Meanwhile...
"You won't need to bring any of this to Koragar," Blackfire told her sister as she looked at a framed picture of them together and tossed it in the trashcan. "It's all junk."
"This is not the junk. Do you not remember the laughs of the hilarity we had at the Tamaran Zoo?" Starfire smiled as she took the framed picture out of the trashcan and held it close to her.
"I remember being embarrassed by your wailing as you fell into the Kamakoozy pit." Blackfire replied dryly.
"Starfire? We got trouble." Nature Girl's voice soon sand on Starfire's wrist com.
"Blackfire!" Starfire soon beamed. "Join me in the mission of saving the day!"
"Yeah, right." Blackfire replied.
Starfire frowned as she went to walk out the door, trying to not let Blackfire get to her.
"Have fun being a superzero!" Blackfire continued with a smirk.
"I will see you tomorrow, Kinifster!" Starfire replied before flying off.
Blackfire soon looked softly at the framed picture of her and Starfire at the zoo.
At Sector H, the Female Furies began to search all around for something they needed for their fiendish task.
"Find that Response-O-Meter!" Granny Goodness glared.
"It can't be that far away." Sombra remarked as he helped out as the teenage villains began to search all around.
The Female Furies began to search through the room, making a mess. Stompa soon found a door and grabbed it out through the wall and lifted it up which opened the door as a bunch of papers and files fell out before a certain device came out along with it.
"I believe you found it." Sombra smirked as he retrieved the device that came from the pile.
"Yes~" Granny Goodness smirked back as she took it.
Sombra soon glanced over and seemed to make himself disappear just as the young heroes came to stop them.
"Put that down!" Nature Girl glared as she swung down with one of her own vines.
"Yeah, it doesn't belong to you." Thunder Boy added.
Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Starfire, Batgirl, Bumblebee, Superboy, Thunder Boy, and Nature Girl soon dropped down together and stood bravely as they made it in front of the Female Furies along with Granny Goodness.
"Furies!" Granny Goodness called out. "Finish these Supers!"
Artemiz soon shot her arrows, though Wonder Woman blocked them before it was time for a big fight.
"Hey, Buzzy!" Speed Queen smirked before she began to run at her super speed.
Bumblebee soon attempted to shoot at Speed Queen who kept speeding around the young heroine. Eventually, the blasts got to Speed Queen and she suddenly tripped and lost her move with super-speed. Supergirl and Superboy both flew towards Granny Goodness and Stompa only for the older villainess to duck down.
"I should've finished you off last time!" Granny Goodness glared as she whacked Superboy and Supergirl away with her hook.
The hook was dented a bit and Superboy went down, though not by much compared to Supergirl. Stompa soon grabbed Superboy and Supergirl and began to bear hug them.
"Didn't know you were much of a hugger, Stompa." Superboy grunted as he began to use his strength get free.
"Can I keep you?" Stompa smirked as she hugged them tighter.
Supergirl grunted and struggled to get herself free as she wasn't as strong as Superboy or Superman.
"Who wants to have a little Thunderball?" Thunder Boy smirked as he soon brought out a storm cloud he made with magic and began to roll up the cloud like a snowball.
Granny Goodness glared ready to take him on next before some Batarangs were thrown at her as they deflected off her.
Thunder Boy then threw his thunderball at Granny Goodness which rumbled all around her, startling her before lightning bolts electrocuted her. "Sorry, Granny!" he then called out with a smirk.
Lashina soon stepped out and began to lash out her whip at Batgirl and Thunder Boy. Batgirl and Thunder Boy soon began to dodge her whip over and over until it wrapped around Batgirl's right leg.
"Oh, no!" Thunder Boy gasped.
Batgirl soon bent down to undo the whip that was tied around her leg.
"Nuh-uh, Bats!" Lashina smirked as she had electricity flowing through her whip to electrocute Batgirl.
Batgirl yelled out in pain before she suddenly fell over, blacking out in the middle of the floor.
"Oh, no!" Bumblebee gasped before flying down to Batgirl.
Artemiz then shot his arrows at Bumblebee who shrunk herself to avoid getting hit. Bumblebee then grew back in size and soon flew towards the Furies, shooting at them.
"Let... GO!" Superboy glared before he broke free from Stompa's arms and dropped down with Supergirl. Acting fast, he soon grabbed Stompa's left arm and flipped her before catching her and threw her at Granny Goodness.
Sombra glanced over from where he hid, looking impressed from Superboy's abilities. Granny Goodness suddenly flew back from Stompa's weight and the sudden throw.
"You okay, Kara?" Superboy asked his cousin.
