Ep 7: Phobia Factor
Last time on Total Drama Island…
Campers had their survival skills put to the test. They spent the entire night camping in the woods. Cameron got lost in the woods, after Owen abandoned him after seeing a bear. Duncan's mad ghost storytelling skills freaked out the Killer Bass, and uh Izzy played a prank on the Gophers by dressing up as a bear. Unfortunately, a real bear showed up and the gophers spent the night up on a tree, which really stunk for them and then it rained. So basically no one got any sleep tonight. Ultimately The Screaming Gophers were the big losers, and it was Cameron without a marshmallow due to his injuries.
The scene was now transitioned into daytime with Chris still picking at wood.
Yep, the challenge was rough all right, and if I have anything to say about today's will be even more brutal, luckily I do. What fresh horror have we planned for our campers? Find out next on TOTAL…DRAMA…ISLAND!
(Opening Credits)
Various Camera shots can be seen popping up, while a few wildlife were also shown, some on the camera.
(Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin fine)
The camera goes up onto the 1000 ft cliff and jumps off of the cliff into the water.

Owen swims through the water and kills a fish with his fart, Cameron is also in the water and is farted on by Owen, however before he can react a fishing pole grabs Cameron.
(You asked me what I wanted to be, and now the answer is plain to see)
B is on a boat fishing for fish, he accidentally grabs Cameron and sends him flying. An eagle also picks up the dead fish that Owen killed.
(I wanna be famous)
Ella and Dawn are next to each other. Dawn is meditating and Ella is singing to the animals. The dead fish drops on them and they both scream. Duncan laughs at this; however, Courtney appears and puts a stern glare that puts Duncan's laughing to rest. Cameron can be seen falling in the background as well.

Amy and Leshawna are fighting on a canoe that eventually falls off a waterfall.
(Well, pack your bags, cause I already won)
Harold is on a log, practicing his karate skills while Amy and Sammy are falling in the background. Izzy, swinging on a vine, crashing into Harold.
(Everything to prove, nothing in my way)
They both collide into the confessional where Lindsay falls out because of the impact of the crash.

Chef has his hand in a pot, with a mischievous smirk, most likely cooking something. Staci and Tyler are both tied up, they both look scared.
(Cause I wanna be famous)
Alejandro is flirting with Heather. Heather is glaring at him, not happy with him there. While Justin is admiring himself.
(Na nananana ,nanananana nananananana)
Shawn is sneaking around places as he doesn't want to be caught by the "zombies."

Topher and Dakota are on the dock, both battling to be on the screen.

