Hey everyone, thank you so much for being a part of this wonderful journey. It has been nothing but amazing and wonderful. I want to thank everyone so much for your support; your reviews and private messages have helped encouraged me to keep going up until this point.

The question has also come up on what I'm going to write next, and I already have one planned but please let me know if you don't like it OR if you'd like to see a certain romance, or a certain two men to have our character with, OR SOMETHING DIFFERENT, let me know in the comments.

Ready?...

IT'S A CANON OF THIS SERIES, A WHAT-IF SCENARIO?

WHAT IF DESI'S FATHER WAS DEAD?

WHAT IF...STEVE FORCED BUCKY WITH Him, AND SHE MEETS DEADPOOL when she's in trouble?

Desi is still herself but is also more prone to work alone.

ROMANCE THOUGH, WHAT ARE WE THINKING?

SAME GUYS OR DO WE CUT SOME GUYS OUT?

REPLACE THEM MAYBE?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND AGAIN, THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

ENJOY!

I DO NOT OWN MARVEL, BUT I DO OWN DESTINY AND HER FAMILY.

Desi had moaned as she awakened, a huge headache erupting from her, attempting to sit up when she felt someone squeeze her hand. She squinted her eyes as she looked over and instantly smiled when she saw them.

Bucky held her right hand, and Thor was asleep with his hand on her right leg. Looking over she saw Loki sleeping with both of his hands on her left leg, and Steve slept with his left hand clinging tightly to hers. Bucky didn't make a noise, but he cupped her face, looking into her eyes before he kissed her gently.

"You'll be the death of me…how are you feeling?" Bucky whispered.

"Like someone tried to bulldoze me, is Tony…?"

"He's alive thanks to you." Bucky whispered, Desi sighing in relief.

"Good…" Desi said, resting her head back on the pillow as Bucky ran his hand through her hair.

"I'll tell everyone you're awake, and get you some items for a shower." Bucky told her, kissing her forehead once more before he left her. As the door closed, Steve and the others woke up, Desi smiling at them.

"Hey, you guys." Desi greeted them lamely, but they smiled when they finally saw her. To be alive all these years without her, to see her again even in this sight, made them happy.

"You said you'd stay safe." Steve reminded her.

"And I did, I wasn't going to live without trying to bring Tony back." Desi snapped, and Steve smirked; he missed her attitude, for now.

Steve gave her a kiss on her cheek, Loki kissing her other cheek as they finally relaxed. Thor smiled as he felt silly for his behavior all these years.

"So tell me, what happened since I was gone? Are…the kids here?" Desi asked.

The men looked at each other hesitantly, but Loki spoke up first.

"You were both gone for five years," Loki told her, noticing her eyes widening at the realization, "When you blipped, so did your father, and your brother Cole...and all our children, darling."

Desi covered her mouth, the devastation on her face as she looked at her three husbands; realizing the emotional trauma they must have endured.

"We all divided after you left. Nat and I searched for answers, hunting Thanos, trying to find anything in hopes to get you all back. Thor stayed at our home in New Asgard, I stayed at our home here in New York…and Loki just…left. He searched for a way to bring you back too." Steve explained.

"I'm sorry that you came back to all of this, we just…we couldn't handle the loss of losing you and the kids." Thor spoke, and Desi nodded.

A lot was swirling in her mind, looking down at her hands when she saw her wedding rings; her heart was torn.

"Five years, wow." Desi muttered, unsure what to really say. When they reunited, they were emotional reunites, but Desi felt torn. Did they move on? Was Lemi okay? Was there anything left for them?

"I know I've been gone a while," Desi spoke up, "but I want you to know that if you moved on, I won't hold you back. You can go, and live your new life; I'll hold no grudge and you can see your kids whenever. I just want you all to be happy."

Desi was alarmed when Steve lifted her into his arms bridal-style, resting his forehead against hers.

"You're the only thing that makes me happy, Destiny Rogers. You're not getting rid of me that easily; you are my every breath." Steve told her.

Desi smiled, kissing his cheek as he slowly put her down onto her feet as Loki took her arm. Helping her keep steady, Loki kissed her hands delicately.

"You can't get rid of me that easily, darling. I will burn the world down all over again for you." Loki swore and she chuckled, nodding in agreeance.

