The Tryranozord roars.
In the grounds of Reefside, Ethan and Devin were playing a card game called Dragon War while sitting on a hexagon shaped bench around a tree, which had Cassidy and Kira sitting nearby, Kira writing a new song, Cassidy doing her hair.
"Ooh, enchantment spell." Ethan grinned. "Now your trolls are under my command."
"Counter-spell, bro, sorry." Devin said, putting a card down. "Now they can be released and set loose on your castle."
Ethan put a card down, which had a monster covered with rocks.
"Ooh, Magic Arrow card." he said. "Now my archers can hit five of your warriors with one shot."
"Oh, not if my warriors are wearing enchanted armor." Devin grinned, putting a card of a warrior covered in it, thank you very much."
"This is so completely lame." Cassidy said, looking at them.
"For once, I actually agree with you, Cassidy." Kira agreed.
"You guys just don't understand 'cause you've never experienced Dragon War played to its fullest protentional." Ethan said.
"Yeah. I mean, the intelligence and the concentration that it takes to play this game, is more than most people can comprehend." Devin said.
"Yeah." Ethan nodded.
"Oh, really? That must be why my six-year old brother's into it." Cassidy mocked.
"Besides, you guys know Randell will freak if she catches you." Kira said. "It's against school rules to play cards."
"Dude, can we get back to the game?" Devin asked Ethan. "I believe I was about to charge your castle?"
He put down a card which had five spiked boulders on, then he licked his lips. Ethan sighed and looked at his set, before his eyes widened.
"No way?" he said, looking at Devin. "It can't be?"
"What? What is it?" Devin asked.
"Ruby Dragon card." Ethan said, holding it up, which had a ruby dragon on.
"No?" Devin muttered, speechless. "No way? Th-th-that's impossible?"
"Ooh, what's a Ruby Dragon card?" Kira inquired.
"The rarest and most powerful card of them all." Ethan explained. "Nothing can beat it."
"No way, man." Devin sighed, defeated. "I quit. Game over, you win."
"See." Ethan said.
He grinned, just as Principal Randell came over.
"Hmm? You know, sometimes my job is just too easy." she said.
Devin flinched and closed his eyes, feeling bustard, while Ethan turned and grinned at her.
"Principal Randell, you are looking especially lovely today." he said.
"Mr. James, if your friend Mr. McKnight can't pull that off, then what makes you think you can?" Principal Randell asked.
"Alright. Well, perhaps I can appeal to your sense of compassion." Ethan said.
"If I had one, maybe." Principal Randell said, touching her glasses. "But I don't. So hand over the cards, now?"
"Oh, but... He just go the Ruby Dragon card." Devin said.
"Yeah." Ethan said, showing it to the Principal.
"Oh, oh." she laughed. "Oh, well, you keep them then."
"Awesome." Ethan said, as they laughed. "Oh, sweet."
"Alright." Devin said.
"No. Hand them over?" Principal Randell asked, seriously.
Devin sighed and handed her his set, then Ethan reluctantly did the same.
"Now, off to class." she said.
"I can't believe it. I'll never gonna find another one of those." Ethan said.
"I know." Devin sighed.
They picked up their bags and walked off with the other students, before Principal Randell turned around. She made sure no one was looking, before she took the Ruby Dragon card, thinking of a plan.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" she said. "You look like you'd make quite a fine monster."
She sniggered.
Later, in Tommy's class, Tommy was teaching the class about Dinosaurs from the Jurassic Period, Mei wearing her sports headband. The blackboard was covered in drawings of Dinosaurs and names, including Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Brontosaurus.
"Okay, we got Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Brontosaurus." he said, pointing at them with a stick, before turning to the class. "What are some of the other herbivores from that era?"
He looked at the class, as Mei raised her hand, while Ethan rested his hand on his chin.
"Mei?" Tommy said.
"Camptosaurus." Mei answered.
"Correct." Tommy said. "Any others. Ethan, you should know this? Ethan, you alright?"
Ethan didn't say a word, still bummed about what happened.
"Could someone tell me what the problem is?" Tommy asked.
Kira held her hand up. "It's Principal Randell." she said, lowering it. "She took Devin and Ethan's Dragon War cards."
Devin nodded glumly.
"Dragon War? Isn't that a kid's game?" Tommy questioned.
"Come on, it's a game of strategy for all ages." Ethan argued.
Several of the class laughed, including the other Rangers.
"Well, I hate to side with Randell on this, but you know you can't play cards in school." Tommy said, disappointingly.
"Dr. O, she took the Ruby Dragon card!" Ethan explained.
"Yeah. Dr. Oliver, it was brutal, man." Devin added.
"Alright, look, I'll talk to her after school." Tommy promised. "Maybe I can get them back, but for now, can you guys please pay attention?"
"Hey, anything for you, Dr. O." Ethan said.
Kira sighed and turned away.
At the end of the school day, Principal Randell was in her office, picking up the Ruby Dragon card from a drawer in her desk.
"Now, let's go make you into something big and nasty to defeat the Power Rangers." she said.
