I am happy to say that I managed to have this chapter done and posted a couple of weeks early, something that NEVER happens.
I am also happy to announce that this story shall be named 'Two Lost Witches and their Ninja'. A guest reviewer made the suggestion and I liked it, so they won. Thank you to everyone else that also made a suggestion, they were all very good and tempting but, like I said, this one won.
Next story I shall focus on is 'Dragon of Lightning', my Naruto/Xiaolin Showdown story. At the same time I will work a little on the next chapter of Broken. This means there won't be a new chapter for this story for at least a few months, sorry. But I will do what I can.

The man grinned, his now visible whisker marks crinkling with his smile, "The name's Naruto Uzumaki and one of my missions is to rescue you." Moving a bit closer to the cage, Naruto began to examine the lock and nodded to himself when he saw it was just a basic one. So, taking his kunai, he slammed the hilt down onto the lock a few times and smashed it open. "There we go," he said, proud of himself for freeing the prisoners. "Now, I should tell you that the seal those bastards put on the cage was designed to stop anyone from using their abilities. However, through sheer dumb luck, they actually managed to create a seal that sapped your chakra away."
Chakra? Did he mean her magic? Too many thoughts were going through Raven's head, and the one that kept coming up was Jinx and her injuries. "My... friend is hurt," Raven said, trying to get her situation in order. "She needs a hospital now."
"Shit," Naruto cursed, seeing that the pinkette was breathing heavily and sweating. Not exactly good signs. "I don't know any medical jutsu but I do have a first-aid kit."
"I can use that," Raven said, "I can still use my magic to try and stabilise her."
Reaching into the pouch he wore on the back of his belt, Naruto took out a scroll and unrolled it. Raven raised an eyebrow at it, as well as the foreign letters on it. "Here it is," Naruto said, placing a finger on a letter. He channelled chakra into it and, in a puff of smoke, a first-aid kit appeared in his hand, shocking Raven as she hadn't expected that. "We need to move her so that you can treat her wounds."
Raven really didn't want the man to come any closer than he has, but so far, he has shown no ill intention other than killing the fat bad guy. The two slowly moved Jinx out of the cage and placed her carefully on the ground, with the pinkette whimpering a little a couple of times. Naruto ran over to the wall and took down the lantern before bringing it over, giving Raven more light to see what she is doing. Using her magic, Raven frowned as she really did feel weaker. That seal the blond destroyed really took a lot out of her. No wonder Jinx fell unconscious if her powers were being taken away on top of her injuries.
"Damn," Naruto said, snapping his head towards the cave entrance. "I need you to do me a favour and stay in this cave with your friend, okay?"
"What? Why?" Raven asked. "As soon as Jinx is healed enough we need to move her!"
Shaking his head, Naruto explained. "The guy that had you two kidnapped is a rogue Jonin-level ninja. My other mission was to take him out and, unfortunately, he's wrecking my clones. If he keeps this up then he'll be back here in a matter of minutes."
Yeah, Raven could see how that would be a problem. Although she didn't understand what he meant by Jonin and how the blond can have clones. "Will you be alright?"
"I can take him," Naruto answered while standing. He honestly hoped he could. Either way, he was gonna find out in a minute. "It's gonna get loud okay but I'll try and draw him away from here. Just do what you can and I'll try to get back as soon as possible." He didn't wait for a response as he ran out, leaving Raven to tend to Jinx.
Watching him leave, Raven started working on Jinx. "You'd better come back," she muttered. While Naruto was still a stranger, he was more trusting than anyone else she and Jinx had met so far.
Running out of the cave, Naruto was forced to jump forward just as senbon rained down at the entrance. "You dodged," a cold voice said, allowing Naruto to turn and look at the leader that had been fighting off his clones. "So I finally found the original bastard." Eyeing the man carefully, Naruto could clearly see the weapon that the man was holding. It was a black umbrella but the blond knew from experience that it was filled with countless senbon, making it a very dangerous weapon that shouldn't be underestimated. "I hope you weren't doing anything to my merchandise. I still need them to fix this mess you made."
"I've always loved causing trouble for people like you," Naruto countered with a grin, "Besides, it wouldn't be the first time I've screwed with you, would it, Aoi Rokusho?"