"I feel fine, but I'm not too sure about Batgirl." Supergirl said with concern.
Supergirl soon flew over to check on Batgirl. Batgirl grunted, but she did wake up.
"Oh, thank goodness." Superboy said in relief since Batgirl woke up.
Mad Harriet soon lunged out at Wonder Woman, making the Amazon Princess drop her golden lasso. Wonder Woman soon pushed her off, causing Mad Harriet to fall over the railing. Speed Queen soon rolled on by, tossing projectiles which Wonder Woman then deflected. Nature Girl soon slammed her hands on the floor to make vines stray out to tie up Speed Queen with.
"Whoa!" Speed Queen yelped as she was tied up by the vines.
"Good luck trying to break out," Nature Girl smirked a bit. "My vines are pretty strong for what they are."
Speed Queen glared as she was now trapped, tied up in the vines. Nature Girl gave a chuckle in victory. Lashina soon tied up Nature Girl in her own whip to electrocute her next.
"Augh! Let go!" Nature Girl cried out as she was shocked.
Vines soon shot out and one of them soon attacked Lashina. Nature Girl groaned and fell, but the vines kept going.
"Nature Girl..." Superboy frowned in worry.
"She had it coming." Lashina smirked as she started to get up.
Superboy glared at Lashina. "You'll pay for that!"
"Oh, like you'd hurt me," Lashina smirked. "I'm a lady and you wouldn't hurt a lady."
Starfire soon flew overhead of them and began to shoot energy blasts at Lashina and the other Furies as Superboy backed away from Lashina before smirking at her as he knelt down beside Nature Girl.
"What are you doing?" Lashina smirked.
Superboy smirked back and then suddenly tackled her to the floor as Mad Harriet dodged Starfire's energy blasts.
"Sneaky, aren't we?" Lashina smirked.
Mad Harriet began to do her best to scratch Starfire before finally getting one scratch on the Tameranian girl.
"Starfire!" Superboy frowned.
"You should be worried about your own fight." Lashina smirked.
Thunder Boy grunted as he tried to make a thunderball to get Lashina off of Superboy, though he seemed to be a bit weak. Superboy glared at Lashina as he fought her, not caring if she was a girl. Lashina glared as she soon did whatever she could to fight back.
"You hurt my friends, I hurt you!" Superboy snapped as he fought Lashina.
"Slice and dice!" Mad Harriet laughed as she began to slash her claws at Starfire.
Starfire was soon scratched after dodging a few scratches. "The Gorka!" she then yelped as she held her arm. "I am oozing the life goop!"
"Come on, Furies!" Granny Goodness called out before she ran off as the others came after her.
"So long, Superboy." Lashina smirked as she pinned down Superboy before giving him a forced kiss on the lips just to mess with him, though he did not take it lightly before she dashed off with the other Furies.
"Hey, Granny." Barda said as she suddenly came to the door before the Furies could leave.
"Out of my way, Big Barda!" Granny Goodness demanded.
The two soon clashed their weapons together.
"I don't take orders from you anymore!" Barda glared right at Granny Goodness. "I make my own choices now!"
There was a jolt of energy which soon rendered Granny Goodness as the loser as the device rolled out in the floor and Barda went to pick it up, but before she could, Speed Queen rolled by and grabbed it before Barda could.
"Can't beat me, Barda!" Speed Queen smirked as she rolled away.
"Bumblebee, sting Speed Queen's skates!" Barda told her fellow classmate.
"Yeah!" Bumblebee smirked as she soon did just that.
Eventually, Speed Queen's skates got hit instantly and the wheels came off and she crashed into a wall. Barda then took the fallen Responsometer off the floor once Speed Queen dropped it.
"Give it back or the Batty gets it." Mad Harriet smirked as she showed Batgirl as her hostage.
The others looked concerned and fearful of what would happen to Batgirl if they refused.
"Supergirl!" Barda whispered right to the Girl of Steel before inclining her head. "Harley's buggy!"
Supergirl looked over and saw the vehicle before taking a deep breath and blew Super Breath at the buggy which made it tilt from its stand as Batgirl ran away from Mad Harriet's grip and the vehicle soon crashed right on top of Mad Harriet.
"That looked like it hurt." Superboy winced with a smirk.
"Glad I'm not her." Supergirl agreed with her cousin.
"Hey! Who turned out the lights?!" Mad Harriet cried out as she was trapped.
Batgirl then smirked as she shot a net from her Batgun right at Artemiz which tied the other girl up. Wonder Woman soon lassoed Stompa before pulling her over.
"Stompa no like lasso!" Stompa glared in defeat as the lasso glowed around her.
