Out Racing the Heat

(UA High School. Heights Alliance. Late-August, 10:34)

Wally is heading to the living room as he gets a text after the students' Homeroom began a couple hours ago; it reads 'Teacher conference in 3 days. Be there, West. Aizawa'.

"Sheesh… the guy thinks I can't do anything without being reminded." Wally muttered before he started to chuckle, "Man, he is like Bruce." He gives Katsuki and Izuku a nod as he walks by as they were washing the dishes. Wally however went to the fridge to check on it.

"I swear to god if you add more dishes, I'm cleaning your clock." Katsuki snarled out as Wally just waved his hand as he looked over the rather barren fridge.

"How often do you guys go grocery shopping?" Wally asked, tilting his head towards the two boys. Katsuki just casually shrugged as Izuku thought about it.

"I think every other week? We don't eat lunch at the dorms, so I think we'd primarily just need breakfast and supper items." Izuku explained as Wally nodded, understanding. He then got out his tablet glove and started to type at super-speed. "What are you doing?"

"Okay so I know… what do you prefer grocery wise? Basically I just typed up the essentials; milk, eggs, white rice, stuff like that for the basics. Just want to know what kinda stuff you two want before getting the other kids."

"That's really generous of you/What's your catch?" Izuku and Katsuki said at once before looking at each other with confused looks at being at unison.

"I'm kinda expecting there's a few things you guys would want, so I kind of just want to cover some bases. `Sides, I got that crazy metabolism and I am pretty sure that Lunch Rush guy would have a heart attack if he has to always keep up with my appetite." Wally jokingly said as they just shrugged and gave him some things to write down. "Okay, I'll see you guys later. Don't burn the dormitory down while I'm gone." He then sped off before Katsuki could give a sarcastic response.

Took Wally less than a minute to find the others, who were walking in a line to their class while Tenya was trying to keep them organized. Wally however saw they ran into Neito, who was giving a smarmy grin. "So I heard about what happened; two people failed the test! Hahaha! Ah man, I thought you were supposed to be getting better!" He just laughed as the others just looked annoyed.

"Well, what about you? Were you the only one who failed like last time at the Finals?" Ejirou asked, smirking a bit while Denki and Mashirao were trying to reassure a disappointed Shoto.

"Actually…" Neito had a big smirk form as he motions to his classmates, who gave them much friendlier waves. "We all passed! Looks like we were able to get ahead of the hotshots."

"Wow, really showing them up, huh?" someone said behind Class B, as Neito just chuckles a bit. "Though I thought someone told you to ease up on this 'rivalry' stuff, Neito."

"Ah, it's all in good fun. Besides, what the teachers don't know won't hurt them." Neito said with a dismissive hand wave as Class 1A were looking amused. Neito looked confused at their faces while Itsuka and the others had nervous looks on their faces.

"Hmm, won't hurt eh? Well, gotta keep that in mind." Neito slowly turned as the situation caught on to him and he jumped back in surprise to see a smirking Wally crossing his arms. "You're keeping out of trouble mostly, Neito?"

"Y-Yes, of course Sensei." Neito said sheepishly, rubbing his head. "Kendo actually hasn't had a lot of reasons to knock me out recently."

"That's good. Hey, I'm gonna be doing a grocery run soon. Gonna ask Shota about it soon though, but wanted to see what you guys were wanting. Could also get something for you kids in B, as well. If you guys are running low on food that is." The two classes looked at each other as they began to sound off their desired groceries, Wally moving his fingers at a rapid speed to type it up.

After getting it done, Wally is about to turn around when Itsuka stops him. "Wait, there's an assembly coming up soon. Wouldn't you need to be there since you're new staff? The rest of the school doesn't know about you."

"...Okay, I can do it real quick. Hopefully it won't take too long." Wally said, a little confused on why he wasn't told about this earlier but did not want to look too annoyed.

(Later…)

At the outer parts of the school, Wally looked upon the over two hundred students from all of the courses as he stood at the ready. His foot was tapping the whole time, listening to Nezu drone on about his fur health.