The now-named Aoi gritted his teeth at the mention of his name. He always did his best to try and keep it a secret but this guy somehow knew who he was. "Do I know you?" Aoi demanded to know as he looked at his opponent carefully. The stranger had blond spiky hair, blue eyes, and whisker marks and he wore a metal plate on his forehead that had a leaf insignia on it. He wore baggy black pants with sandals that went up his shin. He also wore a white open jacket with the sleeves ending over the back of his palms and orange lining down the arms which ended in swirls at the hands. Finally, below that, he wore a black shirt. All in all, the man before Aoi looked familiar.
"Now that hurts," Naruto said with sarcasm, placing a hand on his chest. "Maybe this will help jog your memory." Holding out his hand, palm up, Naruto effortlessly created a spinning ball of chakra.
It was a technique that Aoi recognised immediately. How could he not? It was a jutsu that nearly killed him four years ago. "YOU!" Aoi roared, his eyes glaring at Naruto, who allowed his Rasengan to disappear.
"Me," Naruto replied back cheekily, still wearing a grin.
"Umbrella Shockwave!" Aoi shouted, swinging his umbrella which produced a torrent of water that flew at Naruto.
Just like with the senbon attack earlier, Naruto jumped away. But, as soon as his feet touched the ground again, Aoi was on him, swinging his umbrella that was aimed at his head. Ducking, Naruto allowed the weapon to sail past his head while he flipped backwards, his feet kicking at his opponent. Quickly grabbing a kunai from his pouch, Naruto swung it and he was not surprised when Aoi brought his umbrella down to block. "Did I strike a nerve? You seem very angry for some reason."
"Shut up!" Aoi snarled.
While still holding onto the kunai with his left hand, Naruto brought his right hand back. "Rasengan!" he said, creating the ball of chakra. He tried to slam it into Aoi, intent on finishing the fight while he had a chance but Aoi moved out of the way.
Throwing the umbrella up, Aoi made a single hand sign and shouted, "Senbon Shower!" The umbrella opened and senbon began to rain down onto the field. As Naruto jumped around, avoiding the sharp projectiles, Aoi made a few more hand signs before shouting, "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" The water in the area, thanks to his earlier technique, flew into the air before forming a dragon. It gave a powerful roar before flying at Naruto who had no time to dodge thanks to the senbon firing around him.
"Argh!" Naruto grunted, feeling the water technique slam into him. He flew across the destroyed campsite and slammed his back into a tree. "Fuck, that hurt!" he muttered, wincing as he stood. "Shadow Clone Jutsu," he said, creating two clones that appeared on either side of him. Without a nod, the two clones ran at Aoi as the original followed.
Seeing the clones running at him, Aoi scowled before charging forward as well. With practised ease, he picked up the umbrella that had landed on the ground and stowed it on his back before blocking a punch from the first clone. Grabbing the clone's arm, Aoi threw him away and jumped to avoid a sweep kick to his legs from the second clone. Standing from where he was crouched, the second clone threw an uppercut that landed on Aoi's chin.
As soon as Aoi was launched a few feet in the air, Naruto ran up and grabbed the mans ankles. Using Aoi's weight against him, Naruto spun around and threw him even higher into the air as he and his clones made several hand signs before they each took a deep breath. "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" The three Naruto's blew their chakra laced air and three gust's of winds flew at Aoi. The attacks slammed into him, throwing him even higher and further into the air.
The three Naruto's just stood there and looked up. "Was that too much?" Clone #1 asked.
"Maybe a little," Clone #2 replied, shielding his eyes from the sun to watch Aoi as he began falling. "Hey, did you bring that restraining seal and the flare?" the clone asked his original.
Naruto just raised an eyebrow as he looked at his clone. "Why are you asking? You're my clone, you should know everything I know." The clone just shrugged, making Naruto twitch with a small frown. He'll never understand why his clones act like this sometimes. "Yes, I have everything I need." A fair distance away, Aoi hit the ground with a crash, kicking up a bit of dust. He quickly turned over and onto his hands and knees, hacking and coughing as he tried to catch his breath. Being launched into the air like that literally knocked the wind out of him and left him unable to breath as he flew.
