(Hong Kong, 6:02 p.m, 24 C, Clear Sky)
The Jin Brothers were walking down a street about a block away from Shinryuken. Chonshu had on his Tae Kwon Do gi that he usually wore while he was training with Kim Kaphwan. Chonrei had on his training outfit that he adorned while training with Tung Fu Rue. (If you've seen Chonrei's ending in Real Bout Special 2, it's that same outfit with added fingerless gloves)
(Mandarin)
"Oh boy I'm so excited", said Chonshu, clenching his fists near his face while smiling.
"I can tell", replied Chonrei, adjusting his fingerless gloves.
"You are too it seems. There must be a reason for you to change clothes like me."
"Hmph who knows? Maybe you'll get knocked out in one blow", Chonrei said, smirking. "Then I'll step up to the challenge."
"Oh, so you think you're stronger than me?"
"Never said that."
"But you're implying it."
"Maybe I am."
On the rooftop of Shinryuken, Yun and Yang were waiting for the Jin Brothers to arrive. Yun looked down and saw them approach the street. (If uou're wondering it's Yun stage in Third Strike)
"Hey Chonshu, Chonrei!", Yun called out, "Up here!"
"How do we get up there Yun?", called out Chonshu.
"Through the alleyway at the back. Yang should be there to help you."
"Alright. We'll be there real quick!", said Chonshu running towards the alleyway.
"You know I'm not down there Yun", Yang said leaning against a crate.
"Well better get down there Yang. Chonshu is running to get over here."
"Hmph."
Yang, using his Kaihou technique (His command dash in the games), was able to appear in the alleyway right before Chonshu arrived.
"Hi Yang", Chonshu said, giving a friendly wave.
"Hello Chonshu", said Yang.
Chonrei appeared behind Chonshu, hands in pocket.
"Chonrei", said Yang, giving a thumbs up to him. Chonrei nodded in response.
"Alright, this way", Yang said motioning towards a makeshift staircase made of crates. "Watch your step", he said while climbing.
Both Jin Brothers began to climb the makeshift staircase. 0
"Hey Chonshu, couldn't you just teleport to the top?", asked Chonrei
"Nope. I told you; I'm trying not to use my powers", answered Chonshu. "Besides, It's a risky teleport. I don't want to accidently teleport too high and fall."
The Jin Brothers eventually made it to the top and were greeted by Yun.
"Sup guys, glad to see you", said Yun, smiling. He took a look at Chonshu's outfit.
"A tae kwon do gi? So that's your thing Chonshu?", asked Yun.
"Yes!", answered Chonshu, his eyes glowing with excitement.
"So tae kwon do then. Are you from Korea? I think I saw the flag on your back", asked Yun.
"Nope!", replied Chonshu. "I did learn it there though. From the Legendary Phoniex himself!"
Both twin brothers were struck with a sudden realization. Talking at the same time, they said "Woah, do you mean-"
"Yep! My master, is Kim Kaphwan!"
"K-Kim Kaphwan?", Yun stammered.
"Well, this became more interesting", Yang said, a single drop of sweat going down his forehead from being slighlty nervous. "Any student of Kim Kaphwan must be a great fighter."
"Yes. But I'm no ordinary student of Master Kim. I've passed his course with flying colors, and even he was surprised of how fast I learned so prepare yourself Twin Dragons!", exclaimed Chonshu.
"Hyping yourself little brother?", Chonrei thought to himself.
"Alright then, I'll be your first opponent!", said Yun. "Get ready!"
"Yes! Let's go!", said Chonshu, giving a quick bow. Yun gave a slight bow in respone.
(If you want to, I often imagine the battle theme of Terry vs Kim from the Fatal Fury 2 OVA to start playing here. Just look up Fatal Fury 2 OVA OST Terry Bogard and it should appear on YouTube if you're interested)
The two fighters take their stances. Yun takes his stance from Capcom Vs SNK 2, focusing on remaining firm. Chonshu takes his stance inspired from Kim's stance from KOF 13.
Chonshu takes the first strike, running up to Yun to give a quick kick to his side.
