Six months later...

"Hurry up, we're gonna be late!"

"Sugar Britches, the class doesn't start until we get there," Santana informs her, who drags her by the arm across the parking lot. Sugar may be in a hurry, but Santana is never late. Other people are simply early. If Sugar is ever going to take over the family businesses—the legal ones—that's a lesson she'll need to learn.

Besides, as a majority owner of the new Cheeriosity Studio, Santana can always fire her precious angel's dance instructor although her wife might not like that too much considering Kurt is one of their oldest friends.

"You always do this even though you know I can't talk to Rory during class," Sugar huffs. "At least walk faster."

Santana scoffs. "In these heels? Please."

Sensing an argument in the making, Brittany decides to step in. "Sugar, what did we say about manners?"

"You're the only people I can't boss around because if I do, you'll cut my AmEx into little, tiny pieces," Sugar recites from memory. She doubts her moms will actually take her birthday present from her, but she'd rather be safe than sorry since it was the best gift they have ever given her. The only downsides are that she has a spending limit and it's not as widely accepted as Visa or MasterCard.

"Exactly," Santana says, "and I'm not in any rush for you to see your boyfriend. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're too young for that shit."

"I'm about to start sixth grade!" Sugar argues.

"Britt, do you have any scissors in your purse? I have some plastic I need to snip," Santana threatens.

Brittany rolls her eyes.

"Give me three more twirls. Great job, ladies!" Sam encourages from his position at the head of his pole dancing class. He was a little hesitant about teaching at first because of what Mercedes would think, but she was supportive as always and really encouraged him to give it a try. Now he's glad he did. "Then drop it down low, repeat, body roll, twirl, and end with a split!"

"Great session, Sam," an out of breath Tina Cohen-Chang raves.

"Thanks," he grins.

Tina is a godsend. Ever since Sue fled the country, she's taken over as costume designer. To the parents' immense relief, her designs cover a lot more skin. The only problem is that she has a huge crush on one of the instructors and sometimes she accidentally pricks the girls with a needle if he's close by.

"It was okay if you like watching grannies do the spins," Aphasia says from her spot in the corner.

"How would you know? You were playing my DSi the entire time!" Sam teases his stepdaughter.

Tina sifts through her workout bag for a bottle of water. "I'll see you guys at tomorrow's fitting," she laughs, taking a sip before swinging her bag over her shoulder.

"Sam, I need a new game to play," Aphasia says.

"Wow, AJ, that's the third one this month."

Aphasia shrugs. "What can I say? I'm hooked."

"Still on the fence about Comic Con?" he asks.

"Yeah, but only because the new Grand Theft Auto comes out the same week."

"You sure do have a knack for GTA," Sam teases.

Over the last few months things at the Jones/Evans household have been a lot less strained. Mercedes knew all along that her husband and her daughter just needed to spend some quality time together and now she's watching from the doorway as they geek out together.

It's adorable.

They've even convinced her to start playing video games with them although she isn't nearly as good as they are.

"Okay nerds, it's time for Aphasia's group lesson," she tells them.

They're walking down the corridor when they pass Mike Chang, the newest dance instructor. "Hey man!" Sam says. "Tina wouldn't shut up about you before class today."

Mike blushes and runs his fingers through his messy hair. "Really? 'Cause I was thinking of asking her out."

"Go for it," Mercedes says. "The worst she can say is no."

"Or she might call the cops and tell them you're trying to kidnap her," Aphasia suggests.

Mercedes places a hand over her daughter's mouth. "See you later, Mike."

Rachel is late, but this time it's not her fault. It's totally not. Sure, she fell asleep after leaving the hospital without setting an alarm, but who wouldn't pass out after that marathon of a shift?

And now she has to get to the bank before it closes and she has to get Harmony to Cheeriosity before class starts.

"I don't understand," Rachel says to the bank teller. "When I checked my account this morning, I had overdrawn."

