Staring at the curse that was bleeding out and slowly dying, Danuja placed the white gloves back onto her hands and stared pitiably at the moaning creature. "Sorry. But ya gave me no choice. You'd hurt other's after all...Guess I better go see how Fushiguro-san and that kid are d-"

A flash of light that lit up the area startled the girl, and her fuchsia eyes dilated when seeing that part of the school had been destroyed. A huge curse was coming out of the wreckage, and it had sent Megumi flying straight out onto the school's walkway.

"F-Fushiguro?!" Danuja shouted, quickly rushing to where her classmate had been thrown. Though it would take her some time to reach the location, and by then..."God dammit...why didn't I realize somethin' so powerful was around here? I should've picked up on it righta way..."

No...its probably because all I can feel is the cursed objects energy, but even so...If somethin' happens to another of my peers...

Coming out of the man-made hole, hand resting on her aching chest, Danuja couldn't help but wonder what the heck she had just walked into? Fushiguro was on the ground, blood understandably pouring from his head but was thankfully conscious, and Itadori was tangling with the curse. Did the guy not have any sense of danger?

"Why don't you get it?! Just take those two and run!" Megumi screamed at the top of his lungs to the hardheaded teen.

"You're in a tight spot yourself!" Itadori bellowed back, swinging from the curses tail before his screaming form was sent barreling away.

"Only curses can exorcise other curses!" Fushiguro tried to reason with him. "You can't beat it!"

"You're telling me that, now?" Yuji argued, managing to safely land back on the ground where he nimbly dodged the grotesque monster's relentless attacks. "In any case, you're going to die at this rate! If I went home now, I'd be having nightmares!" Kicking the curse in its large eye, he caused blood to spurt from it. "Besides, I've actually got...quite the curse myself!"

Curse of his own...What does he mean by that Danuja couldn't help but wonder. She shook her head. Now wasn't the time to be pondering that. The curse had managed to wrap its large fist around Yuji. He was gritting the finger between his teeth, and at this rate...

"Itadori! Fling the finger down to me! Yer gonna be that thing's dinner otherwise!" Danuja yelled, surprising the two males since neither of them had noticed she was there. "The curse will turn its attention on me! It'd be better that way, and you can escape with Fushiguro!"

"No way! There is a way to save everyone!" Yuji protested, staring firmly up at the finger he had tossed into the air. "I just need some cursed energy of my own, right?"

"Stop...DON'T DO IT!" Fushiguro desperately cried out, only for his features to fall when Itadori clamped his mouth shut and swallowed the cursed object in one gulp.

He...he just devoured Ryomen Sukuna's actual finger Danuja inwardly panicked. That's majorly bad! Gojo sensei said that thing is poisonous...Does that mean...Itadori's gonna die...? Then again, I suppose that ain't the only thing that could happen...

When it appeared like Yuji was about to be consumed, with little to no effort, the cursed energy he was now releasing ended up destroying the curses arms and Itadori almost lazily landed back on his feet. Roaring in both pain and agony, the curse rushed toward Itadori on its multiple limbs, who simply lifted up his arm and decimated the large monstrosity in one fell sweep.

Danuja felt frozen. The cursed energy that was coming from Itadori was nothing like anything she had ever experienced before, and it made a cold sweat form on the back of her neck. The moonlight shining down on Yuji-or was it Sukuna now-gave his body an almost unearthly glow. Black tattoos had formed on his body, and he had grown an extra set of eyes. Not to mention how long and sharp his nails now looked...And the laugh he had started to unleash was downright eerie.

"Ah, I knew it! The light feels best in the flesh!" Sukuna exclaimed gleefully. "A cursed spirit's flesh is so boring. Where are the people? The women?!" Hopping onto the edge of the walkway, Sukuna extended out his arms. "What a wonderful age it has become! Women and children...spawning like maggots. Marvelous! It'll be a massacre!"

Having made her way over to Fushiguro, Danuja sat down on her knees beside him and muttered, "I wonder what the point of him rippin' off his shirt was? Ya think he's proud of his muscles?"

