"Shit. Girls we got an enemy on us!" Setsuna alerted.
"Too late." Yui said.
Several small but normal size objects came flying at the three hero girls and suddenly they grew three times bigger, each of the girls quickly reacted to this sudden attack doing their own way of dodging them then Yui jump out of hiding and threw a small can at them.
But when Yui pressed her five fingers together and the can grew revealing to be a metal barrel that is coming toward Mileena.
"Mileena!" Tsuyu launched her tongue to punch the barrel down before it could make contact to her teammate.
"Thanks, could have been canned." Mileena thanked the frog girl.
"Fucking damn it, Yui is here and she's packing some sizable ammo." Setsuna cursed.
"You will not get past me, you filthy heroes." Yui said, acting like a villain for this training exercise.
Yui pulls out three small wooden boxes in each hand then throwing them at the three hero girls as they grew back into large crates, Mileena threw a punch with her Sai to force through one and kicked another one away.
"You weren't kidding about this chick having the ability to change the size of the battle." Mileena said.
"It's gonna be annoying if she has anything else in her belt." Setsuna glared at her classmate.
"If you think Bakugo is trouble with his explosions, then you should be glad I did not go further with him." Yui stated.
Yui Kodai, Quirk: Size. She can alter the size of any nonliving object that she touches, making them big or small. She can return objects to their original size by pressing her fingertips together. The downside is she can't alter the sizes of living things like people.
(Monitoring Room)
"No way! The way she uses her Quirk is almost like my Zero Gravity when I use my fingers to deactivate it!" Ochaco gasped, seeing someone familiar to her.
"That's to be expect since some Quirk can be similar to each other, but they can work in completely different ways." Kyoka explained while twirling one of her Earphone Jack lops.
"It's gonna be tough fighting someone who can alter the objects' size, I wonder how they'll fair?" Itsuka asked curiously.
"Hmm, I think that frog girl might jump in." Sonya said, looking at Tsuyu.
"What makes you say that?" Aizawa asked.
"Just a hunch." Sonya shrugged.
(Back to the Girls' Fight)
Yui threw tiny disk things and press her fingers again to return those objects into the barrel lids, but Mileena caught all three with her Sai, one foot, and one hand.
"We can't be wasting our time with this one." Mileena said.
"You're right, which is why I'm going to stay and fight her." Tsuyu jumped in front of Mileena.
"Hey, you stole my idea!" Mileena complained.
"Sorry, but I think you two would be best to face against Iida and Monoma with your Quirks and fighting skills. I should be more than enough to at least keep her busy, even if I end up being capture, I know you girls will go get the weapon." Tsuyu said putting her faith in the two fellow students she barely knew.
"I will not let you escape." Yui charged forward and enlarged.
Tsuyu reacted quickly by jumping on the two walls and tackled Yui down on the floor then throwing in a strong headbutt.
"GO!" Tsuyu shouted.
"Now that is one badass frog bitch!" Setsuna impressed.
"Mileena, come on! We got a bomb to find." Setsuna said as she starts running.
"(I have to say, that frog girl certainly didn't hesitate to jump in even when she knows that Yui could've pulled out something to push her back and threw in a nice headbutt.)" Mileena thought commented.
"You better be in one piece when this is over!" Mileena pointed her Sai at Tsuyu before running after Setsuna.
"If you wanna get to them, you're gonna have to get through me." Tsuyu looked down at her opponent.
"It won't be too much trouble to put a frog hero like to a villainous sleep." Yui said with a dark aura on her straight face.
"Wow, you're taking the villain role serious." Tsuyu surprised.
"Thank you, now get off!" Yui forced Tsuyu off by returning a barrel she shrunk to normal size.
"You're lucky I can't size people's size otherwise this battle would've been mine." Yui said as she got back up.
"Even a small frog has its own advantages." Tsuyu stated with her tongue sticking out a bit.
"Such nonsense, and you can forget about that other hero who is fighting Bakugo because he'll be already dead by the time we're done with our fight." Yui proclaimed.
"(Odd, it almost feels like Yui respects Bakugo more than she should.)" Tsuyu thought surprised.
"If you think your little plan to keep me busy or capture me, then I'll have to put a monkey wrench in your plan!" Yui punned as she pulled out a wrench that was small to fit into her belt pockets.
"Even though you are my enemy in this training exercise, that was a really good pun." Tsuyu complimented with a flat yet serious expression.
"Thank you, it just came to me." Yui thanked with the same face as Tsuyu's face.
Tsuyu jumps to a wall and toward while Yui charges at her frog girl as they begin their battle.
(With Neito and Tenya)
Neito and Tenya are still standing guard right in front of the fake weapon as they wait for at least half of the hero team and have a little talk.