"I suppose not. Very well, I'll allow it." Desi said when Thor ran a hand through her hair.

Desi smiled up at him when Loki released her, allowing her to focus on Thor. She rested her hands on his cheeks and he smiled, letting out a shaky breath he didn't know he was holding; her touch was as gentle as he remembered.

"I, uh, kind of let myself go a little. I'm sorry you came back to this, I was…"

"You were hurting," Desi reminded him, "you were grieving us, and that's okay. I fell in love with you, not your body, remember?"

"Really?" Thor questioned, her smile remaining unfazed.

"Really, really." Desi assured him, giving him a chaste kiss.

"Alright, that's enough," Bucky's voice rang through when he came back in, clothes in hand, "Desi has been asleep for a week, at least let her shower."

"Fine, fine. We'll wait downstairs." Thor said, flashing her a wink before they left the room, Bucky placed her clothes on the bed before he left with them. He flashed her a smile before he left as well, allowing her to finally be alone.

Desi slipped on the blue jeans and black and white flannel shirt with her combat boots, braiding her hair over her shoulder before she made her way downstairs. Desi looked around the house, seeing no one in sight when she heard voices coming from outside.

Desi carefully went outside, the place feeling familiar but yet unknown to her when she came face to face with a lake, everyone she knew in the Avengers team was there with them; even Fury made an appearance.

"Desi!"

Desi laughed, tearing up as Nat hugged her tightly, Clint joining in on the hug as she welcomed their embrace.

"You guys, I'm so glad you both are okay." Desi said, casting a healing spell over them when she saw their injuries.

"You have grown so much, Desi, I'm really proud of you." Nat told her.

"She's right, I'm not sure where we would be without you. I'm…glad you're okay." Clint spoke, patting Desi's head.

"Destiny." Desi smiled as Bruce approached her, seeing his hand on an armband.

"Bruce! Nice look, part Hulk, part Banner!" Desi said as Bruce pulled her into a short hug, healing him as well.

"Thank you for healing me, this was driving me crazy," He jested, removing the band effortlessly, "It's crazy how when we first met, you were still learning about yourself. Now here you are, facing a whole army down against Thanos. You did good, kid."

"Thanks, Bruce, you were so kind and welcoming when we first met. Thank you for everything." Desi said, noticing Peter running towards her.

"Des!" Peter chimed, pulling her into a tight hug, hugging him back just as tightly.

"Oh, you have the greatest hugs." Desi chimed.

"I was just thinking the same thing," Peter told her, "I'm so glad you're awake. I came to see you as much as I could but my Aunt May was really worried about me."

"I don't blame her, I'm just glad you're here now. You were so brave out there, Spider-Man." Desi told him, seeing him smile even more brightly.

"Thanks, I'll make sure to do you proud." Peter said, stepping aside when she saw Tony standing there with Pepper and a little girl.

Desi let out a shaky breath, tearing up as she walked over to Tony, his face just as teary as he met her halfway. They tightly embraced each other, hit with the emotions of what could've been; not being able to say goodbye, to be brought back to life.

"Next time do pull a crazy stunt like that, it nearly killed you." Tony whispered but was relieved to see her awake and alive once more.

"You're welcome, Sir Tony. I love you too, 2nd dad," Desi said, "I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try. I…I'm so glad you're okay."

Tony closed his eyes tightly, smiling, "I love you too…2nd daughter."

Desi laughed when he pulled away, calling over Pepper and his little girl. Pepper also hugged her gratefully, kissing her cheek.

"Thank you for bringing him back to us." Pepper said, forever grateful.

"I wanted to keep my promise: to look out for him. I'd do it again in a heartbeat." Desi said before Pepper let her go.

Tony pulled his little girl towards Desi, and Desi kneeled in front of her with Tony; smiling brightly at her.

"Desi, I want you to meet our daughter. Desi, meet Morgan Destiny Stark. Morgan, this is Destiny Montoya-Stark."

Desi gasped softly, covering her mouth as she fought her emotions, refusing to cry but was honored that Tony named his daughter with her name as Morgan's middle name.

"Hi, Destiny." Morgan said with a bright smile.

"Hi, Morgan! Please, call me Desi. How old are you?" Desi asked kindly.

"I'm six years old." Morgan told her.