He perks up as he hears Nezu say, "My current sleep schedule has been disrupted due to the events over summer break. We lost a pillar of hope and many of the students had to move into the dormitory. The ramifications of this event with the villains will shake the entire foundation of our society, and they are getting faster. But fret not, my students. For you see, I have been looking into ways to help you as you are here to inherit our society. This will affect the Work Studies the Second and Third year Hero course students can participate in as well."

'Work Studies?' Wally thought curiously as he saw from the corner of his eyes Class 1A and 1B whisper among themselves when they heard that. Wally looks up at Nezu as the rodent looks towards him in return.

"Now, a word from our Guidance counselor; Hound dog." Sekijiro walked aside to let Ryo walk up and take the microphone.

After taking a small breath to keep calm he gives a growling tone, "Last night two students got into a fight." He takes another breath as he gives a more snarled tone, "Any infighting in the dorms is against the rules, understand?"

Wally gave the dog man a thumbs up, smirking a bit. "Good, good. Using your words, good job Ryo." He claps as he looks at the audience, who just mostly stare at him oddly since most of them only had passing glances of him, not seeing him this up close.

"And as many of you can see, I had also hired this young man; Wallace West of America. Well, a different America. Power Loader, if you please." Nezu had the Support course teacher set up a device and press a button that showed a holographic image of the recording; showing a giant pillar of blue light forming near the dormitories and a yellow and red figure falling out, the screen fuzzy but still able to get it. They also saw Class 1A arriving at the scene as well as the teachers arriving soon after.

Many of the students were whispering among themselves before Sekijiro walked up, putting a hand up. "We had a lie detection quirk be used on him after he had recovered, and we discovered he is telling the truth. Mr. West, better known as Flash, is not from this universe. This opens many doors that the rest of the hero community is thinking on."

"But to give further reassurance, I will ask Flash to come up and speak some words to you." Nezu hops off the stool to let Wally take over, who zooms over quickly and picks up the microphone.

"Okay. Um, ahem." Wally looks at the students, in his casual attire compared to their more formal attire. "Hey, I am what they said; I'm a new hero around here, but I've been a hero for a good 8 or 9 years. I am not honestly what some of you would expect from a teacher, heck I'm still kinda new at it. But hey, while I'm here, I may as well do what I can. I've always been a team player, so hopefully we can get along."

Someone raises their hand as Wally points to them, and an excitable female says from the crowd, "So what kind of hero are you? You saved people from that fire, so were you scared? Or do you not think about it? Are you going to be working for the other hero courses? Are you-" her mouth was quickly covered by a red-pink haired girl.

"...In order; I kinda go with the flow, so I only get scared if I can show it, since showing it to the bad guys is not a good idea. And not sure about that, I was told I was working with the freshman class mostly." Wally explained, blinking at the rapid fire questions. "Anyway, I think you may have heard about a couple of kids getting into trouble?"

They all nod as Wally says, "Look, emotions can run high. Kids can act out because of stress, feeling something off, etcetera. But look; it doesn't make them bad kids, or trouble makers or whatever. Actually look into things before you jump on a rumor bandwagon. If you guys want to be pros one day, or work with the pros, you gotta get your intel straight. Bad intel can wreck the mission."

The others looked at each other at this as they seemed to mull over his words as Wally passes the mic to Hound Dog. "Gotta go, I was gonna do some errands for the dorm." Wally explained to Nezu, who nodded in understanding.

"Of course, thank you for your time." Nezu said with a smile as Wally gave the students a small two-fingered salute before he ran off, leaving behind a small trail of wind and lightning behind him.

(Later)

At the Supermarket, Katsuki was looking annoyed as he was standing by Izuku who was looking over the list from their class. Wally was helping them get things in the cart they had set up. "This is so dumb…" Katsuki audibly groaned as he saw this.

"Look kid, this is adulting." Wally said casually as he tossed a bag of pre-made mochi into the cart. "You'll be needing to do this as often as you can to take care of yourself." There was soon a bag of apples after that response.

Katsuki made a small annoyed sound with his teeth before they saw a large man with a yellow pointed nose mask heading towards the cash register and had a huge grin on his face. "This is too easy!" He smirks as he sees the owner back up in fear before he rips the register out of the floor.

