DOUBLE ANNIVERSARY-5

Hello everyone. Thank you for all your reviews. Last chapter was a little wild, but I think that both couples needed a little wildness. It's not typical for me to update during the week, but in my country we are having a long May weekend, so I thought why not? This chapter will have some interactions between Elsie/Cora. Hope you will like it ;-)

The next morning

Charles & Elsie

"Mmm...Charles..."-Elsie moaned, when Charles was kissing her neck in a way that she adored...Even though it was already morning and they both woke up, the reminiscence of last night, full of love and passion, was still deep in them...In the anticipation for breakfast, they shared tender kisses and few caresses...

"Charles what? Any problems my love?"-Charles pretended that he was teasing Elsie..."Should I stop?"

"Don't you dare...The things you do to me and last night...I'm still speechless..."

"Are you indeed my love? Have I done anything particularly enticing last night?"

"You know very well what you did...I can't remember the last time when had such a passionate night together..."

"From now I promise, it will be a regular thing with us...Elsie...You are so beautiful...I could spend all day here, in this bed, kissing and cheerishing you..."

"What stops you my love? Do you have any other plans?"

"Yes, I made some plans with His Lordship, I hope you won't mind...He told me, that there is a vineyard nearby and he offered, that we could visit it together, you know how much we both love wine..."

"Sounds interesting...For you of course...Am I allowed to stay and just enjoy the beautiful weather?"

"Of course you are...Her Ladyship is not coming too, so maybe you can just sit in the garden together. I'm sure that she will be glad, that you will keep her company.."

"I hope so..Sounds like a quiet day ahead of me...But I will miss you very much..Can I have one more kiss?"

"As you wish Elsie..."-Charles hovered over Elsie and treated her with the most delicate kiss, she wrapped her arms around him and deepened the kiss...They were both starting to warm up, when they heard a knocking to their door, as the breakfast has just been delivered...

"Those damn interruptions...We can't get really get rid of them, wherever we are..."-Charles reluctantly stopped their romantic moment, while Elsie giggled joyfully, thinking, that it was indeed a very nice start of the day...

Cora & Robert

Cora was gently stroking Robert's face and he was looking at her with adoration in his eyes... They were still enjoying their tender moments, after the night full of love and devotion...It was exactly what they both needed...

"You look really happy today my sweetheart...I would like to know who made you so happy..."

"A certain very handsome English Lord...Those English men are simply irresistible"

"Indeed they are...And those American women have a unique kind of charm..."

Robert and Cora shared a loving kiss...His hands were wandering on Cora's body, making her shiver, which took her by surprise, that after 40 years of marriage, he could still evoke such feelings in her...

"Robert...Could we just forget the whole world for a day and stay in this bed, I would really like that..."

"I wish we could, but I made some plans with Carson for today..."

"Really? You are going somewhere together?"

"Yes, I want to show him the vineyard nearby...He hasn't seen it yet and you know that he is as crazy about wine as I am...I thought that this will be a nice thing for us to do..."

"I'm so happy that you are going together...And that it was your idea...You know Carson...He will cherish this memory forever..."

"That's exactly what I thought...You can spend a nice, quiet day with Mrs Hughes, having some kind of a..What do you call it? A girl talk?"

"That's exactly how we are calling it...It will be nice to talk to her about something else than household matters..."

"I'm sure it will be, but before another day will start for good, can I indulge my wife for a little longer?"

"Depends what you mean by indulging Robert..."

"How about this?"- Robert put his hands under Cora's night dress and he started to touch her body in a way, that caused heat waves in her body...They started to kiss and they would be more than willing to continue, but their attempt to prolong sweet moments in bed, was effectively interrupted by the servants, who delivered their breakfast...

A little later, in the garden...

"I'm really glad, that our husbands decided to take this little trip...It gives us a chance to talk quietly. How are feeling after our last night dinner Mrs Hughes? I think that I drank too much last night..."

"I'm fine My Lady, although you are right...I think that we have reached the limit of alcohol for one night...Mr Carson was so happy about the trip to the vineyard...He loves to talk about wines and I'm not always a good listener..."

"It's tough, isn't it? To share a hobby with your spouse, especially when you are not particularly interested yourself in some subject..."

"I quite agree My Lady...Generally marriage is tough..."

"But you do not regret your decision of marrying Carson?"

"No, never...Well almost never..Maybe only when he complains about my cooking skills..."

Cora and Elsie both laughed heartily...

"Every marriage certainly has some good and bad moments, but I agree with you Mrs Hughes...I never regretted marrying Lord Grantham...We are married for forty years and we still love each other very much..."

"And if I may say so, it's very obvious when I see you...This love radiates from both of you...I'm afraid that being in the age that we are, Mr Carson and I will never make it to this anniversary, but I'm happy about our five years..."

"If you had married earlier...Mrs Hughes, I was wondering if I may ask you an indiscreet question?"

"Of course you may My Lady..."

"Don't you ever wish, that you were married in a younger age, so you can have children?"

"Yes My Lady...Mr Carson and I are often talking about it, although I'm not very fond of those conversations...He blames himself for not asking me earlier, but I think, that there is no point to think about it now...What's done is done..."

"Carson was always so focused on serving our family, that he totally overlooked other things in his life..It must have been difficult for you to wait all those years for his proposal..."

"Yes, it was sometimes, especially when I wasn't really sure if he had any feelings for me...I was in love with him for a longer while, but I wasn't sure if he was...And of course I couldn't ask him..."

"Thank you for sharing such private things with me Mrs Hughes...I have to tell you, that I fully understand what you are talking about...I'm sure you realize, that my marriage to Lord Grantham was arranged and in the beginning, I wasn't even sure if he will ever fall in love with me..Those first few months were difficult..."

"I can imagine...I lost hope for ever marrying Mr Carson...We were living together under one roof for such a long time, working together and having close friendship, sometimes I thought, that he didn't feel a need of changing anything..."

"Luckily he finally gathered a courage to ask you...I always knew, that there was something special between you two...It was obvious for me by the way you looked at each other, addressed each other and took care of each other...I was telling that to Robert, but he didn't see it..."

"Men are often so oblivious about the most obvious things, aren't they My Lady?"

"They certainly are...Luckily we are here to help them find a way to the light..."

Cora and Elsie smiled, feeling that there is a special connection between them once again...

That's all for this chapter. I always felt that special bond between Elsie and Cora and I think, that it was very likely that they would find some sort of understanding...In the next chapter, we will have some interaction between Charles and Robert...A rather funny and unexpected, if I may add ;-) Many thanks for reading this chapter.