Water is poured on both of them by Chris in a helicopter, both seem a bit worried about their clothes. The water turns into the night sky where we see Sammy and Brick about to kiss before Chris interrupts with a marshmallow ruining the moment. The other campers look embarrassed. The last few moments are whistled.
(Dock)
The scene started in the night, right after Cameron was eliminated. Alejandro was on the dock looking into the distance, mumbling under his breath.
"Cheer up Al." Ella said, trying to make Alejandro feel better. "You'll see our dear friend, Cameron eventually."
"Oh." Alejandro said, with a fake level of surprise. "He will?"
"Yes, and just know he's rooting for us, wherever he is at the moment." Ella said, cheering up the mood.
"Is that so amiga?" Alejandro asked curiously knowing he had told Cameron about his intentions.
(Bonfire Pit)
Ella and Alejandro had walked back to their team. The Screaming Gophers looked very tired and worn out, Ella didn't notice as she was still talking with Alejandro. He didn't care but "listened" so he could get her vote.
"So, if you ever feel down again Alejandro just remember all the wonderful things I said." Ella said, smiling about Alejandro.
"Oh yes, indeed I will think of the wonderful things you said Ella." Alejandro said with a fake grin, she smiled back.
(Confessional)
Ella: Alejandro is a very nice teammate to have and an attractive one, although at some parts of the story I told him he looked a bit bored. I hope that wasn't the case.
Alejandro: Ella's a sweet and nice girl, someone I wouldn't mind chilling with her sometime, however I'm doing whatever it takes to win, and if it takes listening to a boring story will Ella, so be it.
A few moments later the Killer Bass came with goat meat. "So we brought back some goat meat from the tuck shop so if you want any, here." Shawn said, offering the meat.
"But, what if y'all are playin us?" Leshawna said, raising his eyebrow.
"Ok, fine, we were trying to get sleep, but Harold's snoring was annoying us all, so now we're here." Courtney said, visibly annoyed.
"Gosh, I already said, I can't help it." Harold said, crossing his arms.
"So, you and your sleeping mouth should've just slept outside." Courtney said retaliating.
"Alright, alright are you two nerds, done fighting." Duncan said intervening. Shawn brung the food to a few of the Screaming Gophers until he got to Amy.
"GOAT! GOAT! Get it AWAY FOR ME." Amy said, screaming like a baby. Leshawna chuckled.
"She's afraid of goats, always has been." Sammy said, smirking.
"Oh yeah, why don't you tell us your fear SAMEY!" Amy hissed. Sammy sighed sadly.
"Amy." She said to the others sadly.
"HAH! And that is why I am and always will be the inferior sister." Amy said crossing her arms and smirking, Leshawna starts walking towards her, Topher knows instantly and prevents her from going forward. "Pathetic." was Amy's only response.
"Don't worry Sammy, my brother Jose, is my fear and my rival." Alejandro said, a bit angrily.
"You're afraid of your brother, wow." Duncan commented. "That's a bit lame bro."
(Confessional)
Ella: Suddenly everyone was telling us their fears, like Shawn went on about his fears of zombies, Harold's afraid of ninjas, and B is afraid of…speaking?
"My biggest fear." Ella said as everyone was now around the fire telling their fears. "Having to hurt someone, or taunting a person. It just doesn't fit right with me."
"Walking through a minefield, in heels," Lindsay said.
"Flying man." Owen said with a scared expression. "That's some crazy stuff.
"I would never go up in a plane, never." Izzy said looking up into the sky.
"I'm scared of the dark, it just is so scary and black, and…." Brick trailed off.
"Bad haircuts." Dakota said, with Topher agreeing in response.
"Oh, ok," Lindsay said with her mind changed. "I change mine, that is so much scarier than a minefield."
"Spiders, those bugs give me the creeps." Leshawna said, looking around.
"I'm not really afraid of anything." Courtney said confidently.
"Baloney." Duncan said, doing a fake cough with a smirk.
"Oh, really then what exactly is your phobia, Mr Know it All." Courtney said, teasing Duncan, as everyone looked at the bad boy wondering what his fear was.
"C-Celine Dion Music Store Standees." Duncan said sheepishly.
"Excuse me, I don't think I heard that right bro." Owen said with a giggle.
"And you call me pathetic." Alejandro said responding to his earlier claims, a few people look his way. Duncan looks embarrassed.
"Oh, I love Celine Dion Standees." Lindsay but got confused. "What's a standee?"
"A standee is a life-sized cardboard cutout but flat." Alejandro explained.
"So, if we had a cardboard standee right now." Courtney said teasingly.
"Shut it." Duncan said, annoyed greatly. "What about you guys?"
"I am afraid of our nature getting hurt, I can't stand to see anyone hurt our beautiful creatures. Those people are monsters." Dawn said, as her voice raised a bit.
"Ok, Courtney it's your turn, you have to be afraid of something right?" Brick said, looking in her direction.
"Nope, nothing." Courtney said with confidence.
"That's not what she said last night." Duncan said giggling with B and Topher.
"Duncan." Courtney started. "Did you ever consider that maybe I was just humoring you and your lameo story."
"Sure, sure princess, whatever floats your boat." Duncan said.
"Shut it!" Courtney yelled.
(Mess Hall)
"Campers." Chris announced as it was now broad daylight, and all the campers were sitting at their table. "Your next challenge is a little game I like to call, phobia factor, prepare to face your worst fears."
"Worse than this?" Leshawna asked.
"I think we're doomed." Sammy said with a bit of fear.
"Now for our first victims, Alejandro, meet us in the theater it's time for you to fight your brother." Chris announced Alejandro spit the drink he was currently drinking.
"What." He could only say.
"Amy, you, me, goats, at the beach, yes indeed." Chris said, making Amy shocked with her mouth hanging.
"Wait, how did they know, those were your worst fears?" Lindsay asked.
"We told them last night Lindsay." Amy said very snarkily. "Dummy." She mumbled under her breath. Lindsay looked confused.
"Yesterday, at the Bonfire Pit." Alejandro said, reminding the girl.
(Flashback)
"Alright, alright are you two nerds, done fighting." Duncan said intervening. Shawn brung the food to a few of the Screaming Gophers until he got to Amy.