"What the-?!" Izuku cried out in shock as the fiery blonde got ready, but Izuku stopped him. "Wait, you don't have a license yet." Katsuki grunts but they see Wally snap on his goggles, glaring ahead

"You two keep the civs back. I got the big boy." Wally commands as he tosses a container of beef stock at Katsuki before he zooms towards the large man after he broke through the window, laughing gleefully.

"That was too easy!" The man exclaimed happily as a bruly-looking man got out, glaring as he aimed an arm cannon.

"You bastard, acting so boldly like this in the middle of the day?!" He aims his cannon but before another man in a mask could bash him in the back of the head, Wally zips over and yanks the pipe wielding man out of the air.

"GAK!" the grounded man exclaimed in pain as Wally tossed the pipe away before giving the other pro a nod, who gave a thankful nod.

"Hey! Who do you think you are?!" asked a goon by a truck as the big man swung towards Wally, who sped under him as he kicked the larger man's gut.

"The name's Flash. You know; fastest man alive?" Wally said with a bit of bravado in his tone, making the four grin with excitement.

"Ah man… we beat this fool, and Team Reservoir Dog will hit new heights!" a brunette with large elven ears grinned as they ran at him, all brandishing weapons. All Wally did at this sight was roll his eyes.

"Seriously? You steal a whole cash register-not just the cash, but the whole counter-and then decide to beat up on a superhero? Man, and here I thought the Rogues were ballsy." Wally snarked to himself as he sped around them. The world around him seemed to go into slow motion as their words started to slow around him.

"Hey!" The red haired dog tried to swing his crowbar as Wally ducked around him, gripping his shirt and belt and tossed him over his shoulder before moving forward and elbowing the blonde in the gut.

The larger member tries to swing the counter at him, but Wally vaults over the register and kicks down the brunette's face before skidding away from them, his arm behind his back. The brunette growls as they run to the truck, tossing the counter into the back.

"This ain't the end, hero! We're gonna get you back, got it!?" The blonde shouted as they got back into the car, as the pro grunts at this.

"Hey, rookie!" The large man walked over as the manager and the two students ran up. "Why did you let them get away?!"

"Dude, they're D lists at the very least. Besides, they are going away empty handed." Wally said with a small shrug.

"What do you mean?! They took the whole register!" The manager shouted before Wally showed something he was holding; the cash drawer and a bag of change. Everyone was shocked to see that he had retrieved the cash without the Reservoir Dogs realizing they are now empty handed.

"The coins kind of spilled when I grabbed it, but I was able to put it in the bag. It should be about… 9,536,900 yen." Wally said with a small smile, handing both to the man who just stared at the red head with a gobsmacked expression. "If you need me to help with a report, I can do that, but for now we need to get some groceries done."

"...Paper or plastic?" The manager said dully as they went back, the arm cannon man grunting as Wally did the math with a small calculator and then asked him how much tax it was before they made a transaction, letting the man keep the change.

After they get it written up, Wally walks ahead with them to the car, passing the pro a piece of paper with the dogs' license plate number on it so that they can track them down later. Unknown to them, a blonde man with blue eyes and a scar on his forehead was peeking out of the alleyway, a look of wide eyed shock on his face. He hyperventilated for a moment, staring in horror at what he had just seen before quickly reaching into his pocket to get something as he hid.

After some time, they went to a mall to get some cooking supplies. "So you met the leader of the League here?" Wally asked, looking around the mall. Izuku just nods as Katsuki grits his teeth as he sees some Stain the Hero Killer merchandise up, clicking his teeth in disgust.

Wally passed by some books titled 'Meta Liberation Wars' and did a quick glance at the back before putting it down with a hint of annoyance on his face. They started for the store for the kitchen utensils when they heard the sound of rattling. "What the…?" Katsuki asked in annoyance as they turned and saw a large typhoon force ash-filled wind go out towards them.