Superboy soon came to help up Thunder Boy before the two smiled at each other. Granny Goodness and Lashina soon ran to the door to get out only to be blocked by Barda.
"Come home with us," Lashina told Barda. "You were born a Fury, you will always be a Fury."
"You're right; I was born a Fury, but I've changed." Barda glared.
"She fights for good now!" Thunder Boy added as Lashina glowered towards Barda.
Barda and Lashina began to fight before Barda made Lashina fall to the floor with her weapon as Granny Goodness took that time to save herself and escape.
"Selfish!" Thunder Boy scolded Granny Goodness.
Barda saw Granny Goodness getting out and soon tossed her Mega Rod out to the elderly villainess who was then hit and suddenly fell to the floor in an instant.
"Nice hit." Superboy smiled.
"That's one way to use a Mega Rod." Barda smiled back.
And so, the authorities were contacted to take care of the mess caused by the Furies.
"You okay, buddy?" Superboy asked Thunder Boy.
"I should be fine," Thunder Boy replied. "I'll look up a healing spell if anything serious has happened."
"Is everything okay?" Sombra asked as he came over.
"Uncle Sombra, it was crazy," Superboy replied. "Granny Goodness and the Furies came to get the Response-O-Meter."
"Is anyone hurt?" Sombra asked.
"I might need a healing spell," Thunder Boy said. "Nothing too serious though, except for maybe Starfire's cut from Mad Harriet."
I'll heal both of you, luckily I know a healing spell." Sombra said.
"Oh, you don't have to." Thunder Boy replied.
"It's all right," Sombra reassured. "After all, you're one of my nephew's friends, so I should help you out too." His hands then glowed as he used a healing spell on Thunder Boy.
Thunder Boy looked a bit wide-eyed before he had a bit of a big, goofy smile as he looked relaxed then.
"This should feel much better." Sombra said softly.
"It does~..." Thunder Boy smiled.
"That was amazing." Superboy smiled at Sombra.
"I'll teach it to you some time." Sombra smiled back.
"Can you teach me some spells tomorrow after the games?" Superboy smiled back.
"Of course I will." Sombra smiled back.
This caused Superboy to cheer out of excitement. Thunder Boy smiled at his friend's excitement.
Eventually, Ambassador Bek, Mo, and Principal Waller stood together after the Furies were sent away.
"Good riddance!" Principal Waller said in relief. "The Metropolis Special Crimes Unit will take care of the Furies now."
"I do not envy them the paperwork." Ambassador Bek remarked.
"Who would?" Mo asked.
"I'm just glad the school is safe again." Wonder Woman said as she came by.
"Thanks in no small part to your efforts," Ambassador Bek smiled to both Mo and Wonder Woman. "Which is why I'd like to formally invite you to join us next week for the Summit." he then told the Amazon Princess.
"REALLY?!" Wonder Woman beamed. "Oh, my Hera! My mom is gonna flip her bananas! Thank you, Ambassador!"
"Well, we should all get some sleep." Mo smiled.
"I might be too excited to sleep." Wonder Woman said to Mo.
"Just don't keep me up at night." Mo teased.
And so, the two students went to their dorm rooms for the night as it was quite late and where as Superboy reached his bedroom he was excited as well because he was going to learn magic. Patch and Hal were fast asleep once he came to the room.
"Night, guys." Atticus smiled as he got ready for bed and once he was done, he soon settled down in his bed. He soon closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
"What a night..." Cherry said to herself as she sat in her bed. "Though I think maybe I should become a hero like the others... Maybe even more..." she said before looking a bit sleepy.
A wolf howl was heard outside the window.
Cherry groaned as she went to her window to close it before looking down as she looked a bit wide-eyed and did a double-take as she saw something on the school grounds. "There's a wolf on school grounds!" she then yelped a bit. "I should warn the others before it hurts someone important." she then said, concerned about other students. She soon brought out her communicator and began to inform the others.
Mo tossed her communicator in a corner of her room before smiling as she fell back asleep.
"Ugh! Come on! Someone answer!" Cherry complained.
"Hello?" Thor's voice soon answered.
"Ugh, he'll have to do," Cherry groaned. "Thor, I need to see you right now!"
"Just you and me?" Thor sounded hopeful.
"Yeah! And Atticus and Mo too if possible!" Cherry said desperately. "I think I need you guys here right now if anyone else in school."
"Cherry, what's wrong?" Thor asked.
"There's a wild animal on campus!" Cherry cried out. "Get over here NOW!"
Suddenly, Thor was outside her door and slammed it open. "Cherry? A wild animal?!" he then asked. "Why didn't you just say so?!"
"...How did you get here so-" Cherry asked.