Yun easily dodges it and goes for a palm strike. Chonshu blocks this and goes for a sweep, but Yun jumps up in the air and dive kicks Chonshu's head. Chonshu staggers back, grasping his head in pain but jumps back to gain some space. Yun goes for another dive kick though Chonshu was ready this time.
"Hienzan!"
Yun goes flying back but lands safely on the ground. He immediately goes for a lunge punch (Zesshou Hohou). It misses Chonshu who counterattacks with a flurry of kicks. (Shakka Shuu)
Yun gets pummeled by the kicks and falls to the ground. Chonshu waits for him to get back up.
"Playing fair Chonshu?", said Yun, recovering from the last attack.
"It's not fair to attack someone who's defenseless", Chonshu replied.
"You're definitely Kim's student", Yun chuckled.
Yun gets up and takes his stance again. Chonshu does the same. Both fighters run towards each other with Chonshu going for a high kick and Yun going for another palm strike.
Yun lands his hit on Chonshu's gut, causing him to gag. He follows up with a series of attacks and ending it with a kick which sends Chonshu to fly back and fall on the ground. (Sorai Rengeki).
Chonshu gets up and stands his ground to recover but Yun doesn't give him time to breath and goes for a multitude of attacks. Chonshu blocks all of these attacks but gets exhausted with all the hits he endures. He tries to grab Yun's arm when he begins to start another series of attacks but Yun kicks Chonshu up into the air, jumps up to kick him again, grabs him mid-air and barrages him with more kicks as he falls down.
Chonshu falls onto the ground with a thud and struggles to get up. He takes a new stance (Kim Jae Hoon's idle animation) but is visibly tired, breathing heavily. Yun waits for him to catch his breath.
"Getting tired Chonshu?", asked Yun.
"Nope", Chonshu panted. "Just stalling, sorry. Come and get it!"
"Whatever you say!", said Yun.
Yun goes for a shoulder charge (Tetsuzanko) which Chonshu sloppily blocks getting pushed back by the force. Chonshu tries to counterattack with a crescent kick (Hangetsuzan) but misses leaving him vulnerable to Yun's kicks (Nishokyaku). Yun barely misses Chonshu, which Chonshu uses to his advantage.
Hishou Kyaku!
Yun staggers back as Chonshu goes for a kick to his gut which causes Yun to fall down.
"You're good", Yun said, getting up. "But it's time to finish this, get ready!"
Yun's body glowed with an aqua colored aura and multiple afterimages started to appear around him.
"W-What's this?", Chonshu said nervously.
"Hmph, you never used this against Xiangfei Yun", said Yang. "Really going all out then huh?"
"GO! Genei-Jin!"
Multiple afterimages of Yun raced towards Chonshu, attacking him from multiple angles. Chonshu tried to block these attacks and successfully blocked the first 3 attacks but was quickly overwhelmed and was pummeled from multiple angles, falling to the ground. Yun was about to finish the fight but left an opening and Chonshu recovered at the perfect moment to end the battle.
Tenshokyaku!
Chonshu lands the final blow, striking Yun in the face and he collapsed on the floor.
Chonshu was breathing heavily as he walked up to Yun offering his hand to help him get back up.
"You're too modest Chonshu", Yun chuckled, taking Chonshu's hand and pulled himself up
"It was a great pleasure fighting you, White Dragon!", Chonshu said, bowing.
Yun clamps his hands together and bows. "And you too, student of Kim Kaphwan."
"Alright! You're up Yang!", shouted Chonshu.
The twin brothers and Chonrei were visibly shocked, suprised that Chonshu would even want to fight anymore.
"I have no intention of fighting you Chonshu", Yang replied. "Me and your brother agreed to hold that fight off for another time."
"Yang's correct", Chonshu said. "You're in no condition to fight another opponent after your battle with Yun."
"Yeah Chonshu, take a break", said Yun.
"Nope! I said I would fight both Twin Dragons and I'm going to fight both of the Twin Dragons!", Chonshu said, pointing at Yang.
Chonrei sighed. "Chonshu…"
"C'mon! Let's go Yang!", Chonshu said, stretching his legs and arms.
"Stubborn as always", Chonrei whispered to himself. "Yang, finish this fight as quickly as you can."
"Sure thing", Yang replied.