The three young men put their arms up to block the wind as they got pushed back, as did several civilians as a quacking sounding laugh was heard. They saw a lean, light brown man with blue hair in a ponytail, an elongated face with a bill-like face, and goggles over his dark blue eyes, with freakishly large fingers that were colored red. He wore a black unitard with a fan attached to his back with blue shoes with fans on the back.

"Time to clear out, everyone!" A white haired woman said with a laugh as gray dust came out of her body. She was a slender woman wearing a black bra-like top, gray very small shorts, armaments on her body and black boots with a metallic mask with goggles. Over her shoulder was a large club that looked like a rimmed bat, or ninjato.

"Leave your valuables, or else be reduced to ash by… the Volcano Thieves!" a commanding, deep voice said as a towering fiery-haired man walked up, smoke arising from his body. He wore a navy jumpsuit with a pipe-like belt around his waist. He also wore yellow-orange armored gauntlets and boots and armor that looks like heated lava rocks and a metallic mouth guard.

"Oh come the fuck on…!" Katsuki grunts in annoyance. "What's with all these villain groups?!"

Wally frowns as he says, "It's likely a power vacuum. With this All For One guy in prison, some powerful goons are likely wanting to take his spot. Plus it seems a lot of pros are solo acts, so they must think they can power through them as a team."

"We need to get everyone out of here, before they hurt someone!" Izuku exclaimed as Wally got his ring out, nodding at this. "W-Wait, Mister West! Are you sure you shouldn't call the school?"

"It'll take them a train ride's worth of time to get here, kid. That's not enough to make sure we can get the back up, so I'm going to keep them busy. You guys help keep everyone away." Wally then fired his ring up, releasing his costume before doing a quick spin.

The duck-faced man felt the air current change as he looked to his right, confused before seeing a red and yellow blur speed by and sock him in his elongated mouth. "GAH! Mah face!" He quacked in pain.

The large man in armor turns as he sees the Flash skidding by, his boots creating a bit of traction as he stops. "So you're the new hero on the block, eh? Well, guess it's nice to see we got the new blood's attention. Name's Volcano, dese two are my cohorts Dusty Ash and Gust Boy."

Flash just had a small moment to blink before he mutters, "And now I am missing the days of dealing with Captain Boomerang and the Turtle." He then sees Gust Boy's hand starting to spin like a fan.

"Lets trip ya up, speed-freak!" The duck-faced man fired a large gust of wind, creating a whipping effect of highly pressurized wind, knocking Flash off his feet as he got sent backwards, grunting as he rolled a bit on the ground.

"Great, he's a wanna-be Red Tornado. That's always fun," Flash grunts as he hopped back onto his feet, glaring at him as the winds still continued to push against the area. "Though want a plot twist? You're not the only one who can mess with air currents, Daffy." He then straightened out his arms towards them.

"Huh? Whatcha mea-" Before Gust Boy could finish his question, Flash began to spin his arms into a funnel before creating a wind current of his own, knocking the other wind current out before speeding forward.

"Gotcha!" the white haired woman exclaimed as she fired out a blast of ashes into the wind, whipping it up into the air. Many people cried out in pain as it got onto their eyes as Flash grunts, his goggles getting covered with the debris as he still crashed into Gust Boy, but had to slow down to wipe his goggles clean.

"Ugh, freaking low blow…" Flash grunts as Dusty Ash swung her large club at him, making him yell out as he started to move quickly to duck around each swing. "Mother-hey-quit it with-!" He speeds back with a grunt as he says, "What is with crazy chicks and giant bats?!"

"Heh, what's wrong? Are you having some trouble there, Hero?" Volcano asked with a sneer under his mask, aiming his arm up as molten liquid started to form on it. Flash's goggles flashed at this, making him grunt.

"Oh that's not good…" Flash groaned to himself as his goggles read the temperature; 3,100 degrees fahrenheit/1704.4 degrees celsius. 'Oh you have got to be joking! He's not just some blowhart in a stupid rock suit, he's basically Heat Wave with a magma gimmick.' Flash started to look around at super speed, seeing the many civilians. 'And anyone caught in the splash zone is either going to be needing a stay at the emergency room or be melted like fruit pops in summer.'