The door behind her opened up, then Tommy stepped in, just as she changed into Elsa, as he took off his glasses.
"I knew there was something I didn't like about you." he said.
Elsa opened her eyes and turned around.
"I was wondering how long I could pull this off." she said.
"I have to give you credit, we should've seen it." Tommy said, feeling stupid. "Well, looks like it's all over, Ms. Randell."
"It's a shame, Tommy. We could've had something." Elsa admitted.
"Dream on?" Tommy said.
Elsa got onto her desk and spun around to kick him, but missed as he ducked, then she jumped off the desk. She blocked a kick from Tommy with her left forearm, then blocked a punch with her with her right arm, then she tried to whack him, but he blocked it with his right forearm. She knocked his arm down, then tried to hit him with her right hand, but he blocked it with his left arm, before they grabbed each other's hands. They both twirled around while grappling each other, then hit each other's hands, Elsa's power making hers stronger, which knocked Tommy onto his back.
"Uh!" he moaned.
He looked up at Elsa as she turned back into Principal Randell.
"Hmph." she huffed.
She turned and approached a door, which she then opened, then left the room.
Tommy put his bracelet to his mouth.
"Ethan, get the others." he said. "I just found out something about Principal Randell you're not gonna believe."
Principal Randell walked outside, as Tommy came out of the room and approached a wall, which had a sign saying 'Gymnasium' on. He saw Principal Randell, then chased after her, as she stopped.
"You're not going anywhere." he said.
Principal Randell turned around and charged at him.
They both jumped and kicked each other's feet, then Tommy ducked as she tried to whack him, then she ducked as he tried to punch her, before they moved away. Tommy blocked a kick from her with his hands, then they hit each other's right forearm, before she knocked his away, then Tommy grabbed her right arm as she raised it up. She then blocked his right arm with her left, then he dodged a punch from her, before grabbing her forearm, then she blocked a punch with her left arm, then he blocked a punch with his left hand. She tried to hit him again, but he grabbed her right arm and pulled it down, making her twirl around as she got knocked away.
"Ha!" she said, landing on her feet.
They both glared at each other, then charged at each other, then Tommy blocked a kick from Principal Randell with his hands, then ducked as she tried to again. He sent one at her, which she backed away from, then spun around to try again, but she blocked it with her forearm, then he ducked as she spun around to kick him. She sent an axe kick at him, but missed as he moved away, before he fell back onto a bench, then she came over to kick him, but he blocked it with a kick of his own, then she ducked as he tried to hit her with his leg. The bell rang as she blocked a kick by grabbing his foot, then she lifted it up, making him and the bench back flip.
"AH!" he yelped.
Several students began to come out of the school, as Principal Randell charged at Tommy. She tried to stomp on him, but missed as he got up, making her put her foot on the bench, then she turned and charged at him. He rolled forward as she tried to kick him, then he tried to tackle her, but missed as she jumped up to kick him, but missed as he remained crouched. She whirled her arms around to whack him, but missed as he ducked and ran past her, then she spun around to tackle him, but missed as he jumped to kick her, making him miss too.
More students came out of the school, including the Rangers - expect Ethan - the Rangers all looking shocked by what was happening.
Tommy rolled along the grass to avoid a kick from Principal Randell, then he got up and tried to trip her, but missed as she did a backwards handspring.
"Okay, do you think Dr. O is going just a little over the top trying to get Ethan's card back?" Kira asked.
"Uh, maybe he knows something we don't." Trent reasoned.
"Like what?" Conner questioned.
"I don't know. There's gotta be a reason he's fighting her." Trent said.
"Yeah. Dr. O wouldn't do this without a good reason." Mei agreed.
Cassidy and Devin both came out and stared at the fight.
"Oh, my gosh. This could be the story of the year." Cassidy said, as Principal Randell tried to tackle Tommy, but missed as he did a sideways handspring past her. "'Principal and Teacher at war over Dragon Wars'."
Tommy ran past Principal Randell as she sent a fly kick at him.
"Get your camera." Cassidy said, patting Devin.
"Man, my Mom will never believe this." Devin said.
"So? Start filming!" Cassidy said, annoyed.
"Right." Devin said, as he started searching his bag.
"What is Dr. O doing? He is so gonna get fired." Conner said, as Ethan joined the others.
"It's Elsa." he said.
"Who?" Conner questioned.
"Randell?" Kira questioned.
"What?" Mei questioned.
Principal Randell jumped up and somersaulted away, transforming into Elsa, before she landed crouched down.
"AHH!" several students gasped.
All but the Rangers, Cassidy and Devin began to run off, some losing their bags as they did, as Elsa got up and turned to Tommy.
"See?" Ethan said.
"I so did not see that coming?" Mei gasped, covering her mouth.
Devin closed his camera and ran off whimpering.
"Hey, where are you going?" Cassidy demanded, before she followed. "Oh!"
"You fight well for a Science teacher." Elsa remarked.
"You're not bad for a Principal." Tommy admitted.
"Former Principal." Elsa corrected. "Tell the school board I resign."