"Wait." A confused Lindsay asked. "They were listening to us?"
"They're always listening to us, Lindsay." Ella said, trying to be polite.
"That's like eavesdropping." She was shocked.
"Chef Hatchet, didn't you have a special room for Brick." Chris said smirking at Chef who nodded, as a fearful Brick was worried.
(Flashback)
"I'm scared of the dark, it just is so scary and black, and…." Brick trailed off.
(End of Flashback)
"Y-yes sir, I'm c-coming.." Brick stuttered a bit from his fear, as he walked into the room.
"So, while he tries to stay in the dark for 10 minutes. Does anyone want some green jelly? I picked it up because the interns didn't want it." Chris said, offering it.
"Ew, no that's disgusting." Courtney said as everyone looked her way. "I meant that I'm not hungry for it, yeah."
"Ok then." Chris said, keeping his eye on Courtney. "Anyone else."
Not a second later, a scream could be heard from the dark room. Brick ran out, revealing he was sweating and had peed his pants.
"Wow gross dude." Chris said, taking a good look at Brick." Looks like Brick doesn't earn a point for his team. So to save Brick the embarrassment let's move on.
(Campgrounds)
For Amy's challenge she had to get into a pen with goats in it, and stay there for 10 minutes, she hid in a corner the whole time, succeeding gaining her team a point.
"Uh, yeah I like,meant to do that." Amy bragged, but covered her nose after the smell of goat poop was present in the area.
(Mess Hall)
Meanwhile Topher, Lindsay, and Dakota had to wear a wig for the whole day as their challenge, all 3 looked worried.
(Flashback)
"Bad haircuts." Dakota said, with Topher agreeing in response.
"Oh, ok," Lindsay said with her mind changed. "I change mine, that is so much scarier than a minefield."

However as Chris was about to put the wig on, Owen snatched one of the wigs from Chris, doing a little dance, Owen tripped on a log, and Chris got his hat back placing it on top of all 3's heads.

"Flying man." Owen said with a scared expression. "That's some crazy stuff.
"I would never go up in a plane, never." Izzy said looking up into the sky.