Volcano just laughs as he fires out a giant wave of yellow-white magma from his palm, making a large splash of it fire towards Flash's direction. But to his shock he saw a red, yellow and blue flash of movement make the speedster vanish with the civilians disappearing. "What the-?" He asked in surprise as they looked around and saw him moving the people to the side.

"Deku, King Explosion!" Flash shouts at the two students, making the two jump in surprise. "Get the civilians evacuated or at least to a safer place til the police arrive! Tell store employees they have permission to defend themselves! You-" He points at Katsuki as he adds, "You have my permission to use your powers for self defense only. Think of this as a redo on your exam,"

Katsuki gave a click in his teeth but nods, since the villains were preparing another attack as they two students quickly went to get people out of the way before Flash started to move people away as well, getting them to higher floors while making sure they weren't hit by giant gusts of ash-filled wind or blasts of magma.

"Heh, typical goody-goods. Too concerned about the weaklings around them to try and show us how to really do things," Dusty Ash said with a laugh behind her ventilator, making Gust Boy give a quacky-sounding laugh as well. Volcano however was watching carefully, seeing Flash moving around quickly.

"...Gust, Ash. Get back. I'm going to make him unable to get closer to me." After giving that order, the two did so as he gripped the ground with his larger gauntlet. "Volcannon!" Gust Boy flew up with a large burst of wind while Dusty Ash used pressurized bursts of ash to get away as well as the ground shook.

Flash turned around and went wide eyed as he saw the ground around Volcano erupt with a giant burst of fire and earth, creating shockwaves that burst up around him. The speedster had to duck and weave around the debris and get people away from the fragments and splattering molten liquid, which made several things catch fire.

Flash heard a scream as he saw a little kid about to be crushed by some flaming debris, but Izuku was quick with the Full Cowling and got the kid out of the way of the danger, making the speedster grunt as he moved even faster, pushing himself while making sure to deflect Dusty Ash's ash waves and moving people away from potential hits from the lava blasts or wind bursts.

After a bit of the running around, Flash began to pant after finding some cover as Volcano was blasting more lava downward, making more of the ground bubble up as Dusty Ash and Gust Boy each took to getting to higher ground, smirking evilly as if to dare anyone to come out. Flash grunted, looking downward and noticed his hands were sparking up.

"What the…?" he asked himself in confusion before seeing Izuku and Katsuki running up to him, and saw his body was shining with electrical pulses.

"The fuck…? How are you doing that?" Katsuki asked as Flash just shrugs before seeing a brunette woman looking around with a camera man, though Katsuki just looked annoyed. "Ah no, not her again…"

"Ah, there you are!" The woman said as she came over, pointing a microphone to Flash's face. "What's the current situation? Are there any casualties? What's your plan?" She asked in rapid fire, with the red-clad hero just pushing the microphone away with his finger.

"Are you nuts?! This is an active battlefield right now! I am currently just trying to catch my breath here," Flash said with an annoyed tone to his voice as the journalist gave a faint glare at this.

"Hey, I have every right to report on any hero activity!" the reporter shouters, making the speedster have to quickly move her and the cameraman behind the cover as a blast of wind nearly got to them. "Watch where you put your hands, mister!"

"Look lady, I get journalists need to get the story and whatever. Trust me, I get it, my aunt is a reporter too. But you don't do something suicidal like that when the heroes are trying to think of a battle plan," Flash said in a reprimanding tone. "And right now I am kind of stuck since I can't run to them with that lava pool around the big guy…"

"What if you can hit from afar?" Izuku asked, making everyone turn to him, Katsuki just gave him a flat look as he quickly stuttered out an apology, but Flash put a hand up.

"No, what was that?" Flash asked in confusion as Izuku pointed at the sparks coming off his body, making him look at his arm to inspect it closer; seeing blue tinted sparks flowing over his body.

"I-I mean, your body is giving off some discharges. Maybe if you create more of a charge in your body from moving around, maybe you can actually fire it?" Izuku suggested, rubbing his head. "I mean, it would make sense given the energy build up you are making, it'd be like creating static electricity though in this case it would be more a form of bioelectricity, wouldn't it…?"

