The next morning came as Mo woke up early and came to see Mr. Magnus. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding, but Principal Waller would like to have a word with you about something that happened last night." she then said to the man with a bit of a yawn since she had work to do last night.

"You seem exhausted, what happened last night?" Dr. Magnus asked.

"It's a long story," Mo said before she suddenly yawned. "Especially because of Granny Goodness along with her little cronies."

"What did they do?" Dr. Magnus asked.

"Tried to get the Response-O-Meter," Mo replied a bit groggily. "My friends and I helped stop 'em though."

Dr. Magnus and Mo were soon in Principal Waller's office. Mo looked very exhausted as she sat in a chair with Dr. Magnus.

"I can't believe all of that was over my gadget." Dr. Magnus said as he held his Response-O-Meter after he was told about last night.

"Superhero High does attract more than its share of super villains." Principal Waller replied.

"I couldn't forgive myself if this ended up in the wrong hands," Dr. Magnus frowned as he stood up, holding the device. "We should destroy it." he then suggested as he put it on the desk, giving it to Principal Waller.

"That's a smart decision, sir." Mo said.

"You're both right," Principal Waller told them as she took the Response-O-Meter. "I'll use a security disposal. It'll be gone for good after that."

"Sounds good," Mo said sleepily. "Can I skip classes today? I'm exhausted from last night."

Unknown to them, Platinum had been spying on them and went to plan her next move.

"Of course you can, Mo." Principal Waller said.

Mo nodded and went to go back to her room as last night took a lot out of her. Principal Waller soon went to dispose of the Responsometer and dropped it through the slot. However, before it could hit the metal grinders, Platinum grabbed the device instantly and tossed out gears and screws to get shredded instead to make it sound convincing. Principal Waller heard the sound and soon walked off as she believed that the job was done. Platinum soon got out once Principal Waller was away and made her way to Sombra and Lena.

"Letting the Furies do the hard work for us was a nice stroke!" Lena beamed as she checked out the Response-O-Meter. "I tipped off Batgirl's security system and bang-bang-bing-bang! The Furies are out and the Response-O-Meter is mine."

"Now if you'll excuse me I have to go find my nephew." Sombra said.

"Ah, yes, I'm sure he's wondering where you are right now." Lena replied.

"The army is 92% complete." Platinum informed as she looked at the Kryptomite army on Lena's screen.

"So great!" Lena giggled evilly. "How cool am I gonna look commanding these things?"

"Very great, Master." Platinum told her.

"And you'll be part of her army." Sombra told Platinum.

"Hey! That was supposed to be a surprise." Lena replied.

"Oops." Sombra said innocently.

"Oh, well, enjoy it," Lena said as she gave the Response-O-Meter to Platinum. "You'll be my first Ultra Bot."

Once the Response-O-Meter was put on Platinum, she soon became alive.

"So, how do you feel?" Sombra asked.

"Whoa... I feel like... I feel... Whoo-hoo." Platinum smiled as she acted a bit more human than robotic.

"Excellent!" Lena smirked. "Soon Metropolis will be cured of its 'super problem'." she then said with a bit of a wicked laughter.

"Yes... Good one..." Sombra replied in a bit of a deadpan tone until he soon left the room and went to find his nephew.

"Hmm..." Atticus paused as he looked in his closet while checking out his clothes.

"I'm sure whatever you wear will be fine." Patch smiled.

"I know, but it's still the Intergalactic Games." Atticus said.

"You want a bow-tie with your cape?" Patch teased.

Atticus rolled his eyes at that before he went to straighten out his Superboy outfit. Patch soon caught the scent of Sombra approaching the room.

Atticus smiled as he got his uniform ready before flinching as there was a knock at the door. "Uh, yes?" he then asked.

"It's me, Atticus." Sombra's voice said on the other end.

"Oh!" Atticus smiled. "Come on in, Uncle Sombra!"

The door soon opened before Sombra walked into the room and saw that Atticus didn't have the room all to himself. Patch did his best to hide away before glancing out a bit.

"I see you have a couple of roommates." Sombra said to his nephew.