(Campgrounds)
Owen and Izzy had to go up onto Chef's plane for their challenge, to try and conquer their fear of flying. The two immediately scream as they go up in the plane.
(Communal Bathrooms)
Harold was in the bathrooms, on the toilet, reading a newspaper. Until 3 ninjas came in , Harold held up his nunchucks, however unfortunately he would end up knocking himself out, gaining no points for his team.
(Campgrounds)
The Screaming Gophers were having some trouble, Leshawna was trying to escape from Chef who was dressed as a spider, chasing her. The others looked in disapproval and shock.
(Amphitheater)
"Alright bro all you gotta do is beat your brother." Chris said to Alejandro who was on the stage, everyone wanted to see this battle, and had come to watch. He looked in horror as he saw his older brother.
(Confessional)
Alejandro: My entire life, Jose has been better than me at everything, academic, sports, and yes, even person grooming, well not this time. He will go down.
"Al, nice to see you little bro, you look more pathetic and weak than I thought." Jose taunted. Jose had on similar clothing as Alejandro, however his sweater was blue, he had a goatee, with brown hair sticking up tall as the wind.
"Oh family drama, my favorite, and go!" Chris announced through his microphone, as both were handed boxing gloves.
The fight had started, both Burromento's were packing punches to each other, Jose had the dodge, while Alejandro had the speed, it's intense.
"Why are they only going with body hits, it's weird." Duncan said with a bored face
"It's a family tradition." Dawn said, appearing out of nowhere.
The fight was now heating up, Jose started packing a bunch of punches at Alejandro, who dodged at first but couldn't handle the punches, knocking him onto the floor, and to be laughed at by his brother.
"Looks like you're still a little baby Al, you are nothing compared to me amigo, I think you should just give up now, you've already embarrassed yourselves once." Jose chuckled, while everyone looked in shocked.
"NOT ANYMORE JOSE!" Alejandro screamed miraculously, getting up, as he started doing a combo on Jose, something he couldn't dodge, and ended it up with a good uppercut to Jose's jaw knocking him out.
"Well we have a winner, and that is clearly Alejandro, the Screaming Gophers get a point." Chris announced as the team got a point. "Also could we get some help for Jose, that uppercut seemed like it hurt."
The Sky)
Owen and Izzy were way up in the sky, still screaming for dear life in their very plane.
(Forest)
"For you guys." Chris said, pointing to both Ella and Dawn. "Your challenge is pretty simple. Ella you need to cause injury or harm to a certain animal and Dawn you will need to watch Ella do that act."
"Chris, this doesn't seem fun." Ella said sadly.
"Speak for yourself." He said laughing.
"That is it.' Dawn said "I won't do this challenge, I don't care if I don't earn a point for my team, there is now way I can watch poor animals get hurt.
"Sorry, Christopher but I have to agree with Dawn." Ella said. Chris gave a blank face, but let them walk off.
(Campgrounds)
Sammy was sitting on a log looking into the distance, thinking about something, until Brick came over, and sat with her.
"Oh, hey Brick." Sammy said, noticing that Brick had sat next to her.
"Hi." Brick waved at her. "So, why are you sitting alone, shouldn't you be with your team?"
"Ok, then why aren't you in your team, did someone get scared again." Sammy said, smiling as Brick looked away in embarrassment.
"No, I just… didn't have anything to do." Brick said, scratching the back of his head, still embarrassed by Sammy's comment, but also smiling.
"Well, on my team." Sammy started. "A lot of drama goes on, and it feels so heated that sometimes I think that maybe I don't belong here or on this team."
"Well if so, don't you have friends to cheer you up?" Brick asked.
"No, not really, Amy bullies me, almost always and my only friends are really you and Leshawna." Sammy said feeling guilty.
"Well, why don't you stand up to your sister, and tell her what you have in your mind?"
"I'm a bit scared to do so, she might shame me, or do something I might regret for the rest of your life."
"It's ok, don't worry about it. Do what you think is right. It's one of the things that we learned in cadet school, you're also pretty attractive so-" Brick realized what he said and clamped his mouth shut before he could continue his speech. He looked at Sammy who was blushing heavily from the comment. "Uh, well, I meant-"
"It's ok Brick, thanks for the advice." Sammy said as she walked away still blushing, leaving just a flustered Brick.
(Confessional)
Brick: I'm glad I was able to try and help Sammy with her problems, hope she got my advice and my comment. (he chuckled, while looking embarrassed)
Sammy: It was really nice of Brick to help me with my problem, and he called me attractive and I've never…been called that. (similar to Brick she smiled and looked embarrassed)
(Forest)
"Alright B, your challenge is to speak." Chris said as the two of them were alone in the forest, preparing for B's challenge. B looked confident.
"Ok." B said. He had a very deep and low voice, as he mumbled very quietly as the wind flew. Chris looked suspicious.
"Wait, was that even your fear?" Chris asked, now looking angry, B shook his head. "What, so you lied about your fear, oh come on man. You get a pass I guess." Chris said angrily.
(Confessional)
B: (B put a thumbs up in the air, with his finger pointing to his brain trying to say that it was a smart thing to do
(Commercial Break)
(Campgrounds)
"Ok, Owen and Izzy will be landing very soon." Chris said through his airhone looking at his watch. "Alright Sammy you're up."
(Flashback)
"Oh yeah, why don't you tell us your fear SAMEY!" Amy hissed. Sammy sighed sadly.
"Amy." She said to the others sadly.

