This is just something that popped into my head one day.

Thoughts

Harry's POV:

I'm working in the garden, when a big, fancy car drives up. I don't think that Uncle Vernon or Aunt Petunia had any guests coming today; bit I shrink below the bushes so I won't be seen. A man with shiny grey hair gets out of the car, strides up to the door, and rings the doorbell. Surprisingly, Dudley opens the door. The man steps right past him and into the house. Dudley closes the door, so I run to the open window, but still out of sight.

"This is my house, you can't just barge in here like you own the place. Get out!"

I guess Uncle Vernon has overlooked the nice looking clothes of the man. The man doesn't seem to care, though. Through the open window, I hear the man address Aunt Petunia.

"Well, Petunia dear, you sure have stooped low. What would your parents think?"

Stooped low? What does he mean by that? Aunt Petunia comes into view.

"My parents gave most of everything to Lily, Max." Aunt Petunia flops into a chair. I didn't know she could 'flop'. "We can't just take it out of her vaults."

"And my nephew?"

"You may want to read this Max." She hands the man a letter. "Right away, I wanted to go to you about it, but you never really knew, so I 'couldn't'."

His eyes widen as he reads the letter.

"I've been doing just the minimum, but…" here her voice goes to quiet for me to hear. ("Vernon's taken it quite far.")

He looks up at Aunt Petunia, and glares at Uncle Vernon. Aunt Petunia whispers something to Dudley, and the next thing I know, he's telling me to come in. The man stares at me as I enter. He whispers something to Aunt Petunia, who tells me to get my things… I do.

When I come back:

(Uncle Vernon) "You can't just take him. The other freaks told us that we had to keep him. Something about blood, so you can't just come in here and take him! Wait a minute, you're one of them aren't you? Then, take him for all I care, and NEVER come back!"

I'm SO confused.

"Vernon, calm down. Max is my cousin, and… as normal as you and me."

I catch her falter, what does she mean?

"I could get you out, Petunia."

"No thanks Max, but I'll call every once in a while."

"Suit yourself." He turns to me, "Come along, young man."

I look at Aunt Petunia; she's motioning for me to go with him, so I do.

We get to the door, "Wait! Max, would it be okay if I ride with you? I can take a taxi home."

"I don't see why not. You can help me explain it to the boy."

"Petunia, if you leave with that man, you can't come back!"

Aunt Petunia looks torn. The man walks back to her and puts his hand on her shoulder. I hear him murmur, "Follow your heart." As he hands her a card. (Change of Heart) She looks at the card, smiles, goes upstairs, and comes back with two suitcases.

"Well, it's been nice knowing you… Vernon, Dudley… but it's time I get back to my own family."

She turns on her heel, and guides me out. The man closes the door on his way out.

Well, here's the first chapter. I haven't quite decided if Petunia and Harry will live with Pegasus, or not- tell me what you think.
