Back on the Arch
"Come in Arch.", Clarke's voice rang through the communication system.
"We're here Clarke.", Jake said to his daughter through the comms.
"We found Lincoln and Anya. We got their memories back. I asked Anya to set up a meeting with Lexa in two days. That gives us enough time to send Raven back up and grab the next group.", Clarke said.
"That's great news Clarke.", Abby said to her daughter with a smile on her face.
"First, are there any issues up there?", Clarke asked her parents.
"So far so good. Who's going down next?", Monty asked, not knowing who Clarke wanted on the ground next.
"Just a small group. Kane, Miller, Bellamy, and you Dad.", Clarke said in the comms. "The next group will be bigger. Right now I think a small group would be better.", Clarke said to them.
"We agree.", Abby said to her daughter already knowing who her daughter was going to pick.
"We're sending Raven up in a little while. We're just going to set up some tents and gather some food.", Clarke said to the group.
"We'll have the group get ready for travel.", Monty said to Clarke.
"Sounds like a plan. I'll radio back once we're ready to send Raven back up.", Clarke said as she turned the comms off.
"Let's get you guys ready to leave.", Abby said to the group.
Back on Earth
"I knew you could hunt but damn Princess that thing is huge.", Raven said as Clarke and Lincoln came back with a panther.
"Well three months in the woods by yourself helps. Plus when Madi and I were the only ones left on the Earth we had to hunt. Mainly it was fish but we had one or two panthers that we were able to kill.", Clarke said with a smirk on her face.
"I wonder if we'll see Madi again.", Raven said with a small smile on her face.
"I'm sure we will. Hopefully sooner than the world ending.", Clarke said to Raven.
"Yeah, how are we going to go about that again?", Octavia asked.
"Maybe Mount Weather can help. We'll figure that out. One thing at a time, let's become the thirteenth clan first. Then we'll be able to have Lexa and the Coalition to back us up with everything else.", Clarke said to them.
"Wait the world ended?", Lincoln asked the girls.
"More than once actually.", Raven said, which shocked Lincoln.
"Well damn.", Lincoln said, which got Octavia to chuckle.
"Don't worry, hopefully we can stop both from happening. If not at least one we'll be able to stop.", Raven said to reassure Lincoln.
"I would ask more questions, but I have a feeling it will just confuse me more.", Lincoln said to the girls.
"Yeah, best to not as everything will be answered sooner or later anyway.", Octavia said with a smirk on her face.
"Right, well let's get this cooking and let's set up the tents.", Clarke said to them.
"Should we stay in the cave? Isn't that saver than being out in the open?", Octavia asked out loud.
"Anya knows we are here. She won't let anyone come this way. I don't think the other clans will either. It's not their territory, plus I think we can handle ourselves.", Clarke said with a smirk as she started a fire to cook the panther in.
"If I die I'm coming back to haunt your ass.", Raven said as she started to get the tend supplies out of the dropship.
"Bitch please you're being dramatic.", Clarke said with a smirk on her face and a joking tone to her voice.
"Just know for future situations.", Raven said as her and Octavia started to pitch the tents.
"Wouldn't be the first dead person to haunt me.", Clarke said.
"Wow, that got dark.", Octavia said which got the girls to laugh and Lincoln to shake his head.
"Why don't you and Lincoln go get some fresh water for us.", Clarke said as she threw canteens at Octavia.
"On it boss.", Octavia said as she grabbed Lincoln's hand and started to walk away.
"Trying to get rid of them?", Raven asked as Clarke came over to help her with the tents.
"No, I just know they could use some alone time.", Clarke said with a small smile on her face.
"I'm sure they appreciate it.", Raven said with a small smile of her own. "Hopefully you get a good reunion with sexy Commander.", Raven said with a playful smirk on her face.
"Shut up.", Clarke said with a wide smile on her face and a laugh to her voice.
"We all deserve a happy ending. Take advantage of that when you can.", Raven said to Clarke who smiled at her.
"That goes for you too, Rae.", Clarke said to her friend.
"I'll find my happy ending eventually.", Raven said with a knowing smile on her face.
"Hmm with who? Finn? Wick? Echo?", Clarke asked with a smirk on her face.
"Finn will always be my family. But I don't see us being together, I'll have to talk to him once he's down here. Wick was just sex, don't get me wrong he's a great guy. But I think we were just using each other at the time. Echo, she loves Bellamy. I think she always will. I have my eye on someone else.", Raven said with a sad expression on her face.
"Could that someone be the leader of the Boat People?", Clarke asked her friend with a smirk on her face.
"Maybe, though I doubt she feels the same for me.", Raven said to Clarke.
"That's not true at all. The way you two looked at each other. There was definitely something there you just didn't go for it. Maybe this time you should.", Clarke said to Raven.
"I might.", Raven said with a small smile on her face.
"Lexa can put in a good word for you. Or even Lincoln can since they're all friends.", Clarke said to Raven.
"Alright matchmaker enough.", Raven said with a laugh to her voice. "It's been a while you think they got eaten by a sea creature?", Raven asked Clarke with a laugh to her voice.
"No, I don't want to think of what they're doing honestly. I doubt it's just getting fresh water.", Clarke said as she turned the panther to cook the sides evenly.
"Oh eww, I didn't think of that until now.", Raven said as she pretended to gag.