"Look kid, I get where you are coming from… but how would I even know how to do that? I'm already hitting my limit here," Flash said as Izuku and Katsuki looked at each other.

"I mean… that's what our school motto is all about, right? Going beyond, plus ultra style? It means pushing past that limit. I'm sure you had to go past your limit before, right?" Izuku asked as he thought back to that blizzard five years ago.

Flash then readjusts his goggles as he looks around the circumference of the mall before taking a breath, "Kids, make sure the cops get here. I'll try and make this quick…" He inhaled before speeding off, creating a blurred red image as he started to go around the lava pit. HE grits his teeth as he gets his head to look ahead. 'Come on, West! Focus! Ignore the heat, ignore the taunts, ignore the fatigue…just keep moving!' He thought to himself, his eyes narrowing as he sped up.

"Huh? Oh that's cute, trying to make a tunnel for us?" Volcano asked with a small laugh as he got ready to fire again, but noticed his body was giving off a high amount of sparks. His eyes widened as his two goons watched with shock, with Flash closing his eyes as memories started to flow to him.

Dude, that is so crash! I won't let you down, I promise!

Why let them tell us what to do? It's simple. Get on board or get out of the way.

Hope survives because the battle is not over. Not as long as even one of us is willing to fight.

Now, combat is about controlling conflict. Putting the battle on your terms. You should always be acting, never reacting.

No battle plan ever survives first contact with the enemy. How you adjust to the unforeseen is what determines success.

Have faith in what you can't explain. Believe in what you can no longer deny.

Flash's body sparked up more and more as these thoughts echoed in his mind, his eyes then shot open with a deep glare as he was doing the run, his green eyes shining blue as the lightning sparked more and more off of his body. "Hey hot shot!" Flash yelled within the blur of movement, the wind causing the smoke to rise up.

Volcano looked around with a glare as he tried to find where the speedster was, aiming his left arm up as he says, "Slow down you son of a-!"

"Wanna know the school motto I've been hearing so much about? Apparently it's all about pushing the limit… going beyond… Plus Ultra style! So, time for me to show you how we go Plus Ultra back in my town!" Volcano watched as Flash's body started to give off more sparks as his body started to create a cackling of thunder in the tornado, as his body had sparks fly around them as the fiery haired man stared in shock.

"Whoa…!" Izuku yelled out as he saw the lightning zap everything around them, everyone watching in awe as the red and yellow twister started to become a shining blue, with the light focusing on one spot while Flash's right arm began to shine up as he was collecting the shock in that arm.

"Here's a little special trick for you… courtesy of a little extra charge!" Flash then slowed down enough that Volcano could see him, but went wide eyed as he saw it; Flash, in a bit of a flourish, did a spin before tossing the blue bolt of lightning. "Flash Volt!" He threw the bolt hard, striking Volcano in the chest.

The man yells out as he was sent flying, hitting his two cohorts with his gauntleted arms. The shock spread from him and into them, making the two yell out as they were both sent flying backwards in different directions; Dusty Ash crashing into a food cart and breaking it while Gust Boy hit a window and crashed into the other side. Volcano hit a wall after that, knocking himself out with the impact to his head.

Flash adjusted himself so that his boots could skid across the ground, kicking up some floor tiles as the traction of his boots left a slight imprint. He slowly started to pant, the energy flowing off of him as he looked up with a slight grunt in his tone. He gave a quick survey of the area; no civilians were hit by the lava and the only damage was to the building.

"Okay…I think I can count that as a win…" Wally said, removing his cowl as he pants a bit, trying to get some cool air on him as the lava dried up, turning into rock again as the police soon arrived and detained the villains, the people giving testimony over it. Wally frowned as he thought it over, looking at his arm. "What did that machine do to me…?"

