Chapter 5: "Evolution of Fire, Supreme Sailor Phoenix."
The story begins with Usagi and the others at the command center looking at the data on the Chaos Crystal. Luna told the Sailor Senshi about it and Usagi spoke.
"Is it serious?" asked Usagi with concern on her face.
"Dead serious, the Chaos Crystal has some crazy dark power that no one has ever controlled by the Chaos Millennium" said Luna with a frown.
"Similar to the Silver Millennium, it was ruled by the evil queen, Queen Kuroi who used the Chaos Crystal of dark power attacked our world and our people were almost killed by a group of monsters but when Neo-Queen Serenity arrives, she sealed her into another planet" said Artemis.
"Now she came back to regain her revenge to steal the Legendary Silver Crystal's powers" said Diana.
"It looks like we have to be ready for this kinda challenge," said Taiki.
"I'm with Taiki on this one, we gotta make sure the Dark Union doesn't pose a threat to our powers" said an concerned Magis.
"We just can't take any chances," said Usagi.
Later that night, Magis is sleeping in his wife, Ami while Bright Star is inside the Crystal Airship within the Scarlet Crystal musing that he has collected fifty Crystals and is determined to find the other fifty. The pillars glow and Bright Star is surrounded in a blue Sphere Field as she recalls the memories. In the Chaos Millennium, Nabu approaches Ishtar and comments on the fact that Marduk and Nergal were still not able to produce good decides to send Nabu to Earth saying that she is the only one who can do it now. Nabu responds that his is how she thought it would go to begin with. Before Nabu leaves, Sin hands over three cubes known as the Chaos Sphere Cubes, which will give the Oppositos their original powers even in the human world. That way, they won't have to brainwash humans, they can take the "Silver Crystal '' themselves instead, though she clarifies that the generation of the Sphere Field is only temporary and explains that she didn't previously think they would need them. Sin tells him to give one cube to Marduk and one to Nergal , calling this their "last chance". As Nabu leaves for Earth, Sin puts full trust in her, hoping she will produce better results than the other two.
Nabu vanishes through a portal and reappears in a realm where she confronts a dragon emerging from a cave. He pulls out a blank card and starts absorbing the monster into it. She is pushed back as the dragon roars and chunks of rock fly about, but she is eventually successful, the dragon becoming streams of pink energy which surge into the card. She comments that that exhausted her as usual. Eternal Sailor Phoenix runs on a path with Eternal Sailor Mercury and trips. Suddenly, an unknown dragon comes and attacks Eternal Sailor Mercury. Phoenix and Mercury confront this terrifying-looking dragon. As Phoenix calls out for Mercury, the concrete path breaks apart and Mais wakes up gasping in fear. Magis, realizing it was a dream. Still anxious, Magis wonders if he can really protect Magis in his current state. During the early morning, Nergal and Marduk are in a forest doing extensive training, doing all sorts of exercises while "drawing".While both are doing standing push-ups, Nergal falls in the end and is tired. Marduk calls her pathetic, with Nergal responding that Marduk should be grateful they are training together.
Suddenly, the sky turns gray and a lightning bolt strikes, with a red energy ball appearing. Nergal and Marduk recognize it as something from the Chaos Millennium and decide to check it out. They arrive there to see a large crater, with Marduk saying that there is no mistaking the power that created it - Nabu has come. Sometime later, Nabu hands over the Sphere Cubes. Nergal and Marduk are both pleased, both thinking they can defeat the Sailor Senshi now. Until now, they'd been forced to brainwash incompetent humans. Nabu tells them they train as hard as they like and quickly departs, perturbing Nergal in the process.
On the way back home, Akira asks Ami what's wrong with Magis. Ami responds that she doesn't know, but he's been like this all day, commenting that she's not seen Brightstar either. Athis family home eats dinner, with Ayame saying her grandmother, Mei's roast meat and potatoes are the best. Mei says they are both free to have more. Magis, not finished with his food, gets up and leaves, saying that he isn't hungry, which shocks Ami, Ayame and Mei. Inside Magis and Ami's bedroom, Magis looks over at his Eternal Phoenix Article to figure out a way to counterattack the Dark Union monsters and thinks that if he doesn't think of something soon enough, then he won't be able to protect Brightstar. Meanwhile, Brightstar is still gathering his memories inside the Scarlet Crystal.
Just as Tori is getting out of the shower, she receives a call fromMei, who asks her to go to the Juban Mountains with Magis the next day when they have off for a day off, thinking the fresh mountain air would help asks why she was asked to go and Mei doesn't have a clear answer, which seems to make Ami nervous and she almost drops her towel. The next day, Ami accompanies Magis to the Juban Mountains. Magis complains that he has to carry a large bag of groceries and travel up a large staircase at the same time, but Ami reminds him that it was his mother's idea to take him to the Juban Mountains in the first place. There they meet again, only to find out that Kakushi Yakushiji is not here at the moment. They've also brought them more supplies and Magis seems annoyed that Kakushi isn't there.
Regardless, Taiga welcomes them and lets him stay for the night. stays in the room with the Wooden Sailor Princesses . He questions himself on how he can protect Brightstar once again. . Yuma stumbles upon the "Atrocious Dragon" statue and is reminded of his nightmare involving the mysterious dragon, worrying Tori. Kaze comes in and says Magis seems frustrated. Counseling him, he says he used to be the same way. He then gives Yuma two cards, "Crystal Chain '' and "Crystal Barrage". Taiga states that Kakushi gave those cards to him to pass on toMagis. Magis is surprised that Kakushi knew he would feel this way and Taiga responds that their "master" can easily see through his disciples' hearts. Yuma believes that these two cards can be used in an attempt against theDark Union and will treasure them properly.
The next day, Ami and Magisvisit the river bank (the scene where Tori playing around the water at the beginning ). Magis sits on a rock, thinking about the two cards that Taiga gave him from Kakushiji. In an attempt to make him feel better, Ami starts splashing Magis. Frustrated at first, Magis eventually comes around and joins her. Meanwhile, in the streets, Usagi comes back from the shopping mall, with her friends tells Usagi that she was pretty slow, and Usagi who thought this was a good time to go shopping, suddenly feels the Dark Union's presence again. This time, she says that "they are going to destroy the most important thing" and "the arrival of the dragon of ill omen".(Rio mentions something "flying straight towards us", leaving "total destruction in its wake") Shark thinks that this has something to do with Barians.
On the way back from the river, Ami is happy that Magis is feeling much better and Yuma thinks that all of that was to make him feel better but Ami denies it while blushing. Ami asks why they're taking the long way, but Magis quickly denies the question. She tells Magis that they need to go back to the mountain quickly or else they might catch a cold. At that instant, an energy ball knocks Ami down. It is revealed to be Nabu, calling out to Magis. Nabu tell Magis not to worry about Ami and to worry about himself Magis asks whyNabu attacked Ami. Nabu immediately throws her Chaos Sphere Cube and expands it, surrounding Magis and Ami in a red Sphere Field.
The Sphere Field then expands into a giant energy ball. Inside the Scarlet, Brightstar, who is still absorbing her memories, suddenly feels the power and wonder what it comes in and introduces herself as Magis and Ami's last opponent. In the Sailor Senshi, Diana has claimed that a powerful energy source was detected in area 753 and speculates that it is similar in power to the Sphere Field. Luna Thinks that it has something to do with the Dark Union. Magis and Amii, inside the Sphere Field, correctly deduce that Nabu is a Opposito Senshi. Nabu asks if they are scared, but Magis and Ami deny it. Nabu asks them if he will accept the fight and they answer back, "of course".