She held up her right hand, and vanished via an Invisiportal.
"Wait?" Ethan called. "Oh, don't go?"
His friends turned to him.
"Don't go? Are you kidding?" Conner said.
"She has the Ruby Dragon card." Ethan said.
After school, the teen Rangers were all walking together outside, discussing what they'd recently found out about their former Principal.
"I can't believe we didn't work it out." Conner said, offended. "They look exactly the same expect one has glasses."
"Hey, Clark Kent and Superman look the same and nobody ever puts that together." Ethan reasoned.
"Good point." Conner agreed.
"And this explains why she hates us more than the other students." Mei added. "Since we've been stopping her master trying to take over the city."
"You're right there." Kira agreed.
"I just can't believe she got the Ruby Dragon card." Ethan sighed. "I have been looking for that card since I was a kid."
"Look, maybe I can do something about it." Trent said.
Everyone turned to him.
"Like what?" Ethan asked.
"Look, I don't know." Trent said. "Maybe I can think of something. Just leave it to me?"
He backed away and walked off, as the others turned to each other, before they turned to Kira, who knew Trent best.
"What was that about?" Ethan asked.
"Well, don't ask me? I can't figure him out any easier than you guys can." Kira said.
"And you know him the best out of us all." Mei said.
"Yeah." Kira muttered.
Tommy came over towards them all, as they'd stopped by his jeep.
"Hey, guys, we still meeting later for training at the edge of Meer Woods?" he asked.
"Yeah, we'll be there." Conner said, as Mei nodded.
"Dr. O, who's the new Principal gonna be?" Kira asked.
"That's a good question. I'm going to the school board right now to let 'em know what happened." Tommy explained.
"They might wanna screen the next one a little better." Conner advised.
"Yeah. I'll let 'em know that." Tommy said. "See ya."
He got into his jeep as his students walked off.
"See ya." Ethan said, waving.
In Mesagog's lab, Elsa stood by the Geno-Randomiser panel, Ethan's card inside a container jar which she held as she laughed.
"Now, my little Ruby Dragon, with a flick of a switch, you're gonna make a wonderful new creature, that will destroy those awful Power Rangers." she said.
She put the jar on its holder beneath one of the glass casings, the other two already occupied, as Trent came in.
"Little more free time on your hands now, Elsa?" he asked, getting her attention. "I mean, now that your secret's out?"
"What are you doing here?" Elsa asked.
"What? Is it so wrong for a kid to come visit his father at his work every once and a while?" Trent said, bluffing.
"Is that supposed to be amusing?" Elsa asked.
Trent scoffed. "Actually, I'm here for a reason." he said. "I want the card back?"
"And just like that, I'm suppose to give it to you, huh?" Elsa inquired, snapping her fingers.
"Do you think my father's gonna be happy when he finds out you blew it at the school?" Trent asked, approaching her.
"No happier than your Ranger pals will be when they find out you've been keeping your Daddy's secret identity from them." Elsa said, approaching him.
They both stared at each other.
"Hmm? What's this?" Elsa said. "Silence?"
"Give me the card back, Elsa?" Trent asked.
"Come and get it?" Elsa dared.
"Fine." Trent scoffed.
He tried to punch her, but she blocked it with her left forearm, then she blocked another with her right forearm, before she punched his arm away. She ducked as he tried to whack him, then they hit each other's left forearm, then Elsa hit her right against Trent's right, before she waved her arms around. He blocked her forearm with his own, then grabbed hers and pulled it down.
"OH!" Elsa groaned.
Trent lifted her arm up, making her spin around and move away, then he spun around and sent a kick at her, hitting her hands and knocking her back.
"Ah!" she growled.
"Yah!" Trent yelled.
He jumped and spun around to kick her, but missed as she backwards handspringed away, making her dodge a tackle as he spun around. She then spun around to tackle him, as he jumped and spun around to kick her, making them both miss as they moved past each other. They both turned to each other, then Trent jumped and sent a fly kick at Elsa, who blocked it with her hands, then she jumped and sent one at one, but he blocked it with his forearm. Trent jumped up and spun around to kcik her, but missed as she ducked, then once he landed, spun around to tackle her, but missed as she jumped up.
She grabbed hold of the ceiling and stuck to it, as Trent looked up at her, then he tried to to grab her, but she grabbed his forearms and spread them out, making him spin around and fall onto the floor. She jumped down onto the floor, landing in a three-point stance, then he got up and stared at her, as she looked up, then she jumped up as he spun around to tackle her. She landed on her feet as he backed away, then she spun around, before she charged at him.
Trent turned around and ran towards a table, then kicked his foot against it, then he turned to kick Elsa, but missed as she ducked. He landed on his feet as she kicked hers against the table, then dived to kick him as he crossed his forearms over, knocking him away.
"AH!" he moaned.
Trent hit the Geno-Randomiser, making sparks come out of it, and causing the three jars in it got moved up, putting them in their glass casings. Elsa got up and watched with satisfaction, then turned as Trent clutched himself while turning slightly.
"Yes." Elsa said.