Thor soon came to Cherry's window as they saw a wolf wandering around the school into the night. "We'll need a cage." he then said.
"You're not scared?" Cherry asked.
"Re-lax~," Thor said, forcing his arm around her as he pulled her in beside him. "I deal with stuff like this all the time. We're going down after that wolf and I'm not scared. This sorta stuff happens all the time."
"Uh... Right..." Cherry said.
"But of course, we'll need a steak to lure it," Thor smirked. "Then we'll dispose of it properly."
"I couldn't agree more." Sombra smirked behind them.
"Gah!" Cherry yelped while Thor nearly kicked Sombra in the stomach.
"Whoa! Take it easy," Sombra told them. "I'm not here to hurt you."
"Mr. Sombra?" Cherry asked. "I thought maybe you went home or something. It's bedtime in Superhero High."
"Yes, I know, but a certain student has gotten loose and is out past her bedtime." Sombra said.
"A student?" Cherry and Thor asked.
Sombra nodded.
"All right, but just in case..." Thor said.
The wolf wandered around, sniffing a bit before smelling a steak and went to go get it and began to eat it up.
"GOTCHA!" Thor said as he dropped the cage right on top of the wolf.
"Hey! Let me outta here!" A girl's voice called out. "And maybe I won't rip you to shreds!"
"Okay, he was right," Thor said to Cherry who looked annoyed at being out late with him like this. "I guess I owe you five bucks... Maybe we could make it up over sharing lunch together?" he then asked.
"...Remove the cage right now." Cherry said a bit sharply.
Thor soon removed the cage with a sheepish smile.
"I can't believe you would trap me like that!" The wolf complained in a growly, though still familiar voice. "I should've known this would happen! You'd all treat me like a monster if you knew my secret!"
"...Cathleen, is that you?" Cherry asked as she recognized the voice.
"Yes," The wolf replied. "This happens every full moon. You're lucky we werewolves don't-"
"Actually eat people unless they have a black heart, I know," Thor cut her off knowingly. "I'm well aware of how werewolves work. I just wasn't sure if you were an actual wolf or not since animals aren't allowed on campus."
"Luckily, we'll keep this our little secret." Sombra said as he metaphorically zipped his lips shut.
"It's gonna happen again, isn't it?" Cathleen said in disbelief. "People are gonna treat me like a monster. Just because I'm a carnivore."
"Well, that explains why you eat like a dog." Cherry remarked.
"You wanna start something?!" Cathleen snapped right in Cherry's face, though the perky goth seemed unfazed. "Don't even think about calling me a filthy mongrel or whatever!"
"I wasn't," Cherry said stoically. "And you better keep your voice down if you don't wanna be found out as a wolf."
"Yes, it would be a shame if someone else found out." Sombra said.
"You gonna expose me?" Cathleen glared at Sombra. "I have a killer scent on you and I can smell if someone's lying."
"That's disgusting." Thor said in the background.
"Chill out, Wolfie!" Cherry told Cathleen. "This is my friend's uncle and if you hurt him, I could never forgive myself if it caused Atticus to be unhappy!" she then said a bit protectively, showing how much she had changed since she first met Atticus.
Cathleen growled a bit before changing back to normal. "You're not gonna chase me out of town, are you?" she then asked.
"Only if you settle down," Cherry told the girl. "We have the Intergalactic Games to worry about."
"Hmm... I guess..." Cathleen said to them. "As long as you don't hunt me down and chase me out of town like they did at my old school until Karen took me with her to come to this school. She thought it would be good for me to focus on my superhero identity and calm down my inner wolf."
"Well, she had the right idea in mind." Sombra said.
"If anyone tries to turn on me though, I'm gonna haunt your nightmares." Cathleen threatened.
"Ha! I've had so many nightmares in life that nothing could scare me," Cherry rolled her eyes. "But seriously, keep that anger and wolf instinct in check."
"Also don't think you can scare me pretty easily," Thor told Cathleen. "I grew up in a magical realm, so I've probably seen worse than you can even do."
Cathleen looked a bit firm, but softened up before she finished the steak.
"You do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt anybody," Cherry said as she walked off. "I'm going back to bed."
"I'll walk you there!" Thor said hopefully as he went to catch up with her.
"I shall be on my way." Sombra said as he walked on.
"I'm not sure if I like that guy," Cathleen said to herself as she crossed her arms. "He seems like one of those people with more to him than what he's saying."
Thor smiled as he brought Cherry to her room.
"Okay, thanks, bye." Cherry told Thor as she walked in her room and shut the door, locking it behind her.
Thor sighed a bit before going back to his room as he had something on his mind.