Glaring at the blonde, Aoi stood. "When you die," he said, wiping some of the blood off of his lip. "I'm gonna enjoy selling your organs and having your severed head put on a stake for everyone to see!" Before any of the Naruto's could comment of the disturbing comment, Aoi then went through a few hand signs and threw his hands towards the sky. "Water Style: Black Rain Jutsu!"
His chakra turned into a dark mist that flew up to the sky, forming a dark cloud. It grew in size and moved until it was over Naruto and his clones. Just like a balloon, the cloud burst and rained down black liquid. "What is this?" Clone #2 asked as he examined the liquid between his fingers.
"It smells like..." Clone #1 trailed off as he and the others widened their eyes.
"Oil," Naruto finished as he looked towards Aoi. His theories were confirmed when he saw the man throw a kunai with an exploding tag at him.
Aoi watched in glee as the small area Naruto and his clones were standing in was suddenly engulfed in an explosion. If his old subordinates were still alive then he would have thanked them for their useful technique. "Gotcha you little bastard!" he roared with laughter.
"Think again, Aoi!" Naruto shouted from behind.
Spinning around, Aoi couldn't believe he was seeing Naruto standing there unscathed. Turning back to the still raging inferno, he scowled when he spotted the burning log that was in the middle of it. "Substitution," Aoi growled out. It was a basic technique that almost every shinobi in existence knows how to do, so he should have known that Naruto did as well. At least he managed to take out the clones, not that it mattered much as Naruto could make more whenever he wanted.
"Such a useful technique, no?"
"You've gotten better since we last fought," Aoi commented as the two slowly started circling each other.
Shrugging, Naruto held his grin as he took out a kunai. "What can I say? I've been training hard for the past four years. In fact, you're my final test before I go home."
"Too bad you're gonna fail!" Aoi shouted as he went through more hand signs, "Water Style: Water Bullet Jutsu!"
His chest swelled as he gathered chakra and water inside before spitting it at Naruto. The water shot at him with impressive speed but Naruto knew he had to dodge otherwise he'd be dealing with several broken bones again. He jumped to the side to avoid it and then was forced to do so again as another bullet was fired. This happened several more times with Naruto ducking and dodging.
Making his way closer, Naruto dodged again and swiped with his kunai but Aoi saw this coming as he grabbed his umbrella and brought it down to deflect, sparks flying as the two weapons grinded against each other.
There was another explosion outside the cave and it was making Raven worried. She had managed to stabilise Jinx at the moment, thanks to her limited magic and that Naruto's first aid kit but she really did need medical attention from an actual doctor as soon as possible. Right now, Raven was just trying to regain some of her magic so that she could get herself and Jinx out of here.
"You're much easier to deal with when you're unconscious," Raven muttered, looking down at the sleeping pinkette. The next explosion sounded much closer and actually made the cave shake which, in turn, made some rubble fall from the ceiling a fair distance away from the two girls thankfully. Something flashed in the corner of her eye, catching Raven's attention.
It was her belt, sticking out of a sack that was laying on the ground. Almost immediately, Raven used her magic to grab the sack and brought it over. Within seconds she had her belt and cloak back on and already she felt a little calmer. Reaching into her belt, she took out her communicator but frowned when she still couldn't get through to her friends. She'll have to figure that out later as another explosion happened and, judging by the ringing in her ears, it was much closer. That probably meant that Naruto guy was having some trouble with that man that kidnapped her and Jinx.
Slowly, Raven moved to the cave entrance and looked outside to see what was happening, hoping that she could see any escape opportunities. But what she saw shocked her instead as she watched THREE Naruto's being engulfed in a massive fireball. It was then that she remembered that the man did mention clones, maybe this is what he meant? For a few seconds she felt fear as her and Jinx's saviour was killed brutally in a ball of fire but then he somehow appeared behind Aoi, which also allowed Raven to hear the bad mans name. Thankfully Naruto also looked completely unscathed.