"Oh, wow, that's a good age. Are you as smart as your dad with technology?" Desi asked her.

"I'm even smarter than him." Morgan said confidently, oblivious to Tony's glare.

"Oh wow, I bet." Desi said, chuckling, making Morgan giggle with her.

"You saved my dad's life. I want to be just like you when I grow up." Morgan said, and Tony's eyes widened in horror, the team chuckling at his reaction.

"Shit, listen, honey, you don't want that. She has too many husbands." Tony told his daughter, realizing the error he made.

"Husbands? Does she have more than one? Shit!" Morgan spoke out loud, Desi fighting to not laugh when Pepper looked at Tony with crazy eyes.

"I'm afraid it's true, little one, it can be very annoying sometimes; especially when we fight." Desi confessed, trying to help Tony.

"I beg your pardon," Loki shouted, "But how can it be annoying? I'm a joy to be with."

"But you're not her favorite." Bucky said confidently, glaring at Loki.

"She doesn't have a favorite, now behave both of you." Thor said when he noticed Steve smirking.

"What's so funny, Captain?" Loki sneered.

"I'm her father's favorite; that's enough for me." Steve said confidently, knowing full well it'd trigger a fight.

Bucky bit his lower lip, closing his eyes briefly as he contemplated ending Steve for a moment.

"At least I help with the kids. You both run around like madmen on missions." Loki defended, pointing to Thor and Steve.

"That's true, it's really between Loki and I." Bucky argued, all looking to Desi for confirmation. The team was amused by their interaction with one another but Desi sighed heavily, looking back to Morgan.

"See what I mean?" Desi said, making a funny face.

"Yeah, but they are pretty cute." Morgan pointed out.

"They are, aren't they?" Desi agreed, and that was enough for Tony.

"Alright you two, bonding time is over," Tony said as he and Desi stood up, Pepper taking Morgan's hand into own, "so, what are your plans?"

"I think I'm going to take my family back home to the cabin, maybe renovate for some extra bedrooms for the kids. I'll still be around if anyone needs healing, but I think I'm going to spend my time with the kids." Desi answered as her husband came to stand around her closely.

"I'm thinking of the same thing, hang my helmet and focus on what matters." Tony said, hugging his wife close to him as he rested his hand on Morgan's shoulder; he didn't want to risk missing out on this new life.

One by one, everyone headed home, but what remained was the stones, and Steve had offered to take the stones back himself. Desi spent time with her father and brothers, relieved to see that everyone was okay.

Desi said her goodbyes to everyone, spending time with her kids for the day before they went home. Desi was surprised to see the house was intact, the kitchen and living room spotless, but was surprised to see the bedrooms remained untouched. Steve was frozen in time here when he was here alone, and her heart broke for him.

Bucky and Steve left to return the stones, and Desi busied herself cleaning the home with various pies in the oven when Loki and Thor returned home. Both felt at peace to be home, hearing Desi singing in the kitchen as she took out her pies, preparing to put in her brownies into the oven.

"I've missed this…" Thor whispered, smiling to see her so relaxed and herself.

"As have I..." Loki said, his eyes now heated as he approached Desi, wrapping his arms around her waist with kisses going along her neck.

"Loki, stop. The oven is on." Desi moaned but knew it was pointless when Thor now stood in front of her, pulling her into a sensual kiss before he turned off the stove, his eyes just as heated.

"It's off now, love." Thor teased before assaulting the other side of the throat.

She knew she wouldn't get any rest today.

When Bucky and Steve returned, Desi had just taken her brownies out of the oven; Thor and Loki were in the living room with the children, Chewy helping keep the kids preoccupied.

"Welcome home, how did it go?" Desi asked, leaving out the apple pie.

Steve smiled; apple pie was his favorite and would be sure to get a slice later.

"I gave my shield to Sam, I'm retiring from duty." Steve told her.

Desi looked to Bucky for confirmation and he nodded, "We both are."

"You guys don't need to do that; the battlefield is your life." Desi told him.

"You're our life," Bucky said, "and we want more time with you, and this family."

"Bucky and I accepted a position from Fury; we're in charge of the mission assignments given to the team, but we won't ever be sent into the field." Steve explained.