"I don't think this is the time to be joking," Megumi mumbled back. "I'll try and stall him. You hurry and get-"

Fushiguro paused when Sukuna had actually grabbed hold of his own throat. He had even stepped back off the railing and that insane look that had been on his features had vanished.

"Whaddaya think you're doing with my body? Give it back!"

"How're you able to move?" Sukuna questioned slowly. He seemed just as perplexed the way Megumi and Danuja were.

"Um...it is my body, you know." Itadori replied back as if that should have been obvious.

Cursed energy, that looked like dark shadows swirling around him, Megumi readied himself to attack. "Don't move! You're no longer human. Under jujutsu regulations...I will exorcise...the curse known as...Yuji Itadori..."

Yuji quickly lifted his arms up in surrender. "Wait, really, I'm just fine! More importantly, you and I are both pretty beat up. Let's get to a hospital,"

"The markings on him are disappearing. I think he mighta been able to suppress Sukuna somehow, Fushiguro-san. Maybe you don't need to attack him," Danuja spoke up softly. That stifling aura that had surrounded the pink haired male had faded, too.

Clenching his teeth, Fushiguro was uncertain what to do. Danuja might have claimed this was Itadori, but could they really be sure? And could he really end the person who had saved both of their lives so easily even if he was a threat to the populace?

"What's the situation?"

"Gojo Sensei?! Why are you here?" Megumi gasped out startled to see the spiky white-haired male, who tended to always wear a blindfold over his eyes, standing behind them.

"Hey. I wasn't planning on coming, but man, you're roughed up," Gojo sung out, leaning forward to better examine the dark-haired male's injuries. He then pulled out a cell and started to rapidly snap photos. "I should show the second years."

Danuja crossed her arms over her chest seeing Megumi trying to hide his face. "Did ya just come here to mock us, Sensei?"

Gojo chuckled at this. " Not at all! The higher-ups wouldn't shut up with a special-grade cursed object gone missing. So I stopped by while doing some sightseeing. So, did you find it?"

"Um...Sorry, but I ate it." Itadori awkwardly spoke up for Megumi and Danuja when they both lowered their heads and didn't seem to want to answer that question.

Gojo was silent for a moment before asking with a tilt of his head, "For real?"

"For real." Yuji and Megumi replied in perfect unison.

Taking Itadori by surprise when the peculiar older male walked up to get a closer look, Gojo snickered before commenting, "Damn, it really did combine with you. That's hilarious. Anything off with your body?"

"Not particularly."

"Can you swap out with Sukuna?"

"Sukuna?"

"The curse you ate."

"Oh...Yeah, I think I can do that," Itadori said with a nod of his head, placing his hand on his hip.

"Then give us ten seconds," Gojo instructed as he crouched down, placing his hands on his knees to stretch out his limbs. "Once ten seconds are up, come back to us."

"But..."

A confident smirk formed on the man known as Satoru Gojo's face. "Don't worry, I'm the strongest. Megumi, hold onto this,"

"What is it?" Fushiguro asked, looking down at the paper bag he had been tossed.

"Kikufuku from Kikusuian. It's Sendai's specialty, and it's super good. I recommend the zunda and cream flavor."

Fushiguro's face totally says he can't believe Gojo went out buyin' souvenirs while we risked our lives and people could have died Danuja thought with a tired smile. She sometimes wondered who the real adult among them was.

"It's not a souvenir. I'm going to eat it on the bullet train home. And you should learn to respect your elders, young lady!"

"I find it kinda terrifying ya knew just what I was think-Ah! Sensei!"

Sukuna had attacked Gojo right off, yet he was still going on about the Japanese rice cake. Satoru had even managed to casually sit on top of Yuji's possessed body, much to the great alarm of Danuja and Megumi.

Easily dodging or countering Sukuna's strikes, Gojo mused, "My students are watching, so I'm going to show off a little," A grin on his face, Satoru swiftly moved behind Sukuna where he grabbed his arm, landing a painful sounding blow on his face where it caused the cursed being to actually distance himself from the shockingly agile human.

"For crying out loud..." Sukuna voiced in mild amusement, having been hit with a projectile attack that sent his torso flying a good distance where he impacted with the railing. "You jujutsu sorcerers are always trouble, no matter what the era!"