"Roommates? Actually, it's just one roommate his name is Hal Jordan AKA Green Lantern." Atticus smiled while keeping his pet well hidden.

"Really? I thought I saw something else in here." Sombra replied.

"Nope, nope, just me and Hal," Atticus grinned innocently. "I think Hal's at the gym right now actually."

"So then I'm guessing you're getting ready for the Games," Sombra said. "And not trying to hide that puppy behind you because I can see its tail."

"D'oh..." Atticus and Patch both groaned.

"I won't tell if it means that much to you," Sombra replied. "I see that this pet is very important to you."

"Yeah, he is..." Atticus said, a bit bashfully. "Especially since Mo introduced me to him."

"I get the feeling that this Mo girl is special to you." Sombra said.

"Yeah, I kinda have a crush on her." Atticus blushed.

"Kinda?" Patch smirked.

"Shh!" Atticus shushed.

"I had a girl who was very special to me a very long time ago," Sombra replied. "It saddens me to say that it ended up not working out, but that doesn't mean it won't for you."

"Thanks, Uncle Sombra," Atticus smiled. "The other reason why I'm in here is because, well, I'm straightening out my superhero outfit."

"You didn't muss it up a bit yesterday, did you?" Sombra asked.

"Maybe just a little bit," Atticus replied. "Nothing too major though."

Sombra soon looked at how Atticus's Superboy outfit was.

"It's a little messed up, but I can fix it up." Atticus said.

"Please, allow me to help, as well as giving you a good luck charm." Sombra offered.

"Hmm... I guess I could use a little help," Atticus smiled. "And I'll need all the luck for us to win."

"I thought you might say that!" Sombra replied before turning away and seemed to use crystal magic without Atticus seeing and then brought out a golden necklace that had a ruby and a black gem known as an onyx on it. "Here."

"What's this?" Atticus asked.

"It's an old family keepsake," Sombra replied. "All the men in our family wore this in times of dire emergency they would need good luck in and they lucky just by wearing it."

"So then did my father wear this before..." Atticus started before looking sad.

Sombra frowned a bit softly. Atticus bowed his head as he couldn't finish his sentence.

"I'll tell you a secret," Sombra said. "He wanted me to have this as a thank you for helping the family... And I wanted to give this to you for when I'd find you again." he then said with a small smile to cheer Atticus up.

"Well, I'm thankful that he gave this to you," Atticus smiled as he put on the good luck charm. "So what did you do that helped the family?"

Patch glanced over as Atticus's eyes seemed to flash red briefly after putting on the good luck charm, but rubbed his eyes as he thought maybe he imagined that since Atticus's eyes were back to normal after a couple of seconds.

"I was very supportive of course," Sombra replied. "Your father and I were very close. I always loved you like my own son, even when you were just a baby."

"Aw." Atticus smiled.

"We're going to have so much fun, especially when I watch you at the games." Sombra smiled back.

"That sounds really great!" Atticus beamed.

"Now let's get to work on your superhero suit." Sombra said.

"Oh, sure, Uncle Sombra," Atticus smiled. "I'm sure it won't be too much trouble."

Sombra smiled back as he helped out Atticus as the Superboy costume got a little messed up. Patch couldn't put his paw on it, but there was something about Sombra that didn't smell right to him but he decided not to say anything.

"Are those black and red sparkles your magic?" Atticus asked Sombra.

"Oh, yes," Sombra nodded. "Magical beings have different colors for their magic which symbolizes them. It's complicated to explain, but it's true."

"That's pretty interesting," Atticus commented. "I can't wait to start using magic myself someday."

"Hmm... maybe you'd like to start now," Sombra said. "I know just the spell that can get us to the games in time without wasting anytime."

"Hmm... Teleportation spell?" Atticus guessed.

"Bingo! And this way we'll find out what color your magic is." Sombra said.

"Interesting..." Atticus replied. "Can you teach it to me?"

"Sure, just repeat after me," Sombra said as he helped Atticus get his outfit ready. "Looks almost good as new." he then said as he gave Atticus his Superboy costume ready as it was clean and patched up after last night's mission.

"Ooh." Patch smiled.

"Look great, boy?" Atticus smiled back as he showed his costume.