The two exchanged some words before Aoi did more hand signs and spat multiple shots of water at Naruto. Raven looked disgusted at seeing someone spitting at someone else like that but then she saw the attack his a tree and shatter it completely. One of the water attacks also hit the ground and managed to crack it. Clearly the technique was a lot more dangerous than Raven realised. She watched as Naruto weaved his way through the attack before he and Aoi clashed weapons, with one of the weapons being an umbrella oddly. Raven decided to ignore that at this moment in time.
"Hurry up," a voice said nearby. Carefully, Raven looked and narrowed her eyes when she saw two thugs creeping their way towards the cave. In fact, one of the thugs was actually the one that punched her to knock her out. "We need to get everything we can carry while Boss is dealing with that bastard!"
The thug that punched Raven just grunted. "I just hope that fat-ass Omaeda hasn't done anything to those prisoners! I called first dibs after Boss!" He then glanced back to where Aoi and Naruto were fighting. "Hm, actually, I'll just help myself while Boss is distracted. I'm sure he wouldn't mind given the circumstances."
The first thug just grinned in response. "That's not a bad idea! Which one do you want? The half-dead one or half-naked one?" Hearing this, Raven hugged her cloak closer to her body as she knew he was talking about her.
"I already know you're gonna go after the pink one," the second thug answered, "You love it when they don't fight back. Nah, I want the bitch that hit me. It'll be fun repaying her for what she did."
'My God,' Raven thought with a shiver of fear. She already knew what they were planning to do but hearing it was like this was just terrifying. Glancing back at that Naruto guy, she could see he was still fighting Aoi. And Jinx was still unconscious which meant that she was basically on her own to deal with these two. 'I can do this,' Raven thought to herself, taking a deep breath. She had taken on dozens of villains before, some more powerful than others. She could take on these two.
The two bandits neared the cave but stopped when they saw Raven standing at the entrance, blocking them from entering. The second man gave a small 'tsk' before he spoke. "So, the little birdie is out of her cage. Omaeda's a dead man next time I see him. That fat-ass had one simple job."
"If you're talking about the disgusting man that had to watch over us, he's already dead," Raven said, carefully keeping an eye on the two in case they made a sudden move.
The two men looked surprised at hearing of Omaeda's death but that surprise didn't last long. "Ha! Always knew he'd die before me!" the first bandit said with a laugh, the second giving a chuckle as well. "I just wish I was there to watch!"
"We all wanted to watch that dumbass die," the second thug said before looking intently at Raven. "You know, I can think of a few ways that we can thank you," he said, licking his lips in a way that made Raven's skin crawl.
Unknown to the two, Raven was using her cloak to hide her hands movement. Thanks to her recovered magic, she encased a few large rocks and lifted them into the air, moving them until they were above the two men. "How about you take this instead?" she said, cancelling her magic to allow the rocks to fall.
The two thugs looked confused until they saw shadows appear around them. The first thug looked up and quickly shouted, "Look out, Jigoku!" He managed to push the second thug out of the way just as the boulders hit their target. The landed with a crash, kicking up some dust. Jigoku covered his head as a way to protect himself and, when it was clear, he looked his friend was screaming out as a large rock had landed on his leg, crushing it.
"Dammit!" Jigoku cursed. He looked back to Raven and scowled as she ran off towards the trees of the forest. Scrambling, he went to his friend. "Shut the Hell up and move that rock already! The bitch is getting away!"
"M-My leg! It's broken!" his friend shouted back. "Don't touch it!" he shouted, stopping him from moving the rock as moving it caused him pain. "Ah! It hurts!"
Jigoku examined the leg and could easily see that it was broken. Judging by the angle of his foot, even it he did get it healed, it wouldn't be the same anymore. "There's nothing I can do," Jigoku admitted with a frown.
The thug grit his teeth to stop shouting but he did grunt a few times as his leg flared in pain. "T-There has to be something!" That was when he noticed that Jigoku had a kunai in his hand. Eyes widening in horror, the thug whimpered, "N-No! You're not cutting my leg off!"
The kunai was then stabbed into his skull, killing him almost instantly. "I'm not cutting it off," Jigoku muttered, pulling the bloodied knife out and letting his friends head hit the ground. They didn't have time for injuries like that, not when they were being attacked. He would have just slowed him down. With another scowl, he stood and glared at the direction Raven ran off to.