No matter how powerful Gojo was, Danuja still couldn't help but gasp when Sukuna was the one who sent a powerful attack his way this time. And his sheer energy ended up destroying more of the school directly behind all of them.

"Though that doesn't mean much to me." Sukuna trailed off with a smirk, only for his eyes to widen a bit when seeing that, not only had Gojo protected the two kids, but the white-haired male was unscathed.

"Seven...eight...nine...Should be time."

His body slumping forward as if he were about to pass out, Itadori quickly recovered where he questioned, "Oh, was everything okay?"

"I'm shocked. You really can control it," Gojo chirped, some of the rubble he was causing to float behind him falling to the ground.

"He's kind of annoying, though," Itadori complained, slapping at his own head. "I can hear his voice."

"It's a miracle that's all he's doing," Gojo commented, approaching Sukuna's vessel where he placed two fingers against Yuji's head and gave it a little tap. Itadori's eyes rolling to the back of his head, Gojo caught the boy when he passed out.

"Why did you do that, Sensei?" Danuja asked with a small frown. It wasn't like Itadori was causing them any trouble after he had regained control.

"If he isn't possessed by Sukuna when he wakes up, he might have potential as a vessel," Gojo explained, turning to the two with his usual smile. "Now, I have a question for you. What should we do with him?"

Holding the bag close to his form, Fushiguro gazed down at it for a moment before speaking up, "Even if he is a vessel, jujutsu regulations demand Itadori be executed. However...I don't want to let him die."

"Your personal feelings?"

"Yes. Please do something about this."

Laughing as he lifted Yuji up and tossed him over his shoulder as if he weighed nothing, Gojo looked at Danuja with a grin. "And does my other precious student feel the same way?"

Averting her eyes, Danuja's slightly long fingernail scratched at her cheek. "I don't think my opinion on the subject matters, Sensei..."

"Ah, but because it's someone like you, I think your opinion matters most," Gojo said with a knowing smile. There was just a hint of sadness behind it as well that caused Danuja to grip at her dress.

"Then...I agree with Fushiguro-san. Itadori-san deserves to live no matter what those stubborn higher ups say," Danuja announced with a firm look shining in her eyes. "He's a good guy who helped us when he could have just fled, ya know."

She wanted to add that Itadori's life had more meaning to it than hers. That unlike hers, she could understand why some people wanted her 'erased', but he didn't deserve that same fate when he had been dragged into this dangerous mess in the first place. Yet she knew Gojo would just smack her upside the head if she did. He had done so plenty of times when Danuja was younger.

"Leave it to me!" Gojo reassured, giving a thumbs up and sparkling grin.

Fushiguro sighed at this, letting out a small "Ow..." when he felt a slap to the side of his head, and he turned to looked at Danuja in annoyance seeing that she had removed her glove and had placed her bare hand close to his injury.

"I didn't ask you to do that,"

"Ya never do. But that's why I'm here. You'll just feel a little tired afterwards," Danuja hummed out with a grin, wincing when Fushiguro's head injury was being transferred to her. "Yer somethin', though. Stayin' conscious when this wound hurts like hell."

Feeling a little wobbly as she stood up, Danuja laughed and gave Megumi a peace sign despite the blood now running down into her right eye. "Healing transferal complete! Quit glarin' at me. Ya know ma body's stronger than yers and heals faster,"

"You're an idiot..."

"Eh?! Yer supposed to say, 'thank you' when someone helps ya, ya know!"

Gojo burst out laughing at the two teens, shifting Itadori's body a bit before he started to snap pictures of Danuja this time. "So cute~ Can't wait to tell the second years how lovey dovey you two were behaving~"

"Don't go spreading stupid rumors!" Danuja snapped; cheeks pink as she threw a piece of rubble at Gojo, which of course didn't hit the frustrating male.

Groaning as he fell backwards, even though the pain was gone, Megumi could feel a throbbing headache coming on; something these two usually brought upon him. Closing his eyes, all he wanted was to head straight for his bed and sleep at least for a week.