They both stared to the chamber, as stream came into it, then its doors opened up, and out came a ruby-red dragon/orchid/gondola-themed monster came out of it, called Ruby Dragon, after the card.
"What are your orders?" he asked.
Trent pulled himself up and stared at him.
"Get him!" Elsa barked, pointing at Trent. "He's your enemy!"
Ruby Dragon shot lasers from his eyes, which hit the ground around Trent, sending him flying away.
"AHH!" he moaned.
He spun around and hit the floor on his back hard.
"Well done." Elsa said, approaching Ruby Dragon.
Trent tried to sit up as he looked at them, but couldn't.
"You take direction, that's a good sign." Elsa said, touching Ruby Dragon's chin as Trent fell unconscious. "And now, for your next trick."
In a forest, as Tommy stuck something with rope onto a tree, as the other Rangers were looked around for Trent.
"I don't know, Dr. Oliver." Conner said, as Tommy turned to them. "I mean, he's been acting kinda weird lately. Like, there's something he's not telling us."
"Well, dude, you have to admit, Trent isn't exactly the open about what's going on with him." Ethan reasoned.
"Yeah, that's true." Mei agreed. "Still, he's never been like this since he first bonded with the Dino Gem."
"Yeah. And what's with him going after the Ruby Dragon card?" Kira wondered.
"He'll be here." Tommy said. "He probably just got hung up at the Cyber Café."
Ruby Dragon showed up nearby and snorted, getting their attention.
"Speaking of the Ruby Dragon card." Ethan said.
"Elsa didn't waste any time..." Conner frowned.
"...in making it into a monster for us to deal with." Mei finished.
"And if Trent went after the card...?" Kira began.
"Not good." Ethan said.
"We'll find Trent later." Tommy said. "Right now, we have more pressing things to deal with."
"Right. Ready?" Conner asked, holding up his wrist.
"Ready!" the others said, doing the same.
Their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"
They all morphed up and went Super Dino Mode.
"Super Dino Mode!" they shouted, doing their poses.
Tommy jumped and somersaulted forward, slashing Ruby Dragon with his left leg spikes, before he landed. He held his arms out as Ethan and Kira jumped up, who then kicked their feet against his shoulders, boosting them up. They both dived towards Ruby Dragon, then slashed him with their arm spikes, knocking him back slightly. Mei jumped over and somersaulted over the others, then slashed Ruby Dragon down the chest with her right leg spikes.
"Oh!" he moaned.
Conner rammed Ruby Dragon, then grabbed and ran off with him, before he threw him away.
"Uh!" Ruby Dragon moaned, hitting a tree, before falling to the ground on his chest.
In Mesagog's lab, the lab door opened up as Anton walked in, before he spotted Trent lying on the floor.
"Trent!" he gasped, running towards him. "Trent?"
He crouched down near Trent, who moaned.
"Trent, what...?" he said, shaking Trent. "Trent, what happened?"
Trent moaned as he sat up.
"Are you alright?" Anton asked.
Trent moaned as Anton patted his back, before they got to their feet.
"Yeah, I'm just a little dizzy." Trent said.
"Elsa? Where's Elsa?" Anton asked.
"I don't know." Trent replied. "The last thing I remember, is..."
Anton touched his head and began to fall over.
"No!" Trent said, turning to him. "Not now?"
He touched Anton's arms, as Anton touched his own forehead.
"You gotta fight this!" Trent pleaded.
Anton fell to his knees as Trent kept hold of him.
"I can't. It's getting too strong!" Anton said, touching the side of his head. "You have to go?"
"Tell me what to do?" Trent asked. "How can I help you?"
"You can't." Anton said.
Trent looked pleadingly at him, when an alarm blared, making them both turn to the monitor screen.
Ruby Dragon fired lasers from his eyes at the Rangers, who all held their sabers/staff as the lasers hit the ground in front of them, making smoke and sparks come up from it.
"Ah!" they moaned, before they charged forward.
"You're friends are in trouble." Anton said. "They need you. Just go!"
Trent got up and ran off, as Anton touched his head, as he began to turn back into Mesagog.
Back in the forest, Ruby Dragon threw Tommy away, who hit his students, knocking them all down, Conner now holding his blaster.
"Ah!" they moaned.
"The Ruby Dragon always wins." Ruby Dragon smirked.
A bunch of laser arrows hit his back.
"Oh!" he yelped.
He turned around and saw Trent racing towards the scene on his ATV, as the other Rangers got up.
"We'll see about that!" he retorted.
He pulled his ATV over and got off it, then pulled out his sword and rested it on his shoulder.
"I'll handle this freak myself." he said.
He slowly walked forward as everyone stared at him.
"If he's up for the challenge?" he said, as he stopped.
"Trent, that's crazy!" Conner argued.
"Conner's right." Tommy agreed. "He's too strong to take on by yourself."
"I know how to play his game." Trent assured.
"Speaking of games, why don't you tell your friends the truth?" Ruby Dragon suggested.
"I don't know what you're talking about?" Trent scoffed, pointing at him, before clutching his fist. "Now, let's do this!"