"It's as if nothing happened to it." Patch replied.

"Then mission accomplished," Sombra said proudly. "Now say 'Through planes or trains or automobiles'."

"Through planes or trains or automobiles." Atticus added.

"To get out of my current spot, I don't need wheels."

"To get out of my current spot, I don't need wheels."

"I wish to be with my friends and that's no shame."

"I wish to be with my friends and that's no shame."

"Bring me right to the Intergalactic Games." Sombra then finished.

"Bring me right to the Intergalactic Games." Atticus repeated before he seemed to glow a bright blue color and was sent right out his dorm room.

"Whoa." Patch yelped.

Atticus soon appeared at the Intergalactic Games. He looked all around and then smiled once he made it.

"Oh, good, Atticus, you made it," Mo said as she came up to him. "I was just about to call you on your cell."

"You can thank my Uncle Sombra; he taught me a teleportation spell." Superboy smiled.

"That was handy," Mo smiled back. "You ready for another day of the games?"

"Yeah, should be easier now with two schools like it was supposed to be." Superboy nodded with glee.

"That's true," Mo smiled before noticing his necklace. "Nice necklace."

"Thanks, it's a good luck charm from Uncle Sombra," Superboy smiled back. "This is an old family keep sake."

"That's pretty sweet," Mo smiled. "Well, let's get you inside."

Superboy smiled back before they walked inside together for more of the Intergalactic Games.

"Oh, yeah, Battle Bots!" Mo cheered as she went to sit down. "This is gonna be good."

"Yeah, it is." Superboy smiled.

"Hope you're ready for a transfer student in Korugar Academy when it's your turn to fight for the school." Cherry said to Superboy.

"New transfer student?" Superboy asked. "What's he or she like?"

"He's about the same size as you and seems anything but friendly," Cherry replied as a boy with black and white hair was coming up behind the girl, unknown to her though. "He's pretty mean, cruel, and nasty. I hear he's kinda ugly too and could even kill someone on the spot if he wanted to. I've heard he can scare even the bravest of men."

"Oh, why thank you for the flattery." The black and white haired teenage boy smirked from behind them.

Cherry flinched a bit and turned around with wide eyes.

"Hello~" The boy kept his smirk.

"Um, hey," Superboy said, crossing his arms. "So I'm supposed to face you for a big event for one of our schools to win?"

"No," The boy smirked. "I'm the one you're going to face for the big event to let my school win."

"We'll just see who wins... Uh..." Superboy said before drawling on.

"Jackson. Jackson de Vil," The new boy smirked. "And I'm surprised to see that you're still around after that explosion."

Cherry stuck her tongue out at Jackson as she stood beside Superboy.

"Yeah, well, it'll take more than a mere explosion to keep down the Boy of Steel." Superboy rolled his eyes a bit from the threat.

"Yeah, I guess I should have known," Jackson said before leaving them. "Guess I mistook you for that Fudo brat."

Superboy raised an eyebrow as Jackson walked off.

"Yeah, you better walk away!" Cherry called out as she mumbled to herself. "Yeah, just try to sneak up on me, see what happens. Heh."

"Hi, Cherry!" Thor called from behind.

Cherry yelped and jumped to the ceiling, shivering and shaking like a scared cat as she clung up there.

"Oops... I didn't mean to scare her..." Thor frowned before looking at Superboy. "Uh, you okay, SB?"

"It's just... That Jackson kid... He said something pretty strange." Superboy replied.

"You mean that he mentioned your last name for some reason?" Cherry asked before falling back down. "Yeah, that was strange."

Thor soon caught Cherry in his arms before she could hit the floor and looked too happy about holding her in his arms.

"Thor, can you do research for me on that guy?" Superboy asked. "I feel there's more to him than he's saying."

"Sure, buddy!" Thor replied before smiling at Cherry. "Come on, Cherry, let's get you in a nice, warm seat."

"Greeeat..." Cherry rolled her eyes. "Put me down first!"

"Okay." Thor said before putting Cherry down.

