"What do you mean, we're snowed in?" Draco asked, frowning at the door.
"I'm not sure how many meanings those words in that order could have to be honest," Harry replied. "There's snow surrounding the cabin and we're gonna be stuck here until it melts. Is that better?"
"How the hell did we—nope, do not answer that."
Harry snorted. He slumped down on the little sofa, and tugged one of the blankets there over him.
"We can just Apparate out," Draco pointed out, but Harry shook his head again.
"Nope. Robards said no magic."
"Surely being snowed in is an exception to that rule?"
"Feel free to try it and see what he says," Harry offered. "Personally, I like not being on desk duty. But you know, feel free."
"You're really not helping here, Potter."
"What exactly would you like me to do?" Harry asked. "We're stuck here until the snow melts and we can get the hell out of the no magic zone."
"I hate you."
"Uh huh. Sure."
"Why did I get landed with you as my partner?"
"You're just that lucky, I guess."
…
"Potter, I'm bored."
"I'm Harry, pleased to meet you."
"Ass."
…
"Share the goddamn blanket then."
…
"Are you—What are you doing—Are you cuddling me?"
"Shut up and go to sleep, Draco. Huddling for warmth is a survival skill."
…
"How has there been more fucking snow?"
"Draco… What's your damage right now? We're literally getting paid to chill in a cabin for a few days."
"I don't like feeling trapped," Draco admitted. "Bad memories."
Harry softened a little. "Look at it this way. If we absolutely have no other option, we can Apparate to safety. We just shouldn't if we have other options, okay?"
"I… okay."
…
"What are you doing?"
"You said huddling for warmth is survival. I'm surviving."
"You just want a cuddle. You can admit it, I don't mind."
"Shut up, Potter."
