King Simba and the group headed back toward the Pride Lands. Once within sight of Pride Rock, Queen Nala looked back at her mate.
"Simba?"
The gold lion cleared his throat, with Kiara still in his mouth. Nala smiled back at him, understanding that it's time for The Talk. She remembers her father-in-law having that same look after the graveyard incident.
The tawny lioness and the rest of her and her brother's group continued on towards the kopje.
Simba watched for a moment longer before he placed Kiara on a rock, who grins innocently up at him; for her father to only glare sternly back.
Kiara's smile fell as she looked at the ground, sighing.
"Kiara, what did you think you were doing? You could have been killed today. As well as Sherise."
Kiara shook her head before she tried her best to explain. "But Daddy, I- I didn't mean to disobey-"
Simba erupted his daughter as he began to pace. "I'm telling you this because I love you. I don't want to lose you."
Kiara sighed as she lowered her head. "I know..."
Simba stopped pacing and turned to nuzzle his daughter before stepping back. "If something happened to you, I don't know what I'd do. One day I won't be here... and I need you to carry on in my place. You are part of the great Circle of-"
Kiara rolled her amber eyes as she once again repeated along with her father. "Circle of Life. I know."
Simba inhaled and exhaled. "Exactly. And you need to be careful. As future Queen-"
Kiara turned away from the king. This is all she ever hears. "But what if I don't wanna be Queen? It's no fun."
Simba frowned before sighing. It was like looking at into the past. "That's like saying you don't want to be a lion. It's in your blood... as I am. We are part of each other."
The gold lion smiled and playfully shoves the gold heiress off the rock. When Kiara looks up at her father, Simba grins before they nuzzle as Simba begins singing.
`As you go through life you'll see
There is so much that we
Don't understand`
A mother bird sternly prevents one of her chicks from trying to fly; while a wildebeest calf gets up for the first time as they watch.
`And the only thing we know
Is things don't always go
The way we planned
But you'll see every day
That we'll never turn away
When it seems all your dreams come undone`
Monkeys who were in the trees grooming each other, as hippos were jumping and playing in the waters under a log bridge.
`We will stand by your side
Filled with hope and filled with pride
We are more than we are
We are one`
Kiara looks at her reflection in the river before she start to sing. A fish jumps out of the water and into her reflection.
`If there's so much I must be
Can I still just be me
The way I am?
Can I trust in my own heart
Or am I just one part
Of some big plan?`
The wind blows as father and daughter stood on a tree. Simba closes his orange eyes as the king feels embraced by his father's spirit.
`Even those who are gone
Are with us as we go on
Your journey has only begun
Tears of pain, tears of joy
One thing nothing can destroy
Is our pride, deep inside
We are one`
The two ran through groups of curious but unafraid animals, many with their young, as they approach Pride Rock Simba is still singing.
`We are one, you and I
We are like the earth and sky
One family under the sun`
Running up Pride Rock. Simba looks at the kopje as he continue to sing to the princess.
`All the wisdom to lead
All the courage that you need
You will find when you see
We are one`
Simba walks over to his daughter and nuzzles her. Giving a bit of comfort as he could clearly see the confusion in her youthful amber eyes that reminds the king of his beloved deceased father.
"As long as you live here, it's who you are." he hugs her and licks her side, lifting her body off the ground. Kiara still seems unconvinced, "You'll understand someday."
A bird flutters by her, circles, and flies off over the Pride Lands into the sun. Kiara looks sadly thoughtful for a second, and then turns to face the sun. Sitting down, she looks at the ground for a second, brown rimmed-ears flat, but then looks towards the sun, with her ears erect.

At the old Lion Guard lair, was Sherise and her mother, Rosa. After returning Prince Jesús dropped the brownish cub with Rosa.
After the pale beige lion left, the tannish lioness sharply turned on the cub making Sherise back up.
"How dare you!" Rosa growled. "Put the princess in danger! After everything-" Rosa stopped herself before narrowing her hazel eyes. "You ungrateful brat!"
Sherise was speechless. Never had her mother yelled at her. Yes, a bit cold at times like Zuri and Liz but never had she yelled at her like now.
"I'm disgusted! Spend the night here! Maybe you'll learn your lesson,"
With a swish of her tail, Rosa stormed out of the lair leaving a confused and sobbing Sherise to sleep in the empty cave alone.
...
(A Few Days Later)
Racing through the Pridelands in a game of baobab fruit ball, was Prince Kion and his best friend, Bunga. The grey honey badger was one of Kion's most trusted companions.
Bunga was adopted by Timon and Pumbaa, a week after Kiara's royal heir-naming presentation.
Kion and Bunga ran through the Pridelands passing the baobab fruit back and forth before the fruit went over a cliff that leads into the Outlands.
"Oh man. There's our game." Kion sighed before turning to head back home.
"Come on Ky'. What could happen?"
Kion frowned as he watched one of his closest friends leap down the piles of rocks before running over to the yellow-green fruit.
Kion gasped when he saw that Bunga wasn't alone. "Bunga, look out!"
Before Bunga could respond a hyena that the young friends unfortunately knew as Chungu picked the young greyish honey badger up as another hyena, Cheezi appeared laughing.
"Janja will be most pleased!" Cheezi laughed.
"H-hey! Let him go!"
The hyenas laughed as they looked up at Kion. When Kion didn't move the greyish hyena and his comrades laughed before the greyish hyena turned to Bunga. "Maybe we pick a little off cause, I'm starving."
"No!" something in Kion snapped. The goldish cub's dark orange eyes began to glow. "Let him go!"
Kion roared which sent the hyenas tumbling back. When Kion stopped roaring, he looked around before taking a deep breath. "Hevi kabisa! What was that?"
Priderock
"That was Kion's roar?'' Nala asked Rafiki, who laughed as he stood at the peak.
Across from the Royal pair was Naira. Who absolutely didn't want anything to do with Simba. Now that he wasn't under her influence anymore.
But the creamy lioness was mainly here because the queen wanted to keep a close eye on her heavily pregnant sister.
Mheetu who was closer to her brother-in-law and sister, shook her head in annoyance at the expression on Naira's face.
The gold lioness could honestly say, she never did like Naira, even when she was a cub, growing up under her father's rule.
Now, after manipulating her cousin, not to mention the king she wants to act like she is above all.
''Yes Nala, yes!'' Rafiki replied, "The prince is ready..It Is Time!''
''No, Rafiki.'' Simba said shaking his head, ''Kion can't possibly be ready, he's still a cub.''
The gold king was then hit on the head with a stick.
''Ow!" Simba yelped before looking at the Royal Mjuzi.
''Simba, you heard the roar!'' Rafiki reminded the king of the pridelands.
''But..it's just..it's a big responsibility,'' Simba said reluctantly. ''I need more time to prepare him.''
''You ran out of time, cousin.'' Mheetu told the older male, ''You need to tell him.''
''Tell me what, auntie?'' Kion asked his aunt as he and Bunga walked over to the gathered adults.
Mheetu turned to her mate's half-brother and the Royal Mjuzi who turned to Simba.
''Well..um..we need to talk, Kion.'' Simba said after taking a deep breath, said and his son instantly had a look of fear.
''Oh no..dad, we already had that talk. 'Can you feel the love tonight'!'' Kion said in a annoyed tone.
Simba looked at Nala and Mheetu, who snickered in amusement at the king's torture.
Simba cleared his throat before looking back at his son. "No. I'm gonna talk to you about something else..follow me.'' Simba said, both of Kion and Bunga was confused but followed after the king.