Cherry dusted herself clean and walked off with Thor to take a seat. Superboy narrowed his eyes at Jackson as they seemed to flash red again before he went to sit and wait as Harley Quinn and Beast Boy came out as the scoreboard was shown to be tied at 250 points.

"The teams are tied and we're ready for some heavy metal action!" Harley Quinn beamed.

"Yeah-Yeah-YEEEEAH!" Beast Boy beamed as he did an air guitar, thinking of heavy metal music as she said that.

"Not that kind of heavy metal, it's B-Bots battle time," Harley Quinn beamed after putting Beast Boy back in his seat. "Batgirl and Bumblebee are facing off against Mongal and Lobo!"

Both crowds cheered for their respective schools as the cage was set up for the upcoming competition.

"Goodness of morning, Kinifster!" Starfire smiled as she hugged her sister.

"What happened to you?" Blackfire asked as she looked at her.

"Oh, it is only the wound of the flesh from the fight with the Furies last night." Starfire explained calmly.

"You fought the Furies?" Blackfire asked her sister.

"I was not alone," Starfire replied. "Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Superboy, Nature Girl, Thunder Boy, Batgirl-"

"Batgirl?" Blackfire repeated with a scoff. "That non-super?"

"Batgirl may not have the superpowers like you, but she is a true super." Starfire defended.

"Blackfire! The Koruga section is over here." Sinestro said while pointing over to where the Koruga section was.

"Of course, Headmaster Sinestro." Blackfire bowed her head and followed after the adult man.

Starfire watched her sister leave and Blackfire seemed to glance back a bit.

"You are bothered by your sister's injury?" Sinestro asked the girl.

"No way! Of course not!" Blackfire replied. "I was just thinking about how much my powers are greater than hers since I've been in Korugar," she then defended. "The Furies wouldn't have hurt me."

"Indeed, but as long asyou live the Korugarian way you will never need to take risks," Sinestro said firmly. "Your sister was hurt because she fantasizes herself as a superhero. It's abhorrent."

"Agreed, Headmaster." Blackfire replied before sitting down.

Superboy looked around before he saw that Jackson brought out a book and pointed to him, then the book before slamming his forehead against the book to break it in half to represent him "destroying" Superboy in a future match against each other.

"Let us go!" Starfire cheered for Batgirl and Bumblebee who activated their Battle Bots. "The whoo and the hoo!"

Batgirl and Bumblebee's Battle Bots soon charged in before Batgirl's Battle Bot shot Mongal's Battle Bot's right arm off.

"Hey!" Mongal glared before she used her control to bring out a buzzsaw in her battle bot's other arm.

Bumblebee's battle bot then flew towards Mongal's battle bot to hit against it to keep it safe from Batgirl's battle bot.

"Yeah, honey!" Bumblebee cheered.

Lobo's Battle Bot soon tried and get Bumblebee's Battle Bot with a hook and chain as it went after it. Mongal's Battle Bot soon got back up as it looked ready to slice and dice Batgirl's Battle Bot. Batgirl's Battle Bot soon shook and spun around with wings like their own slicers and cut through Mongal's Battle Bot which left it in sliced-up pieces and exploded upon impact.

"What?! How could she?" Mongal pouted in defeat before hanging her head.

Lobo just shook his head as Mongal had lost in the battle of the Battle Bots.

"Oh, yeah!" Cherry cheered.

"Mongal's bot goes without a limp!" Harley Quinn cried. "Oh, the HUMANITY!"

"Did someone call for a manatee?" Beast Boy asked as he turned into said animal.

Harley Quinn then gave an amused smile with a gesture at Beast Boy. Batgirl soon sent her Battle Bot to attack Lobo's Battle Bot. Lobo smirked as he didn't make his Battle Bot move for the first few moments. Batgirl's Battle Bot got closer and closer only for Lobo's Battle Bot to ignite the other one right into flames at the right moment. Batgirl's Battle Bot then fell in the middle of the floor in defeat.

"Oh, no..." Batgirl said as she tried to reactivate her Battle Bot only for it to explode.

Mongal and Lobo shared a smirk before Batgirl shrugged at Bumblebee as she wasn't sure how that happened. Bumblebee's battle bot soon shot lasers at Lobo's battle bot, only for them to deflect off like nothing was happening.