"You know, some people would always say that I'm no more than a second-rate character because of how I can copy others powers. You can imagine how upsetting to some people would feel if they were in my shoes." Neito talked a little about his past.
"I take it you never like how people talked behind your back." Tenya guessed.
"You could say that, always being called second-rate or something worse was getting on my nerves which got me the idea to come to UA High and prove to those idiots that even a secondary character like me can be just as great as the big main characters!" Neito smirked as he looks out the window.
"Those fools will see; this guy right here is gonna be at the top and rub it right in their faces! We'll see who's the second-rate lame-o!" Neito laughed a little crazy.
"(Something tells me you might not be a fan favorite when you go pro.)" Tenya thought concerned for his fellow hero-in-training.
"Well, at least you're taking the spirit of the training exercise with the face and tone being that of the villains we must play, just like Bakugo." Tenya commented.
"I'll take that as a compliment." Neito shrugged.
"You were complaining about playing the role of a villain earlier." Neito recalled.
"Yes, but that is exactly what we need to succeed in this mission. I need to temporarily devote myself to criminal intent. Yes, I won't fail this trail and risk bringing shame down on the Iida family name." Tenya determined to do whatever it takes to pass this training exercise.
"That means… I must now embrace evil… to become a hero!" Tenya declared.
"(I'm not sure whether to make fun of you for that idiotic logic or feel slightly concern for you mental health.)" Neito thought weirded out of this white armor guy.
"Okay then, let's do a little practice run. Give me your best villain act." Neito decided to play along.
Tenya gave his teammate a nod and took a few seconds to mentally ready himself then speak.
"Behold! I am the personification of villainy!" Tenya talked in a slightly deep and dastardly tone.
"(OH! MY! GOD! He's taking the villainy very serious?!)" Neito thought gasped and let out a loud laugh.
"Yes, my villainous companion! Let us share this evil moment before those pathetic heroes come into ruin in, but that will be turn around once they suffer our wrath of evil!" Tenya stated acting evil.
"Very well, I like your attitude! Let's give those fucking heroes some Hell!" Neito laughed, joining Tenya on the evil act.
Unknown to the villain team, they are being both watched and heard by a pair of floating body parts which are one eyeball and an ear though the eyeball looks like its shaking like laughter, feeling the emotions of the owner.
(With Setsuna and Mileena)
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Are you fucking kidding me?!" Setsuna laughed hard on the floor.
"Setsuna, did something happen to Iida and Monoma?" Mileena asked, confused by the sudden laughter of her teammate.
"Oh yeah, something happened alright… Iida is a horrible actor and Monoma is only making him look worst!" Setsuna explained while still laughing.
Milieena gave a deadpan expression wondering if this girl is taking this training seriously.
"Will you snap out of it!" Mileena picked up Setsuna and slapped her so hard on the face.
"Sorry, just couldn't help myself. Anyway, the weapon is inside with those two guarding it." Setsuna informed.
"Alright, better report this to Deku and Tsuyu." Mileena said as she pressed her fingers on the ear communication piece.
(With Deku)
Deku just sends Katsuki flying to a wall with the flying bicycle kick then quickly went into hiding somewhere on the floor.
"Deku, can you hear me?" Mileena asked, calling for the team leader.
"I'm here, how are you and the others are doing?" Izuku responded.
"I also read you loud and clear. I managed to lose Yui for the moment." Tsuyu reported in.
"Wait, you're fighting someone right now?" Izuku asked shock.
"We head a run-in with Yui of the opposing team, so I stayed behind to keep her at bay until the others can get to the bomb." Tsuyu explained.
"Which is the reason why I'm calling, we found the bomb along with Iida and Monoma." Mlieena informed.
"And man, Iida is such a stupid actor." Setsuna laughed a bit which confuses Izuku and Tsuyu.
"Okay… Where they are?" Izuku asked.
"Near the middle of the fifth floor. We're going in to take on the two boys and get their bomb, we'll try to make it fast since we're on a time limit." Mileena said.
"That's probably for the best, I'm gonna end things with Kacchan here and meet up with you guys as fast as my lightning can take me." Izuku said.
"I don't think you need to worry about us, but we will try to be careful when we're facing Iida's speed and Monoma's copying ability. Just try to stay in one piece once this exercise is over." Mileena said in a sweet tone at the end.
"I'll do my best." Izuku nodded before cutting off the call.
But then Izuku heard a ding sound coming from behind and quickly turns around seeing Katsuki standing there about several feet away, and he notices that one of his gauntlets just glowed red for a second there.
"I'm all loaded up." Katsuki said.

It looks like this training has taken into a big step with Tsuyu now fighting against Yui for a one-on-one fight, and Mileena and Setsuna have found the bomb to fight Tenya and Neito. And now it looks like Katsuki is ready to blast something big at Izuku that could be brutal.