Everyone that wasn't doing a challenge was surrounded around Chris and Sammy. "All you have to do is punch and say something bad about this cardboard cutout of your sister, easy isn't it." Chris told the girl.
"I guess." Sammy was afraid to do it. She looked at Brick who gave her a thumbs up, then to Amy who gave her a very harsh glare that meant trouble if Sammy was to do it. In the end Amy's glare was able to scare Sammy as she put her fist down.
"I'm sorry, I just can't do it." Sammy said Amy only smirked, as her team looked both understanding and disappointed.
(Flashback)
"Oh, really then what exactly is your phobia, Mr Know it All." Courtney said, teasing Duncan, as everyone looked at the bad boy wondering what his fear was.
"C-Celine Dion Music Store Standees." Duncan said sheepishly.

The Killer Bass were standing around the cabins watching Duncan face his fear. His fear in question was to hug a Celine Dion Standee.
"She's pretty, she's nice." Courtney reassured Duncan.
"Just one hug and you're done." Chris told the bad boy.
"That looks really, real man." Duncan was very fearful.
"She's made out of cardboard, it could be worse." Shawn said.
"Hey, it's ok if you can't do it." Courtney said as she held Duncan's hands.
"Alright I'll try." Duncan said.
"You can do this." Courtney said.
"Ok." Duncan said as he ran to hug the standee, and he did it, as his arms were shaking. Courtney cheered.
"Duncan, you're awesome." Courtney said, hugging him.
"Hah, I did it." He was amazed, but Courtney stopped hugging him after realizing what she was doing. He then got surrounded by the rest of the team who cheered.
Owen and Izzy had officially landed on the ground, they both earned a point for their team, cheering in happiness and kissing the floor, thankful that they were alive.
(Communal Bathrooms)
"We did it, we made it through the whole day." Lindsay cheered as all 3 of them had earned a point for their team.
"Not only that, our public image didn't get ruined." Topher clapped and signed in relieveness.
"Are you guys ready?" Lindsay asked as they both shook their heads. "Ok 1, 2, 3!"
"My hair didn't get messed up, somehow, well I'm still clean for the camera." Dakota said smiling.
"Oh my gosh I totally forgot how cute you guys look." Lindsay said shocked.
"OMG, you're both so beautiful as well." Topher said, interrupting their conversation.
"You too." Dakota said to Topher, as the two went on to compliment themselves.
(Campgrounds)
All of the campers were now together, watching the next person Shawn face his fear.
"Alright Shawn all you gotta do is fight off the zombies." Chris told Shawn who looked very freaked out. "Who are coming, now!"
Interns dressed as zombies were released into the arena, Shawn was terrified and immediately scurried up to the nearby tree.
"Hah, can't get me now zombies, unless you can climb." Shawn said as the fake zombies tried climbing the trees.
"I said to fight them not to hide." Chris told Shawn.
"I heard you man, but I don't want them to eat my brains and take my skull and have it for dinner." Shawn said, covering his head.
"Are you kidding me it's just a bunch of fake zombies, anyone would have noticed they only had a zombie mask on." Courtney said, upset.
"Yep, no points for you guys." Chris said, infuriating Courtney, and making Shawn worried.
"So does that mean we win?" Owen asked.
"Wait, no fair we can still come back and win.
"Actually you can't possibly win, it's 5-4." Sammy told Courtney.
"Not, necessarily, we have one more challenge set up." Chris told the others.
"Who?" Courtney asked. "It can't be me, but I didn't"
"You didn't have to." Chris said with a smirk. "We're always watching you and your reactions."
(Flashback)
"So, while he tries to stay in the dark for 10 minutes. Does anyone want some green jelly? I picked it up because the interns didn't want it." Chris said, offering it.