"Incoming!"
Naruto and several clones of his scrambled as they saw the rain of senbon flying down at them. They dodged and took cover from the assault but most of the clones were impaled by the needles and dispelled. "I hate that fucking umbrella!" Naruto cursed.
"Uh, Boss?" one of his clones said, getting the original's attention. "You got something on your left arm."
"I do?" Looking, Naruto indeed see that something was on his arm. Actually it was more like impaled in his arm. About five needles to be exact. "Well that explains why my arm is numb, at least."
From where he was standing, Aoi scowled again. Somehow this blond bastard was matching him blow for blow and it was really pissing him off. Just fighting him head on wasn't enough, he needed to come up with a new plan. That was when he noticed what had become of his former camp. It was completely destroyed due to Naruto's surprise attack and their fight. Now they were standing in puddles of water.
Pulling out the last needle in his arm, Naruto dropped it and narrowed his eyes as he saw Aoi grin. That can't be a good sign. "He's about to do something," he said to his clones, "Stay on guard. If you see an opening, take it."
"Yes, Boss!" a few of his clones agreed while the others nodded.
Aoi gave a chuckle which then turned into a dark laugh, unnerving Naruto and his clones. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this," the man said as he brought his hands together and going through several hand-signs. "Lightning Style: Shock Palm!" Bringing one of his hands back, his palm glowed and crackled with electricity. He then slammed it into the wet ground which allowed the electricity to course through the entire area.
Naruto and his clones didn't have time to react when they saw Aoi slam his hand down. The attack was too quick and hit them all nearly instantly. The second the attack hit, all of Naruto's clones were dispelled while Naruto himself was paralyzed. "AH!" All Naruto could do was scream as his body tensed in pain.
"I bet you didn't know that I could use Lightning chakra!" Aoi shouted with a cackle, uncaring if Naruto could even hear him or not. "I kept it secret! Not even my followers knew about it!" With a grunt, Naruto fell to his knees. His body was twitching randomly from the attack. "Water Style: Gunshot!" Aoi shouted, going through more hand-signs as he spat out water projectiles. They flew at impressive speed and slammed into Naruto, who could do nothing.
He flew back, crashing into the ground. In pain, he clutched his chest and hissed. 'Dammit, he broke a couple of ribs,' Naruto thought as he struggled to get back on his feet. At least that Lightning Jutsu's effect finally ended and he could move again. He could already feel the Kyuubi's chakra helping fix things but it was still painful as the ribs realigned itself.
Aoi was now next to him and the man slammed his foot onto Naruto's chest. With a sadistic grin, he ground his heel into Naruto. "Ha ha! I can't tell you how satisfying this is!" he said in glee, "I damn neared died when you threw me off that cliff with that little ball of yours!"
"S-Sorry about that!" Naruto grunted out, blood dripping down from the corner of his mouth, "Next time, I'll be sure to finish the job!"
"Don't worry, you can apologise by dying!" Aoi yelled as he raised his umbrella. Seeing this, Naruto reached into his pouch to grab a kunai but, before he could do that or anything else, a pink energy shot and hit Aoi in the back, throwing him off of a surprised Naruto. "AH! Who the hell did that?!" Aoi roared in rage, spinning around to see who attacked him. It was the pink haired girl his men had brought to him, standing next to an equally surprised Naruto who was still on the ground. "YOU!"
Holding her sides, Jinx couldn't help but give a smirk as well as flipping her middle finger to the bastard that took her and Raven. She was a lot of pain and had woken up when she heard explosions with Raven no where to be seen. Image her surprise when she saw her kidnapper on top of a guy and trying to kill him. Of course she was going to screw over her kidnapper by helping the guy. Even injured, she managed to fire a Hex-Bolt and hit the bastard in the back. "Gotcha, you dumbass."
With a roar of anger, Aoi lunged at her. But Naruto saw this and managed to use Substitution, swapping places with Jinx. Grabbing Aoi by the face, Naruto grinned as he used his favourite technique. "You lose! Rasengan!" The ball of chakra was pushed into Aoi's chest and ground it's way through the skin. Aoi could only howl in pain from the technique before he was suddenly launched away. He landed on the ground several metres away, rolling to a stop and not moving. Naruto stayed where he was for a minute before he carefully made his way over, sighing in relief when he saw that Aoi was now unconscious. "Finally," he muttered before wincing and clutching his chest. His ribs were still healing.