"Oh, that's good. You two won't last long homebound." Desi confessed when Steve pushed the loose curls behind her ears, catching her blushing.

"I won't start until next year, giving us plenty of time together." Steve whispered, Bucky coming from behind her as he placed his hands on her hips.

"Let me guess, you're detaining me again?" Desi teased.

"Afraid so, just to be sure it's you, Mrs. Rogers." Steve whispered.

Desi smirked but shuddered a moan when Bucky bit on her ear lobe. "Are you ready for us, Mrs. Barnes?"

"Yes, sir."

Desi squealed when Bucky lifted her, taking her upstairs, Steve following behind them.

Years passed, and Jamie was now 6 years old and showed the same abilities as Desi, with the same super soldier strength and speed as Bucky. Bucky was elated and began to train him to exert all his energy but he was just as excited to get training from his mother. Jamie had grown to have the same hair and eye color as his father, Desi knowing her son was going to be a heartbreaker.

Asmund was more like Loki. He could heal, just like Desi but he gained the ability of illusion. He loved to multiply himself, playing tricks that he was asleep when he was really eating a brownie in the kitchen. Loki enjoyed training him, proud of who his son was growing up to be, Even Asmund wanted to keep his long black hair similar to his father out of admiration; his eyes matching his father's.

Astrid is as blonde as her father's, with blue eyes to match. She was a tomboy, walking around with a mini-Warhammer Thor had crafted for her; even Astros allowed her to ride him from time to time on the ground with Thor's guidance. She had gained the ability to manifest a shield and domes, getting training at the same time as Jamie.

Fiona had blonde hair like her father, her brown eyes like Desi's. She had spunk but was as kind as Desi, with the same optimism and determination as her father Steve. She had the same abilities as Jamie: super strength, speed from the supersoldier serum with the same healing abilities as Desi.

The team would come monthly to visit them, Peter visiting more often than others with Tony, Pepper, and Morgan. Tony confessed that Morgan had a small crush on Jamie, making Desi amused at the thought but wanted to play it cool for her son.

Their children enjoyed playing with one another, sparring with one another. Desi sat on the steps of the porch, smiling happily as she watched her kids. Her father had finally divorced her mother, re-marrying an Asgardian woman, Lemi married Stephanie and Cole was now living with his Asgardian woman blacksmith girlfriend.

Natasha finally got with Hulk after so long, but they stayed with the Avengers to help with the new agents. Clint retired, staying with his family but would bring them sometimes for the monthly visits. Sam worked vigilantly, with Bucky and Steve helping him with spars, but would come over sometimes for a family dinner.

Pietro and Wanda would rarely visit, the loss of Vision still heavily affecting Wanda but thankfully Pietro was helping her.

Tony kept his word and retired, but still helped with the latest gadgets for the Avengers Initiate, teasing that he was making suits for Desi's children despite her protest. As for Peter, he came to visit weekly, sparring with the kids and having movie marathons with them as a family. He would bring Aunt May or his friends sometimes, which wasn't a problem for her.

Bucky sat beside Desi on the porch, and she rested her head on his shoulder, Loki sitting on her opposite side taking his hand into hers. It was crazy for her to think that her life would lead to his moment, and didn't regret this life she had; she'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Steve had walked out sitting behind her as he ran his hand through her hair, kissing the top of her head as Thor sat beside him, mimicking Steve's actions.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Bucky asked.

"I'm just thinking I guess, about how crazy life is. I joined the Avengers just to help temporarily, and it lead me here; meeting all of you. I don't regret this life: I have beautiful kids, wonderful husbands…I'm happy; something I thought I could never be." Desi answered, smiling.

"We wouldn't be here without you, darling. Thank you for giving us this…for we are just as lucky to have met you, to have you in our lives." Loki spoke.

"I would never regret this life, this choice. I too would do this all over again." Thor stated.

"I wouldn't be me, after my life as the Winter Soldier, because of you. Thank you for giving me a chance to be the man I was, to be the man you deserve." Bucky stated.

"I didn't feel worthy of this, ready to die with the shield at the end of all this. I'm glad you came into my life, and showed me there is a future to be had- with a family to boon," Steve spoke, "but we are all here: until the end of the line, love."

Desi smiled, watching as the kids laughed amongst each other, their legacy before them: "Until the end of the line, beloveds."