The bank teller checks his computer. "Then at 1:25 PM, $60,000 was wired over."

"From who?" Rachel asks.

"From the joint checking account of Santana and Brittany Lopez," he says.

"Okay," Rachel says slowly. "I'd also like to deposit this check from my dads."

"Mom?" Harmony asks once they are outside the bank. "Does this mean we can pay off all our bills?"

"I don't know what it means," Rachel says, opening the car door for her daughter.

Despite their divorce proceedings, Jesse and Quinn remain close. Quinn has Beth during the week, Jesse gets her on the weekends, and every Friday night they all have dinner together. It's the most time Beth can ever remember her parents spending together and she loves it.

Her mom still cries sometimes when the two of them eat pizza and ice cream together, but she's a lot happier now that she's dating Ms. Rachel.

Her dad doesn't have a girlfriend or anything because he says he's still hung up on her mom, but Beth sees the way their BreadstiX waitress looks at him.

Oh yeah, it won't be long before she has two new stepmoms.

"In a couple of years you'll be driving me to rehearsal," Quinn tells Beth as they pull into the parking lot. There's only room in the back, however, because Santana and Brittany are the only ones who got their own personalized parking spaces.

"Dad said he'd start teaching me now if I want," Beth says, hopping out of the car and heading over to greet Harmony, whose mom just pulled in as well.

Quinn frowns, but follows Beth. She greets Rachel with a kiss. "How soon is too soon to start driving?" she asks her girlfriend.

"Eighteen," replies Rachel. "Hey, you've known Brittany and Santana way longer than I have. Did they ever just put money into your bank account and thought you wouldn't notice or something?"

Quinn laughs. "All the time, especially when Jesse and I first got married. They had just made it big in the 'baked goods' industry and were flaunting their wealth. If you think Sugar burns through cash, you should have seen them back in the day."

"You're so lucky Sugar's not in your age group," Harmony tells Beth. "I don't know what it is, but it's like the judges see a totally different person on stage than the one we see in rehearsals. She hasn't lost a competition in months."

Kurt and Dave are trying the long distance thing. It's tough since Dave works nights at his bartending job and goes to school during the day, but Kurt really wants to make it work.

For one thing, the sex is fantastic.

Plus Rory really seems to like Dave. They watch NASCAR together and Rory just won the U13 Go-Kart Grand Prix.

"I miss you too," Kurt says into his phone. "I gotta go, my dance class is about to start."

"Tell him I say hi!" Rory pleads.

"Dave? Rory says hi. Okay, bye."

Rory grins at his dad and then over at Sugar who is running towards him. She leaps into his arms, but he doesn't really have any strength to hold her up so they topple onto the floor with a crash.

"Sugar, get off him before your mothers see!" Kurt scolds. "I like my son as he is. No bullet holes, no missing body parts, he's got straight teeth."

The rest of Kurt's students file in one by one until the entire class is there.

Kurt looks at his watch. "Okay, we're only starting an hour late this time, guys," he says. "And girls," he adds. "Rory, start the music. Then go do your homework in my office."

The rest of the parents watch on the opposite side of the glass.

"This is more like it," Santana says as she cuddles with her wife and Sugar is ushered to the front of the class to enthusiastically, albeit incorrectly, demonstrate a move.

"Brittany," Rachel whispers.

Brittany turns around and glares at Rachel. "Do you know how many years I spent not being able to watch my daughter rehearse? Shut up!"

"Why did you give me $60,000?"

"We like to give to charity," Brittany replies. "Or maybe it's just our way of saying thanks for letting Sugar win every once in a while."

Rachel pauses. "Oh. You're welcome."

"Don't tell me what to do," Brittany says before going back to her original position curled up next to Santana. She smiles in spite of herself. Rachel has kind of grown on her, especially now that Rachel's dating Quinn.

What good is having so much money if she can't share it with her friends?

After all, Brittany does the books for her family's businesses.

She knows that she, Santana, and Sugar are spoiled rotten.