He charged at Ruby Dragon, who charged back, then they slashed each other across the chest while passing each other. They both turned and Trent slashed Ruby Dragon's chest, but when he tried again, Ruby Dragon knocked his arm down, then slashed Trent's chest with his hand, knocking him back. They both jumped up and began to streak away, slashing each other twice as they did, before they kicked each other's foot, sending each other flying away.
"AH!" Trent moaned.
Ruby Dragon landed on his feet as Trent hit the ground on his back. The other Rangers all ran towards Trent.
"Trent, you okay?" Tommy asked.
Conner and Kira crouched down near Trent, as the others stood around him.
"Yeah." Trent said, as they stared at Ruby Dragon.
"I got him." Conner said, aiming his blaster.
"Wait?" Trent asked, getting his attention. "Conner, let me take him?"
"What's the matter with you?" Conner inquired, crouching down. "And what is he talking about?"
"Huh?" Trent muttered.
The Rangers all looked around as they heard a noise, when three bolts of lighting shot down towards them all, which hit the ground behind them, creating an explosion.
"AHHH!" they moaned.
They all got knocked up and hit the ground on their backs, expect Kira who hit it on her chest.
"Uh!" they moaned.
Trent panted as Elsa and a bunch of Tyrannodrones came out of an Invisiportal in front of Ruby Dragon. The Rangers all pulled themselves up and stared at them.
"Looks like our ex-Principal's decided to join us." Mei scoffed sarcastically.
"Funny! Attack!" Elsa ordered.
She, Ruby Dragon and the Tyrannodrones all charged at the Rangers, who charged back.
Trent slashed his sword with Elsa's, then ducked as she tried to slash him, then tried to slash her, but she blocked it with her sword. Ethan dodged past a Tyrannodrones, as the others all tried to hit one with their weapons, but the Tyrannodrones blocked them with their tentacles.
Trent sent a kick at Elsa, who blocked it with her sword, then they ran past each other as she tried to slash him, but missed as he ducked. They turned to each other, as Ethan and Mei both dodged a Tyrannodrone each, then Trent and Elsa locked their swords together, before they stood shoulder to shoulder.
"I heard you've been looking for me, Trent?" Elsa inquired, as Ethan and Mei blocked several Tyrannodrone's tentacles with their sabers. "Is there something I can do for you?"
"How about 'Go away forever'!" Trent said.
They both pulled apart, then Elsa ran past Trent as he tried to slash her, before they turned to each other, but then she slashed him across the chest.
"AH!" Trent moaned.
He fell onto his back and rolled over slightly, as Conner got in front of him.
"Now, what fun would that be, huh?" Elsa asked, staring at them. "Then I wouldn't get to see you reveal your big secret?"
"Secret?" Conner questioned, turning to Trent. "What secret?"
"It's nothing." Trent assured. "She's just trying to mess with us."
"Then why don't you tell them?" Elsa smirked.
"Conner, can you take it from here?" Trent asked.
"Yeah." Conner said.
He turned to Elsa and walked forward, before he brought out the Shield of Triumph.
"Mei, Kira, Ethan, you ready?" he asked, as his friends came alongside him.
"Yeah!" they said.
They held their hands like claws on either the top or bottom of their chest symbols, which glowed. as they began sending their energy into the shield, which glowed.
"Triassic Power!" Conner shouted.
His suit began to change into Triassic mode, first his helmet, then his shoulders, then his arms and legs, then his morpher and belt, then his chest.
"Battlizer!" he shouted, holding his morpher up, before he put his arm down sideways and looked at it.
His morpher's headpiece changed into the Styracosaurus one.

"Engage!" Conner shouted, holding his morpher up as fire came out of it.
The fire rose up and changed into the fire rope. He lowered his left arm, then held up his right, then spun around as the fire rope moved around him, then he held his left hand like a claw over his right fist.
"Oh, yeah!" he said, as he held his arms up.
The fire moved from his left to right one, covering his chest in its armor, then he turned to his right arm as a roar was heard.
"Energize!" he said.
He pulled his arm back as it stretched out with its armor on, including the headpiece, then did the same with his left, as its amror and tail came on.
"Fire kick!" he shouted.
He crossed his legs slightly and jumped up, kicking his right leg out, followed by his left as he twirled, fire coming out of them, attaching his boot armor. He landed on his feet as the fire went out, then he punched his right arm to his left.
"Super fire power!" he shouted, pulling his arm back.
He punched it out, as the Triassic symbol appeared behind him.

Ruby Dragon stared at him.
Conner's cannons came out of his back, which rose up and then onto his shoulders, then he grabbed the ends of them.
"Cannons, power up! Battle Blast!" he shouted.
Boosters came out of his back, which boosted him up towards the sky, then he twirled around and fired a crimson blast from the cannons.
The blasts hit a bunch of Tyrannodrones repeatedly, knocking them all away.
Conner landed on the ground as stream came from his boots, before he turned to Elsa and Ruby Dragon.
"Yah!" Elsa yelled, holding her hand up.