Chonshu took his stance inspired by Kim's Real Bout Special stance but not hopping up and down. Yang adjusted his gauntlet and takes a quick bow. This prompted Chonshu to bow as well and quickly returned to his stance.
In a flash, Yang dashed behind Chonshu and struck behind his head which appeared to knock him down. But this was trick to drop Yang's guard. He saved himself from falling from the ground and swept at Yang's feet. Yang simply stepped back a few inches and avoided it.
"Good dodge but how about this?!", exclaimed Chonshu.
Chonshu placed his two hands together and all the fighters could feel energy building up in between. A white orb of energy was seen forming, becoming stronger and stronger by the second.
"Chonshu, stop!", Chonrei yelled. "Yang get out of the way!"
"Teiou Rojin Ken!"
A single white orb went flying towards Yang at a high speed. Yang dashed towards Chonshu, dodged the energy projectile and palmed striked him in the gut. This caused Chonshu to gag and his eyes went white. Meanwhile Chonrei caught the energy ball before it could hit anybody and struggled to hold it.
"I'm sorry you guys", Chonshu said while falling onto the ground. "Master Kim, forgive me."
Chonshu landed on the ground with a thud on his face. Yun ran to check on him.
"Chonrei!", Yang called out. "Can you handle that energy orb?"
"Yeah! Just give me a second!", replied Chonrei.
Chonrei held the orb in place and began to crush it between his hands. Eventually it shattered and Chonrei absorbed the energy.
Chonrei dashed towards his brother. "How's Chonshu?"
"He's seems fine", Yun replied. "His pulse is steady, just knocked out."
"Ugh Chonshu", Chonrei said, holding Chonshu in his arms. "You're too stubborn to call it quits. Sorry you two."
"It's no problem, dude", Yun said. "Our first fight was great before your bro went all crazy with the energy blast."
"I won't deny it. I did feel a rush of adrenaline dodging your brother's attack", Yang added.
"Glad you two enjoyed it then", Chonrei said, smirking.
Chonrei held his hand out over Chonshu and his body began to glow with a white aura.
"What are you doing?", Yun asked.
"I'm healing him with my energy. One of the many teachings of Master Tung."
"Tung? Tung Fu Rue?", Yang said, surprised.
"Yep."
"Wow!", Yun exclaimed. "So you're saying not only is your brother a student of Kim Kaphwan but you're a student of the Great Tung Fu Rue!? Man, you two are the coolest brother duo ever! After me and Yang of course. "
"Amazing, You two are something different", said Yang.
"Is Master Tung's status really well known here?", asked Chonrei.
"Well maybe not to everyone but to Uncle Lee yes", Yun said. "He would sometimes talk about how when he was young he would travel across China to challenge Tung and he would always lose. He was the greatest inspiration to him despite never being a student of him."
"Sounds like Tung", said Chonrei.
Chonshu woke up and yawned. "Hey guys what's up, did I win?"
"You sure did dude", said Yun.
Chonshu got up from the ground. "Seriously?"
"No, you lost to Yang after that whole stunt you pulled off", Chonrei answered, his arms crossed.
"Oh yeah. Sorry Yang", Chonshu said, chuckling.
"Don't apologize. It's in the past", Yang saud
"Welp, I got my wish", said Chonshu. "I've fought the Twin Dragons and even managed to beat one of them! Thank you." He gave a bow to the twins.
"No problem", both brothers said, bowing as well.
"Well, Chonrei, still wan't to fight one of them?", Chonshu asked.
"No thanks. I've had enough excitement for one day," Chonrei replied. "Maybe another time. Definitely before our break is over."
"When do you want to schedule it?", Yang asked.
"Well, when are you free?", Chonrei replied.
"We already told you our weekends are packed", Yang said. "The week we're usually working. Unless-"
"Unless on Tuesday!", Yun chimed in. "It's always a slow day on Tuesday and Hoimei and Shaomei are usually around on that day, so they can take our shifts if it comes to it. Plus, maybe Xiangfei can watch us this time."
"Tuesday… alright we agree to Tuesday then?", asked Chonrei.
"Yep, until then", said Yang.
A/N: Hey guys, sorry for taking a while. I'm unsure if I'll have a proper schedule ever. But to those who've been waiting thank you so much for your patience. Means a lot to me :D