"Must be some powerful metal." Thor commented before eating a hot dog.

"Bot Target confirmed," Lobo smirked as he got ready for his battle bot to fight back. "Guess who's got auto-targeting twerps? Nothing can escape my blasters!" he then mocked as he set the laser blasts right at Bumblebee's battle bot.

Bumblebee's battle bot began to dodge all of the laser blasts.

"Don't worry, I got this. Go small or go home." Bumblebee said as her battle bot shrank down to the size of a bee.

"Be careful, Bumblebee." Superboy whispered to himself.

Lobo's battle bot continued to shoot lasers before suddenly stopping.

"Huh?" Lobo blinked in confusion. "Where did it go?"

"Buzz-ted." Cherry tried to pun.

"Can't shoot what he can't see." Mo smirked.

Superboy laughed a little before looking bashful as Mo glanced over at him, though she glanced away herself, blushing from his laughter.

"Let's see you auto-target this!" Bumblebee mocked as she aligned her battle bot in a special place.

Lobo's battle bot soon tracked down Bumblebee's battle bot and it soon shot itself, dismantling it instantly.

"And Superhero High guuuiiiiiiides!" Harley Quinn beamed as the school won 10 more points and Beast Boy let out a wolf howl as he turned into the animal for their victory.

"I'll show you a wolf howl," Cath muttered to herself. "I just don't wanna show-off."

Thor did a spit take from that, laughing a little like he knew something.

"What?" Cath growled at Thor.

"Sorry, I snorted soda out my nose." Thor chuckled bashfully.

"If you wanna say something, say it to my face, Chubbo!" Cath glared. "You don't know what I can do."

"Don't I?" Thor smirked. "I know a lot of information about stuff from my uncle. He's a genius!"

Cath simply growled at him, not liking how he smirked.

Everyone soon began to cheer for Superhero High as Bumblebee smiled before hugging Batgirl as they won the round.

"Give to me the highest of the five!" Starfire smiled as she held out her hand.

"Oh, yeah!" Bumblebee smiled back as they high-fived. "Thanks, Starfire."

Blackfire frowned softly as that seemed rather nice.

"Remember to focus on the competition." Jackson told Blackfire.

"Erm... Yes, Jackson..." Blackfire nodded.

"I'm gonna have a bit of fun of squashing that Last Punk of Krypton myself." Jackson then smirked as he looked towards Superboy in a bullying kind of way.

"What's your deal? You actually sound like you know him." Blackfire said to Jackson.

"It's a bit of a long story," Jackson smirked as he crossed his arms. "I knew someone in his family. Like his birth family."

"Yeah?" Blackfire asked.

"Oh, yeah, we used to be good friends until he was born," Jackson replied. "We were pretty close until a certain couple of adults decided I was, and I quote, 'extraordinarily dangerous'."

"And this someone would be?" Blackfire asked.

"His older sister." Jackson said.

"He has a sister?" Blackfire asked.

"Oh, yeah, real sweet girl," Jackson informed. "Though she had a bit of a sneaky side to her sometimes, such as reading books after light's out under her blanket with a flashlight or sneaking cookies after dinner." he then chuckled a bit.

"That's rather interesting." Blackfire said.

"I know a bit more than what Superboy even knows about himself," Jackson smirked. "I'm a very clever guy."

Meanwhile with Lena and Platinum...

"Assembling time." Lena smirked as she wore a new outfit.

"Assembling the supers will be fun," Platinum said before smiling and looking quite "normal". "Hey, I know what fun is! ...Neat-o."

"Yes, it will be loads of fun." A male voice spoke.

"What?" Lena blinked in surprise before taking out her earpiece. "How'd you do that?"

"I was so excited about our upcoming triumph, but I could hardly remain a secret whispering in your ear." The male voice replied.

"Whoa! Whose voice is that?" Platinum asked out of genuine interest.

"Uh, just another one of my minions," Lena smiled nervously. "Now... Back to what's important," she then said as she went to the door that had the Kryptomite army inside and smiled warmly at the creatures. "Hello, my babies... Time to play~" she then said with an evil smirk.