She and Ruby Dragon vanished via an Invisiportal.
The Rangers all gathered around Conner.
"Nice one." Trent said, patting his chest.
"Good job." Kira remarked.
"Trent, what was she talking about?" Conner asked.
Trent looked away as the others stared at him.
"If there's something you need to tell us, now's the time to do it." Tommy said.
"We're your friends." Kira said, touching her heart. "Whatever it is, Trent, it can't be that bad."
"Trent, you can tell us what it is." Mei assured.
Trent turned away, not knowing what to do.
In the Dino Lab, Tommy sat at the computer, as the others stood around him, all staring at Trent.
"Trent, we're a team." Tommy said. "We work together, doing something takes the ultimate trust in each other."
"If you're holding back on us, how are we suppose to trust you out there in battle?" Conner asked.
"You're right." Trent sighed, turning to them all.
"So, what is it, Trent?" Mei asked.
"Okay, look, here's how it is." Trent said. "I went to Mesagog's lab to get the card back."
"You what?" Kira questioned, shocked, as the others turned to each other. "By yourself?"
"I found an Invisiportal and it took me right there." Trent said, as he wasn't lying completely. "I was just trying to help you out, Ethan, so I took a shot."
"That wasn't a real smart thing to do." Tommy said, disappointed.
"Yeah, it was stupid." Trent said. "Got knocked out by that thing. I barely made it to help you guys."
"Look, Dr. O, he was just being a good friend." Ethan said. "Any of us would've done the same thing."
"Well, none of you better in the future." Tommy said. "That's all I can say."
"It won't happen again, I promise." Trent said.
"So, that's your big secret?" Kira asked, unconvinced.
"Yeah." Trent lied. "Look, I gotta go. My head's still feeling foggy."
"Okay, get some rest." Tommy said.
"See you guys later." Trent said.
He turned and walked off as the others looked at him, while the wall to the tunnel opened up.
"Something on your mind, Kira?" Tommy asked.
"I don't know." Kira said. "It's like there's something not quite right about him."
"He's had a good knock to the head." Conner reasoned. "I'd be feeling kinda spacey too."
Everyone looked at him.
"I mean, more than usual." he corrected.
"I'm not sure it's that." Mei said.
"What do you mean?" Ethan asked.
"I have a feeling that's not his big secret." Mei said. "I think it's something else."
"Well, why would he lie?" Conner wondered.
"I don't know." Mei answered. "But there's something going on."
The alarm went off, making them all turn to the computer, which showed Ruby Dragon at a valley.
"Let's go." Tommy said.
He got up and backed away towards his students, as they all formed a line.
"What about Trent?" Conner asked.
"Let him get his head back together. We'll call him if it gets really ugly. Ready?" Tommy asked, holding up his wrist.
"Ready!" his students said, doing the same.
Their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"

The screen split into five, Ethan in the top left, Mei in the top right, Tommy in the bottom left, Kira in the bottom right, Conner in the middle. Tommy turned his key in his morpher, as the others pressed the buttons on their morphers, then Tommy raised his left arm up, while the others lowered their arms as the foot symbol appeared on them, then they all back flipped through the air, morphing up. They all landed in their positions, then their helmets appeared on them, then they did their poses as their Dinozords roared behind them.
"Dino Power! Hyah!" they shouted.

They all arrived at the valley, as Ruby Dragon turned around to them all.
"Back for more?" he inquired.
He charged at the Rangers, then ducked as Conner tried to slash him with his saber, before slashing Conner's chest, making him spin around. He then slashed Tommy's chest, flipping him onto his back, then he slashed Kira's as she ran past him. He dodged as Mei ran past and tried to slash him, before he slashed her down the back, then he slashed Ethan's chest, flipping him onto his back. He turned to Conner and blocked his sword with his hand, before slashing and then kicking his chest, sending him flying away.
"Ah!" he moaned.
He hit and rolled along the ground, then he got up and turned around, as the others gathered around him. Ruby Dragon fired purple lasers from his eyes, which hit the ground around them all, creating an explosion which knocked them up.
"AHHH!" they yelped.
Tommy flipped forwards onto his back, as the girls turned around, before they, Conner and Ethan all landed on their backs.
"That was harsh." Conner noted.
Ruby Dragon laughed as Ethan got up.
"Okay, this guy needs a little hover love." he said, before putting his morpher to his mouthpiece. "Hovercraft Cycle!"
It arrived in the area and pulled over, then Ethan jumped over and twirled around, landing on it.
"Punch it!" he said, revving it up.
He raced towards Ruby Dragon, who fired lasers from his eyes, which created an explosion behind him.
"Whoa!" Ethan yelped, skidding his bike.
Ruby Dragon fired more lasers, which created an explosion right near Ethan, but missed him.
"Wahoo!" he whooped, jumping his bike up.
"Huh?" Ruby Dragon muttered, looking up.
"Fire!" Ethan shouted, firing his bike lasers.
They hit the area around Ruby Dragon, creating an explosion around him, as Ethan dived his bike over him.
"AHH!" Ruby Dragon moaned.