"I knew it. Didn't I tell you guys they were eaves dripping." Lindsay said, looking at Harold.
"Oh, who cares, it's not like it's going to make a difference now." Courtney said sadly.
"Let's make this interesting, I'll give you double points, if you can complete it." Chris said to Courtney.
The scene transitioned to a diving board and a pool full of green jelly. Courtney looked completely stunned and terrified.
"You're afraid of jelly." Duncan teased.
"Shut up." Courtney defended. "Only the green kind. It's like sugary, jiggley, snot."
"You can face your fear and dive straight into this pool of jelly, or let your team lose, thanks to your cowardliness." Chris said to Courtney as she signed and started going up.
"This is insane." She said as she started climbing. "I could seriously die doing this."
"The jelly is probably so slimy, and disgusting, with nose snot everywhere, and goat poop." Amy said, shivering after that last line. Courtney gulped in disgust, almost vomiting.
"You're not going to make me quit." Courtney was determined to win.
"That's it, keep climbing." Duncan said.
"She's just trying to sike you out, keep climbing Courtney." Brick told her. When Courtney reached the top she looked at the green jelly nervously.
"Like you said Courtney, it's ok if you can't do it." Duncan said.
"It might be, but then we'll lose the challenge." Dakota said to Duncan.
Courtney looked at the jelly for a few seconds and had made her mind. "I can't do it, I'm coming down." The Killer Bass were disappointed as the Screaming Gophers cheered.
"And then, there you have it." Chris said to the camera, as Courtney slumped over and walked away from the ladder. "The Gophers win invincibility this week, after a two streak loss."
(Confessional)
Courtney: I'm so embarrassed, how can I be so weak. I deserve to go home, ok stop it. You're pathetic, show some confidence Courtney. (she's about to cry but slaps herself to prevent it)
Owen can be seen in the green jelly, dipping in.
"Your right Amy it is warm." Owen said as he slowly descended under the water.
(Bonfire Pit)
"There are only two marshmallows left on this plate." Chris said, as it seemed like everyone had got their marshmallow already except for the bottom three of Duncan, Courtney, and Shawn. "Most of you did not complete your challenges today. "One of you is going home tonight, and you can not return….ever."
All 3 looked scared, there was a chance one of them might be the unlucky loser going home tonight.
"The next name I'm gonna call is….Duncan." Duncan seemed relieved to get his marshmallow, it was only Shawn and Courtney left. They both looked at eachother. "The final marshmallow of the night goes to…..Courtney." Courtney was overjoyed that she was safe and ran up to get her marshmallow, meanwhile Shawn seemed disappointed. They had just voted one of their strongest members.
"You'll get that zombie next time dude." Duncan said, putting a hand on his back, as Shawn slowly started to walk away, waving a simple goodbye.
"I guess zombody got the boot." Chris joked.
"It's not like he can moan here." Duncan jokes (zombies moan, just a heads up).
"Guess Shawn's chances are dead now." Topher said.
"Shawn must be brainless now." Courtney joked.
"Alright that's enough everyone." Dawn said, stopping the humiliation.
(Boat of Losers)
"I was really hoping I could win the million and spend it on a bunker and a lifetime supply of anti zombie odor." Shawn said. "Maybe, if I apply for another show, that'll happen. I hope."
Suddenly Chef turned around, with a zombie mask. Shawn screamed, but it was actually Chef in a mask with which he was relieved. It kept repeating as Shawn differed from fear and relief, all the way into the distance as the episode ended.
Author's Note:Y'know this was such a fun episode to write, but also a hard one, and thus I have 2 things to say.
For the elimination we have the legend, Shawn. Shawn is probably one of my favorite characters of his season and overall. So, having him eliminated here, really was a hard choice. I don't know it just feels like with no Jasmine, and no Sammy on the same team, he just can't make it far. So sorry to any of his fans.
Now, about the elimination. I feel like the past 5 eliminations have been very in your nose, and I've pretty much ben explaining about why they got eliminated in the story. So, I want to make eliminations more suspenseful, which is why there is no reason as to why Shawn is gone in the show. For Shawn's eliminations offscreen Duncan got Topher and Brick to vote with him. He got Courtney as well. Dawn, B, and Shawn all voted Courtney for losing and the rest voted Duncan.
Lastly, the formatting. Recently I've started to dislike like the new formatting. I don't like having the locations straight in the middle of my fanfiction. So, I looked at other popular shuffled fanfictions and decided that putting them to the left was the best idea for me. It really feels smoother now and I enjoy it. I edited all of the other chapters to have this (check them out by the way if you haven't, IT WOULD DO ME A FAVOR). But yeah, sorry if you liked the old style better, it was good while it lasted.