(Later that day…)

(Unknown compound)

At an underground lab in a compound in a near-by city, someone was watching over some chemistry sets while the TV played, showing the latest pieces of heroics. "Diseased…all of them, wretched and vile. The whole lot of this diseased society needs to be purged, especially if we are getting…foreign germs coming in." The man in the shadows glared at the screen as it showed The Flash in action before grabbing a syringe. "Got to get my work done…" He puts it into a device before leaving

In another room in the compound, a small child was shivering in fear as she held herself. The white haired girl moved into a ball as she rubbed her bandaged arms, tears falling down her cheeks as she had just gone through another treatment. She rubbed her cursed horn as she felt a slight shift in the air.

"Are you okay…?" a faint female voice asked in the back of her head, making the little girl look around fearfully, her red eyes wide as she looked around wildly as this was an unknown voice to her.

"W-Who's there? Who are you…?" the little girl fearfully asked, looking around before seeing what looks like white sand taking a humanoid shape before a hooded figure with a young-looking female face looked at her.

"SecretEri, right?" whispered the hooded young girl, her pale blue eyes looking at Eri with soft compassion, smiling down at her. Eri, fearful, just gave a small nod nervously as she looked at the ghost who just stayed away from her, but kept a kind aura to her. Something… soothing.

(Back at UA)

As Katsuki had stormed off after they got back, Izuku was with Wally. They were dealing with the trash while the fiery-blonde was dealing with dishes from dinner. As they collected the trash, they saw the others were talking about class.

Wally then noticed Minoru and Hanta teasing Katsuki about the window sill as Mineta said, "What's this dust here, Bakugo? Slacking on us?"

"It was supposed to be Deku's turn for that!" Katsuki yelled as Wally just sighed, before using his super speed to toss a roll of paper towels at Hanta's direction, with his reflexes making it catch it.

"How about instead of complaining, you can actually do some of the chores yourself? They ain't gonna be your clean up monkeys for much longer, so better get a headstart on getting things back to normal chore duties," Wally pointed out with a stern tone. The two were surprised as Katsuki growled.

"Who are you calling a, 'Chore Monkey,' Speed Freak!?" Katsuki exclaimed in his usual rage as Wally just ignored him, rolling his eyes before he saw everyone else talking about their respective home work.

"Man, today must've been rough on them too, even with that magma freak around," Wally muttered as he saw how upset Izuku was as he kept hearing until they overheard Kyoka mention the Work Studies.

"'In just a day, I've been completely left behind!' Is that what you are thinking, right House Arrest?" Tenya asked, looking at Izuku as he gave a bit of protest at the new nickname. Just then however, Tenya suddenly shouted in pain as a sudden sensation of a flicking finger hit his forehead as Wally gave a flat look.

"Hey Mr. Mindreader, how about you keep the snark for the rock star girl. Its not a good look on you," Wally said with a flat look as he just flexed his hand a bit. Izuku looked at him before looking at Tenya again.

"So what are these, 'Work Studies,' everyone is talking about?"

"I apologize, but I am under strict orders too-" Before Tenya could finish, Wally went over and looked down at Izuku and then at Katsuki.

"I only heard about it at the assembly earlier, but if I had to hazard a guess, its something kinda like a Sidekick For a week kinda deal? Like a job study?" Wally suggested with a shrug. "I dunno, I didn't get the full explanation, but that's just a hazard of a guess."

"Mr. West! He's being punished!" Wally looked over at Tenya with a flat look, crossing his arms.

"And I can tell you from personal experience that a leader keeping secrets from his teammates usually causes a lot of unneeded tension. Trust me, I got the beak scars and the gorilla lice bites in my head from when I let that kinda stuff happen to me." Wally then picked up the trashbag he had filled up and tied it up. "You're supposed to be a leader, right Tenya? Then try and make sure you understand the full merrit of that, okay?"

"...Yes, Sensei. I understand what you mean, I am sorry Midoriya for speaking out of turn like that," Tenya said, giving his friend a small bow in apology as Izuku just tried to laugh it off while taking the trash out. But Wally gave Tenya a thumbs up as they headed out, Wally noticing Izuku was grumbling to himself.

"Man…I feel like I'm being left behind…" Izuku muttered in annoyance, as Wally looked at him.

"Hey, don't take it so bad kid," Wally reassured with a smirk, patting him with his arm as they walked. "Besides, if you keep stressing about that, you're gonna start getting gray hair before you're twenty."