"Aerial mode!" Ethan shouted, waving his arms.
Ethan jumped up, then the top of the head of the bike rose up, then its front wheel rotated 90 degrees, then the back wheel did the same. The wheels began spinning around like a hovercraft, as Ethan landed back on the bike, then he took the pedals.
"Afterburners!" he said, revving it up.
Boosters came out of the engine's thrusters, then Ethan raced it forward, before he turned it around.
"Ah!" Ruby Dragon grunted, clutching his chest.
"Full throttle!" Ethan shouted.
He raced his bike towards Ruby Dragon, who fired a laser at him, but missed, then he began flying circles and firing lasers at Ruby Dragon, which hit the ground around him.
"Uh! AH!" he grunted, as sparks came up from the ground. "AH!"
He went flying away and hit the ground on his side, before rolling onto his back. He pulled himself up and stared at the Rangers, before he heard a noise.
"Yah!" it yelled.
Ruby Dragon turned and saw Trent - morphed up - diving towards him, then slashed him twice with his sword. Ruby Dragon grabbed his shoulders, making them grapple each other, as the others watched.
"Trent, watch out!" Conner warned.
Trent put his morpher on Ruby Dragon's chest, sending lighting out of it, which hit him and knocked him back.
"OH! AH!" he moaned, as sparks and red smoke came out of him.
"Let's bust out the Z-Rex on this trading card phoney!" Conner said, holding up his fist.
They all combined their weapons into the Z-Rex Blaster - Trent's sword going on top of Tommy's staff.
"Z-Rex Blaster!" they shouted, Conner holding it up.
He aimed it while the others took their positions, with Tommy in Mei's place from when it was for of them, while Trent took his, as Mei held both Ethan's and Tommy's shoulders.
"Nothing beats the Ruby Dragon!" Ruby Dragon roared.
"Ready?" Tommy said.
"Aim!" Trent said.
"Fire!" Conner shouted.
A blast came out of it with a mouth, which spun around as it shot out, then it hit Ruby Dragon, destroying him.
"AHH!" he moaned, before he blew up.
Conner held up the Z-Rex blaster as the others moved away.
"That got him!" he said.
"Yeah!" Trent said.
The Rangers all turned around, Trent folding his arms, as Ethan and Tommy held up a fist.
"Yeah!" they said.
"NO!" Ruby Dragon moaned, as lighting came out of him.
He fell onto his chest and blew up.
(Mesagog's lab)
Elsa stared at the Rangers on a panel screen.
"Alright, you blew up the little one." she said. "Now let's see what you do with the Big Daddy?"
She pulled a lever up on the Hydro-Regenerator.
"Activate Hydro-Regenerator." she said.
(The city)
A small orange ball with red lines on came out of Ruby Dragon's remains and shot towards the sky, creating a large dark cloud. A large rainstorm came out of it, which hit the ground, the remains, which all rose up from the ground, then Ruby Dragon was reborn a giant.
"The game isn't over yet!" he roared.
"It's Zord time!" Trent said into his morpher.
The Drago and Stego Dinozords came out of a waterfall and approached the area.
"Brachio!" Tommy shouted, putting his morpher to his mouthpiece.
The Brachiozord roared and arrived on the scene.
"Triassic Power!" Conner shouted, holding the shield of Triumph.
Ethan, Kira and Mei held their hands like claws on either the top or bottom of their chest symbols, which glowed. as they began sending their energy into the shield, which glowed, then his suit transformed into the Triassic Ranger.
The Mezodon Rover raced towards the scene, pulling the chariot with it.
"Dr. O, think you can handle the Mezodon?" Conner asked.
Tommy arrived in the Mezodon Rover's cockpit, putting the shield on the podium, which glowed.
"You got it." he said. "Mezodon, online!"
The Mezodon Rover transformed into the Mezodon Megazord, which held up its axes, as an explosion went off behind it.
The Drago and Stego Dinozords both combined into the DinoStegozord, which grabbed its stinger, then spun around with it.
The Tyranno, Tricera, Ptera and Campto Dinozords all combined into the Thundersaurus Megazord, which roared as it held its left arm out, spinning the drill.
"All right!" the Rangers said, Conner lowering his right arm, as the others punched theirs out.
All three Megazords stared at Ruby Dragon, who jumped up and twirled around, before he hovered in the air.
"Nice view." he joked.
He fired lasers from his eyes, which hit all three Megazords, making sparks come out of them.
The screen split into three, Trent in the bottom left, Tommy in the bottom right, the others all the top, all wobbling in their cockpits.
"AH!" they moaned.
"WHOA!" Conner yelped.
"DinoStegozord, Tail Attack!" Trent shouted, crossing his forearms over, his hands like claws.
The DinoStegozord whacked its tail on the ground, then jumped up, spreading its arms out. It then rolled forward while shooting towards the ground, to hit Ruby Dragon all over with its spikes, but he grabbed its back. He then threw it away, which hit the ground hard on its back, making Trent wobble.
"We gotta work together." he said.
"He's right!" Conner agreed.
"Yeah." Tommy said.