"L-Little help?"
Snapping his head around, Naruto realised that he had forgotten about the pink-haired girl in those final moments of the battle. She was lying on the ground, exactly where he had been before swapping places with her. "Oh, shit! Sorry!" he said, running to her while making a clone to deal with Aoi. "Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay?!" Jinx snapped, trying not to shout as it hurt her to do so. "Is the bastard dead?" she asked, looking over at Aoi's body.
"Aoi? Nah, he's alive," Naruto answered without looking, "You're Jinx, right? That hooded girl called you that, I think before I had to deal with 'the Bastard' as you called him."
So that's how he knew her name. "Do you know where R-Raven is? I kinda need her so I d-don't die," she said, knowing her injuries were severe. Raven at least knew enough to help her so she was her best shot right now.
Looking around for the hooded girl, Naruto narrowed his eyes. "I don't see her... But I think I can sense her about a mile North of us and someone's following." Reaching into his pouch, Naruto took hold of the flare and fired it straight up into the air, a bright red light shining in the sky for minute before burning out. Not even a minute later and there was another puff of smoke nearby. "It's about time, Pervy Sage!"
"Ha ha!" a long white haired man laughed as the smoke cleared, showing he was wearing a red and white outfit with red markings down his face. For some reason, he was sitting on top of a giant frog or whatever, something that really confused Jinx. Maybe the blood loss was finally getting to her and she was hallucinating. She was really light headed to be fair. She hoped she was because that would honestly explain a lot. "I knew you could do it! After all, you were trained by the great Toad Sage, Jiraiya!" the man continued, taking on a weird stance.
He was met with a foot to his face, courtesy of Naruto who looked annoyed. "Now's not the time, Pervy Sage!" he shouted, giving his teacher another kick to the side for good measure. "Aoi's dealt with, as you can see, but I got two civilians here. Jinx here needs medical attention now and I need to go after her friend!"
Jiraiya took a second to look at Jinx, who is again unconscious, and agreed with his student. "Alright. I'll take Jinx to Tanzaku Town, it's only a few miles away and I can get her medical attention there. You go get her friend and be careful."
Naruto didn't need to be told twice as he took off in the direction he could sense Raven at. "Thanks Sensei!" he called back, not knowing or caring if Jiraiya heard him or not.
Watching his student run off, Jiraiya the turned his attention to the pink haired girl, whose name was Jinx apparently. "Now, where did you come from?" he muttered, not recognising her clothing. Not only that but her hair colour and skin tone were rare, making him more curious. He also wondered what her friend looked like and hoped that they will be able to answer questions once things calm down.
He also wondered if he could somehow use her for his book series.

Right, I didn't want to add this to the bottom of the story, I was trying to keep my Author Note's up top but I need to address a couple of things here.
I have had a rather rude message by some idiot named 'book lover reader' who claimed that I killed my own story because I made Naruto as strong as he was after the 4th War and yet he struggled with Aoi. To be fair, I should have explained things better. There was still no need to be a rude asshole like that. As I said to him, instead of sending a stupid message criticising my story, you could just offer some help or even ask why I did things this way.
So here is some explanations:
- This story is set at the end of Naruto's training trip. While it was three years, I have changed it to four years.
- Naruto is stronger than he was at the end of the training trip because it was just stupid how the anime/manga did it. So he and Jiraiya took his training seriously.
- Yes, Aoi put up a fight but wouldn't it make sense that he too was training for four years? Or would people rather he stayed the same since they last fought? Because that made no sense. So I made Aoi stronger.
- The reason that Naruto struggled is not only because Aoi was strong, but also because he lacked experience. Anytime he had fought against a strong opponent, he needed help or resorted to using the Kyuubi's chakra. I had tried to make it so Naruto did this on his own, as a learning experience. I don't know if you all will like that I used Naruto's inexperience during his training trip as an excuse but it made sense to me.