"But still, I need to show that I'm not gonna give up! This is just a minor block in what I want to do," Izuku exclaimed as Wally just gave a laugh, reminded of how eager Garfield was when he first joined the Team.

He had to enjoy the more peaceful moments like this. The pleasant afternoon sun, the crisp autumn air, the man's face in the wall-

Both Izuku and Wally paused as their eyes slowly turned to look and they saw a man with a rather plain face smiling at them. "Hiya. You know, the burnables go to the incinerator, right?" he asked with a smile.

"Uh…sure…" Izuku said slowly as the face just nodded before retreating. Izuku turned towards the confused Wally, "Who was that?"

"Either we were visited by the Trash Fairy, or that was one of the other kids at this school. In my life experience, neither possibility is out of the question," Wally quipped as they walked forward… only for the face to appear again under them. "Gah-! Okay in the words of my… basically nephew, that is moded as hell!"

"Oops, sorry for spooking you, sir. But that kid next to you is that first year who's been causing a ruckus recently, yeah? I just wanted to see how he's like since I heard a lot about him. Don't worry, you'll know who I am soon enough. Just wanted to say hi is all," The face said with a cheerful tone before vanishing again.

Izuku was shaking a bit while Wally was doing a quick look around, and sees no cameras around. "And of course they don't have security cameras by the trash area… and they wonder how people break into this place?" He then sees Izuku's face get inquisitive, a frown forming. "What's up?"

"Something about that guy's face… seemed familiar." Izuku looked confused, but shrugged as they separated the trash out into a paper bag they got from the store for the burnables with Wally's speed, before finishing their chores.

(A few days later)

(UA High School, Class 1A Homeroom. 7:30 AM)

Wally hummed a bit as he walked into the room, having gotten done with some early morning training before changing to his suit. When he walked in, he saw Class 1A looking at a very intense Izuku. "I am sorry for all the trouble I caused!"

"It's okay, Deku! Thanks for all your hard work!"

"He just cleaned up a bit…and what's with the steam nostrils?"

Izuku looked over at Tenya and said, "Class Rep, I am sorry for disappointing you! I promise to make up for all the time I missed these last three days!"

"Yeah, do it man!" Kirishima cheered as Wally just sighed a bit, rubbing his head a bit as Shota walked in, looking at him with a flat look.

"I thought you would cool the problem child off…" Shota said with a sigh as they entered. "Get to your seat, class. We got a special class today since we got all the students with their licenses here."

Everyone went to their seats as Wally got his chair out, twirling it around so he can sit on it in reverse. "So what's the plan then, Shota? More intense training? Battle scenarios? Teaching them a bit about potential combos?"

"Nothing like that yet, no West. But I do want them to see who the best of the best here is, as a bit of a way to inspire them to get better. These three are students who have experienced the Work Studies, so they can spread their knowledge."

Wally raised a brow as everyone turned to the door again as three older teenagers came in; one a lanky looking young man with spiky hair and pointed ears with a scared frown on his face, a periwinkle haired, nicely shaped young woman with big eyes and a peppy smile, and a rather tall blonde with a… very familiar face to Izuku and Wally.

"Say hello to the Big Three…" Shota began before Wally jumped up, pointing at the taller teen.

"Wait, you're that face from a few days ago! The Burnables guy!" Wally exclaimed, looking at him with surprise. Everyone looked at Wally with confusion as the tall teen just burst out laughing.

"Aaah man, good eye!" The tall teen gave a wide grin as he put a hand out for a shake to Wally, "Sorry for being so informal, Sensei. But I was just excited to see the Troublemaker that I didn't get a chance to fully introduce myself; I'm Mirio Togata, and these are my friends Nejire Hado and Tamaki Amajiki. As Aizawa said, we're the Big Three!"

End of Chapter 9

Man life is a wild ride when it comes to writing but I hope everyone was happy with how this chapter turned out. I am really sorry for the long wait again, but this was mostly due in part to rewatching both Young Justice and seeing how the manga is going to see for ideas for this fic.