"Let's do it!" Trent said.
The screen split into three, the Mezodon Megazord on the left, the Thundersaurus Megazord in the middle, the DinoStegozord on the right, their eyes glowing.
They all lowered their arms as they lit up brightly, golden lighting coming out of them.
"Huh?" Ruby Dragon muttered.
All three Megazords raised their arms up, firing a powerful blast, which hit Ruby Dragon, making lighting come out of him.
"AHH! Agh!" he growled, before he blew up.
His remians all fell towards the ground, then all three Megazords stood at ease.
In Mesagog's lab, Elsa remained by the Hydro-Regenerator, as Mesagog approached her.
"I give you chance after chance, and yet you fail me every time!" he hissed angrily.
"I am sorry, master." Elsa said.
"Sorry is not good enough!" Mesagog hissed. "Your time is running short, Elsa. Soon, I will have no patience for this, and I will be forced to take action."
He hissed as he walked off and left the lab, as Elsa turned away.
"Then I will be also forced to take action. Now..." she said, holding up the Ruby Dragon card. "...let's see how powerful this card really is."
The next day, at Reefside High, the Rangers - expect Trent - all walked down a hallway.
"Well, did you learn something from this Ethan?" Tommy asked.
"Yeah, save the card games for home from now on." Ethan said.
"Dude, how about leaving it for kids from now on?" Conner suggested.
"Yeah, seriously, you're much too smart for that." Kira said.
"And it's not your type of game, Ethan." Mei added.
"You guys still don't get it, but hey, it's alright. I wouldn't expect you to understand." Ethan said.
Kira scoffed, when Anton and Trent showed up in front of them all, making them stop.
"Hey, Anton." Tommy said.
Anton and Trent turned to them all.
"How are ya?" Tommy asked.
"Tommy, I'm fine." Anton said, shaking his hand. "Hey, I understand you're looking for a new Principal?"
"Why, you interested?" Tommy asked.
Kira, Mei and Conner all turned to each other, all not liking that idea.
"I'm sure Dr. Mercer's far too busy to run a school." Kira said.
"Yeah, no offence, but you barely had time to cover Dr. O when he was sick." Mei recalled.
"Yeah, far too busy." Ethan added.
"Hey, relax everybody, she's right." Anton said, before his phone beeped. "Oh, see? Even as we speak."
He took his phone out of his pocket, before the Ruby Dragon card fell out of his pocket and hit the floor. Everyone looked at it in surprise, as Elsa had planted it on him, before Ethan bent down and picked it up.
"Uh... How did you get this?" he asked.
"Honestly, I don't know." Anton said, taking it. "Trent, is this yours?"
"No." Trent said truthfully, scoffing. "I don't know how it got there."
His friends looked at him puzzled, before Anton fell slightly.
"Anton!" Tommy gasped, as he and Trent caught him. "Are you alright?"
Anton looked at him, knowing he was changing back into Mesagog, before he turned and fell to his knees.
"I'm fine." he lied, panting. "Just leave me alone."
"He doesn't look fine." Mei whispered.
"No, he doesn't." Ethan agreed.
"We should get you some help." Tommy said.
"NO!" Anton insisted.
He got up and ran off, then the Rangers ran after him, expect Trent, who turned around.
"Leave him alone!" he called, knowing what was happening. "He'll be fine!"
He began chasing after the others, pushing past students as they did, as Tommy turned around.
"He needs a Doctor." Tommy said, as he turned left down the hallway.
Anton kept ahead of the Rangers as his left hand glowed, just as the Rangers turned right down a hallway and chased after him.
"Anton, wait?" Tommy called, as Anton turned right.
Anton opened a door and kept on running, looking back.
"Please, leave me?" he begged, turning away.
The door closed as Tommy made it there, who opened it up as the Rangers kept chasing Anton.
Tommy soon entered his classroom, followed by his students, all stopping by the desk and staring at Anton. Trent moved past Kira as Anton turned so his back was to them, his eyes orange, panting hard. He then turned around to the Rangers, and transformed into Mesagog, shocking all but Trent.
"No way?" Conner gasped. "Mercer is...?"
"Mesagog?" Tommy muttered.
"Oh, this is one crazy week." Ethan said.
"You can say that again?" Mei said sarcastically.
"This is your big secret?" Kira asked Trent. "You knew this all along?"
"He's my father." Trent reasoned. "How could I tell you?"
"You will pay for betraying me, Trent!" Mesagog growled, as Trent shook his head. "You will pay dearly."
"I never betrayed you!" Trent insisted.
"You betrayed us, if anything!" Conner snarled, savagely.
"Silence!" Mesagog roared.
He transformed back into Anton, who fell to his knees and touched his head, before he looked up, sweat pouring from him.
"Trent, I'm sorry." Anton breathed.
He held his hand up and vanished via an Invisiportal, as Tommy took off his glasses.
Trent sighed and lowered his head, as the others stared at him, all feeling betrayed by what they found out. He turned to them all, as Tommy shook his head, making him turn away, knowing he was gonna have to fix this.