"I'll go look for them in a little while. Let them have some fun for a little.", Clarke said to Raven with a smirk on her face.
"Hopefully you won't be walking in on something nasty.", Raven said as she finished putting the first two tents up.
"I'll make sure to close my eyes. I don't need that picture in my head.", Clarke said with a laugh to her voice as she sat in front of the fire watching the panther cook.
"Are you excited to see Lexa again?", Raven asked as she started on the last tent.
"Yes, but I'm also a little nervous. I've changed since Lexa knew me. I don't know if she'll like the new me.", Clarke said to Raven.
"I'm sure she will. She loved you as Wanheda, she'll love you know. Once you explain to her what you had to do, she'll understand. She's had to do some hard stuff as the Commander for her own people. Everything you've done has been for yours. Plus you also took her people in after she died. I'm sure she'll be grateful for that.", Raven said to Clarke.
"I hope so.", Clarke said as they heard footsteps in the background.
"Is that them?", Raven asked in a hushed voice.
"No, that's not Lincoln or Octavia's footing. It's Anya.", Clarke said as she noticed Anya and a warrior behind her approach their camp.
"Klark, I have set up a meeting with Heda. I will take you to Polis in two days time.", Anya said to Clarke.
"It's just going to be Indra, her, you and me right?", Clarke asked.
"Sha, Titus tried to join but I told Heda it would not be wise to let him join the meeting.", Anya said to Clarke.
"He'll be dead soon enough anyway. Thank you Anya, would you like to stay for something to eat?", Clarke asked Anya.
"Yu are monin, Skai hainofi.", Anya said to Clarke. (You are welcome, Sky princess) "Chof ga offer, Oso should melon bakon gon Polis.", Anya said as she bowed her head and walked away from the campsite. (Thank you for the offer, we should head back to Polis)
"She seems nicer this time around.", Raven said as they watched Anya walking away.
"I think she realized she doesn't need to be a bitch this time around.", Clarke said with a laugh to her voice.
"Hmm maybe.", Raven said with a shoulder shrug as Lincoln and Octavia came walking over to them. "Hopefully you two remembered the water.", Raven said with a laugh as Clarke laughed at her friend's comment.
"Shut up.", Octavia said as she threw a canteen at Raven's chest.
"Alright let's eat something so Raven can head back up to space.", Clarke said as they gathered around the fire to eat the panther.
"Are you good with going back up there yourself?", Octavia asked Raven as they began to eat.
"Yeah I'll be fine. Maybe on the next run someone can come with me.", Raven said with a smile on her face.
"Just keep in touch when you get back up there.", Clarke said to her friend with a serious look on her face.
"You know I will.", Raven said as they continued to eat their meal.
"Should we go hunting for more food?", Lincoln asked the girls.
"I think we'll be fine until tomorrow morning. I'm sure everyone has eaten by now, there will be plenty left over. We can go hunting tomorrow morning.", Clarke said with a warm smile on her face.
"Once we're in Polis we won't need to hunt.", Octavia said with a knowing look on her face.
"Well only a few people will be allowed to stay in Polis. The rest will have to make Arcadia again. We'll have to build again.", Clarke said to Octavia.
"This time with Lexa on our side.", Octavia said with a head nod to agree with Clarke.
"Exactly, it'll be better. We'll be able to get things in the markets in Polis. Trade with other clans as well. It'll be good for us.", Clarke said as they finished up their meal.
"So who's going to kill Nia? She's going to be a problem. At least if Roan is in power we might have a better chance of peace.", Octavia asked Clarke.
"Lexa will probably kill her again.", Lincoln said with a knowing smirk on his face.
"Or maybe even Roan. Once we get his memories back he might end up killing his own mother.", Raven said out loud to the small group.
"I don't think he would. She may not have been the best mother to him. But I don't think he could kill her. He would have done it while Lexa sent him out to get me in the woods. He could have done it then without Lexa knowing, and he didn't. Lexa was the only one who would have the guts enough to kill her. Especially since Nia killed Costia; it was revenge but also to keep Azgeda in check.", Clarke said knowing that Roan wouldn't be the one to kill his mother.
"Maybe the legendary Wanheda can kill her?", Octavia asked with a smirk on her face.
"As much as I would love to do that, it didn't happen the first time. I doubt it'll happen the second time. Not with Ontari there; she's Nia's little guard dog.", Clarke said with a bit of anger in her voice.
"Touchy subject, sorry.", Octavia said, knowing she hit a sore spot with Clarke.
"Not a touchy subject. More guilt than anything. She killed all the nightbloods in their sleep. Innocent children just so she could get into power all because Nia drilled it into her head.", Clarke said to Octavia.
"We'll have to take her down as well then.", Lincoln said to the girls.
"I don't think so. I think she'll follow Roan. She's someone we have to watch out for that's a given. But I think Roan can keep her in check. If not then we'll have to do something about it.", Clarke said to them.
"We'll have to keep a lot of people in check. If not, maybe we should send them up to space and put them in jail.", Raven said to them.
"That's an idea, one step at a time. All this what if stuff or overthinking stuff is making my brain hurt.", Clarke said as she rubbed her temples as if she was getting a headache.
"We'll figure it out in time.", Octavia said as she nodded her head to agree with Clarke.
"First thing is Lexa and being in the coalition. After that we'll work things out.", Clarke said with a small tired smile on her face.
